SeeTerrassen in Schieder-Schwalenberg

Wir waren hier vor Kurzem mit unserem Oldtimer-Club zu Gast – einer Gruppe von insgesamt 60 Personen. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen! Was uns besonders begeistert hat:Organisation & Service: Trotz der großen Gruppe von 60 Personen wurden wir schnell und aufmerksam bedient. Der Kaffee und Kuchen/ Waffeln / Eis kam zügig an den Tisch. Die große Terrasse bietet einen traumhaften, ungestörten Blick auf den See – perfekt zum Entspannen und Genießen. Für uns als Automobil-Club besonders wichtig: Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze, sodass wir all unsere Fahrzeuge problemlos und sicher abstellen konnten.

Super Lokal in guter Lage und schönen Seeblick sehr guter Service und das Essen war echt lecker 😋

Wir hatten das Glück, Pfingstsonntag einen Platz auf der wunderschönen Terrasse zu ergattern. Kaum hatten wir unseren Getränkewunsch artikuliert, wurden die Getränke auch schon gebracht, das ging super schnell. Dann zum Essen zwei mega leckere Pizzis und eine frische Portion Spargel, lecker 😋 Und das i Tüpfelchen: die Küche hatte ausnahmsweise durchgehend geöffnet. Herzlichen Dank dafür an das Super Küchenteam. Einfach klasse, wir waren ( wie immer ) rundherum zufrieden

Supper tolle Atmosphäre und zuvorkommend nettes Personal

Ich glaube, ich wurde noch nirgendwo so schnell und freundlich bedient wie hier. Vom hinsetzen bis zum erscheinen der Service Mitarbeiter vergingen keine 5 Minuten. Meine Bestellung, Apfelstrudel mit drei Zugaben, hatte ich ebenfalls in unter 5 Minuten. Und die Portionsgröße ist Phänomenal. Selbstgemacht, große saftige Apfelstücke, viel Sauce und Sahne, ein Traum.

Mein Apfelstrudel war mächtig groß 😄und total lecker,mit richtigen großen Apfelstücken. Das Personal ist sehr nett 👍🏼 Danach habe ich erst einmal einen kleinen Spaziergang gemacht den man dort gut unternehmen kann. Ein schönes Fleckchen…auch sehr gut für Radfahrer geeignet.

Ich bin kurz vor der Öffnungszeiten gekommen, weil ich gesehen habe, dass dort schon Mitarbeiter waren. Ich wollte eigentlich nur einmal die Toilette benutzen, aber mir wurde ohne Begrüßung mit den Worten 'wir öffnen erst um 11' die Tür vor der Nase zugeschlagen, bevor ich auch nur ein Wort sagen konnte.

Sehr ruhige Ecke dort. Haben Eis gegessen. War lecker und dann die Aussicht über den. See. Sehr schön.

Die Aussicht auf den See ist gut. Das Essen war leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Pizza schmeckte mir nicht und zwei Haare haben den Appetit endgültig verdorben. Hier sollte an der Qualitätskontrolle gearbeitet werden.

Terrasse dirent am Schieder See, tolles Panorama, leckerer Kuchen

Natürlich haben wir auch bei unserem Ausflug zum Schieder See wieder die Seeterrassen besucht. Die Seeterrassen Schieder See sind wirklich ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt – und zwar nicht nur wegen der wunderschönen Lage direkt am Wasser, sondern vor allem wegen der rundum herzlichen Atmosphäre. Der Blick auf den Schieder See ist einfach traumhaft – gerade wenn man draußen sitzt, hat man dieses entspannte Urlaubsgefühl, als wäre man viel weiter weg als nur in der Region unterwegs. Was aber wirklich heraussticht, ist die Bedienung. Selten erlebt man so ein freundliches, aufmerksames und gleichzeitig unaufdringliches Team. Man wird mit einem ehrlichen Lächeln begrüßt, es wird regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles passt, und man hat jederzeit das Gefühl, dass hier mit echter Freude gearbeitet wird. Genau diese Art von Service macht für mich den Unterschied – persönlich, herzlich und einfach angenehm. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die kleine, nette Bedienung, die sich auch sofort um unseren Labrador gekümmert hat. Auch das Essen kann absolut überzeugen. Alles wirkt frisch, schön angerichtet und geschmacklich wirklich gut abgestimmt. Egal ob man nur auf einen Kaffee und ein Stück Kuchen vorbeikommt oder etwas Herzhaftes bestellt – die Qualität stimmt, und man merkt, dass Wert auf Details gelegt wird. Die Kombination aus leckerem Essen, dieser entspannten Lage direkt am See und dem wirklich tollen Service sorgt dafür, dass man automatisch länger sitzen bleibt, als man eigentlich geplant hatte. Es ist einfach einer dieser Orte, an denen man sich wohlfühlt, abschaltet und die Zeit ein bisschen vergisst. Für mich sind die Seeterrassen am Schieder See definitiv eine klare Empfehlung – egal ob für einen spontanen Besuch, einen entspannten Nachmittag oder ein gemütliches Essen mit Freunden oder Familie. Leckere und hausgemachte Speisen. Freundliches Personal.

