The food was great. The waiter took a long time and was quite rude, drinks were only brought after a long wait and drinks were also forgotten. We had to wait 25 minutes for the bill and asked 4 times and 3 times we were put off while the waiter in the meantime collected the bill from other tables who ordered the bill after us. We also talked nicely to people even though we asked for the bill several times. We said the food was delicious, but if I went there again I wouldn't tell the waiter again.

The food was very tasty and the service was extremely friendly. The interior was comfortable and stylish. I can recommend the dishes mentioned below, if necessary you can get recommendations.

An absolute top restaurant! The Scampino is simply first class! The cuisine offers the highest quality, every dish is prepared with love and is a real pleasure. I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the perfect preparation - the cooking here is at the highest level! Unfortunately not a nice evening. Just got a fish soup. There was a power outage. The cocktail meant nicely but not in a good way. That was my last visit there.

Food was totally dry, fish platter, tuna was a shoe sole😴❗Staff didn't respond to it, it's a shame you don't give something like that out. The staff is unfriendly. I've never eaten something like that before. It's a shame I can never eat better somewhere else again

I've been here several times now over the last few years. The food is always great, the fish and scampi are fresh and well prepared. The scampi pan in oil and garlic is the classic but all the other fish dishes are also very good. I had the swordfish steak yesterday. Highly recommended. The service is attentive and courteous and even though the restaurant was completely full, it was still possible to have a good conversation. Thanks to acoustic ceiling sails.

For me so far the best fish restaurant in Germany. The class of this fish platter cannot be put into words. The fish melts in your mouth like a cloud and you want more and more of it. The prices are higher according to the quality. But this is no reason not to eat here at least once. At the end there was a delicious espresso with a small chocolate cube from Switzerland. 5/5

Ambiente: Das Restaurant ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einer modernen und einladenden Atmosphäre. Essen: Die Speisekarte bietet eine fantastische Auswahl an frischen Fisch- und Meeresfrüchtegerichten. Ich habe ein Fisch aus der Tageskarte und mein Freund das gegrillte Doradenfilet probiert, das perfekt zubereitet war – außen knusprig und innen zart und saftig. Auch die Beilagen, wie das mediterrane Gemüse und die Rosmarinkartoffeln, waren hervorragend. Die Portionen sind großzügig und die Qualität der Zutaten ist bemerkenswert. Service: Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne daufdringlich zu sein. Unsere Kellnerin war sehr hilfsbereit und konnte uns gute Empfehlungen geben. Preis-Leistung: Die Preise sind angemessen für die hohe Qualität der Speisen und des Services. Für ein gehobenes Abendessen mit frischen Zutaten und einer tollen Atmosphäre zahlt man gerne etwas mehr. Fazit: Das Restaurant Scampino ist definitiv einen Besuch wert, wenn man in Köln-Mülheim nach einem herausragenden mediterranen Essen sucht. Wir waren relativ früh um 18:00 Uhr da und würde eine Reservierung empfehlen.

In my opinion the best fish restaurant in town! There is a large selection of different fish and a daily menu that varies from time to time. The absolute hit is the scampi pan, incredibly delicious! In principle, any fish dish is recommended. The different fillets or even whole fish are always perfectly fried. Even if you order the Scampino grill plate with at least four different fillets! Of course, guests who don't want to eat fish are also thought of, but I haven't tried it yet. 😉 The selection of wines is large and there is something of good quality for every taste. If you don't know which wine to choose, you can rely on the service's recommendation. Otherwise the service leaves nothing to be desired, attentive and quick and still always time for a few personal words. For me, a place to feel good all around!

Ladies and Gentlemen Their restaurant is called “Scampino”, based on the “Scampi”, also known as “Kaisergranate”. However, they do not offer scampi. You write "Small shrimp pan with aioli and lemon" on your card, but the customer gets shrimp. You openly admit the deception or rather the fraud by writing in English "Small shrimp pan with aioli sauce and lemon" write. “Shrimp” means “prawn”. They shamelessly exploit the customer's ignorance, who unfortunately doesn't know the difference between scampi, shrimp or gammas. Do you even know the difference between a shrimp and a scampi?

