Got pizza without even ordering. Everything was great, everything was great!!

Really fun bar. Long and narrow. Very central so catching the last train home is no problem.

Iconic pub/Irish pub with a large selection of typical spirits and beers. Rustic self-service facility and a stage with regular live performances from various bands. Anyone who is in Karlsruhe must have visited this place.

A great Irish Pub with live music every Friday and Saturday. There's no food on offer, but there's a pizza/Döner Take away next door. The pub has a great range of beers and whiskeys and a great atmosphere.

Rip-off of death on the menu was Jackicola for €4.90 and you paid €12. The bartender couldn't explain it either I liked the store but the staff is ripping off and has become really bad.

A real old school Pub, you don't need anything else, if you don't like this kind of place, then you never been to this kind of place. Friendly & sociable staff, not just waiting for their shift to end.

Scruffy's Irish Pub, living room for the regulars, hang out for local musicians. Amateurs, professionals, as well as interationally renowned stars of music, pit stop for many on tour e. g. The Hussy Hicks (AUS), The Whisky Shivers (Austin, TX), The Mickey Rickshaw (Boston, MA), ASKULTURA ( Miami, FLA), The Cardinals Sins (IRL) the only Irish Pub where you can see a Folk Punk Band from Japan! Besides enjoying local beer, Irish beer, Whisky, Whiskey, crisps English Langauge Comedy Night, or participate at either pub quizz or music quizz. Update: Sep. 19th 2024 the upcoming weekend marks the 25th anniversary of the pub. There will be performances by The Backyard Sons on Friday The Krusty Moors (Sat), Desmond Kelly and Jamie Clarke's Perfect on Sunday.

There is no food, but you can order delicious food from the Turk next door. Guinness and Irish coffee are delicious. Very authentic, you feel like you are in another world - in Ireland of course. Live music is great and the atmosphere is bombastic! We just love it!

Service legendary. Audience absolutely endearing: you are insulted because mpn is mistaken for someone else, which is quite legitimate, but a cascade of apologies unfolds after you point out that you are not that person. Dominik best man.

Hmm. Well you can always go there, the people are cool. Unfortunately it's self-service... You could call it a cult or you think Wow... You should renovate and dust off a bit here. Pups are rustic, that's okay... But unfortunately dirty isn't an option for me... Great live music. Somehow I'm sorry, the individual rating is therefore worse than the overall impression. Check it out. It's definitely worth it. There is no entry fee and unfortunately Karlsruhe now has little to offer.

Cool place.. specially on weekends with live music.

You have to bring your own food. The store itself is very nice and nicely decorated. It just gets very stuffy very quickly over time. There was a live band playing that evening, but it was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a proper conversation with the group. The drinks were good so far. The only annoying factor is that you can only pay in cash.

Was a great evening. The Krusty Moors played good music and their last song #1more for 2 hours. Everyone had fun, even the bar owner played and sang along. Would highly recommend going on Wednesdays when the band is playing.

Scruffy's Irish Pub in Karlsruhe offers great service, perfectly poured Guinness and an impressive whiskey selection. The pub regularly attracts visitors with daily specials such as Quiz Night on Thursday and Whiskey Wednesday. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, often accompanied by live music. The only disadvantage is the relatively high prices for cider and beer, despite self-service. Nevertheless, definitely recommended for fans of real Irish pubs.

Cozy Irish pub with live events, good selection of drinks, you can easily socialize with people from the area and you can smoke outside the door.

€14 for 1 liter of self-service beer! !?!?!??????!? For what please???? Prices like at the Oktoberfest Except that there (in the beer tent) the tables are clean, the service brings the drinks and the music is more professional. Unfortunately that was the last time yesterday, even though the pub was actually quite nice and original!

Cannot recommend Scruffy's enough! A PROPER pub, with the atmosphere of one, and very much music-driven which is refreshing. Proper Guinness, fantastic whiskey/whisky selection. Sessions on Wednesday and Sunday, live gigs on Friday and Saturday. The publican and bartender are great fun too. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Scruffy’s is the last of the genuine Irish pubs, not turned into a mainstream restaurant. Go here for your classic Irish pub vibes with live music, proper Guiness and Kilkenny beers, dice games and funny/friendly staff. Anytime family or friends visits this place is on our list of where we gotta go :)

It was supposed to be open until 3:00 and we were told shortly after 1 that it was already closed without any real explanation

Scruffys is Irish but with its own style. Maybe it might be a bit too dark or rustic for some people. But the people who go there (and the store is always full) like it just that way. The live music is always good too. It's worth a visit! Just try it out.

The beer is good, the atmosphere is ok, the service couldn't be worse, the guys at the bar are disgusting, especially the guy with the backward cap and chain, he's the only reason I don't want to come here. Been there 10 times, nothing changes in service. He also reproached me for speaking English, and being in Germany I don’t know German. In short, damn.

Live-Musik war an diesem Abend nicht ganz nach meinem Geschmack, allerdings gut gespielt worden. Getränke wie immer gut, Service aufgrund des hohen Besuchs bisschen überfordert. Ein klassischer, gute Pub.

Lustige irish Bar mit authentischem Flair, gute alte deutsch- irische Kneipe, dunkle eiche rustikal, viele Nischen für gruppen, für alteingesessene Stammgäste, Studenten und Touristen. riesige Auswahl an Whisky und gute Biers. Manchmal Live Musik. Besuch ist zu empfehlen. Preise sind moderat.

Service an der Bar wie in Irland üblich 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Leider gibt‘s keine Speisen, hätte zu gern Fish and Chips zum gezapften Guinness gehabt. man kann sich aber essen mitbringen laut Barchef (Döner nebenan, z. B.)Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

I can't tell about the food, but the service is great and the atmosphere also.

Ich habe schon in Köln und Stuttgart gewohnt aber nirgends hab ich ein Pub gefunden, dass es mit dem Scruffys aufnehmen könnte. Gemütlich, urig und mit regelmäßiger Livemusik. Ein Pub mit Seele und Charakter. Ein authentischer Charme wie man ihn nur sehr selten findet.

Sehr angenehme Location, zum ausklingen lassen des Tages was trinken, sich mit Freunden unterhalten, einfach nur super. Live Musik wird auch immer wieder geboten. Feeling, als wäre man in Irland. Komme gerne hierher, sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Scruffy's ist ein Ort an dem ich schon viele wertvolle Stunden verbracht habe. Am Liebsten bin ich am Dienstag dort. Wie am Mittwoch (Irische Musik) und am Wochenende gibt es Dienstags Open Stage Live Musik. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und spricht neben deutsch auch englisch. Die Getränke sind zwar nicht günstig, dafür bekommt man aber große Gläser und es schmeckt hervorragend. Ich kann diesen Pub jedem, der auf urige Irische Kneipen steht, wärmstens empfehlen.
