Well the ambience was also great but the food was great. I was in the mood for something other than curry with fries and the falafel (delicately aromatic) and the eggplant paste (knobby alert) were just good. I'll be back.

Finally something different than the usual: Super fresh cuisine; Visually very appealingly presented on the plate. I had the falafel chicken plate; Stunningly delicious with various sauces and hummus, various grilled vegetables and a small salad. Dishes suitable for vegetarians and possibly vegans. Staff very nice, lots of walk-in customers. Seating options available. Price performance is simply top. I would love to come back.

I recently discovered this fantastic Sudanese imbiss in my neighborhood, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! I took the falafel halloumi—it's truly delicious and at just 6€, probably the best value in town. Savannah Spezial Teller if you are a bit hungry is a great value at 11€ and truly delicious

It's a delicious and inexpensive snack bar away from the kebab mainstream, where you can get something different.

Delicious sandwiches and plates. I enjoy eating here but takeaway is also delicious. In particular, the combination of shawarma and peanut and mango sauce is not otherwise available in the shawarma shops in the area. The only thing I don't like is the falafel/they're too crispy and dry for me, otherwise everything from halloumi, kofta, to grilled vegetables and chicken is very tasty. Unfortunately, the quality of the sandwiches sometimes varies greatly depending on who is preparing them. Since there is a school next door, it is sometimes a bit crowded during breaks and end times on school days and you have to bring a little time with you. There are documentaries on the TV inside.

Super tasty, everything totally fresh and homemade sauces. Rarely have I had such delicious falafel. Price absolutely reasonable and good portions.

This takeaway will probably never be mentioned in your IG timeline Reels. Which has reasons. One of them is that the store is anything but fancy. The second is that it's all about good food - not about image or shishi. Whether carnivorous, vegan or vegetarian preference - everything in this shop is tasty. I have no idea what these dishes taste like in Sudan, but this cuisine is very close to me, as I ate many things at Savanne (their way) for the first time. In the end, I almost feel uncomfortable having paid so little money for these dishes, so I always leave a big tip. Similar good: Nil Imbiss in FHain and Xberg

Fantastic food, good service, and consistent quality. The interior isn't particularly nice, but every other aspect makes up for that greatly.

The Savanne Imbiss is a nice little snack bar on Greiswalder Straße. Everything I have eaten there so far has been very tasty. I can actually recommend everything from halloumi to the very good falafel to the delicious different sauces such as peanut, eggplant and hummus. We really recommend the fried vegetables, which taste simply delicious.

Extremely delicious food!!!! I would recommend trying everything it's pretty good. The guys are super friendly and nice. My favorite place in Berlin.

At first glance, this shop looks quite inconspicuous from the outside, but it shows its true inner beauty with the first bite. A melt-in-your-mouth peanut sauce paired with fruity mango sauce, eggplant cream, sesame paste and a wonderfully fiery-spicy sauce are a recipe for a sauce inferno (in a positive sense!!!) at its finest. Added to this, fresh ingredients and crispy falafel create an all-round great, balanced taste experience... The whole thing is rounded off by very polite employees. Overall, a super honest shop that is absolutely worth a visit and never disappoints.

Although we arrived shortly before closing time, we received a very friendly welcome and were served a fantastically delicious meal (savannah plate, tofu halloumi plate, freshly prepared with excellent ingredients. Thank you very much! Recommended!

