Well, the request for an inside table was denied to someone with a wasp allergy, the lady at the service is hard to beat in terms of charm, very rude - let's hope the boss is back, we never had any problems

Food was delicious and nice, friendly service.

Unfortunately I can't award any points for food or ambience here. The reason is the following conversation on August 7th, 2024: Question: I would like to reserve a table for 10 people (!) on December 14th, 2024. Answer: Unfortunately I can't do that, we're in the middle of summer. Question: Does that mean you can't accept reservations for December? 🤪🤪 Answer: No, we have to wait to see if we need to keep tables free for returning customers for Christmas dinner. Question: Does this mean that if I want to reserve later, it could be that reservations are no longer possible? Answer: YES Question: So you don't want any new customers??? 😜 I'll now leave this conversation alone without comment and I'm still stunned.

Unfortunately we couldn't have something to eat in the beer garden. We were brushed off straight away. We didn't have a reservation. Were very rude and the guests behind us were pushed aside. Unfortunately, there was no friendly “sorry or you have to wait” message. Seems like they no longer need to keep guests. In any case, they won't see us again.

We sat outside on the beautiful terrace, great service, delicious food, heart what more could you want? And always important for me personally, everything is wheelchair friendly, great.

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. The food was very tasty and high quality. One of the best service we have experienced in a long time. Attentive, calm and pleasant. The atmosphere seemed inviting and cozy. We particularly liked that there was an aperitif without alcohol on the menu. We have rarely, if ever, experienced this in a restaurant. We were thrilled and will definitely come back.

Dear Happy (how you, as an adult, can give yourself such a nickname is a complete mystery to me - especially when it comes to such a grumpy example of your species!), I've been watching you and your behavior for quite some time now from my pond opposite your restaurant, which is admittedly very nice from the outside (I don't know what it looks like on the inside!). On the weekend before last, I unfortunately had to experience once again - some of those affected have also described their unpleasant experiences in previous reviews - as you did with a lovely family with two children (I assume they were 8 and 11 years old). When day-trippers came to our beautiful lake with their bikes, you rudely denied access to your oh-so-chic restaurant. Unfortunately, since you weren't brave or honest enough to tell them that you didn't like children (and/or cyclists!?), you fibbed that there was no space left, you rascal. Since I want to continue to be fed by the many excursionists (even though I know that this is forbidden and not healthy for me), I am interested in ensuring that your restaurant does not have to close at some point because you alienate your guests and would therefore like to help you In this way, the following should be considered: 1. Surely you were a child once (and hopefully at least a little “more happy”!?) and were happy when you went out to eat with your parents!? 2. It could be that the father of the family from the weekend before last was the owner of a medium-sized company who (in addition to a cozy meal with his family) had a location for his team's Christmas party this year (perhaps even more than 30 people - how much money you you deserved it, man Happy!) was looking for. 3. Have you ever thought about the fact that the majority of the clientele you prefer to serve might unfortunately no longer be able to go to your fancy restaurant in 10 years? If you don't start hosting young families, things could get tight at some point! Then happy is over… 4. Watering the flowers in front of the entrance to your restaurant with a cigarette in the corner of your mouth while greeting guests doesn't leave the best impression on everyone! Well, Happy, take care! I'm going to go swimming now and hope to meet a few nicer people who will watch me and my children in a friendly manner, say hello and maybe. even feed... Your Quacky

We reserved a table for Mother's Day and were very, very satisfied. EVERYTHING was just right. There is a large parking lot. The restaurant is idyllically located on a small lake. A warm welcome, great, cozy atmosphere, enough distance from the next table, a very good selection of dishes, the food was TOP and lovingly prepared, plus great, extremely friendly and attentive service. There was even a rose for Mother's Day to say goodbye. The price-performance ratio is right here and we would love to come back! Continue like this – thank you for the lovely stay with you!

Good restaurant! In the summer it is beautiful to sit on the covered terrace, in the winter it is cozy inside. Food has always been of good quality so far. Price-quality ratio is excellent, but the drinks are on the pricey side. In any case, still cheaper than in the Netherlands ;)

Wir sind regelmäßige Gäste im Restaurant Seehof Herzogenrath und möchten besonders die herausragende gut bürgerliche Küche hervorheben. Die wechselnden saisonalen Gerichte bieten nicht nur eine vielfältige Auswahl, sondern präsentieren auch eine exzellente Interpretation der gut bürgerlichen Küche. Unsere Erfahrung zeigt, dass die Empfehlung, immer zu reservieren, goldrichtig ist, da das Restaurant hoch frequentiert ist. Het ontvangst was vriendelijk. Omdat we op een houten bank zaten heb ik voor een zitkussen gevraagd. Heb van alles geprobeerd maar het antwoord was nee. Op de houten stoelen lagen kussens maar, nee, die moeten daar blijven liggen. Nog 2 pogingen gedaan en toen opgegeven. Het eten was, na ja, grote portie, gebakken aardappelen veel te veel zout. Bord was liefdeloos opgemaakt en met eten volgeprakt. Na het eten nam niemand de moeite om te vragen of we nog een desert of iets anders wouden. Na een een half uur tegen lege glazen hebben aangekeken zijn we vertrokken. Heel jammer, ligging en ook restaurant is mooi. Voor ons de eerste en laatste keer. Hoge prijzen, hiervoor verwacht ik ook wat.

Wir wollten in der Bar was trinken- uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Bar zu hat. Allerdings wurden demonstrativ vor der Nase Cocktails serviert. Schockiert vom dieser unverschämten Lüge, durften wir immerhin auf Toilette gehen. (Dafür der Stern) Gästeselektierung nach System? Nein Danke. Keine Empfehlung!

Das Ambiente am See ist traumhaft schön.

Schönes Ambiente, eine sehr gute Küche und sehr freundliches Personal.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und wurde durch den Service nur getoppt. Wir haben unser Hochzeitstagsessen hier verbracht und waren mit unserem Hund auf der Terrasse. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und ich möchte an dieser Stelle nochmal ein großes Lob aussprechen. Die Portionen waren in Ordnung, die Qualität sehr gut und uns wurden roastbeef und geschnetzeltes für unseren Hund angeboten. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und ich kann nur empfehlen es auszuprobieren

Sehr gutes Essen, aber der Service könnte bei fremden Gästen aufmerksamer sein. Stammgäste werden mit Prosecco begrüßt,es gibt eine Flasche Wasser an den Tisch.., Da fühlt man sich irgendwie als Gast 2er Klasse!!!!

Ich kann das Seehof Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Ein Lichtblick in Herzogenrath. Ich habe bereits öfters hier gegessen und war kein einziges Mal enttäuscht! Essen und Auswahlmöglichkeiten top, Qualität des Essens und die Weine für Kreis Aachen mehr als hochwertig, Bedienung exzellent. Die Preise sind in der Tat für manche Speisen hoch, aber es ist es wert. Ich kam immer gerne hin und werde auch bald wieder erneut einkehren :-)

Von der Reservierung bis zum Cappuccino war es ein tolles Erlebnis. Service sehr,sehr gut und freundlich. Essen fantastisch und reichlich. Wir haben selten so einen schönen Besuch im Restaurant gehabt. Wir kommen wieder.
