We ate there for the first time two weeks ago and were really impressed. Above all, the absolutely friendly and courteous service. Good-humoured employees take excellent care of ensuring that everything is in order. I was even given an extra portion just because I asked what kind of appetizer it was, which I really liked. Suddenly the waitress came with a second portion. The food is extremely well prepared and served. Every meal comes with bread, salads and dips… We felt very comfortable there and ate incredibly well… Full marks. Great ambience. All around. We'll be back

Nice restaurant from the outside. However, the service is catastrophic. Wouldn't advise anyone to celebrate special events here. Didn't get a chance to try the food as the staff only focus on individual people.

It was our first time at saray in Bonn. Before we were always in Düsseldorf, which is our favorite. I have to say I'm very disappointed. We ordered manti and there was more dough than any other meat and you couldn't taste it at all. The ambience and service were good, but unfortunately not recommended at all for the price-performance ratio.

Unfortunately the prices are overpriced. Everything you get on the table as a starter will be charged at the end. The food wasn't great, but pide was delicious. Ultimately it's about the financial aspect, unfortunately I don't recommend it!

We had breakfast there with 5 people. The selection left a lot to be desired. The breakfast came beautifully decorated on a wooden tray, but apart from lots of sausage and olives there was hardly any choice. Normally there should be a lot more choice for the price (pasta, sucuk, etc.). Orange juice was only brought when we asked. Never again.

We went there again in the evening for dinner with two people. The telephone reservation worked great. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and escorted to the table. The service was exceptionally good. We had the feeling that the employees also did everything they could to make the guest happy. Both the starters and the main course were delicious and plentiful. We had the mixed starter plate and a grill plate for 2 people. We can also only recommend the homemade lemonade. A highlight for me was the final mocha and baklawa (a delight). This was a mocha that deserves the name. The restaurant is recommended for the entire family. We would like to thank you for the great evening and will be happy to come back.

Had a spontaneous meal there with 8 people. Everything was extremely tasty and fresh. We'll definitely be back soon ;-)

A Beyti plate (an Adana skewer wrapped in bread and with some yogurt) for €21.90??? An Adanaspießdürüm costs 8-9 euros. You seriously want 13-14 euros for yogurt? You didn't hear the bang! I prefer to eat at home!!!

Thank you dear Saray team. You are the number 1 for grilled meat in Bonn. Your homemade lamb cag kebap in particular is unique in Bonn and damn tasty👌🏿! Me and my family had a really nice time with you. The cellars were not above accommodating special requests from the children! Thank you!

The foods are really good. The grill teller we order was so juicy and delicious unfortunately a little bit too salty. But the best was Lamachun and Cig Kofte. Must order! Their homemade Ayran is the best from every Turkish restaurant I ate in Bonn.

We ended up there by chance and were very satisfied. Friendly welcome and service, very tasty starters and great food. Afterwards there was black tea and a nice farewell. Everything is great, what more could you want!?

We came there for Christmas dinner with our employees from BonnJour Nursing Service. It's a very nice atmosphere, you feel like you're among friends. Of course there is a delay every now and then, but until the main meal is filled with very nice starters, the wait is made easier, at the expense of the house! So a big thank you to the Saray team in Bonn 🙏🏿

The grill plate for two people is served without side dishes such as rice, bulgur or fries, which I have never experienced before. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat left a lot to be desired, and the quantity was just enough, but not outstanding. The prices aren't exactly cheap either. Overall, I cannot recommend the restaurant as there are many better alternatives in Bonn.

I was a guest in the restaurant around lunchtime. I ordered a Dürüm with lamb. The taste was good. The service was also okay, but I was very surprised at the price. I found 12€ for a Dürüm really outrageous. All in all: if you don't care about the price, you can go there without hesitation.

Price-performance unfortunately very disappointing!! We ate here as a family of 5 and have never paid so much in a restaurant and still weren't full. We had lamb on a skewer 4 times (3 skewers) and chicken skewer once. There are starters (salad and dip, something Turkish) with bread, but we don't like eating bread. With the meat dish there was only some onions and some carrots. The 3 skewers of lamb were ridiculous for a price of €23.90. So little meat!!! You had to order rice as a side dish and the salad from the starter could hardly be divided between 5 people. Not even the two children (5 & 6 years old) were full of the portion of meat. Let alone the adults. The taste was ok. I assume that most guests will eat the bread and eat their fill. But the prices for the dish itself are not justified!! We often go to Turkish/Arabic restaurants and have never had to eat the bread to fill up, never experienced anything like that!! There was one positive point: a prayer room with the possibility of ablution (but only in the men's toilet, not in the women's!) and a mini changing table for babies (we were there with a baby). All in all not satisfactory, we will definitely NOT come back!

