Highly recommended if you're in the area. The service is first-class, the owner is very friendly and took our orders personally. There were 15 of us at dinner, and we only had to wait 10 minutes for the appetizers and the main thing. At the end, we were treated to tea as a way of expressing friendship with Turkish guests.

After five years, we ate there again. The ambiance was very nice, the service excellent. We had the grilled meat, but unfortunately, the meat got cold very quickly. I don't understand why it's served on flatbread; if I'm supposed to eat it with it, I have to remove everything on it first. There are no side dishes included either; the rice or fries would have been delicious with it. As for the prices, they've been hiked up quite a bit. The dips and salads before the starter are very good, but the bread served warm would have been nice. It would also have been nice if the music had been a bit quieter. All in all, very good.

Cag kebab (a horizontal lamb doner, so to speak) in Bonn! I was surprised to find it here. I'd been looking for it for a long time. The meat is super delicious. Cig kofte, salads, and yogurt dip as starters, and tea is on the house afterward. What more could you want? Very friendly service. Nice music. I'll be back.

This is a restaurant I'll bring guests to whenever I'm in Bonn. The quality of the food and the variety of options are fantastic. The prices are also reasonable in my opinion, neither affordable nor expensive. You might not come every week, but it's worth it sometimes. Some of the dishes were better than I've ever tasted in Turkey (I haven't been to every city in Turkey). The Cağ kebab, Adana kebab, chicken shish, and lamb shish were all excellent. The lamb chops were a bit too strong, but that's personal preference. The çiğ köfte they served at the beginning far exceeded my expectations. I usually don't enjoy the çiğ köfte served as an appetizer in restaurants because it's not the main flavor they focus on, but here it was perfect. I wish I could order it again :) The ayran isn't my cup of tea; a little more liquid and sourness would be nice. I think the salad could be improved, too.

We went as a group to eat cağ kebab. We called ahead to reserve a place and cağ kebab. We drove over an hour as a group, and when we arrived, they told us they had no cağ kebab left, even though we'd called and made a reservation the day before. We felt completely taken advantage of. Even though they knew we had reserved, they made no effort to make up for their mistake. I complained and forced myself to do it, so they made up for it with a small discount. We were not satisfied at all. Personally, I wouldn't go back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately disappointing – not five-star quality This was our second visit because we wanted to give the restaurant another chance after a mixed first visit. There were misunderstandings the first time: we asked for more rice, but only received a very small portion. On our second visit, the restaurant was almost empty, and the staff greeted us friendly, except for the same waitress as last time. We wanted to order a mixed grill with rice, which is actually quite standard in such restaurants; rice is a must as a side dish. At first, they said there was no rice. Then suddenly, they said it was, but only for an additional charge. Communication was very unclear, and we felt like we weren't being taken seriously. We finally left and ate next door, where everything was perfect. Unfortunately, disappointing for a supposedly five-star restaurant. What a shame.

Scandalous and illegal – keep your distance! What happened here with our party is no longer acceptable. Not only did they **raise our prices at short notice** and even charge us **50 euros in cash for a simple cake knife** – no, the restaurant **filmed our entire party without any prior agreement and published the video online!** No consent, no consideration for privacy – they simply brazenly shared the video footage of our guests and us on their social media channels. This is a **clear violation of data protection and personal rights** and goes far beyond poor service. Anyone who books here not only risks overpriced prices and unfriendly service, but also having their private moments **publicly exploited**. Absolutely unprofessional, dubious, and legally questionable. We are considering further action. **Stay away!

Despite significant organizational difficulties while planning a family wedding, including multiple last-minute changes and additional costs due to the restaurant's lack of planning, I initially deliberately refrained from writing a negative review. What is absolutely unacceptable, however, is that after the ceremony, a full video of the wedding, including clearly recognizable faces and many private details, was posted on Instagram without our consent – as an advertising measure for the restaurant. Publishing this video without our consent represents a massive infringement of our personal rights. This is no trivial matter, but a clear violation of our right to privacy. I would have expected a more responsible approach from a reputable company. I therefore cannot recommend planning events here. Anyone who values privacy, reliability, and professional communication should look for another location.

It was a horrific experience: We went there as a family to eat. A few days later, we discovered that employees had filmed us and posted our pictures on the restaurant's Instagram page without our knowledge.

