Absolute recommendation – breathtaking value for money! I was completely impressed by the Schnitzelhaus on Domplatz! If you don't get enough here, you're definitely doing something wrong - the portions are huge and every dish is a real treat. Not only is the food convincing, but also the service: the waitresses are super friendly, personable and make the visit an entirely pleasant experience. In addition, there is a beautiful ambience that is perfect for comfortable enjoyment. Full 5 stars and a clear recommendation! I'll definitely be back.

I had grandma's schnitzel roll, it wasn't bad but not really good either. Personally, I was missing some attention to detail. And it was too much, 2 rolls of this size are too much. A little garnish for more flavor...

Rarely have such good schnitzels been eaten. The entire staff is super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. The boss serves herself and is also super friendly. If it were possible, I would give 6 stars. Thank you for the delicious food and the great service.

First of all: "Zum Domblick" is literally: we sat outside and had a very good view of the cathedral. The food was very tasty! And if you're a little surprised at the prices on the menu (26 euros for the Domschnitzel) - the portions are huge (and because huge is different for everyone: the schnitzels are about A4!). So not only tasty, but also good value for money. Especially for Meißen with a view of the cathedral. The schnitzel filled with currywurst was also an eye-catcher. The two waitresses were friendly, communicative and accommodating. Gladly again.

Large schnitzel eaten with fries and salad, was very tasty but much too big. Price-performance is ok. Staff very friendly.

Were there today, the schnitzels were OK but nothing special. A children's schnitzel with mayo & ketchup, even if you're very hungry. And one of two schnitzel with champion sauce. (Small size) Already very large schnitzels, unfortunately the sauce wasn't really that good. Sorry Nevertheless, I wish you all the best. Lg

The food was delicious and the portions were huge, you get something for your money here. The conditions were very friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere. Visiting with a dog was no problem and very pleasant. It's definitely worth coming back.

If you love schnitzel, this is the place for you. Even the smaller schnitzel fills the plate and is very tasty! Very friendly landlady, fast and good service. Even without a reservation it was still possible to get a table.

One of the best schnitzels of my life.. 😳 We didn't even know what we were getting ourselves into... initially they thought the prices were slightly higher until the food arrived. They were huge schnitzels! Price-performance is 100% right here! When we asked, we were told that there were approx. 500g per schnitzel! The best thing, however, was that these schnitzels were PERFECT. Tender, crispy breading, great side dishes. None of us had anything to complain about. It was heavenly! Of course we didn't all manage to do everything - our food was packed for free. Apart from the food, the selection of drinks was large and a little different: rhubarb beer, beer punch, mango beer, etc! The service was above average friendly, cheerful and competent. At the end of our visit, the boss/cook came forward and personally asked again if everything was good. He was also immediately likeable! I took a photo of a schnitzel and attached it to the review as an example. Great! 👍🏼

You should go there if you are very hungry.

The schnitzels are really huge - even the "small" portions. I asked how many guests could eat the "normal" schnitzel - the answer was about 5%! The taste of the schnitzel au four was a bit bland for me and the salad served with it (some grated white and red cabbage) wasn't a culinary hit either. I find it anachronistic that card payments are only possible from 50 euros. There is a note hanging on the counter, but it can easily be overlooked. So it was a surprise when paying. When asked about this, the (probably) boss said if she paid less than 50 euros, she would pay extra. I hope that the government actually puts an end to this German peculiarity as planned.

Another wonderful evening with the whole family. Sumptuous, very tasty food. The portions are enough for a good 2 meals. A very big thank you to all the kitchen staff and the super nice service staff.

We as guests from the Görlitz district spontaneously had a wonderful afternoon in Meißen yesterday, Great old town, beautiful also the porcelain factory with museum, crowned 👑 This day trip was completed with a super tasty XXXL schnitzel from the SCHNITZELHAUS TO THE CATHEDRAL VIEW 5 STARS + one for the ♥️art😚 All!!! whether chef / restaurant management / conditions ...spontaneously via Google..... searched/found [VERY]Good German cuisine, Surprised by the small Location the ♥️accommodation (probably the boss) + staff Totally thrilled!!!🤗 Being able to get a table upon request without a reservation made it possible for a short time [in the time gap] to take a seat until the next reservation... FROM ♥️Thank you!!! just great🤗. It was SPONTANEOUSLY the first time at the Schnitzelhaus zum Domblick, but it won't be the last time to eat there (SO GOOD) AND GET GREAT SERVICE, but then with a reservation 😉. INFO:FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW YET (like WE🙈😉😀until yesterday)...THE SCHNITZEL IN THE MAP...under large.....ARE THEY REALLY...😲not possible for us... Durch Tripadvisor bin ich auf dieses kleine nette Restaurant gestoßen. Es werden hier sehr ausgefallene Schnitzelvarianten angeboten. Ich hatte einen Schnitzelflammkuchen mediterran belegt. Das war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Nice restaurant with delicious schnitzel variants. ATTENTION: the schnitzels are really huge!!!! But you can have the rest packed and eat it at home later. The staff is super nice ☺ We felt very comfortable. The price-performance ratio is also right 👍 Prior reservation is absolutely necessary!

