We've ordered catering for 25 people here several times. The menu selection is fantastic, the ordering process is super easy, delivery is punctual and reliable, and above all, the quality is top-notch. Our guests have been thrilled every time. Please keep up the good work :-)

Ordered 2 burgers to pick up, one was wrong but the taste was good, the second had the burger patty partially burnt

We spontaneously got a great table set for breakfast for a group of 11 people. Price-performance is absolutely top! 👍🏼 We were able to enjoy plenty of good coffee and eat gigantic portions. The service was very warm and helpful!

Delicious breaded schnitzel. Sufficient quantity at reasonable prices. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. It's just a matter of eating and leaving quickly. Kitchen is fast, despite the many orders

"Best Burgers in Town", also much better than the US chains MD and BK. The salads are also great, as is the entire team. Whenever we stop here with our motorhome, the Schlemmer House is a must.

At the Schlemmer-HOUSE we don't just cook - here we serve with heart. And Manfred's heart. Because the dishes taste as if he had personally made them for you: pasta with tender salmon, lovingly seasoned, crepes like from a French short vacation and dessert with the perfect ratio of cream, applesauce and “I need a quick break, this is too good”. You notice: There is no random dish on the menu here – everything has its own signature. If you're looking for honest food, large portions and a touch of culinary soul, this is the place for you. It's best to come hungry - and roll out quietly in love at the end.

We had a buffet delivered for 35 people. We were able to make the selection for the menu in peace at home according to the internet presentation. The order was easy to place via email after a prior phone call. The delivery was on time. The dishes were presented at a good temperature, very appealing, according to our wishes. The preparation and taste were particularly highlighted and praised by all guests. The warming containers were provided and collected together with the dirty dishes the following day. Unfortunately I have to say that the quality and quantity have decreased significantly. There used to be larger portions, but now the portions look like senior citizens' plates. Our last schnitzel was burnt and the fries were too over-fried. That was all better. Maybe that's why the restaurant is almost always empty.

We ordered a turkey on December 24th, 2024 and are super satisfied! The portions were more than enough and the taste was delicious! The dessert (tiramisu) was also a dream! We were “traveling through” today. The Schlemmerhaus was recommended to us and what can we say. The food was great. We were 4 adults and 3 children. Whether burgers, schnitzels, meatloaf or even chicken wings. Everything was very tasty and, above all, freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is impressive. TOP!

So the portions weren't the biggest before, I ate turkey schnitzel, the size of it was really like a children's schnitzel, the price wasn't bad either.

Staff are kidding people, they were there yesterday and ate currywurst with fries. Currywurst with roll €4.50, fries €3.70 makes €8.20. But the dubious lady charged €0.90 extra for rolls...so €9.10 per person...unfortunately I was in the toilet and noticed that too late...I'm not interested in the money, but just Because my partner is a foreigner, to then rip her off and ask for more and, when asked, to argue ridiculously that rolls cost extra is sheer... I find that absolutely shabby and will no longer visit this shop and of course not recommend it to anyone else.. .I've been a regular customer there for over 10 years and unfortunately the current staff has disappointed me several times...this was it for me/us!!!

The burger was very tasty. Instead of the fries, I had the potato and cucumber salad. Unfortunately it was very salty, so I wanted to complain about it. I got the difference of 90 cents back and was offered a portion of fries, which I politely declined because I was already full. I'm writing this review because the gentleman in the open kitchen started complaining about me to his colleague and probably thought I wouldn't hear it. That's not possible, especially since I didn't even become unfriendly, as is usually the case with customers who don't care about something. Very disappointing. Next time wait until the “nagging customers” are gone before you start complaining.

Been there several times, last night again. As always, it was very tasty and reasonably priced. Old, well-known, very friendly staff were also there. I can't complain so far in all these years. Once in May, when I was sitting outside with my family, the conditions were a little overwhelming and, as others felt, I seemed unmotivated. There was a bit of confusion when it came to service and billing at the end. However, for me and for you others, it wasn't serious or bad at all. We were pretty relaxed about it, you saw how stressful and a lot of work there was that day and I helped out myself in the catering industry and know what the staff does and besides, we are all just human. 🙂.I will definitely continue to come.

I commissioned the Schlemmer House to cater my birthday party for around 50 guests and chose the complete program (including delivery and unwashed collection). What can I say, all the guests were full of praise for all the dishes. In addition, the quantity delivered was more than sufficient. I can only recommend the Schlemmer House. Great dishes at a reasonable price-performance ratio. Thank you very much and full 5 stars!!!

Snack right? Restaurant for sitting inside and outside with typical snack dishes of decent quality. Schnitzel, burgers, fries and co. Nothing more but nothing less either.

Always delicious for what feels like centuries. Hamburgers, gourmet schnitzel and salads are particularly recommended.

The food and service was a 10/10. We'll be back.

It's a bit out of the way in a commercial area, but we weren't disappointed with the food! The food came quickly, the steak was medium as ordered, it was highly recommended both in terms of taste and quantity. The pulled pork burgers were also delicious. It was easy to get over the fact that the dessert of the day's special wasn't served (forgotten?). We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

The food is always very good, freshly prepared and everyone is friendly to each other. Sitting outside is also very comfortable. Schnitzel without a fixed address 🤣 (otherwise I will violate the guidelines and my post will be deleted) and salmon with these potatoes are a treat today. Always happy to come back. Always delicious, especially the house-made gourmet sauce... The staff is always friendly and the food doesn't take long... Have been coming here on and off for 12 years and are still satisfied to this day... The taste was okay, but the portion of fries with sauce was very small (served on a small side plate) for EUR 5.50 and didn't fit. In addition, the table outside could have been rubbed down.