Die Pizza hat mir dort gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr, sehr freundlich.

Schönes Selbstbedienungsrestaurant, tolle Lage, lecker und preiswert

Wunderbar am Schieder Stausee gelegen , haben die See Terrassen eine einmalige Atmosphäre . Es gibt keine haut cusine .Aber das Speisenangebot ist ausreichend und durchgehend schmackhaft.

"DIE PLÄTZE WERDEN NICHT BEDIENT, WIR HABEN EXTRA ABGESPERRT". Hätte man es sehen können? Ja, hab ich aber nicht. Das Gro der Plätze im Schatten und die Sonnenplätze nicht bedienen... ok ... Und in so einem Ton angefahren zu werden, da brauche ich keine Bedienung und lasse mir mein Getränk zuhause (ist um die Ecke..) schmecken.... Wir sind gegangen und ich werden auch nicht wieder kommen. Weder zum essen noch auf ein Getränk.

Nach einer Runde um den See gehen wir fast jeden Sonntag in die Seeterrassen, um Kaffee zu trinken und zu essen. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker, egal ob Tagesgericht, Pizza oder à la carte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles top – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Pizza Frutti di Mare war richtig gut

Hier stimmt alles. Tolle Bedienung, die sehr freundlich war, hat uns leckeres Essen gebracht und war sehr aufmerksam.

Es ist immer wieder schön hier. Erst ein Spaziergang am Schiedersee oder durch den Schlosspark und dann in den Seeterrassen einkehren. Wir haben jedes mal hier lecker gegessen. Ein Ausflug hier hin lohnt sich immer.

Ja, hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Essen ok, Aussicht schön, Service gut. Parkplatz vorhanden. Preis ok, Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes 19,50

Beautiful terrace restaurant with a view of the lake, if you get a good seat. The wait staff are usually friendly and you are served quickly. We visited this restaurant twice and had lunch there. The first time we ordered a pizza. I would say it was definitely not a handmade, fresh pizza. It was edible, but nothing more. The second time we ordered a schnitzel with supposedly fresh chanterelles and mushroom sauce. We thought, what could we go wrong? But far from it. Both schnitzels were clearly thrown into the fryer together and not separated. The result was that both sides were not properly fried. We'll spare you the pictures. To then put it on a plate, covered in mushroom and flour mush, and then serve it to the guest for €21 is beyond brazen. Even the wait staff were embarrassed. If the food here was cooked fresh and with passion, I'd give up my culinary training. I wouldn't have dared to mess up such a simple menu and then serve it to the guest. But that's something we see more and more often. Even the service staff rolled their eyes at our complaint. Well, we certainly won't be coming back. And we certainly won't recommend this restaurant either. We paid a lot for this very poor food. Conclusion: a complete rip-off.

Nice service, good food no matter if pizza, schnitzel or salad, everything good as always

Very friendly service and delicious food!

Service was very hectic and unfriendly. Drinks were placed on our tables without a word. A woman behind the counter was very rude to my friend when she asked a question about the cake. We then had dinner, which was very good, but didn't make up for the overall impression. We were there about two years ago and had a very nice evening. A very negative development. A shame.

Unfortunately only pizza to choose from.

It's a real shame. I've enjoyed the pizza there for at least 30 years. Over the last three months, the pizza has significantly declined in quality. It seems as if they've skimped on the amount of dough and seasoning. It's now thin, dry, and bland. I'm very disappointed and hope they return to their old quality. I'll probably switch to alternative locations from now on.

Beautifully situated restaurant (although you can hear the occasional train) with a menu full of choice. Friendly service. Fast service. Fair price level. We had not made a reservation, but we will next time. Quite busy.

