Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundlicher Service. Die Atmosphäre ist richtig angenehm und alles war frisch und sauber. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder – klare Empfehlung! 🍽️👌

Ich war zum ersten Mal geschäftlich in Minden und hätte mir keinen besseren Ort für unseren Abend wünschen können. Wir waren eine Gruppe von rund 20 Personen – und das mitten in der Woche! Was das Team vom Scarabeo hier geleistet hat, ist absolut beeindruckend: Trotz der großen Runde war der Service herzlich, flink und super professionell. Dass man uns in geselliger Runde sogar bis 1 Uhr nachts hat weiterverweilen und die Drinks genießen lassen, ist heutzutage ein absolutes Seltenheitswert. Man hat sich zu keiner Sekunde gedrängt gefühlt. Das Ambiente ist einfach klasse, und der Balkon ist für die Raucher unter uns ein echtes Highlight – stilvoll und gemütlich (👌🏼). Kulinarisch war es ebenfalls ein Volltreffer: Die Qualität war durchweg top, und ich habe dort meinen allerersten Espresso Martini getrunken – und ihn lieben gelernt! Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen tollen Abend. Wer in Minden etwas Besonderes sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Getränke und Essen okay jedoch hat der Oberkellner und öfter an statt 2 Euro zurück zugeben und immer 5 Türkische Lira gegeben, was uns erst Zuhause auffiel. Wir waren auf der 80 er Jahre Party

Sehr nettes Ambiente. Sehr gute Speisen. Der Service ist größtenteils professionell. Das Scarabeo wird für mich nicht die erste Adresse für gepflegtes Speisen.

Wir hatten leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung im Scarabeo Minden. Obwohl wir einen Tisch reserviert hatten, wurden wir nach unserer Ankunft von unserem reservierten Platz umgesetzt und mit fremden Personen an einen gemeinsamen Tisch gesetzt – ohne vorherige Absprache. Das war bereits ein unangenehmer Start in den Abend. Nachdem wir unser Essen bestellt hatten, mussten wir ganze zwei Stunden darauf warten. In dieser Zeit haben wir etwa alle 30 Minuten freundlich nachgefragt, wurden jedoch immer wieder vertröstet, ohne eine klare Auskunft oder eine Lösung zu erhalten. Als wir schließlich das Essen abbestellen wollten, weil wir nach dieser extrem langen Wartezeit weder Hunger noch Lust hatten, so spät noch zu essen, kippte die Stimmung komplett. Statt Verständnis oder zumindest einer Entschuldigung wurde uns vom Geschäftsführer wörtlich gesagt: „Dann geht doch nach Hause, wenn euch das nicht passt.“ Wir wurden daraufhin beinahe des Hauses verwiesen – und das in einem sehr unfreundlichen und respektlosen Ton. So ein Umgang mit Gästen ist absolut inakzeptabel. Sehr schade, denn wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Unter diesen Umständen können wir das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Reservierung erforderlich. Nachdem Eingang geht es eine große Treppe hinauf. Am Ende der Treppe wird man sehr freundlich empfangen und zum Tisch geführt. Da wir eine sehr ruhigen Platz angefordert hatten. Haben wir netter Weise um ein anderen Tisch gebeten. Was kein Problem darstellte. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Keiner lange Wartezeiten,trotz volles Haus. Am Nebentisch hatte jemand Geburtstag und dies wurde vom Personal mit einem Gesang und Fontänen gefeiert. Richtig schön gemacht. Es ein wirklich toller Abend,es hat alles gepasst rund um zufrieden. Ein Punkt muss ich leider abziehen. Aufgrund des Preises. Der uns denn doch etwas zu Hoch erschien. Aber das weiß man im Prinzip auch vorher was man sich bestellt und man kann sich drauf einstellen. Ein weiterer Besuch wird Folgen. Gutes Essen und freundlicher Service. Man sollte reservieren.