We went to the Schnitzelhaus for the first time on Friday and we quickly agreed that we (four men) had rarely eaten such an excellent schnitzel. The price-performance ratio was also right and the service was super friendly and helpful. Anyone visiting Meißen should definitely stop by there. IT'S WORTH IT!! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Actually 6 🌟 would be appropriate here! Many thanks to the entire team!

If you like Schnitzel (who doesn't?) this is the place. A large number of variations allows you to find something outside of the regular Schnitzel and potato / salad offerings elsewhere. The food is freshly prepared just for you and quite tasty. The beer is cold and great as well. Be warned that most dishes come in 'small' and 'large'. Stick with small if you want to eat the next day or just pig out if you feel like it :D If you listen, you can hear when another table gets the plates with the large portions. The elated cheers are hard to miss. :-) The lady running the place is super friendly and helpful. Ask questions if you need to. Plan on coming back a few times, just for the variety. As a side note, this place is at the bottom of the climb to the castle, so don't worry, you will use up the calories.

We traveled from Berlin today and ended up at the Schnitzelhaus because of the good reviews. What can I say, the food was great, the portions huge, and the service outstanding!! From the first phone call to the funny conversation with the owners, we felt more than welcome. Anyone who is in Meißen should visit this restaurant. Freundlicher Empfang, angenehmes, nicht „überfrachtetes“ Ambiente. Direkt bei reinkommen springt einen das Schild „Kartenzahlung ab 50€“ an, ich wäre wieder raus gegangen, aber die Begleitung wollte gern Schnitzel. Große Portionen, aber leider eher mittelmäßig, und dann preislich eher gehoben. Sorry, leider nur mittelmaß

We first heard about the Schnitzelhaus from friends who raved about it. We have reserved a table for outside. The service was friendly and the food came relatively quickly. The portions are amazing and the price-performance ratio is really good, and it tastes very tasty. We took the rest with us and ate it again at home.

The portions are very large, which means the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Lots of selection of dishes that also taste great. The only point of criticism: drinks and cocktails could be prepared more lovingly and creatively.

If you like delicious, large schnitzels, you're in good hands here. The service was very courteous and attentive. The Holstein Schnitzel / Cordon Bleu were delicious and highly recommended. If the Schnitzelhaus wasn't so far away, we would definitely come back.

We went to the Schnitzelhaus Zum Domblick for the first time on Sunday. And I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised at how friendly and accommodating the staff can be. You definitely feel very comfortable there. The price-performance ratio in this restaurant is 100%! The portions are huge, but you can take what you can't eat home with you. We will definitely visit this restaurant often and recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much and keep it up!!!

The service is super friendly and likes to have a saying on their lips. (Which makes the whole experience more personal) The food for 4 people came within half an hour. Each of us thought our food was great. Attention: Large portions, so even if you are very hungry, consider whether you really need the large portion (; There were even more dishes on the menu that sounded very tasty, which is why we will definitely visit again! We came here spontaneously today and luckily got a table. The whole team was super nice, the food came quickly and was very tasty. The portions are relatively large, so you should be hungry 😄. In some cases you can choose a cheaper/smaller option. In any case, the price-performance ratio is right.

Nice, small restaurant in Meissen's old town. Friendly service, delicious food and very large schnitzels. It's best to be very hungry. Tip: The schnitzel pizza is also enough for two to three people. The Domblick schnitzel is also recommended. Almost everyone can find something here.

Friendly staff. The size of the portions is the only thing that is really worth it, but the taste is just okay and the sauces are tasteless. The sodas are sparkingless and for the price they charge, i wouldn't expect them to charge for a bit of majo or ketchup.

We recommend. A table was even held free for us at short notice. The food was very great and very very much. Service very friendly and fond of children.

And if the schnitzel was bigger than expected 😂 then you can take the rest with you. Not only do the schnitzels offer a large selection (pork, chicken, veal in many variations) but the selection of drinks is also very good.

The Schnitzelhaus offers different versions of schnitzel, whether currywurst rolled into a schnitzel or the classic Viennese schnitzel. Price-performance: is top, salad was fresh. Portions are very large, so those with small stomachs can have the rest packed away. Service: very friendly and attentive. I would happily recommend the Schnitzelhaus. I will gladly come again.

Super tasty schnitzels! 😋 If it says “big” on the menu, they are big! I'm only halfway through my pulled pork schnitzel. However, you have the option to order a smaller portion. Or you can have it packed up for the next day.

Das Schnitzel Feta ist sehr lecker und wirklich sehr sehr groß. Dass ich mal etwas nicht schaffe, kommt sehr selten vor ;-)