One of the best Turkish restaurants around Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz! The grill plate is highly recommended; it's incredibly delicious, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The thin bread that sits on top of the meat is a real highlight. The meat and vegetables have always been fresh and of very good quality. And what's truly unique in Bonn: The grill plate even comes with çiğ köfte, a fantastic and unusual addition that you won't find anywhere else! I haven't tried the breakfast yet, but that will change soon – I'm excited! If you want authentic Turkish food, this is the place for you. A definite recommendation!

We came with the intention of having Cağ kebab. I had mixed kebab and my friend had Adana. The good places I ate in Türkiye were much better. The appetizers were plentiful and fresh. The deals were also very reasonable for the place and taste.

It was our first time at saray in Bonn. Before we were always in Düsseldorf, which is our favorite. I have to say I'm very disappointed. We ordered manti and there was more dough than any other meat and you couldn't taste it at all. The ambience and service were good, but unfortunately not recommended at all for the price-performance ratio.

We had breakfast there with 5 people. The selection left a lot to be desired. The breakfast came beautifully decorated on a wooden tray, but apart from lots of sausage and olives there was hardly any choice. Normally there should be a lot more choice for the price (pasta, sucuk, etc.). Orange juice was only brought when we asked. Never again.

We went there again in the evening for dinner with two people. The telephone reservation worked great. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and escorted to the table. The service was exceptionally good. We had the feeling that the employees also did everything they could to make the guest happy. Both the starters and the main course were delicious and plentiful. We had the mixed starter plate and a grill plate for 2 people. We can also only recommend the homemade lemonade. A highlight for me was the final mocha and baklawa (a delight). This was a mocha that deserves the name. The restaurant is recommended for the entire family. We would like to thank you for the great evening and will be happy to come back.

The foods are really good. The grill teller we order was so juicy and delicious unfortunately a little bit too salty. But the best was Lamachun and Cig Kofte. Must order! Their homemade Ayran is the best from every Turkish restaurant I ate in Bonn.

We came there for Christmas dinner with our employees from BonnJour Nursing Service. It's a very nice atmosphere, you feel like you're among friends. Of course there is a delay every now and then, but until the main meal is filled with very nice starters, the wait is made easier, at the expense of the house! I was a guest in the restaurant around lunchtime. I ordered a Dürüm with lamb. The taste was good. The service was also okay, but I was very surprised at the price. I found 12€ for a Dürüm really outrageous. All in all: if you don't care about the price, you can go there without hesitation.

Price-performance unfortunately very disappointing!! We ate here as a family of 5 and have never paid so much in a restaurant and still weren't full. We had lamb on a skewer 4 times (3 skewers) and chicken skewer once. There are starters (salad and dip, something Turkish) with bread, but we don't like eating bread. With the meat dish there was only some onions and some carrots. The 3 skewers of lamb were ridiculous for a price of €23.90. So little meat!!! You had to order rice as a side dish and the salad from the starter could hardly be divided between 5 people. Not even the two children (5 & 6 years old) were full of the portion of meat. Let alone the adults. The taste was ok. I assume that most guests will eat the bread and eat their fill. But the prices for the dish itself are not justified!! We often go to Turkish/Arabic restaurants and have never had to eat the bread to fill up, never experienced anything like that!! There was one positive point: a prayer room with the possibility of ablution (but only in the men's toilet, not in the women's!) and a mini changing table for babies (we were there with a baby). All in all not satisfactory, we will definitely NOT come back!

Today I was invited to the Saray Restaurant by friends in Bonn. I come from Düsseldorf and unfortunately I haven't found the right restaurant in Düsseldorf yet, like Saray in Bonn today. The food was delicious, a poem cannot be described in words.
The service was very attentive, friendly and competent. And within a few minutes of our order, we had our food. Fresh, hot and nicely prepared. The ambience is great.
In terms of price, the ratio to performance is totally fine.
This restaurant is a must, a haven of good food, always worth a visit. And it's hard to imagine the map of good taste without it. As mentioned, the food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

Ordered breakfast twice, received it 4 times. After complaint it was corrected. The food was very unsalted and dry. After a few minutes we noticed that there was a long white/blond hair in the middle of the food. Not on top, but eat IM. None of us have light hair. After a complaint it was not addressed. We wanted to speak to the boss but he didn't come. We had to pay the full fee and received NO apology. I will definitely report this to my health department. That doesn't work at all.