Nachdem wir schon mehrmals und sehr gern hier gewesen sind, hatten wir heute leider eine Enttäuschung auf der ganzen Linie. Entweder hat zwischenzeitlich die Küche gewechselt, oder irgend etwas anderes läuft schief. Laut Webseite ist zB täglich von 18-19 Uhr Happy Hour, wir kamen um 18.30 an und obwohl wir eigens nachgefragt haben, und ausdrücklich bestätigt wurde, dass Happy Hour für Cocktails ist, stand auf der Rechnung der bestellte Caipirinha mit 9.50 Euro. Was kostet der dann bitte normalerweise? 19 Euro? Wir bestellten als nächstes den Vorspeisenteller für zwei Personen, der stattliche 29,80 Euro kostete und ganz ok war, auch wenn er nicht wie beschrieben mit geröstetem Brot kam. Meine Freundin bestellte einen Tee mit Zitrone und bekam stattdessen eine heiße Zitrone serviert, Kostenpunkt 4,90 Euro, die vermutlich teuerste heiße Zitrone aller Zeiten. Eine große Cola schlug mit 5,10 Euro zu Buche! Beide Hauptgerichte (Tin und Choch) waren sehr salzig und weder geschmacklich noch optisch voneinander zu unterscheiden, so der Servicemitarbeiter sie selbst auch nicht auseinanderhalten konnte, und beide als Tin ankündigte. Chilli und Zwiebeln waren überhaupt keine zu finden. Dafür kam ein mit Fertigdressing malträtierter Beilagensalat dazu, der weder auf der Karte stand, noch extra bestellt worden war. Der tatsächlich bestellte Caesar Salat war dann mit einem rund 30cm langen lockigen und dicken Haar garniert - so etwas hätte ich gern selbst auf dem Kopf, aber nicht bei meinem Mann im Mund, worauf dem Gatten stark der Appetit verging. Dass noch nachgefragt wurde, ob der Salat abgeräumt werden oder bleiben soll, war schon fast wieder etwas niedlich. Mangels Mut zu einem Zweitversuch mit Salat bestellte er dann in seiner Not einen Burger, der geschmacklich ok war und auch nur übliche Deko mitbrachte. Allerdings wurde dieser voll berechnet und für das Haarintermezzo noch nicht einmal ein Digestif oder ein Kaffee auf’s Haus angeboten. Die Pommes waren TK-Ware, das möchte ich in dieser Preisklasse auch nicht haben. Selbst Ketchup wurde nochmal mit 1€ Aufpreis auf die schon stattlichen 18,90 für den Burger mit TK-Pommes berechnet, das ist schon etwas unverfroren. Einziger Lichtblick: Die Servicekraft war und blieb freundlich und bemühte sich obwohl sie offenbar noch nicht viel Erfahrung hatte nach Kräften, den verdorbenen Besuch zu retten. Das wird wohl für die nächste Zeit der letzte Besuch gewesen sein. Ach ja, der Tisch war auch noch kippelig, ich konnte aber mit einem Stück Pappe abhelfen.

Scarabeo – Ein Genuss für die Sinne Das Scarabeo ist schlichtweg ein fantastischer Ort, der mit seiner wunderbaren Atmosphäre begeistert. Hier genieße ich es, inmitten freundlicher Gesichter und einer warmen Umgebung zu speisen. Das Team ist nicht nur überaus freundlich, sondern auch äußerst kompetent. Als DJ erlebe ich regelmäßig, wie das Scarabeo ein beliebter Veranstaltungsort für Hochzeiten und Events ist. Bei der letzten Silvester-Gala 2025/2026 durfte ich die feierlichen Gäste mit einem unvergesslichen Partyerlebnis begeistern. Dank der hervorragenden Vorbereitung und Organisation des Scarabeo-Teams wird jeder Besuch zum unvergesslichen Ereignis! Ich kann das Scarabeo nur wärmstens empfehlen! 👌🏼

Wir waren zum Adventsbrunchen hier und wirklich super begeistert. Es gab eine große Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen und alles war sehr lecker. Auch die Bedienung war super freundlich- gerne wieder.