The three of us ate there around 5 p.m. and had the grill plate for 2, which was very tasty. Everything juicy and fresh. The vegetarian starter platter was also great. First there were various salads and flatbread.

Today I was invited to the Saray Restaurant by friends in Bonn. I come from Düsseldorf and unfortunately I haven't found the right restaurant in Düsseldorf yet, like Saray in Bonn today. The food was delicious, a poem cannot be described in words.
The service was very attentive, friendly and competent. And within a few minutes of our order, we had our food. Fresh, hot and nicely prepared. The ambience is great.
In terms of price, the ratio to performance is totally fine.
This restaurant is a must, a haven of good food, always worth a visit. And it's hard to imagine the map of good taste without it. As mentioned, the food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

Ordered breakfast twice, received it 4 times. After complaint it was corrected. The food was very unsalted and dry. After a few minutes we noticed that there was a long white/blond hair in the middle of the food. Not on top, but eat IM. None of us have light hair. After a complaint it was not addressed. We wanted to speak to the boss but he didn't come. We had to pay the full fee and received NO apology. I will definitely report this to my health department. That doesn't work at all.

I would definitely recommend it. The food is very delicious, the restaurant has a relaxing ambience, and the employees are kind and friendly.

I ordered a kebab plate (or iskender or something) and said in advance that I didn't want any yoghurt. I really can't touch yogurt, I have a bad allergy. The plate arrived and there was a whole heap of yoghurt next to the kebab. I told the waiter that I didn't want any yogurt, and he apologized and took the plate away. When a 'new' plate was served it was just the same, only they spooned away the yoghurt. I asked them again, and this time I also emphasized that I couldn't eat it like that, and the third time they simply slapped more kebab on top of the kebab (which was smeared with yogurt). They made the plate look like it was new and without yogurt, but everyone at my table could still see the yogurt. After the third time I didn't feel like bringing it up again because they didn't change anything anyway and just got angry even though they made the mistake. Now the employees are answering me and telling me that I'm lying! This is something that happened and if you don't believe me, you're out of luck. It was the employee with little hair and glasses. This review is not for me but for you. I get nothing from this review, but you get your feedback! Please accept it instead of portraying me as a liar. an apology would be more than enough.

I was disappointed in the food taste. If you want a tasty turkish food, this is not the place you should visit. If you want a fancy place then may be you would like it. And it is also expensive.

Hijabis are not welcome here makes fun of the question of whether the meat is “Helal” instead the waiter asks stupid counter questions. Conclusion: bad food, bad service, no side dishes. During the conversation, goes to the other customer and ends the conversation.

After the price increase, the prices are very expensive and the side dishes now even cost extra. This means that everything costs an enormous amount, e.g. a grill plate with rice now costs around €28. In addition, the service is visibly overwhelmed.

We spontaneously went there for dinner last night and luckily got a table straight away. The last time we were there was about 3 years ago and we had positive memories of it, which is why we definitely wanted to eat there again. This time too, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating even though it was busy. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and we were able to enjoy our food in a great atmosphere. From the outside the restaurant looks inconspicuous but from the inside it is incredibly large and impressive, just like the food. We were served a free appetizer very quickly to shorten the waiting time for our order. The grill plates followed pretty quickly and we all enjoyed it incredibly well. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the warm service, we felt very welcome. (Unfortunately we hadn't informed ourselves that you can only pay in cash, which is why we had to quickly go to the bank.) :)

Absolute disaster! We had breakfast with friends last weekend and dinner on Corpus Christi (05/30/24). The breakfast is an attempted copy of the Meymans restaurant on Bertha von Suttner Platz. However, the copy failed here. Apparently the owner doesn't have any ideas of his own to present breakfast to his guests. Dinner, a mixed grill plate (my meal), was served lukewarm. Either you left it waiting for a long time or it was already on the grill before you ordered it. The meat itself was very dry and tough. The side dish (rice) was warmer than the grilled meat. There is an extra charge for each side dish, which is a complete rip-off. Never again!
