Schmitt Fred in Schwalbach

We were there with a birthday party (15) people. My wife and I went there for the first time and we don't think we need to do it again. Everyone had food a la carte, which was pretty good overall. Unfortunately, special requests, such as no onions or tomatoes in the salad, were not taken into account. The mushrooms were missing from the steak with mushrooms and had to be reordered. There was no atmosphere because, as the name suggests, “Saalbau” was like sitting in a train station hall. A separation from other tables where several people were present. So there wasn't a good atmosphere because you always had to be careful not to disturb other guests. Unfortunately it wasn't what was expected.

I was there for the first time on November 4th and it was worth it! The food was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, the service was friendly, the price-performance ratio was right and it was very clean!

Old-established restaurant in Schwalbach. Great side room for up to 40 people. Clubs looking for a quiet room for their meetings have come to the right place. Pure pub. Activities: Tuesdays: Skat club from 5 p.m. (guest players are welcome at any time). Training by the local dart club on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. No slot machines. Great restaurant that has been run by the Becker family since 1973. Restaurant "Redoute" one of the last in Schwalbach.