Best hallumi & hummus kebab of my life

Soo sehr leckeres Essen, große Portion für guten Preis, nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Viele und leckere vegetarische und vegane Optionen. Der Verkäufer hat beim Essen-Anfertigen auch nochmal netterweise nachgefragt, ob das Essen vegetarisch oder vegan sein soll. Die Allergene sind ausgeschildert und wir fanden es witzig, dass im Fernseher ein Tierdoku lief. Der Laden ist absolut empfehlenswert!:)

Super netter Service und Bedienung Essen ist preisleistungsmäßig nicht zu übertreffen

Habe Falafel im Pita-Brot to go gehabt, von daher bleibt das Ambiente unberücksichtigt. Besonders wenn man nach vegetarischem oder veganem Fast Food sucht, ist man hier richtig. Falafel, Hallumi, Magali und Tofu stehen unter anderem auf der Karte und können vielfältig kombiniert werden. Für Fleischesser gibt es auch Chicken und Beef, sowie Fisch im Angebot. Dazu frische Salate und leckere, würzige Saucen. Die Falafel waren außen knusprig und innen weich und saftig, wie sie sein müssen. Mit den diversen Saucen war das ein totales Geschmackserlebnis, dass ich jedem Döner vorziehen würde. Für 'nen Fünfer auch ein echt günstiges Vergnügen. Hier werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder vorbeikommen und weitere Gerichte probieren 😁👍

Leckeres Shawarma, leckeres Makali. Alles wird frisch v.O zubereitet. Freundliches und kompetenter Servicepersonal. Nette Sitzmöglichkeit im Freien.

Der Falafel hier ist wirklich köstlich, besonders in Kombination mit der leckeren Sauce. Es könnte allerdings etwas mehr Sauce darauf sein. Geschmacklich ist alles frisch und der Falafel schön knusprig. Die Portion ist auch angemessen. Der Laden selbst ist klein und schlicht, aber alles wirkt gepflegt und sauber.

Hervorragende Falafel mit köstlicher Erdnus-Sauce. Auch für Veganer zu empfehlen.

Easily one of the best meals I ever had. Savannah plate; loads of veggies, falafel, some kind of fried cheese and various sauces. The peanut sauce is awesome. We had it takeaway and it was a very generous portion. Very friendly people as well!

Richtig leckere Imbiss. Mann kann immer gutes, abwechslungsreiches Essen essen. Es schmeckt sehr gut. Die Preise sind erschwinglich und man kann auch gut variieren (Im Brot oder Teller). Draußen sitzt man außerdem recht hübsch.

Wir waren hier schnell eine Kleinigkeit zum Mittagessen holen. Ich fand es ok. Die Mädels sagten es ist super.

Kleiner, feiner Laden. Alle Speisen werden hygienisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Service sehr freundlich. Kein Massen-Billozeugs, da er jeden Abend auch komplett ausverkauft ist. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Baklavas :-) Suchtgefahr!

Un sitio muy agradable inmejorable por el precio. Pedimos dos sándwiches de ternera y pollo y de pollo y falafel ( kufta & chicken, falafel & chicken) y estaban muy ricos tienen salsa de cacahuete, verduras y lechuga. El camarero fue muy majo pese a que no hablábamos alemán. Muy recomendable.

Absolutely the best Sudanese food I’ve had in Berlin. Not greasy, fresh, incredible mix of delicious tastes. Way better than Sahara etc. Chicken & halloumi teller was delicious.

Very affordable and tasty. My first time trying Senegalese food; it was basically shawarma/falafal type food options with a yummy peanut sauce. Their hot sauce is also really spicy for anyone craving some spice.

Great place to eat. I order a dish with chicken not knowing what it was and surprised me very positively. I shouldve come here everyday if o had known the place. 10 Stars and the cook is very nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

We arrived from out of town and Savanne Imbiss was right across from our hotel. We had one Falafel sandwiche and one Falafel/Halumi sandwich. They were just delicious. A bit messy, but worth it. Neither the worker or me spoke the same language, but we made it work.

Essen bietet erfrischend neue Variationen afrikanischer Küche zu relativ guten Preisen. Schmeckt eher im 3-Sterne-Bereich, die Bedienung ist aber sehr freundlich gewesen. Daher 4 Sterne!

Das Essen schmeckt gut, aber es sollte mehr auf die Hygiene geachtet werden (z.B. Soße nicht offen auf den Tresen stellen). Corona hat da leider auch nicht zu einem Umdenken oder einer größeren Sensibilität bei dem Thema geführt...
