It was my first time there even though I've lived nearby for a long time. The service was a bit uncoordinated but tried hard and friendly. The selection of drinks is ok, we only received a drinks menu when we ordered the drinks when we asked. The selection of schnitzel dishes is really large. Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 schnitzels were simply fried for far too long and therefore far too dry. Something like that shouldn't actually happen in a restaurant with that name. The fries and the remaining side dishes were ok. The furnishings and ambience are also getting quite old. Overall, a repeat is very unlikely. Too bad

We love eating here when we are in the area. There is of course plenty of choice, and you can actually find alternatives even if you're slightly hungry or vegetarian. There is a children's menu that doesn't just include nuggets. Mashed potatoes and peas are very popular with our children. You should definitely book a table as it is usually full. Like everywhere else, there is a lack of staff here, so there will be new opening hours from September. Saturday is then only open until 4 p.m., Sunday not at all. That's really a shame. The portions are large and very filling. Whatever you don't manage to do, you take home with you packed up. Afterwards we usually watch a few gliders, helicopters or paragliders land or take off, there is always something for the children 😁

On May 19, 2024 we visited the Schnitzel Tower based on recommendations. Since we were having a celebration, we reserved a table in advance. We received extremely friendly service on the phone and, despite our last-minute decision, a solution was found for us. When we arrived at the Schnitzel Tower, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The location is attractively designed and decorated with interesting models, which created a cozy atmosphere. The waiting time to order was surprisingly short, and the needs of the little guests were immediately taken care of by bringing them a special children's menu. The selection of schnitzel dishes is impressively large, so there is something for everyone. The waiting time for the food was also quite short. All dishes were tasty and the portion sizes were appropriate, even if the schnitzel could have been twice as big for my taste. For dessert there was ice cream, which also tasted good. When it comes to prices, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they find them reasonable. We found the price-performance ratio absolutely fine. We really enjoyed the visit and would definitely come back. Definitely worth a visit. The only downside is the parking situation, as there are only a few parking spaces available. However, if you arrive early you shouldn't have any problems.

Starting with the super friendly service of the waitress to the absolutely recommended schnitzel food, all in all BEST! It was a small family meal and it tasted delicious for both young and old. We had fun and just counted the schnitzel dishes on the menu, we came up with a whopping 45 DIFFERENT DISHES and there are never any seasonal schnitzel dishes. First of all: Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food. We flew all the way to Halle by plane based on great word of mouth. After a nice reception at the airport, we were very euphoric and looked forward to the delicious schnitzel. It was afternoon (4 p.m.) there were 5 guests in the restaurant and 4 guests outside. There was a sign outside the restaurant that said “reservation only.” No, we didn't have a reservation. A nice but assertive waitress made it clear to us that apart from ice cream and drinks, nothing was being sold. Special business model and we have never experienced it at any airport restaurant before. There was also no indication on the homepage that a reservation was mandatory. After we paid for our drink, we passed this tip on to the waitress. She then replied: “We are understaffed today and we don’t look at our website every day.” Afterwards I read the reviews on Google and saw that unfortunately we were not an isolated case. Really a shame as the food looked delicious. It is questionable whether we will try again with a reservation.

A must for all schnitzel lovers! There is something for everyone here! The restaurant is small but therefore also well attended. If you want to eat there you should definitely make a reservation as it is in high demand. If you would like to take a short ride in a small plane afterwards, you can do so at certain times at the airport right next to the restaurant.

We traveled with two planes from 300km to the legendary Schnitzel Tower, which is on everyone's lips. We wanted to feel and taste something so delicious on our own palate! Unfortunately, when we stormed the schnitzel tower after a long flight and an empty stomach, we were very politely but firmly told that you had to order your schnitzel at least a day in advance. No, they don't have the capacity to give us anything else. It was afternoon and the guests were already leaving. Then I asked if you couldn't get "anything". We were denied this. There wasn't even a portion of fries. So now we flew the 300km back with an even empty stomach. I took a picture of myself standing in front of the entrance to the ST, beaming with joy. Unfortunately I neglected to take a selfie of myself 5 minutes later. In any case, Halle-Oppin will never see us again!

