What can I say? I was pleasantly surprised. The schnitzel house is small but nice. Comfortably furnished and the staff are very friendly. We had a lot of fun with them and laughed a lot. Our food was incredibly delicious. I will definitely come back to try the other things. I would recommend it 100%. Let me put it this way: a different kind of gastronomy experience. Stay the way you are, all of you staff are great. Of course, a huge compliment to the kitchen too.

If schnitzel (pork chop) is what you're looking for, this is the perfect place. There are plenty of variations, so you're sure to find something to inspire you. Even if you're very hungry, think twice about ordering a large pizza-sized portion (a small is plenty). The service is fast and friendly, and the schnitzels are delicious.

A great restaurant. Very friendly staff. The owner (chef) personally came to apologize that he was out of chicken breast, saying I would have been happy with turkey breast. Of course I was. The portions are really large, even the smaller ones. And yet the price is reasonable. There were eight of us, and three of us didn't finish our portions. They packed them up to take away at no extra cost. The owner then came to our table for a chat just before closing time. The Schnitzelhaus is highly recommended.

If you're content with eating large quantities, this is the place for you. All the plates were presented the same. Service was inattentive – we had to ask for cutlery, spices, and lemon separately. A metal bowl of mayo sat directly on top of the schnitzel. Mixed drinks left a lot to be desired.

Schnitzel in many variations. Service was super friendly and fast. Yes, a bit pricey, but worth it. The plates are generously filled. Eight of us ate there, and only one managed to finish his plate. The rest packed it up, and you'll easily be full the next day. It's best to reserve a table in advance, though. For schnitzel lovers...get on with the schnitzel. 😁

Everything's great, but: not accepting card payments these days is simply a disgrace and anything but customer-friendly, no matter how delicious everything is. I'm not looking for an ATM to withdraw €100 so I can pay for dinner for three people! That's simply a no-go these days, and I'll find a different restaurant next time.

We went there for lunch today. It was 30 degrees Celsius, not a breath of wind, and the sun was shining. The waitress refused to open the umbrellas despite asking, saying they would blow away in storms. We didn't understand. Some of the drinks were forgotten and mixed up. After we were completely drenched in sweat while eating, we had our food packed up and left.

A negative impression from the visit: The staff was so busy with important matters that they didn't even bother to attend to the guests who wanted to dine there. No table was offered, and no one inquired about the guests' wishes. Ultimately, we were forced to leave and found a more pleasant and welcoming place for our dinner and the atmosphere.

Very good schnitzel. You can order a large or a very large schnitzel, and the schnitzel pizza is also huge. So if you're really hungry, you can eat here or have it packed. Absolute recommendation – breathtaking value for money! I was completely impressed by the Schnitzelhaus on Domplatz! If you don't get enough here, you're definitely doing something wrong - the portions are huge and every dish is a real treat. Not only is the food convincing, but also the service: the waitresses are super friendly, personable and make the visit an entirely pleasant experience. In addition, there is a beautiful ambience that is perfect for comfortable enjoyment. Full 5 stars and a clear recommendation! I'll definitely be back.

I had grandma's schnitzel roll, it wasn't bad but not really good either. Personally, I was missing some attention to detail. And it was too much, 2 rolls of this size are too much. A little garnish for more flavor...

First of all: "Zum Domblick" is literally: we sat outside and had a very good view of the cathedral. The food was very tasty! And if you're a little surprised at the prices on the menu (26 euros for the Domschnitzel) - the portions are huge (and because huge is different for everyone: the schnitzels are about A4!). So not only tasty, but also good value for money. Especially for Meißen with a view of the cathedral. The schnitzel filled with currywurst was also an eye-catcher. The two waitresses were friendly, communicative and accommodating. Gladly again.

The food was delicious and the portions were huge, you get something for your money here. The conditions were very friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere. Visiting with a dog was no problem and very pleasant. It's definitely worth coming back.

If you love schnitzel, this is the place for you. Even the smaller schnitzel fills the plate and is very tasty! Very friendly landlady, fast and good service. Even without a reservation it was still possible to get a table.

One of the best schnitzels of my life.. 😳 We didn't even know what we were getting ourselves into... initially they thought the prices were slightly higher until the food arrived. They were huge schnitzels! Price-performance is 100% right here! When we asked, we were told that there were approx. 500g per schnitzel! The best thing, however, was that these schnitzels were PERFECT. Tender, crispy breading, great side dishes. None of us had anything to complain about. It was heavenly! Of course we didn't all manage to do everything - our food was packed for free. Apart from the food, the selection of drinks was large and a little different: rhubarb beer, beer punch, mango beer, etc! The service was above average friendly, cheerful and competent. At the end of our visit, the boss/cook came forward and personally asked again if everything was good. He was also immediately likeable! I took a photo of a schnitzel and attached it to the review as an example. Great! 👍🏼

You should go there if you are very hungry.

The schnitzels are really huge - even the "small" portions. I asked how many guests could eat the "normal" schnitzel - the answer was about 5%! The taste of the schnitzel au four was a bit bland for me and the salad served with it (some grated white and red cabbage) wasn't a culinary hit either. I find it anachronistic that card payments are only possible from 50 euros. There is a note hanging on the counter, but it can easily be overlooked. So it was a surprise when paying. When asked about this, the (probably) boss said if she paid less than 50 euros, she would pay extra. I hope that the government actually puts an end to this German peculiarity as planned.

FROM ♥️Thank you!!! just great🤗. It was SPONTANEOUSLY the first time at the Schnitzelhaus zum Domblick, but it won't be the last time to eat there (SO GOOD) AND GET GREAT SERVICE, but then with a reservation 😉. Durch Tripadvisor bin ich auf dieses kleine nette Restaurant gestoßen. Es werden hier sehr ausgefallene Schnitzelvarianten angeboten. Ich hatte einen Schnitzelflammkuchen mediterran belegt. Das war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

We went to the Schnitzelhaus for the first time on Friday and we quickly agreed that we (four men) had rarely eaten such an excellent schnitzel. The price-performance ratio was also right and the service was super friendly and helpful. Anyone visiting Meißen should definitely stop by there. IT'S WORTH IT!! If you like Schnitzel (who doesn't?) this is the place. A large number of variations allows you to find something outside of the regular Schnitzel and potato / salad offerings elsewhere. The food is freshly prepared just for you and quite tasty. The beer is cold and great as well. Be warned that most dishes come in 'small' and 'large'. Stick with small if you want to eat the next day or just pig out if you feel like it :D If you listen, you can hear when another table gets the plates with the large portions. The elated cheers are hard to miss. :-) The lady running the place is super friendly and helpful. Ask questions if you need to. Plan on coming back a few times, just for the variety. As a side note, this place is at the bottom of the climb to the castle, so don't worry, you will use up the calories.

Freundlicher Empfang, angenehmes, nicht „überfrachtetes“ Ambiente. Direkt bei reinkommen springt einen das Schild „Kartenzahlung ab 50€“ an, ich wäre wieder raus gegangen, aber die Begleitung wollte gern Schnitzel. Große Portionen, aber leider eher mittelmäßig, und dann preislich eher gehoben. Sorry, leider nur mittelmaß

We first heard about the Schnitzelhaus from friends who raved about it. We have reserved a table for outside. The service was friendly and the food came relatively quickly. The portions are amazing and the price-performance ratio is really good, and it tastes very tasty. We took the rest with us and ate it again at home.

The portions are very large, which means the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Lots of selection of dishes that also taste great. The only point of criticism: drinks and cocktails could be prepared more lovingly and creatively.
