Saray Restaurant in Reutlingen

All of my guests that I brought and picked up there were very enthusiastic, very satisfied...

Food and premises are good. But service underground. Waiter on the first floor upstairs unfriendly, disinterested, playing with his cell phone while empty plates sit around for ages. Drink is put away even though it is still half full. You have to get your own tea because it's free. Large teapot stands twisted, hand stands under dripping hot water. Finally, the icing on the cake: food was charged twice because the guy at the cash register apparently can't read.

I wanted to eat another fat, hot kebab. But unfortunately I was wrong. Meat is not done. Tomatoes and red cabbage tasted very sour. The bread was so hard that I could break a pane of glass with it. But the sauce was solid. Unfortunately. Saray has always been my favorite kebab shop, but it's 50/50 whether you get a good kebab or a brick. But you have to admit that the service is always good.

After frequent, satisfied visits in the past, I had to disappointingly discover today, October 2nd, 2024, around 10 p.m., that this store is no longer what it used to be. When we arrived we were asked if we could sit in the upper area, at first we were told yes, but in the middle of the stairs we were then rudely directed back downstairs. However, during our visit we noticed that people were still going upstairs after us and were even being served upstairs... Messy and unfair!!! We had to order food ourselves at the counter. There was kebab... the meat (minced meat skewer - bad taste... real meat is worlds better) was cold and the taste was strange. The kebab itself wasn't warm either. Rather cold. The starter (lentil soup) was cold rather than warm and tasted stale. You could also see the staleness when you saw it at the counter.... The employees seemed to be working listlessly and made the kebabs as quickly as possible... like on a production line. There was no effort at all.... Unfortunately. Overall a very bad and dissatisfied visit. I'll think three times about visiting this store next time.

Ich war heute mit mein Freund und sein Kumpel am 12.07.2024 gegen 20 Uhr bei Saray essen , Restaurant war halb leer gewesen um die Uhrzeit , nicht mal 6-7 Leute waren da . Wir haben uns oben in erste Etage gesessen der auch komplett leer war . Die Mitarbeiter haben uns gesehen das wir hoch gelaufen sind und haben uns begrüßt und haben es gesehen dass wir zu 3 oben gegangen sind . Die Bedienung hat uns gesehen und hat uns ignoriert . Wir saßen über 40 Minuten und keiner ist zu uns gekommen und unsere Bestellung aufgenommen !!!!!! Wir saßen und warten warten warten aber keiner ist zu uns gekommen obwohl Restaurant mehr als halb leer war !!!!!! Nach ca 40 min sind wir aufgestanden , haben unsere Getränke gezahlt und kurz vor wir gehen wollten habe ich mich bei denen ihr Chef beschwert !!!! Genauso wie es sich angehört !!!!!! Die Bedienung sehr unhöflich und unprofessional!!!!! Wenn eine Mädchen alleine oder mit weibliche Begleitung da ist dann können es 50 Leute in Restaurant sein die Bedienung ist sofort da ansonsten lassen die einen so lang warten !!!! Habe früher gerne bei denen gegessen aber jetzt sehr sehr enttäuscht!!!!!

The sliced ​​meat didn't taste like anything, but the quantity was acceptable. Charging 8 EUR for this is outrageous. Now that I know what it's like, I wouldn't even consume it for 0 EUR. The spiciness that lies on the tables is pure joke. Not at all spicy and doesn't even taste like a good spice. After eating I was full, but that was about it. Even though I was the only customer there, staff wanted to process things quickly and were very impatient, but when customers are paying your business expenses, you should also have some patience. What I also don't understand about some restaurants is that you only start wiping the tables outside when you're comfortably eating. The store was 95% empty outside and inside. Do you only ever realize this when the customer has sat down? That's immensely stressful! That was my first and last visit there.

Prices are okay. Parking is rather difficult. You can park opposite the post office for a maximum of half an hour.

Came here for Iftar with my friends. We spoke Deutsch when ordering but they still got the wrong order and kept insisting that the mistaken orders were the ones we ordered in the first place (gaslighting us). Once we cleared everything up they brought out the food but they brought few extra dishes and insisted that we ordered them therefore we have to pay for the extra plates food. Never in my life had I this bad of an experience in a restaurant. Anywhere else would be better option this Saray in Reutlingen location.

Interesting and delicious selection of Turkish grill specialties other than just kebab and everything freshly made. Even when the house was packed for Ramadan, where our colleagues were really busy, we found a place.

Overall, the food at Saray Restaurant was very good. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate it an 8. We had the lamb (lokum) and the iskender. Both dishes were very delicious and are highly recommended. The service staff was very courteous, attentive and friendly. Plus, everything happened quickly. Overall a very positive experience! 👍

We asked if you could package the food so it doesn't go to waste. The guys brought the package! They said you can package it better😂 those meals are actually being asked to be packaged just so they don't go to waste, it's not because you're a gypsy, get that into your head!! Today I had menu 4, with only 9 pieces of fries. Adana of minced meat was very hard, the tripe soup was almost without meat with too much water. The spiciest of all was Sütlaç (rice pudding) which was declared as a dessert, but it wasn't served after we asked the waiter about it, we couldn't serve it because everyone wants something different. The toilet area was in disarray and there was dust hanging from the ceiling, probably for two years. For 29.90 euros I would have expected something different.