The service was good, my red bratwurst had probably been sitting there for a while, was dry and hard, the herb butter steak was good and juicy and the accompanying cold pasta salad didn't go well with it at all, the price wasn't right

First of all, we weren't served or noticed at all. The waiter brought us to the table and let us sit for 20 minutes. When we went in and asked if we would be served and if we would like to look at the menu, the cards came first. The service seemed a bit overwhelming to us, even though there were hardly any guests in and out of the house. We then ordered a starter which was then served with the main course, although we specifically asked and we were expressly told that it was a starter. The calamari rings were more like dry... when the waitress came to the table and served the food, she said "I don't know, but I think it's the cream schnitzel". Makes a rather worse impression on a guest. When we wanted to order a single drink, the waitress went in and as we ran she said "I'll send you to my colleagues straight away, I have no idea how it works on the tablet. Not a problem in itself, but it would be something In other words, the food was okay. Calamari rings weren't good at all.

We have often been to the Schlemmerhouse because of invitations to dinner. The quality of the food is good although the portions have been getting smaller lately. However, the service is an absolute disaster. You order at the checkout and various employees can't manage to bring you the right thing. I had the California Steak and got Hawai Schnitzel. On another visit, I ordered the steak again with croquettes and salad and only the steak came without any side dish, which meant that everyone at the table had already finished eating when mine finally came. But what's even worse is the rudeness and treatment you get as a guest. Absolutely bottom drawer. Especially two younger ladies with buns, one of them with such plump lips, were so rude and cheeky to us even though we only said that our food was wrong and that we had lost our appetite. Even the people at the next table were speechless about this behavior from the employees. Never again Schlemmerhouse!!!!!

Wir waren schon des öfteren im Schlemmerhouse auch aufgrund von Einladungen zum Essen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist gut obwohl die Portionen in letzter Zeit immer weniger werden. Der Service ist allerdings eine absolute Katastrophe. Man bestellt an der Kasse und diverse Mitarbeiter bekommen es nicht hin einem dann das richtige zu bringen. Ich hatte das California Steak und bekam Hawai Schnitzel. Bei einem weitern Besuch, wieder das Steak bestellt mit Kroketten und Salat und es kam nur das Steak ohne Beilage ,was zur Folge hatte das alle am Tisch mit dem Essen schon fertig waren als meines dann endlich kam. Aber was noch schlimmer ist, die Frechheiten und die Behandlung die man dann als Gast zu hören bekommt. Absolut unterste Schublade.Besonders zwei jüngere Damen mit Dutt, eine von ihnen mit solchen aufgespritzten Lippen, waren so unverschämt und frech zu uns obwohl wir nur gesagt haben das unser Essen falsch ist, das uns der Appetit vergangen ist. Selbst die Leute am Nebentisch ware Sprachlos über dieses Verhalten der Mitarbeiterinnen. Nie wieder Schlemmerhouse!!!!!

We met friends for breakfast at the Schlemmerhouse. For us it was the first time - but definitely not the last time. We were served very friendly. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. I had “Hang Over” for €11.90 and was thrilled with the taste and price. RECOMMENDATION!

We at RHC-Rallye e.V. had ordered a buffet for 160 people at the Schlemmer House for our 8th Rhein-Hunsrück Classic. 4 main courses, 2 side dishes, vegetables, salad, starters in glasses, dessert in glasses. Everything perfect. On-time delivery and assembly in Stromberg. Everything was really delicious. and pick up on time the next day. Our participants were also very enthusiastic across the board. We will definitely use the Schlemmer House again next time. Unfortunately we forgot to take pictures of the buffet.

...went to the Schlemmer House again today. Food was good so far, service was ok too - BUT, to be honest - the music playing here is just embarrassing - or even sickening! Only Muslims snot!!! Are there young Muslims sitting here as customers or mostly middle-aged Germans with whom you earn your money! This has nothing to do with style or class! In any case, you have finally lost me as a customer. According to school grades: give me a five - even just because the food was ok!

In the Schlemmerhouse you get good food in decent portions. The price-performance ratio is completely okay. The cuisine is rather good, home-style. The changing weekly menu plan also includes upgraded dishes (unusual salad variations, pulled pork or pork cheeks). The ambience is okay, but after a visit you smell of food and chips. It's nice to sit outside.

Went here based on a recommendation from a friend. Location: just outside in the Gau-Algesheim industrial area between railway tracks and industrial halls. Ambience: snack bar character. Large grill inside, covered seating inside and outside. More functional than comfortable. Service: Employees are all friendly. You can look at the cards at the table, but then you have to order and pay at the counter inside. Food is then brought to the table. Unfortunately we got the wrong food at first. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't really know what to do and didn't know what pulled pork was (at least not meatloaf). After a short back and forth, plates were swapped with a neighboring table. Unfortunately, it is not possible to serve the food to someone else once it has been with another guest for several minutes. Average taste. You probably wouldn't notice any difference to frozen goods. Not particularly good, but not overly bad either. But the price is quite cheap. All in all, unfortunately not in need of repeating.
