Schweizer`s Kitchen in Taufkirchen

The restaurant is beautifully and minimalistically decorated. According to the information on the website, I was expecting a varied menu. What was disappointing, however, was that there were only four options. Due to the location it would have been time consuming to look for another restaurant. I wasn't impressed with the burger, the sauce masked all the flavors. I don't think I would prefer it for eating, maybe for a coffee or a walk. Payment only by card... :( The service is good, the staff polite

Today we felt sick several times when we looked into the kitchen. The chef grabbed a few times with his hands on the plates that were actually already on the counter for guests to pick up. The fries were transferred from one plate to another using fingers. After some back and forth the sticks came? turn, again taken from the plate with the fingers, which were then passed into the hand of another cook. He pressed it and they both put it back on the plates. The whole thing was repeated several times. In between, someone ate with their hands and grabbed the plate again, unbelievable, without washing their hands. We looked at each other in shock at the table and decided to leave. No more JS vouchers, vouchers will be redeemed somehow if necessary and that's it. We've been there many times before, but today it was way beyond that. The high prices leave you speechless anyway, the staff can sometimes be really rude, if you cheer them up a bit, it's fine. As a guest, I don't want to have to play entertainer for the waiters and I don't want to see anything like that in the kitchen. If I want to go gourmet, then please go all the way.

The food was good, but could have used a bit of fine-tuning. Asparagus in the risotto, almost raw and bland in taste, mussels very good, unfortunately without a baguette. But it was given later upon request and the service staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The espresso tasted great! One request: adjust the door differently so that it doesn't close with a loud crash. Very unpleasant! 🙏

Very disappointing development at Schweizer's Kitchen Unfortunately, Schweizer's Kitchen has gone from a popular lunch spot to a huge disappointment. As a long-time guest, I am shocked by the negative changes since February: 1. **Price increase**: The fair lunch menu for 10-15€ (main course, drink, ice cream) has been abolished. Instead, individual main courses now cost as much as the entire menu used to cost[1]. 2. **Empty tables**: Where it was difficult to get a table in January, the restaurant is now almost always empty. Apparently many regular guests were driven away[1]. 3. **Bad service**: Long waiting times when ordering and paying. The suggestion to introduce an app for orders was ignored[1]. 4. **No cash payments**: Abolishing cash payments is customer-unfriendly[1]. 5. **Lack of communication**: Emails with criticism and suggestions for improvement remain unanswered[1]. It is unfortunate to see how a once well-functioning concept has been ruined by poor management. The combination of higher prices, worse service and lack of responsiveness to customer feedback has made Schweizer's Kitchen a place I can no longer recommend. It remains to be hoped that management will take the criticism seriously and return to the successful old concept or introduce a new, innovative concept before it is too late. By the way, the waiters try to save it, but it doesn't work very well. And I may have to explain that the concept for a week was that you had to get your own food, that was put back, but that means the advantages of self-service (saving time, for example) are gone

Unfortunately there was very little after 12:30 p.m. There was no dessert at all, apart from fruit skewers. The quality of the food was good, but it was gone quickly and there was little or nothing left. Plates and glasses were quickly gone and you had to wait longer and longer for something to arrive. Overall, the calculation was too tight and unfortunately disappointing for the price.

My son joined the beginner's indoor surfing. He enjoyed it very much, but some might not so happy. We had watched the surf course about an hour and realised that there're 3 trainer and one of them wasn't so friendly and always chewing gum. He didn't explain much how to make a balance on the board. The participant who he took care were not so good at standing on the board unfortunately. The other 2 trainer were more ensusiasticly explained.

Hatten wieder ein super leckeres Mittagsmenü (mit Strohschweinebraten , 2 Knödel und Krautsalat) gegessen... Leider war nur eine Bedienung da, die sehr gefordert war, da es Mittags doch immer voll ist. So mussten wir 30 Min. warten, bis wir zahlen konnten. Sie tat uns leid. Bis vor kurzem, waren noch mehr Bedienungen zur Verfügung.

Unfortunately, the food and service are very bad, the employees didn't feel like doing anything, you didn't even get a napkin, the food was already ready but it was there when it was served because no one wanted to pick it up because the entire service staff had just eaten themselves and no one felt responsible. Only after request was it brought before it got even colder. Very unfortunate.

The arena is very well maintained and properly equipped. The food selection is very diverse and also fairly priced. The surfing facility and flying is just cool and the instructors are friendly and competent.