Actually not even 1 star because my soup was like water and unfortunately my meat was like rubber and a bit raw and they also forgot the fries.

They were only really quiet when I said that I wanted to pay for the kebab and didn't want to take it with me because it was the wrong one. In short, if you want to eat, be prepared for discussions if you order incorrectly. The motto customer is king and respect is completely misplaced here. I also had to state clearly that I was there to pay, that I wasn't there to discuss things and that it was very rude to me because the mistake was obviously not mine.

Waren hier zum essen und wir waren zufrieden. Die Einrichtung ist echt mal was anderes, wir fanden es richtig cool. Sowas noch nicht gesehen gehabt. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Und das Essen war frisch und warm. Es waren auch große Portion, wir waren mehr wie satt. Wir würden wieder kommen. Wenn wir in der nähe sind. Die anderen Bewertungen haben wir erst nach dem Essen gelesen, wir können es nicht nachvollziehen. Unser Essen war gut, wir waren zufrieden 👍

Essen schmeckt gut und Ist frisch. Es gibt mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen und draußen. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße drinnen ist es aber ruhig. Parken muss man eher etwas abseits.

Niewieder ich und meine Familie waren gerade dort eckelhaft pommes sind nicht durch fett ist tod...pizza teig roh kebapfleisch gebrannt niewieder sorry.

Nicht zu erkennen wer Gast und wer Mitarbeiter ist. Nach 20 Minuten sind wir schließlich aufgestanden, da in der Zeit nicht mal diese Speisekarte kam.

Parkmöglichkeiten gegen Gebühr in Laufnähe vorhanden. Zahlung per Karte oder bar möglich. Personal freundlich. Genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten im Restaurant auf zwei Stockwerken und davor vorhanden. Essen ging relativ schnell. War gut und lecker.

Super freundlicher Mann der den Tisch sauber gemacht hat und die Bestellung am Tisch aufgenommen hat. Die Döner-Box meiner Frau war super, aber das Lammhackfleisch in meinem Yufka war wenig gewürzt, hat nicht so richtig geschmeckt, und das wenige Fleisch war kalt wegen dem ganzen Salat. Nächstes Mal nehme ich nur noch die Box mit dem Rindfleisch.

Alles ist ordentlich & sauber schon, aber der Döner und das Team im Geschäft könnte besser und netter sein, Neue Bewertung bei nächster Besuch, wenn wir was anderes erfahren ..

Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Der Platz ist sauber und man kann hier gut essen.

Lammfleisch war super und das Personal war sehr freundlich

Super frisches gutes Hackfleisch bei dem Köfte Teller, über Holkohle gegrillt mit mehreren Beilagen frischem Fladenbrot, Peperoni, Reis und Pommes schön angerichtet serviert, große Portionen, der Döner ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft mit knackigem Rucola frischen Rothohlsalat. Die Preise sind entsprechend der Qualität absolut angemessen. Das Personal ist zu allen sehr höflich.

Sehr guter Döner, habe mit Scheibenfleisch gegessen und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Alles war frisch und Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Wenn Mann für ein Yufka und ein Döner-Box knapp 20€ verlangt dann sollte man auch dementsprechend servieren. Also die Pommes gehören zum Müll und Fleischqualität ist deutlich schlechter geworden. 2 Sterne nur wegen der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, der Rest bleibt stehen.

Ich war heute da es mir empfohlen wurde, was ich aber bekam ging gar nicht ich habe einen Döner mit Kalbfleisch bestellt und bekam Schaf. Hinzu kommt dass mein Kollege der aus der Gegend ist sein Döner für 2,50€ bekommen hat und ich für 5€. Also weiß ich jetzt nicht ob die selber nicht wissen was für Fleisch verkaufen oder was, weil Schaf als Kalb genommen wird und Pute als Kalb. Einfach nur enttäuschend das geht gar nicht.

Ich bestellte mir eine dürümrolle der arabischen Angestellten die mich sehr verwundert anschauten als ich sagte ich heiße adolf meyer. Ich bestellte mir eine angenehme teigrolle arabischer art als ich 10 minuten später ein teigprodukt erhielt. Dies war jedoch nicht die arabische rolle sondern spätzle mit geschmolzenen käse. Dies akzeptiere ich nicht. ANZEIGE!!!

Hallo zusammen, ich war heute mit meiner Frau und meiner Tochter zum ersten Mal im Saray in Reutlingen. Wir Drei waren die einzigen drei Deutschen im Lokal, sonst nur türkische Gäste und aus diesem Grund wusste ich, hier muss es nur gut sein. Und was war es!? Die Gastlichkeit ohne Worte, hier könnte sich manche deutsche Gaststätte ein Vorbild nehmen und das Essen war gigantomanisch gut. Ich möchte mich für die Gastfreundlichkeit bedanken.