Uns gefällt es jedes Mal sehr gut. An Weihnachten wurde etwas geschmückt, für mich ist es aber jedes Mal ein Highlight, die verschiedenen Flugzeuge, die dekorativ angebracht sind, zu sehen. Da wurde sich viel Mühe gegeben. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Schnitzelvariationen ist natürlich nicht zu vergessen. Die Bedienung ist stets aufmerksam und vorallem sehr freundlich.

Eine tolle Gaststätte, die dir eine sehr gute Ablenkung vom Tag gibt. Die Speisekarte hält eine große Auswahl bereit, die Speisen werden Frisch und zügig zubereitet... Leider ist die Gaststätte für Rollstuhlfahrer nur mit Hilfestellung zu befahren. Das gilt vor allem mit Bezug auf die Toiletten.

Wir gehen jährlich am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag mit der ganzen Familie im Tower essen. Die Getränke- und die Essenswünsche werden zügig aufgenommen und man wartet keine 30 Minuten auf sein Essen, das bei der Menge an Personen ist schon wirklich super. Die Schnitzel schmecken immer wunderbar und sind sehr zufriedenstellend, allerdings finde ich, dass andere Gerichte wie Wildgulasch oä. nicht besonders sind. Aber es heißt ja auch Schnitzeltower und die Schnitzelgerichte sind grandios. Leider schmeckten unsere Getränke alle alt. Die Fanta ist keine Fanta, sondern Mirinda. Das wurde beim Bestellen nicht erwähnt. Die Sprite hatte nahezu keine Kohlensäure und war 100%ig keine Sprite sondern ein Billigersatz. Der Wein war ebenso alt und stand wahrscheinlich eine Weile offen. Zum Dessert gab es Eis. Da sind leider auch ein paar Fehler passiert und in einem Milchshake war ein dunkles Haar innerhalb des Glases. Der Milchshake wurde aber anstandslos umgetauscht. Auf den Bildern sehen die Shakes und die Eisschokolade im Vergleich zur Realität etwa so wie die Burger bei McDonalds aus. Quasi das komplette Gegenteil.

Ich persönlich war begeistert. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und passend, angelegt an den daneben gelegenen Flugplatz. Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt. Soll ein Tisch am Wochenende in den Abendstunden reserviert werden, solltet ihr rechtzeitig anrufen. Am besten 1-2 Wochen vorher. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Es sind auch echt Wahnsinns Portionen. Also viel Hunger mit bringen. Ich komme gern wieder und kann es jedem Schnitzelliebhaber empfehlen.

Wir waren auf dem Weg von Magdeburg nach Dresden und wollten mal etwas anderes als Autobahn Höfe ausprobiern. Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant für eine Rast nahe an der A14, sind wir dann im Internet auf diese Lokalität gestoßen. Es brauchte etwa 5 Minuten Zeit und wir mussten einem Rasthof mit Schnitzel im Angebot widerstehen, um den kleinen Flugplatz und den "Schnitzeltower" zu erreichen. Der Parkplatz war gut gefüllt und auch das Restaurant für einen normalen Freitag Mittag gut besucht. Die erste Frage nach der Begrüßung war dann auch ob wir reserviert hatten. Aber wir hatten Glück wurden nett empfangen und an einen freien Tisch für zwei Personen begleitet. Eine Reservierung scheint von Vorteil zu sein. Die Karte war mächtig gewaltig, wir waren echt überrascht über die zahlreichen Schnitzelvarianten. Ich habe mich für das " Schnitzel mit Camembert Scheiben überbacken" entschieden und es war absolut lecker. Das Ganze war dann unter dem berühmten Strich auch noch recht günstig. Für uns ist das Experiment voll aufgegangen und wir werden definitiv auf unserer nächsten Reise gen Süden hier wieder einkehren. PS auch die Wandgestaltung des WC fand ich originell. Da rückt Mann gleich näher an das Ziel.😉🫣