Waren zum Weihnachtsfest da, 2. Weihnachtstag. Buffet alles drum rum. Für Kinder Ab 3 Jahre wird die Hälfte genommen. Fand ich viel. Der Kellner ist aber aufmerksam und hat gesehen, das nur die erwachsenen vom Buffet gegessen haben, die kleinen hatten nur eine Pommes. Deshalb wurde nicht das Buffet nicht berechnet. Allgemein ist das Buffet nicht so Kinder gerecht. Hier evtl. als Vorschlag: Nuggets oder Pommes anzubieten :) Essen war lecker, habe gedacht das oben, wie unten (rodizio) noch mit Spieße an Weihnachten und Silvester gearbeitet wird. Aber leider nur unten :) Aber trotzdem lecker! Kellner auf Zack! 38€ anstatt 43€ hätten es auch getan :) weil es unten mehr Fleisch gibt als oben.

Ein wundervolles einladendes Ambiente zum Wohlfühlen und genießen. Wir waren spontan an einem Freitag mit vielen Weihnachtsfeiern da und wurden ganz herzlich empfangen. Ein Tisch wurde schnell gesäubert und zurechtgerückt. Erst dachten wir, es würde sehr laut sein aufgrund der Größe des Raumes und der großen Gesellschaften. Aber nein, wir konnten uns gut unterhalten und in Ruhe essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, unsere Essen, ein Crispy Chicken Burger sehr lecker. Das stilvolle Ambiente ist fantastisch. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und können das Restaurant Wärmsteins empfehlen.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Adventsbrunch dort und es war wirklich mehr als nur das Geld wert (28,90 € pro Person). In dem Preis sind warme und kalte Speisen inklusive Wasser/ Saft/ Sekt. Auch die Atmosphäre und der Service waren außerordentlich gut. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen

Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen, wenn nicht sogar der beste Burger weit und breit. Das Ambiente ist modern und sehr ansprechend. Da kommt man gerne wieder!

Das Scarabeo ist wirklich etwas für s Auge, wirklich tolles Ambiente und freundlicher Service. Leider dauerte das Essen sehr lange und war qualitativ in Ordnung, allerdings habe ich da schon deutlich besser gegessen. Auch ist es sehr laut, Unterhaltungen sind im großen Saal schwer möglich. Ein Besuch lohnt sich dennoch.

Insgesamt ist der Laden ansprechend, meiner Meinung nach könnte es etwas wärmer sein das ist aber meckern auf hohen Niveau. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Und das Essen wird sehr schön angerichtet und die Preise sind erschwinglich! Es gibt einen Außenbereich um eine Zigarette rauchen zu können!

Ich war eingeladen auf eine Silberhochzeit. Der Service ließ oft auf sich warten. Das Essen war OK. Stimmung durch DJ war spitze. Liegt ja auch zum Großteil an den Gastgebern. Danke dafür. Alles in Allem: ein gelungener Abend

Very delicious food and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy at times due to a wedding being held next door, but otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves.

I can only recommend the food; it was delicious and good value for money. We had to wait about an hour for the food, so if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for us. What really made me swallow were the drinks; they were really expensive!

I'm very disappointed with this restaurant. They announced a ticket raffle and promised to hold the drawing that evening – but it never happened. To me, this clearly shows how little value they place on their guests. Apparently, they were disappointed that only 27 people participated and decided to simply ignore them. This is not only irresponsible, but also reflects poorly on the entire establishment. It says a lot about the restaurant's attitude towards its guests. Although I used to come here often, I won't be returning after this experience. Very unprofessional – and they've definitely lost a loyal customer.

Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. Ordered: nothing for an hour. When we asked, we were told the food would come "immediately." After 20 minutes, nothing had arrived, so we went home with empty stomachs. The place looks nice, but the tables are so close together that you're almost sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers.