Be careful when reserving online! Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food - we just didn't get anything: There were several tables available for two people on OpenTable (just from the restaurant's website), so we made a reservation and showed up on time. But unfortunately we were told on site (and not particularly friendly) that the kitchen had long been closed. The data posted by the restaurant on OpenTable probably doesn't necessarily have anything to do with reality... Tip: Opposite at Localino, our evening was saved with nice service and good food!

We were there with a good 20 people from the company. The preliminary coordination worked perfectly, as did the selection of a quiet corner in the winter garden. Our group of 12 colleagues enjoyed a lovely dinner here Reservation and ambience: We reserved a week in advance, which was necessary given the popularity of Scampino, even on a Wednesday evening. The location near the Rhine adds to the charm of the restaurant and makes it a nice place for dinner - when the sun is shining, the terrace area is highly recommended. The service: Service was quick and attentive, even if the staff seemed a bit annoyed at times. This small detail did not significantly affect our overall impression. Menu: The Scampino is known for its fish dishes and seafood. The food was excellently prepared and delicious. However, the selection for vegetarians and vegans was quite limited. We spontaneously went to Scampino during a visit to Cologne - and had a wonderful evening! Charming and humorous service. Oysters, spaghetti with shrimps and tiramisu. Plus a great wine recommendation. Everything was really delicious. We felt very comfortable, were pleasantly surprised to discover such a good fish restaurant in Cologne and would definitely recommend a visit to Scampino.

We ate there for the third time today and we were thrilled again. The food is very tasty, the staff is friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed the evening on the terrace.

We have been coming to you for years now. It's always a pleasure! I don't normally eat fish in Germany, but you'll let us sink into dreams with the fish plate for two people. I also ate at your place during my pregnancy and the service always surpassed itself. Everything is explained well and the waiters know what they are talking about. Also big compliments to the kitchen. Not only does the food taste great, but the service is also great. Since I don't eat white wine sauce during my pregnancy, a sauce was made especially for me!! We always order the large scampi pan as a starter. We always look forward to them! The ambience is beautiful. The winter garden in particular is an eye-catcher. New chairs and tables were also placed indoors. Super classy and cozy! In our opinion, you are the best fish restaurant we have visited in Germany so far! Always happy! And once again a big compliment to the friendly and courteous service! It doesn't get any better

The food was really very tasty. We had the large scampi pan and the Norwegian salmon fillet. Both were excellently prepared. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy. The service was very friendly and attentive. And the location directly on the Rhine is of course also a plus point. I will definitely visit Scampino again.

Wir hatten als Vorspeise eine scampi Pfanne die gut war. Danach eine gemischte Fischplatte für 2 Personen . Diese hätte schmackhafter sein dürfen . So gut wie keine Gewürze und die Soße war ziemlich klebrig ( fast wie aus der Tüte ) ich habe hier schon bedeutend besser gegessen Das Personal war sehr freundlich wie immer. Das Lokal war sehr voll und es war sehr laut .

It was a place I went to as a guest for the first time, especially to eat fish. The view was beautiful when served. Anchovy pan, cupra and salmon were STELY. The fried shrimp was very hard. I had to eat it so as not to offend my friend.

We decided to go to a nice fish restaurant with my family. At first the atmosphere seemed different and everything seemed fine. but there was rice on the menu. But there was no rice on any of the plates and the fish that came was stale. The portion of salmon was small and stale, the fried anchovies were watery and stale, the shrimp was very hard, and the sea bream was stale. The employees were not friendly. I guess they put stale products in the carnival so that no one would notice. Price performance was terrible. It was a nice looking place, I hope they serve their products fresh. I do not recommend.

It was a place we went to as a friend's recommendation and invitation. cupra, anchovy and soman were stale. The friend felt sad and later admitted that he was not well. If I were alone I would NEVER eat it, I would object. Even if I were invited again, I wouldn't go.

We should have left after the “welcome”. Between the starter and the main course there was a waiting time of over 30 minutes and dishes not tidied up. The price-performance ratio and the names of the dishes do not match. The Scampino grill plate is not one. The one crab & the fish pieces were fried and definitely not grilled. The fish soup is more of a tomato soup with minimal fish accompaniment. The spaghetti with parmesan was too spicy & the scampi pan was oily & dry because it was fried for too long. We wanted another table, which was not given to us because it was supposedly reserved. When we left the table was still empty.
