Food taste is really good! We liked it so much just that maybe it was weekend and they were really full, that they forgot one of our orders 🥲. After waiting for 1 hr + the food still didn’t turn out and we thought they forgot about it. We did ask a few times til we decided it was too long and cancelled it. Otherwise it would have been perfect :)

PAY your staff properly, it is not my job to do it. The arrogance and rudeness of the staff at the end because I did not want to leave a tip was unbearable. I also had to ask for my orders at least minimum twice every time. So, high prices for what they offer and lack of good service. Food is okay, nothing special.

Disappointing Experience - Never Again! We had a really bad experience at this restaurant. The delay with the dessert was because what we ordered had mistakenly been delivered to another table, which can happen. However, during the wait, we followed up multiple times with different waitresses, and each time we were told the kitchen had been informed. Despite this, even after over 40 minutes, the dessert still hadn’t arrived. To make matters worse, when new guests arrived, the staff asked us to cancel our dessert order so they could give our table to the new customers. This was extremely unprofessional and made us feel rushed and unwelcome. After we paid, we were expecting the usual complimentary fruit that’s normally served, but that didn’t arrive either. The service was chaotic and frustrating. This was such a disappointing experience, and we won’t be coming back.

The meat dishes tend to have little meat for the price; those fried in batter are often cut so small that the batter portion predominates. The taste is also average, and the level of spiciness is rather weaker than I would have expected. Unlike in pretty much every other authentic Chinese restaurant in Munich, rice is charged per portion, but then you have to wait 10 minutes after ordering for a second helping. Refilling water for tea - unlike in pretty much all other Chinese restaurants - also costs extra. It feels like people are simply trying to maximize profits a little bit at every turn. Why there is a single table in the entrance area in front of the curtain to the actual dining room is no longer surprising. It's perfectly fine to only reserve a table for a certain amount of time, but if you're then asked to vacate the table because you've finished eating, even though you actually have 30 minutes left - well. See previous point.

The first dinner I had in Munich was very good. I ordered grilled fish, tofu brisket, and shredded potatoes. However, I had vomiting and diarrhea that night. I read the reviews and it was not an isolated phenomenon. When you swipe your card at checkout, you are forced to choose the tip ratio, otherwise you won’t be able to swipe it.

The proportion of Chinese guests is probably an indication of the authenticity of this restaurant. It definitely wasn't my last visit.

This is a very popular location that is buzzing with people. I would recommend making a reservation so you get a spot. The food came out in 10 minutes, which is a plus! I had the vegetarian Mapo Tofu and the yuzu minze drink. The Mapo Tofu was deliciously spicy and numbing and had a good flavor. The yuzu minze drink was sour and refreshing.

I was visiting Munich for just three days and was craving Asian food, especially something spicy. I came across SEEN Restaurant because of its high Google rating and decided to give it a try—and it did not disappoint! The flavours were incredible—authentic, bold, and satisfyingly spicy. It was exactly what I needed on a cold winter’s day. In fact, it was so good that I went back again two days later! As someone from Singapore, where we love our “mala”, I can honestly say SEEN rivals (and even surpasses) many of the places back home. If you’re in Munich and craving Sichuan cuisine, this place is a must-try.

I was here for dinner with my friends and the elderly woman with mobility issues was extremely rude and rude. I will never come here again and cannot recommend this place.

The dumplings as a starter are awesome! Unfortunately, the taste of the rest didn't impress us at all (too hot / too strangely seasoned), even though we really appreciate various Asian cuisines. Best Sichuan cuisine in Munich so far. All dishes we eat are great. The fish with chilli oil and two spices are richly flavoured and well balanced, the fish is very fresh. The dry stir-fried beans are excellent. The lamb stew is even tastier than what I would expected. Price is not cheap but certainly worth it.

Unfortunately the service there was poor. For 15 minutes they didn't even bother. When we asked whether we could also have a menu (pointing to the next table who was currently selecting the order from a menu), we were told that the cards were old and that we should look them up on the internet.