First, the positives: The ambiance and service were really okay to good. We sat on the upper terrace with a lovely view on a balmy summer evening. Actually perfect. If it weren't for the food. There were six of us. Four of us had ordered different pizzas. All of the pizzas were far too short and baked at too low a temperature. Two pizzas were inedible because the dough was soggy and not cooked through at all. When we complained, the server initially suggested they could simply put them back in the oven and bake them again. With toppings like arugula, carpaccio, and fresh tomatoes, that wasn't a good idea. Besides, you can't "save" soggy dough by re-baking. She then took the pizzas back and arranged for us to at least get two new ones. These, however, were extremely tough and even more doughy. In my opinion, they're trying to imitate Neapolitan-style pizza here, but without mastering the proper dough or having an oven that reaches the necessary temperatures of over 450°C. In short: the pizzas, some of which cost over €22, were basically a complete disaster. I think they should have offered to remove at least two of the pizzas from the bill. However, we still had a pleasant evening...simply because we were celebrating a birthday, and because the service was at least attentive and remained friendly throughout. Oh yes, the other two dishes, a burger and pasta with shrimp, were good.

Great ambiance and a good menu. The service was very attentive at first, but ultimately experienced coordination issues, as many tables needed to be served. Nevertheless, table service should not be slacking. The food was good and portions were generous.

After spending a wonderful evening downstairs at the Rodizio, we rounded it off upstairs at the Scarabeo! Thank you for letting us be your guests. Customer service is a life-size part of our culture, and you can feel it! Thank you so much!

Delicious food (we opted for burgers), a lovely ambiance (the balcony terrace is highly recommended in good weather), and the service was admittedly a bit overwhelmed by the large number of guests, resulting in longer waits. However, the beautiful view more than made up for this :).

We were there for a company event with a very large group. I would like to mention the incredibly friendly and attentive service staff; it was truly exceptional. Everything was perfectly organized; we never had to sit with empty glasses. The food (organized for us in buffet style) was also delicious and plentiful; there was no idle time. If you're planning a large celebration, you're definitely in the best hands here. A true asset to Minden has been created here; high praise!

We were at Scarabeo on Sunday evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The welcome was incredibly warm, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. The food was truly delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. We'd love to come back!

If you want to have a particularly nice time, you've come to the right place: it's perfect from A to Z! A very professional, attentive and friendly team. 🤗Super delicious food 🍽️🍹🍹☕😋🤤. A really exceptionally beautiful 🤩 ambience, with a DANCE ROOM (with parquet floors), winter garden, and outdoor terraces that offer a beautiful view of the "swan pond". (Everything is clean, which is not a given today) In addition to the on-site parking spaces, there are many other free parking spaces on "Kanzlers Weide", you just have to briefly cross the Weser over the small "blue bridge" (pedestrian - cyclist bridge). We were visiting again and had a particularly great 🕺🎶💃SALSA evening this evening, 🎶which started after dinner with good MUSIC from a LIVE BAND "Eldorado Groove Orchestra" 🎶 Everyone, including the SALSA DANCERS who had traveled 💃🎶🕺, are still blown away by this successful evening. Even the “non-dancers” guests were carried away by the great atmosphere🥳 and were included!!! This literally calls for a repeat!!! The prices in the restaurant are considerably more expensive than those advertised at the entrance. This obviously misleads the guests. That doesn't work at all.

Great service Celine. Overall ok but ordered mineral water (it's not on the menu) Then got tap water still for 8.60 for 0.75 which in my opinion is ok for mineral water but not for tap water. Ordered rump steak medium and it came well done. Appetizer platter was very, very good and so was the wine.

Impossible, you can't even charge your cell phone and a tablet wasn't even a meter away from me.... No comment!!!

Was there for the first time and I was completely thrilled. Very friendly and attentive service, great ambience and delicious food. As a starter I had the ciabatta with aioli and bruschetta. The main course was the smash burger with curry fries. However, Smashburger is a relatively flexible term. The patty could definitely have been shmashed even thinner. For dessert I had the Panne Cotta with fruit. Overall the food was really excellent. So a clear recommendation.