Schlechter Service. Keine Frage während des Essens ob noch Getränke benötigt werden. Die Getränke wurden nicht zu jedem am Anfang hingestellt, sondern zu der Person die an nahst en zum Kellner saß. Das Gleiche beim Essen. Dies wurde über die vordere Person drüber gereicht.

Leider fällt meine Bewertung gemischt aus. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend – geschmacklich top, frisch zubereitet und definitiv 5 Sterne wert. Allerdings ließ der Service stark zu wünschen übrig. Wir mussten über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten, und trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage wurden uns keine Getränke gebracht. Die Bedienung war unaufmerksam und wenig engagiert, was die gesamte Erfahrung getrübt hat. Fazit: Für das Essen würde ich gerne wiederkommen, aber der Service muss sich dringend verbessern. . Keine Getränke bekommen auf das Essen fast 1 Std gewartet. Das Restaurant war leer bzw fast. Es kam niemand um zu fragen ob was fehlt oder ob mann was möchte z.b noch ein Getränk

Kein Servicepersonal für unseren Tisch zuständig gewesen und keiner hat sich für einen guten Service interessiert. Hatten eine lange Wartezeit , trotz wenig besuchter Zeit. Lange Wartezeiten beim Menukarte, Getränke , Hauptmahlzeiten und Espresso. Waren zu viert dort, die ersten zwei Speisen kamen nach circa 35 Minuten, die anderen beiden 10 Minuten später. Burger trocken , Nudeln zu labberig. Können wir nicht weiterempfehlen

Ich bin mittlerweile Stammgast beim Mittagstisch und immer wieder begeistert von der Qualität und der Optik des Essens und dem immer freundlichen Service.

Wieder mal eine entspannte Mittagspause in SCHWEITZER's KITCHEN. Es gab für mich die klassische Currywurst (Bockwurst mit ganz zartem Saitling) mit reichlich gut gewürzter Soße und super knusprigen Pommes Frites. Meine Begleitung hatte den mega saftigen Lachs mit krosser Haut auf Wildkräutersalat mit Kapernäpfeln. Beide Portionen schnell auf dem Tisch und wirklich großzügig bemessen! Auch der Service war wieder sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Man merkt auch, dass man bei SCHWEITZER auf die Mitarbeiter der ringsum ansässigen Firmen eingestellt ist und schafft es daher sehr gut hier in der Mittagspause entspannt zu essen und trotzdem wieder pünktlich am Arbeitsplatz zu sein. Vielen Dank ans ganze Team: ihr macht echt einen tollen Job!

The restaurant obviously wants to appear high class. Unfortunately, that doesn't correspond to reality. The food was okay. Overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired: it took a very long time to be served; you had to point out everything to the waiter (no one had the idea to clear up); the mood didn't seem good. All in all, one had the impression that the staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of people.

The website raised great expectations that were absolutely not met. We went there for dinner as a family with a small child. It was only MODERATELY attended. Since no one welcomed us, we chose a place ourselves. When we were already seated, one of the service staff asked us if we had reserved. When we explained that we were there spontaneously, he behaved so strangely that we had to figure out for ourselves what was wrong. When we asked whether we should change places, he didn't suggest anything but just said that we should look for something else. Still confused, we asked if the current spot was taken. He said no and we could stay in the chosen place. To this day I don't know what that was about. The service continued the same way. Our child's food came 20 minutes before ours. Accordingly, the child ate alone and was finished before ours even arrived. Our food was rather cold and was definitely not good value for money. If the quality is to be maintained, the price must come down. We have had similar dishes for better prices. We didn't get any cutlery or napkins. My husband picked this up at the counter himself. When we wanted to take the rest of the children's meal with us, I had the box pointedly placed on the table and had to fill it up myself. All in all, only the service employee who brought the children's meal deserves a star. Whether we'll come back is anyone's guess. Very unfortunate.

Gleich zu Anfang sehr freundlicher Empfang. Sehr schneller Service und was soll ich sagen...das Essen beim Mittagslunch ist einfach immer ganz wunderbar. Geschmacklich wie auch in der Präsentation.

Speisekarten haben nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Angebot übereingestimmt. Bedienung war sichtlich genervt davon. Wartezeiten bei spärlich besuchtem Restaurant deutlich zu hoch. Die Tische wurden zum Teil nicht abgeräumt. Schönes Ambiente allerdings sehr schmutzig.

