Sefa Beef Döner in Bonn

The food is incredible, but service and payment is a bit chaotic to be honest.

One of the well known doner /Shawerma shops in Bonn. There is 10-20 minutes at least waiting time. The sandwich portion is good enough yet its an expensive piece compared to other doner shops. Turkish tea and baklava are also available.

A restaurant that brings you back to the taste of Turkish food. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Thank you from ❤️

Today wasn't the beef kebab I ate 1-2 years ago. And you became so famous because of the kebab back then. Bread is thicker, too much salad, not enough meat, you get full, but more from the bread than from the meat. And that for 11€.

The beef skewer has something on it but not wow either. The taste was subtle and I found the bread to be a bit dry. Nevertheless, you can't criticize much, 100% sliced ​​meat is priced at €8.50 per kebab in the upper price range in the kebab segment.

The restaurant is recommended by both friends and the media claiming it to serve the best doner in Germany. While i cant say it is the best in Germany, its the best doner i've ever had. The meat is juicy and the bread is freshly baked. Service is top notch, every employee there works with passion.

Definitely the best quality.. I thought I had to give up eating kebab because I just can't see or smell the other shops anymore, a poldi kebab for 7.5 I think? And it just doesn't taste good. A sefa chicken kebab for €7? Best quality and the beef anyway. So I only eat at sefa, thank God 😅

Anyone who knows the store before it was expanded knows that it was better and fairer back then. The plates are emptier and the employees are more arrogant. Although seats are free, they only let certain people in and not others. They lost me as an 8 year old customer!

The CEO is so rude and arrogant. After we made a reservation on the phone, we were told on site that we couldn't get a table. When asked, the employee says the reason is because his boss doesn't want it. People are let in based on their appearance. Fie on your store!!!

Last Sunday we went to Sefa Döner in Bonn for the first time because of numerous YouTube recommendations. Although I've eaten countless kebabs in my life, I've never had a kebab that was nearly as good. The salad is extremely fresh, the homemade bread tastes great, but the absolute highlight is the meat. This applies not only to the beef, but also to the chicken. Our visit was rounded off by extremely friendly service and a really appealing ambience. We will become regular customers!

The quality of the ingredients seems to be top notch. However, the taste needs to be improved a lot... The meat looks very good, but needs to be seasoned properly, it doesn't taste like anything... The same goes for the bread. Far too little sauce is put on the kebab, twice the amount would be appropriate and the sauce needs to be seasoned better, more garlic and herbs.

As a kebab lover, I was happily expecting a delicious kebab with cheese - i.e. hallumi (or similar), crispy salad, cheese and the full program. At least something between two halves of bread. Instead, I was presented with a plate of fries masked with a piece of melted cheese. Proud of the unmasking of this 'döner', I asked whether there was a misunderstanding. But the waitress explained to me: “It said vegetarian!” Ahhh, of course – what a mistake on my part! In this shop the kebab is reinvented: fries + cheese = kebab. Well, who needs hallumi, salad, sauces or even bread? My friend who ordered the classic kebab was thrilled. Maybe I should rely on his recommendation instead of relying on a culinary redefinition of the term kebab. For anyone who wants to broaden their horizons and find out what can be considered a 'doner kebab' - go ahead and order a cheese kebab. For the rest: It's better to play it safe and stick with the original.

The Beef Döner was amazing and tasted delicious and the side dish (rice) was beautifully cooked. The only problem was that we waited for 60 minutes to have our food and the kids were starving.

Doner kebab was okay, nothing special. The meat wasn't really that great either. Don't understand the hype for it and would never wait in line that long for it. In addition, the kebab was very greasy.

The meat actually tastes really good, but the portions and the price are almost outrageous. I really couldn't believe how little meat there was on the plate. Really too expensive for that. It's not worth it if you want to eat a good kebab plate in Bonn, there are definitely better alternatives.

I've never seen so many people queuing for kebab! and the hype is real! One of the best Iskender I've ever had! Was there at 7 and had to wait about 45 minutes, which was a shame. And because of the volume, it's just very loud. But service is great! Prices very fair. If you want to eat on site, be sure to make a reservation.

The kebab is OK. In my opinion, it's a bit too greasy, so it melts better in the mouth than other Yaprak kebabs, some of which you have to chew. I recently ate there and was treated very rudely and disrespectfully. There was a small queue in front of me and the kebab man looked very annoyed. He made my beef kebab without salad and I said several times that he should please complete it. Completely normal, complete with tzatziki. He didn't seem to care. At first I thought he had ordered the one before with just a few onions and a lettuce leaf, but he handed me the kebab and then I had to pay for it. I gave the cashier 10 euros and didn't get any change. Happens more often than I've heard. This made me so angry that I went back and had to explain very unpleasantly that the kebab wasn't complete. He then told me that I had said what I wanted and that he hadn't made a mistake and in a very disgusting tone. He argued with me and didn't see his mistake, only to say here's okay, your kebab and it still wasn't complete. He made a bit of cabbage and that was it. You could have simply apologized and made a new kebab, but no, it would be better to treat a stranger disgustingly. I'm local and have lived here for 30 years and have never been treated so disrespectfully. I will never go there again and anyone who asks me where to eat won't recommend this place. One of the best, if not the best kebab plate I have ever eaten. Staff super friendly. The only point to complain about is the YouTube bonus. Youtubers get some of the butter on their meat without asking. I'm not talking about the Iskender here, but about the normal kebab plate. The “normal guest” then misses it.

The staff is always very nice and polite and at the end of the meal there is always a Turkish tea on the house. I recently had the opportunity to visit a new kebab restaurant in Bonn and overall I was very satisfied. The interior design of the store immediately appealed to me - modern, tasteful and very inviting. You can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on a pleasant atmosphere here. We ordered the Beef Doner Dürüm Menu 4. The portion was just right, the meat was tender and tasty, and the sauce went perfectly with it. Particularly noteworthy is the freshness of the ingredients, which gave the dish a special quality. Although beef kebab isn't quite my cup of tea, I can imagine that many others would enjoy it very much. Another plus point is the staff: very friendly and accommodating. They also offered us a cay on the house, which shows that customer satisfaction is very important here. All in all, I was very happy with my visit and would highly recommend the restaurant. Next time I'll try the chicken though, as that's more to my liking.

I only eat kebab at Sefa, it is the best kebab, the meat is indescribably delicious and the waitresses are always very friendly!

Basically a kebab with real potential. But it was so poorly covered and dusty... If the colleague had maybe taken 5 seconds more time and made a little effort, definitely 5 stars.