You know it’s authentic Sichuan when you enter the restaurant and you see 90% Asians eating esp. the uncles and aunties! I super loved our dinner last night. My boyfriend said he would have a hard time eating now in other Asian restaurants in Europe after our meal as the standards went really high. We had the salt and pepper pork ribs (my favorite), beef (super bomb, amazing), and the mix dumplings. Everything was out of this world! Sadly, we were just visiting Munich. Will be a while before we can come back again to eat here. Also, the staff who served us? He was just as amazing and nice!

Beef and Tofu was super tasty... Beef was well cooked and soft, in rich and spicy sauce. Crispy thin pork belly with teriyaki sauce was also super good! Don't worry this isn't spicy at all:) I will come back with friends again, because when i eat chinese food, i like to order couple diffrent dishes and share! I ate beef and tofu. The dish resembles mapo tofu with tender beef, and it's very delicious and goes well with rice. There's a lot of pepper (I think), so it's more like a numbing pepper-like spiciness than a chili pepper. The crispy fried pork belly and teriyaki sauce were also very delicious. This has a stable taste that is easy for Japanese people to eat as it does not have any peculiar taste. The five colorful gyoza dumplings all had different tastes, and they were good with lots of toppings. The tables are simple, but the interior is stylish and clean. The waiter in charge of my table served me with a smile. I would like to stop by again when visiting Munich.

It’s rare to find decent Chinese food in the city center, but it takes a long time~

Wir hatten einen Slot um 20h reserviert und waren zum ersten Mal dort. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, warteten aber 10min darauf bedient zu werden. Keiner teilte uns mit, dass bevorzugt über die App zu bestellen sei. Da kein Kellner sich bemühte uns zu bedienen, fragten wir nach Karten. Da wieder niemand nach einer Bestellung fragte , haben wir über die App bestellt, Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte. Als dann doch ein Kellner kam, überprüfte er unsere Bestellung und buchte noch Reis dazu, da wir nicht wussten, dass dieser extra bestellt werden muss. Die Reihenfolge der Speisen war dann doch eher zufällig, Hauptspeise vor den Vorspeisen und der Reis auch erst auf 3x Nachfragen. Soll das Fine Dining sein.? Die Gerichte waren dann doch wie erwartet sehr geschmackvoll und gut. Leider war es hektisch und ungemütlich, so dass der Abend kein wirklicher Genuss war und wir es offen lassen nochmals zu kommen.

Delicious! Unfortunately, the lunch specials were missing the side dishes advertised on the menu, such as kimchi and white beans. Instead there were two prawn chips and four edamame, which is really not equivalent. Additionally, the dish (sea bass with rice noodles) was unexpectedly spicy, which was not noted on the menu. The note when paying was received warmly and it was explained that the card had not yet been updated, but that shouldn't happen!

Very tasty, traditional Chinese restaurant, Sichuan cuisine. There are many slightly spicier dishes, but also some without any spiciness. These are all well marked. The portions are very large and you can order a small portion of rice for just €1.50. There is a large selection of different main courses and starters, the prices here are a little more expensive, but still fair for what you get. The service was extremely friendly and made you feel very comfortable.

Disappointed. A Chinese friend recommended the place to us. The food was good. We have had Sichaun food in other German cities and had better. Nevertheless, this was good. If not great. The service was terrible. Really terrible. We had a reservation. The guy who was seating the customers, completely looked past us and was speaking to the guys behind us. We waited for a good 15 min before we got seated. We asked for some chili sauce. And the guy was probably offended that we did. He was trying to convince us that we haven’t tried the dish without the chili. We said we did. But he didn’t care. We never got the sauce. We asked for forks. They got 1 fork with no knife to eat with. There was a big group which was super loud and we couldn’t talk cos we could not hear each other. So we ate in silence and left as quickly as we could.

The food is delicious, but service has so much room for improvement. The reservation system needs some updates, or please just stop having one. There are too few servers for this pretty large space. Things take forever to get done. Ambience is pretty nice. It feels like this place is decorated for a place with different caliber. But it is all smoke and mirrors or lipstick on a pig.
