Schützenhaus Steinitz in Salzwedel

I can only recommend this place. The food is very tasty and the portions are also very large. The service is very nice and also accepts special requests. The ambience is very nice there and you feel comfortable. The prices are also great there.

Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed, we waited a whopping 75 minutes for our food... We were not offered anything else during this waiting time! When asked, they said, well, there was a larger group there ;-( the food was over-seasoned, the fries were burnt and there were different side dishes than advertised.... The catering team didn't make any effort to change this.... It's a real shame and therefore absolutely underground

We have already tested many products and have not been disappointed so far, whether pizza, baguettes, pasta or even salad, everything is delicious, we have always picked up the food and taken it home with us

Strong kitchen smells in the dining room. Ambiance could do with an overhaul. Based on the previous posts, it seems to me that the service depends on the mood or changes depending on the day. I thought it was ok for us. Food was good but since all dishes had similar prices, the portions were different. The Poseidon plate is often mentioned for a reason (very good portion). Liver plate...three fairly thin slices with onions and a few fries and a scoop of rice...what a shame.

We ate there because the sushi shop next door was closed. An Indian one Restaurant which also offers pasta and pizza. (Interesting?) we had buffet and a pizza. Unfortunately the food didn't remind me of India. Signage for the buffet was unclear. Some of the food was cold, a lot of it was fried... The pizza was okay. The pizza bread was actually very good. Price extremely cheap..