We were completely amazed by this great location... we wouldn't have expected that next to the Flying Fox and the surfing wave in the Jochen Schweizer Arena... great ambience, great furnishings and excellent food, which was really tasty and well prepared... we would love to come back

Immer sehr gut organisiert und sehr freundlichem Service. Dass Essen schmeckte mit bislang immer ganz vorzüglich. 1 Getränke sowie ein Nachtisch odet Espresso inklusive. Deshalb ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnid.

Great location, we attended the health day as an exhibitor this weekend and there were also our guests on site. Everyone was enthusiastic about the presentations, the ambience, the speakers and the food. Great trip. Very, very nice and attentive staff. Especially at the reception desk. Flight instructors were great! They were great with my 6 year old (was his birthday present). The food afterwards, just to the point. Super! The service is exceptional! I can't stop raving about it. However, the whole thing costs a bit of money, especially as a family! Because it doesn't stop with one flight or it doesn't make any sense. Because the learning effect only comes from the second flight!

Es ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant und auch die Bedienung wirkt sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und auch das Steak war sehr gut. 👍 Allerdings war die Kräuterbutter mehr als gedacht und es hat etwas gedauert bis das Essen kam.

Es hat alles gut geklappt. Der Service war freundlich und das Essen lecker. Wir hatten Glück, es war nicht allzu viel los, daher war es nicht zu laut.

Unfortunately, the lunch menu has suddenly become significantly more expensive, but still mostly sets standards. Most of the time this means that things can sometimes turn out to be unexpectedly banal, unfortunately :-( The staff mostly deserve high praise!

Very modern design. The support is great, both when it comes to body flying and surfing. Everyone is super nice and open, which makes the Jochen Schweizer Arena a very positive experience that is definitely worth it. As a highlight, Jochen Schweizer was even present in person, a real highlight that I can only recommend.

We booked a flight in the wind column for our daughter (12 years old). The staff seemed competent so I didn't have to worry about my daughter's safety. Unfortunately, communication was a bit difficult because the trainer couldn't speak German. But other passengers helped. We can't rate the food but there were small snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). She was very happy in the end and that is the most important thing for me.

Michaela was amazing coach! I look forward bringing my kids to her class. She was very much involved, supportive and gentle!

We had a company outing at the Jochen Schweizer Arena. All the employees were enthusiastic about the experiences and the ambience. I can recommend the arena with a clear conscience.

Das waren wohl die besten zartesten Baby-Calamari frittiert die ich je hatte. Und ich hatte schon einige in meinem Leben. Vom Empfang bis zum Service alles Top. Zufällig saß Jochen Schweizer persönlich am Tisch neben mir, mit 2 anderen Personen. Ich hätte ihm gerne gesagt wie beeindruckend ich ihn finde und warum, wollte aber nicht stören und auch nicht seine Privatsphäre verletzen. Wahrscheinlich hätte ich dann auch noch ein gemeinsames Foto mit ihm gewollt. Fazit: Ich kann die Gastronomie nur weiterempfehlen. Danach war ich noch etwas den Surfern zusehen und bin glücklich satt und zufrieden abgezogen.

Ich war mittags da und hatte den Backfisch mit Kartoffelsalat. Außen knusprig, innen saftig. Genau so muss es sein. Happy danach.

Leider kurzfristig deutlich teurer geworden, aber das Essen setzt zumeist Maßstäbe.

From check in to body flying to the food, everything was top notch. Very friendly and patient staff. It was really great. Food very good value for money. An absolutely successful day.

We've been there many times. But the mood now is BOTTOM DRAWER!!!! I was greeted by a chef who came to our table with the words "Do you think I'm giving Jochen away his money!" in a tone that I've never experienced before. Since the steak I ordered at 8:55 p.m. wasn't even 100g, which had always been larger beforehand. The kitchen loudly shouted at the waitress (Birgit, who is the only one who always has the arena under control)) in an inappropriate tone (now she ordered another 100g steak and was banging things around ) was addressed.The two ladies (obviously work in the house) at the 1 table just shook their heads.Such a tone towards guests and service is not possible.!!!Because we are looking for good service people and Birgit has been there since the beginning.We If you have personally booked for our events, then we know that it works.

Great lunch menu that I have eaten three to four times a week so far. Unfortunately the price has been increased by 50%, I'm now spending my lunch break elsewhere.