Update (2025) Now there's also the potato with salmon. Whereas it used to be three fairly large strips of salmon, today it's a fraction of that and cut into several smaller pieces... You think the customer won't notice... but they do. And the pizzas are definitely smaller, thinner, and with fewer toppings. People! You're not going to make satisfied customers that way; unfortunately, they won't be able to fill up with food anymore. (Edit! 2023, 2024) The price-performance ratio is no longer good either!! Over €5 for a large Coke!? The usual apple strudel has shrunk to a minimum—at the same price, of course—... That's where it ends for us. Delicious pizzas that unfortunately (almost every time) are getting smaller! What's going on? It used to be much better and cheaper. Pizza with chanterelle mushrooms?! There were a whole four slices on it. But there was plenty of salad. The service is (with a few exceptions) nice and friendly... The boss, on the other hand, stubbornly walks past his guests... he can, or rather, must, work on his friendliness... We're used to better things from your predecessors and your beginnings... It's already gone downhill! Unfortunately. The shrinking pizzas are still the same some time later. Other guests have noticed it too. And (briefly regarding the owner's response:) no one has to say "hello" to a guest in person! But you should at least get a "hello" out of them when walking by or coming in.

My food was not good, convenience food

Where do they recruit their staff? The waiter was rude and bitchy, and the cook loudly reprimanded two elderly ladies for sitting at a reserved table.

We went there after our Mustang ride. The food and drinks were good, and the staff were friendly and there were no long waits.

We called specifically, but they didn't mention that they only serve pizza, and according to the lady on the phone, reservations weren't possible. But when we arrived, many seats were reserved. Only after we ordered drinks did she say they only served pizza. What a shame, especially on my birthday.

Actually, zero stars. I called ahead, but I couldn't make a reservation. We were greeted with an unfriendly greeting, told to take a seat without a reservation sign. Only after ordering drinks was it mentioned that they only served pizza that day. I had specifically looked for a restaurant that didn't only serve pizza, as it was a birthday dinner planned. A waffle was ordered for my child, which was very poorly prepared and cold. I expected more, and it cost €25 just for drinks for four. We're from Leipzig and are used to friendliness.

Was here for dinner, ordered a steak medium and it was almost English. The quality of the meat doesn't match the price at all. Rarely have I had such a bad steak. The plate itself was too small, so the salad almost covered everything else. This made the herb butter very difficult to get on the steak. In short, disappointment, not here again.

We were there for dinner with 10 people on Friday evening. I ordered a table in advance by phone! Everything went well, we were welcomed in a friendly and courteous manner and served throughout the evening! Water for the dog without asking! Pizza was delicious 😋 gladly again 😁!

Actually nicely located. With lots of sunny spots, although they are sometimes closed early. Large selection of cakes. Highly recommended

Very nicely located on Schiedersee

Very comfortable to spend time by the lake. Good food, delicious cake.. Doreckt on the bike path around the Schiedersee...and adjacent, well, near the campsite. Magical place 👍🏼👍🏼🤔👍🏼

2 pots of coffee, lukewarm, were exchanged by a nice gentleman with the note that the thermos flask was definitely broken. The next coffee was hot. Cherry and plum cake, baked cake. On the second visit, outrageous, unfriendly, overwhelmed service with pigtails. From the away defense. Some of the guests at the neighboring tables were also speechless. I ordered small bottle of mineral water. I got a glass of stale water garnished with lime slices. When I was told that mineral water could only be sold in bottles, there was only a shrug of the shoulders. Of course, the earnings are many times higher. Otherwise everything from the deep fryer. There are better restaurants there.

The three of us sat and ate excellently here. I would also like to recommend my dish, the baked potato with salmon and side salad, to other guests.

So that was nothing. The waitress was an older woman, about 55 years old, with a pigtail, at first exuberant, but then unfriendly. Every question was already too much. I also ordered a small bottle of water, I was given a glass of water without a bottle, which is not allowed in Germany. I then complained. The eyes were rolled and they said yes, it's okay... the PET bottle falls over into the glass. I hope that this will be checked

Very nice place where you can also go for a wonderful walk.

During a bike tour we ordered a pizza to take away from the Seeterrassen restaurant. While we waited, we sat at a table away from the seated guests. After 3 minutes we were spoken to in a very unfriendly manner, telling us that we were sitting in the cordoned off seats and that we might attract other guests to occupy these seats. The free places were blocked because there is currently no staff to accommodate these potential guests. This statement was spoken aloud from a great distance. One or two guests probably noticed this too. We then waited at the bike rack with the children. Then we received our pizza and headed towards the public bench. When we opened the pizza box we found a mini salami pizza (approx. 20-24 cm) for €11. With this experience it was our last visit to the Seeterrassen restaurant. I like to spend my hard-earned money where I am treated as a guest and the value for money is right.👍

Dinner was very good... coffee in the afternoon, so-so... the cakes are frozen goods, which isn't necessarily bad, but it's too expensive

Pizza seems to have shrunk but tastes okay. Price not justified at all. Except for one nice young lady, very unfriendly staff. Not recommended

As locals, we have been eating here for many years. Even though the rooms are in need of renovation and the ambience can really be improved, the food has really impressed us so far. At the moment, however, the austerity measures are clearly noticeable. The pizzas have become significantly smaller. For me they have become really small. In other pizzerias they would be described as small and not normal, let alone large. If you're very hungry, you won't be full. At home I went to the fridge again... The proportion of sheep's cheese in the Atlantico pizza has decreased significantly. This was different a while ago. There are significant savings here. Still tastes good. However, things have moved a lot away from the excellent level. The service is still very friendly and accommodating. Due to the quality and quantity of the food, we will consider alternatives more frequently in the future. It's a shame that the trend is so negative

Delicious apple strudel ever...