I expected more. Burrata overpriced for portion size. Burger patty is falling apart, cooking point is okay, caramelized onions are not necessarily caramelized, bacon is still raw. I'm a regular at the Minden restaurant "Scarabeo," located on Tonhallenstraße (first floor). The old cinema by the Swan Pond has been tastefully converted into an event venue. You can enjoy excellent food at "Scarabeo," but you can also have a delicious cocktail mixed in the bar area. No matter what you do, you can have a great time at "Scarabeo." I highly recommend this event venue. 👍👍👍💕💕💕

A special ambiance for a convivial evening The Scarabeo isn't a classic restaurant – the focus here is on ambiance and atmosphere. The location is unique and stands out from typical restaurants. Perfect for spending a relaxed evening with friends and enjoying the special atmosphere with good drinks. The food is good and fits the concept – the value for money is absolutely reasonable given the location. However, if you're looking for a romantic dinner, this is probably not the right place. But if you want to experience a stylish evening with good company and delicious drinks, you should definitely try the Scarabeo! If you'd like any changes, just let me know!

The parking situation is a disaster; there are far too few parking spaces. The ambiance is really nice, and you can also rent it out for weddings, etc., and the staff is great too. We were often asked if we needed anything else and whether we liked the food. Sometimes maybe a little too often, which can be a bit annoying for some, but that's probably just their policy.

We were there for the New Year's Eve party. Almost everything was perfect! We sat in the conservatory. Unfortunately, the music was much too loud. Despite the very friendly service staff's best efforts, they were only able to remedy the situation at short notice. You can still have a party with less loud music. The music makers should take note of that.

Mr. Mike, Minden. I was there with guests on November 18, 2023, and November 18, 2024, to celebrate my birthday. On both evenings, after the sumptuous meal, I was completely surprised to see the entire staff celebrate with disco lights, music, singing, and a cake. These were two unforgettable evenings.

The ambiance at Scarabeo is very nice. However, it's also quite loud if you sit in the large dining room. The service was good. The food was mixed. The appetizer plates were very good (but there was hardly any bread, so we had to ask for more). The main courses varied. The pizza isn't recommended, but the burgers and salmon are tasty. Overall, the food is quite good, but the prices are on the high side. Too expensive for what you get.

Wow! I've never seen such good and friendly service. The food is outstanding. Everything is wonderful! And the location is beautiful, too.

Nice location, nice atmosphere. Just right for a fancy drink. Unfortunately I think the food is very overpriced for the quality. E.g. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken breast, which cost €22. You had to look for the parmesan, 3 cocktail tomatoes and some cucumbers, they don't really belong in there. But the fries are very tasty. I'd be happy to come back, but then more to have a drink.

To celebrate my birthday, we went to Scarabeo on November 21st for a cozy dinner. The welcome, ambiance, and food were once again fantastic. We were there for the third time now and are always thrilled. Today we went there with friends and it tasted excellent. We had starters, main courses and desserts and everything tasted amazing. Everything was lovingly prepared, the service was very attentive and the cocktails in the evening rounded everything off perfectly. We can recommend the Scarabeo with a clear conscience. They have won us over as regular guests. Thanks to the great team.

Very tasty food, cool music with good sound, great show if it's someone's birthday. Very large and super renovated. Toilets very clean and modern. Clear recommendation to go here!!

On October 11th & 12th, 2024 we were at Scarabeo with a group of 8 people. Our friend in the wheelchair was immediately taken around the house to the elevator. We have never experienced such great staff. Everyone was smiling and super friendly. The food was very good and we also really liked the ambience. But the staff there is unbeatable. If you're in Minden and don't go to Scarabeo, it's your own fault.

An all-round carefree package with the best recommendations for the ambience, great service and top food. With 8 people, Spent 2 great evenings there (one of them with live music). The price-performance ratio is absolutely consistent and justified.

Were there yesterday with a larger group of 12 people (we reserved in advance). Very friendly, attentive staff. Food came to everyone at the same time, hot, well prepared and super delicious. Great ambience, despite the large room, the background noise was quiet and pleasant. Price -Performance ratio was completely ok. We'll definitely be back!