Essen war heute wieder sehr lecker...leider werden die Preise ab August für das Mittagslunch um 50% angehoben, dann wird es leider in Zukunft kein Superangebotspreis für Mittagsmenü sein, dann kann man auch eine andere Lokalität wählen, mit vergleichbaren Preisen. Schade...waren immer sehr zufrieden.

Been here in Schweizers Kitchen for years and always charming, sweet, and sunny - saved my evening today: Actually, after an extremely bad experience with the "Managers on Duty" on January 14th, 2023, I never wanted to eat in Schweizer's Kitchen again (even though I still surf regularly in the Jochen Schweizer Arena and the boys and girls from the wave always do are really sweet.) Today, however, I was forced to do so because first my car failed me and then the towing service made me wait. At first there was some dismay at the fact that when ordering via the app, the navigation scrolled out of the screen and the descriptions of the dishes were not fully displayed even on the large Galaxy Fold screen, but especially that you were supposed to tip before you could even enjoy the service ... But then Birgit came and with her nice, charming and attentive manner, she turned sadness into a smile. Dear Jochen Schweizer Management, the woman is a constant ray of sunshine in your company and knows how to (re)win and retain customers. If you ever need to fill a management position again, don't even think about filling it externally in the dry gastro service market. You have a real dyed-in-the-wool professional in your ranks.

I come here regularly for business lunch. Price performance is great, the staff is nice and the food is always good. There are two dishes to choose from (one vegetarian), so far there has always been something for me. A clear recommendation for me.

Ich war mittags mit Geschäftspartnern zum Essen verabredet. Lokal war nicht sehr voll. 15 Minuten gewartet um überhaupt Speisekarte auf Nachfragen zu bekommen. Obwohl Service ständig an uns vorbei lief. Weitere 10 Minuten um Bestellung aufzugeben, wieder auf Nachfragen. Eine Kollegin von unserer eigentlichen Bedienung hat dann übernommen und sich bei uns auch noch übers eigene Team beschwert. Weitere 15 Minuten bis Essen kam. Fettiges Fleisch (Gullasch) und lieblos hergerichtet. Getränke kamen erst während dem Essen! Bezahlung auch erst nach 3maligen Bitten! War ziemlich enttäuscht und verärgert, da ich meinen Kollegen mit "Jochen Schweizer" eigentlich was Gutes bieten wollte. Ich war vorher schon öfter dort. Da war es immer gut. Aber dieses Mal von Anfang bis Ende ein Reinfall.

Food was great. Our daughter was allowed to try out surfing for half an hour. The teachers are great. After a quarter of an hour she was already traveling alone on the wave.

Eine Zusätzlich Mittagsbedienung wäre nicht schlecht um die Wartezeiten zu reduzieren. Bsp. Zwei nehmen Bestellungen auf und räumen ab. 3. Bedienung kassiert nur ab und räumt ab wenn sie Zeit hat.

Sehr Lecker, besonders die Bowl und die Tom Kha Gai Suppe. Allerdings ist die Suppe etwas klein…

The meat wasn't very seasoned, but the broth and noodles were delicious.

The anticipation was great, the disappointment even greater. My partner was repeatedly addressed as “sweetie” and “dear” while ordering. I wasn't asked about the doneness of the roast beef when I ordered. Not even the kitchen staff noticed that there was no comment on the cooking level. I finally brought this to the attention of the staff. From my point of view, there was no grill pattern from the "Josper Grill" visible on the steak (see photo). The “red juice” had dried. So that we could eat together at the same time, we had to wait a long time for the second meal (wok). Then the cutlery was missing. In order not to be further disappointed, we skipped the dessert (ice cream in a paper cup). It's a shame about the €125.

I've been here now and then for lunch snacks. Here we had a candlelight dinner voucher and chose Schweitzers Kitchen... it was a while back but we weren't disappointed! The ambience is appealing and you don't really realize that you're eating in a sporting event arena. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared for us. The service was a little messed up but always friendly and helpful if you needed something; which, by the way, is called with the table LED by tapping to change the color. Nice gimmick. Despite there being no fewer guests, the noise level was pleasantly quiet and we had a lovely evening.