We were there for our annual dinner. The food was again a complete disaster. The taste of the meat is indefinable. Side dishes too salty or cheap conservative goods

We took a walk around the lake and stopped there for coffee. It is a very cozy atmosphere even in autumn. We ordered waffles and apple strudel, both were delicious and fresh. The price/performance ratio was good and the staff was very nice and friendly. We were certainly not there for the last time.

Highly recommended. I had the steak and it was really great.

Unfortunately prices are utopian. There's nothing like that even in the city. A tiny side salad €7.4, a potato with quark €14..?!? Unfortunately not justified and not worth supporting

I had the classic steak. The meat itself was really great. I found the side dishes very weak. For a steak plate at 35 euros and 1.50 euros extra for the fried potatoes instead of the fries, extremely flimsy and thick fried potatoes that I didn't finish either. The salad was OK. The steak is probably weighed to the milligram and looks more like 180 grams than 220 grams. I left hungry. Service was nice.

I have never eaten such delicious vegan pizza outside of home!

I can really recommend herring with fried potatoes and salad

After walking around the lake, we ended the evening here. My girlfriend had the pasta with rocket and walnuts and was thrilled. I had pizza. And what can I say? It was the best pizza of my life. I've been to Italy and a few Italian restaurants here and none come close to the taste experience! Super nice service. Beer was delicious. Tip top. The lighting was a bit too dark for my taste, but otherwise everything was great.

We only took a short break; the stay lasted two cold drinks. We were served quickly and friendly, treated to a good view and the dog was no longer thirsty when we left!

A pity! All tables are occupied and part of the area is cordoned off. When I asked whether the area could be opened because all tables were occupied, I received an unfriendly and annoyed “No.” We would see that the area was closed.” The operator turned around and she was gone. A pity! Too bad!

Very courteous service, children and dogs welcome. Friendly conversations, very tasty tarts, cakes, cappuccinos. I now ate something there more often and everything was very tasty!

The restaurant is really beautifully located by the lake. What we didn't like was that the food was overpriced. For a schnitzel with mushrooms and a mini salad bowl without any side dishes for 14.90 euros. The price would be acceptable with side dishes. The service is friendly but you are ignored. Conclusion, highly recommended for walking around the lake. We'd love to come back for a drink.

Service took place after repeated requests, the decoration is full of spiders. Food: Redfish was pangarius, tomato soup was vegetables, pizza was cheap cheese. Expensive on top of that.

Very nice restaurant, wonderfully located directly on Lake Schiedersee. Ate schnitzel there and were thrilled with the quality! The service was very friendly and we liked the atmosphere too. An all-round successful evening in a great restaurant. We recommend! Thank you very much 😊👍

Never again!!! After receiving zero attention for 15-20 minutes, we left again. We had pre-booked a table. When we arrived we were just told that the table was at the front. No welcome, no card, no drinks. Even though everything inside was empty and not everything outside was occupied, we were simply ignored. There were enough staff and they always walked past our table, but just looked stupid. Totally unmotivated and incompetent. We then left. Luckily there is the Anno 1700 in Schwalenberg, where we were warmly welcomed, had delicious food and a lovely evening. Thanks Anno!!!

We only had one drink each, but the service was very good. The dog also received a bowl of water without asking. The large parking lot nearby for the Schiedersee recreation area means that the lake terrace is very well attended. It is advisable to reserve a table.

Visited on June 30, 2024 with 10 people. Nice restaurant with a large covered terrace and quite a few seats. Great ambience by the lake. Friendly staff. Very good cuisine. Reasonable prices. Whether salad, schnitzel, steak, fish or one of the many pizzas, everything was really tasty. We had a great early evening. Attention, closes at 9 p.m.… Clear recommendation, would love to come back.

Everything was fine, only the toilet was very, very dirty

Been here again after 10 years, the two older ladies with their home-style German cuisine were no longer there. Were disappointed with the Italian, the green area was also a disaster, Don't come back

Nicely located restaurant, unfortunately no food available at this time! Okay, then just ate some ice cream! Service very quick and attentive!! A break on site is worth it! Next time we'll eat there later!!