Wir waren bisher immer zum Mittagsmenue. Es war immer sehr schmackhaft und das Personal super

Am Anfang haben wir 5 Minuten warten müssen, bis uns jemand unseren Tisch zuweist. Trotz Mitteilung bei der Bestellung, dass wir mit einem Rollstuhlfahrer kommen, wurde uns zuerst ein hoher Tisch zugewiesen - da hatten wir Glück, dass noch ein anderer Tisch frei war. Die Bedienung war völlig überlastet, die Aufnahme der Bestellung hat 20 Minuten gedauert. Getränke wurden mit dem Tablett auf den Tisch geschoben, mit der Bitte es selbst zu verteilen. Das Essen war gut, jedoch kamen die Beilagen teils erst nach Aufforderung - da war das Hauptgericht schon lange da. Die bestellten Steaks kamen leider auf einem kaltem Teller, was zur Folge hatte, dass die Steaks zum Ende hin kalt waren (auch dem Warten auf die Beilagen geschuldet). Letztendlich muss man sagen, dass - zumindest am Samstag - das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht gepasst hat.

Hallo, das Essen war super Lecker 5 Sterne Wir hatten einen Geburtstagstisch Reserviert, leider hat Ihr Serviceangestellter unseren Namen nicht zuordnen können so das wir von Ihm nur einen Standardtisch bekommen haben und leider nicht den Reservierten Geburtstagstisch. Das war schade und hat die Stimmung gedrückt

We went to brunch at the JSArena today and it was super good! We felt very comfortable with our children 11 and 2, even though every seat was noticeably occupied. We didn't have to queue anywhere and the food was consistently excellent! The staff, especially our service employee EMAM (I hope so) was in a really good mood and did a great job! Between all the snacking phases, we would always go for a spin and watch body flying or watch the surfers. By the way, there is also a playground. Directly and securely at the back with direct access from the restaurant. Excellent!

Obwohl sehr viel los war, blieb die Bedienung jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Essen war (wie jedes Mal) top!

Wir waren zu fünft, haben alle WOK Gerichte bestellt. So richtig geschmeckt hat es keinem. Viel zu viel Gemüse auf allen Tellern, vor allem Gemüsesorten die nicht unbedingt asiatisch angehaucht sind. Dazu noch die gesunden Bio Limonaden, die auch kein Mensch braucht weil sie einfach nicht schmecken. So richtig weiter empfehlen kann ich Schweizers Kitchen nicht.

Nous aimons bien ce lieu et avons réservé pour 19:00h une table pour 6. La commande a été prise tard après notre arrivée, nous avions l'impression qu'il y avait un problème entre le personnel de service. Nous avons attendu plus d'une heure pour avoir l'entrée et les plats sont arrivés ensuite. Au moment où nous voulions commander les desserts, il nous a été dit que la cuisine a fermé (sans nous informer au préalable) et un petit dessert de la cuisine nous a été offert. Très gentil mais nous aurions aimé terminer le repas avec un dessert que nous souhaitions. De manière générale, le service n'a pas fonctionné comme il le fallait... vraiment dommage. Sinon le repas était bon et le lieu était très agréable.

Wir waren letztens hier zum Sonntagsbrunch, jetzt zum zweiten Mal. Der Brunch findet jeden ersten Sonntag im Monat statt und eine Reservierung ist mindestens einen Monat im Voraus nötig. Der erste Besuch war noch gut, aber ich verstehe nicht wieso der Gutschein in ausgedruckter Form nötig war. Musste dann extra über den Empfang per Email geschickt und ausgedruckt werden, dafür dass der Kellner den Wisch dann wegwirft. Besuch Nummer 2 war nicht so toll und auch der Letzte für uns. Das Essen war okay, es gab auch einiges an Auswahl, obwohl ich mir für inzwischen 34 Euro plus Getränke extra mehr erwarten würde. Unterirdisch war leider der Service. Es wurden offenbar zu viele Reservierungen angenommen, sodass es gesteckt voll war und der Kellner, wenn auch bemüht, kaum wusste wo er uns unterbringen soll. Am Ende mussten wir an einem 6er Tisch zwischen zwei anderen Paaren Platz nehmen, was nicht so schön war. Das Personal war leider total unterbesetzt und überfordert. Erst nach über 30min bekamen wir Getränke, Kaffee folgte noch später. Auch für Folgebestellungen und die Rechnung war kaum jemand greifbar. Andere Bedienungen machten leider gar nichts da sie für den Bereich nicht zuständig schienen. Meine Empfehlung ans Haus: Weniger Reservierungen annehmen oder mehr Tische aufstellen und dazu ausreichend Personal einsetzen. Dann wird es auch ein gemütlicher Brunch für alle.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder hierhin zum Essen und Zusehen.

Gutes Essen, netter Service, schönes Ambiente. Verhältnis Preis/Qualität im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz noch im akzeptablen Bereich.
