I was there for the first time recently and I really liked the atmosphere and the decor. The service is also top. I only ate soup and Künefe and I can highly recommend Künefe in particular.

The place is very nice, the food is delicious, it may be the first restaurant you go to in Bonn.

Very nice atmosphere and good food. The grill plate for two people is very rich and delicious. The free tea after your meal is also always nice. The staff is very friendly. We have eaten here several times and have always been very satisfied.

I think it's a shame that the menu has deteriorated. Selling fries and rice as a side dish is not possible at all. The prices have already risen anyway.

After reopening, Saray is unbeatable when it comes to grilled dishes. The owner and staff are very friendly and the food is simply delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

After the price increase, the prices are very expensive and the side dishes now even cost extra. This means that everything costs an enormous amount, e.g. a grill plate with rice now costs around €28. In addition, the service is visibly overwhelmed.

We spontaneously went there for dinner last night and luckily got a table straight away. The last time we were there was about 3 years ago and we had positive memories of it, which is why we definitely wanted to eat there again. This time too, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating even though it was busy. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and we were able to enjoy our food in a great atmosphere. From the outside the restaurant looks inconspicuous but from the inside it is incredibly large and impressive, just like the food. We were served a free appetizer very quickly to shorten the waiting time for our order. The grill plates followed pretty quickly and we all enjoyed it incredibly well. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the warm service, we felt very welcome. (Unfortunately we hadn't informed ourselves that you can only pay in cash, which is why we had to quickly go to the bank.) :)

Absolute disaster! We had breakfast with friends last weekend and dinner on Corpus Christi (05/30/24). The breakfast is an attempted copy of the Meymans restaurant on Bertha von Suttner Platz. However, the copy failed here. Apparently the owner doesn't have any ideas of his own to present breakfast to his guests. Dinner, a mixed grill plate (my meal), was served lukewarm. Either you left it waiting for a long time or it was already on the grill before you ordered it. The meat itself was very dry and tough. The side dish (rice) was warmer than the grilled meat. There is an extra charge for each side dish, which is a complete rip-off. Never again!

Today we had dinner at Saray with my girlfriend and we both ordered an Adana. I really have to say that I haven't had such a delicious, well-seasoned Adana in a long time. The food and starters were really top. A big compliment also goes to the service you get here. You feel very well looked after, everything is taken care of. Very friendly and attentive staff, definitely a 10/10 from us ⭐️ We always enjoy coming here.

I've been eating here regularly for years. Very tasty food, super friendly service and a cozy atmosphere with short waiting times. There is even a small prayer room available for Muslim guests so that they don't miss any prayers there. Highly Recommended!

We travelled from Australia and stumbled across Saray to have a meal for 15 people. The service was very friendly, prompt and the food was very tasty. A waiter named Veysel served our food, he was a very friendly and good man! Highly recommend Saray! Will definitely visit again if we travel to Bonn

While walking past, I saw that they had cag kebab 😋. I ordered a cag kebap to go. The taste is indescribably delicious. The best for me in Germany. Equate to Gogorec in Berlin! The meat was only seasoned with salt and a generous amount of pepper. Above all, free of cartilage and tendons 👍 All employees very nice

Very well maintained and stylish store. Hygiene and service are very important. Everything is finely furnished and trained staff. We are pleased to have discovered this beautiful piece of Turkish cuisine.

Service is very bad, you are hardly noticed and people are very loud. It was very annoying that the orders all came one after the other and we couldn't even eat together, which was a shame because it was actually a nice place.

I appreciate the nice ambience here, but I must point out that I think the service is not up to standard. One employee wore a glove on one hand but not the other, raising hygiene concerns. There was also a beetle in my bread, which significantly affected my appetite. The grill plate we ordered was disappointing in taste and the meat seemed old. Given the price and quality of the food, it's not worth visiting here as you can expect better quality elsewhere."

First you come in and are greeted by a sophisticated atmosphere and very friendly staff. There are a lot of dishes to choose from, everything sounds very tasty. The food was extremely tasty, fresh and very well portioned. Service quick and competent. We are happy to have found a very good Turkish restaurant here, so that we can enjoy the typical country cuisine even outside of our holiday in Turkey. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice store with a lot of selection but incompetent staff. We stood there for probably 10 minutes until we were noticed by the staff. Then another 10-15 minutes until we got tickets. It wasn't even that busy. Then we got up and left, and the staff didn't even care.

Breakfast on Sunday for three. Portions were perfect for us. Very tasty breakfast offering. Turkish/Kurdish “Serpme Kahvalti” was TOP for us. Plus tea in a pot, as much as you want. Had a cappucino with it. Service is TOP. Very nice, very accommodating. Very nice calm music. Really maintain this level, it will only lead you to success. I was absolutely surprised with how amazing the food was. The restaurant was beautiful. We got a mixed plate for 4 and ate in 5 people, and we could barely finish it. There are many options of dishes to try from, as well as desserts. I sadly don't live in Bonn, but I'm happy to drive there again any time just to eat here again! 🤩

We ordered 2 soups and a mixed grill plate for 2 people. I have never eaten so deliciously in Germany. Everything was perfect. Very juicy, just as it should be. The waiters are very attentive, quick and polite. Very professional demeanor. The ambience was relaxed and inviting. The restaurant was very clean. I will recommend your restaurant to everyone. I am very satisfied and will only eat kebab here again. That was Türkiye level but at its best. ❤️

We had 4 people and ordered the grill plate for 3. Ayran fresh and homemade, starters included were more than sufficient. We ordered two portions of fries. The service was super accommodating and the food was quick and more than tasty 😋. Since it was my birthday, they even played a birthday song and served me a delicious dessert. My wife and I were in a great mood on our way to eat something delicious at Saray on Easter Sunday. My wife with great hunger. I wasn't really hungry, I just had an appetite. My wife ordered a chicken skewer and I just wanted to order a classic Turkish pizza. Unfortunately the restaurant couldn't fulfill my wish. Because they only offer 2 Turkish pizzas as a portion. I, who wasn't very hungry, didn't want to have two Turkish pizzas because I knew that I would only be able to make one and the second one would have ended up in the trash and I'm 100% against wasting food. And a single pizza account that probably won't sell to me. Sad even though there are problems everywhere else. That's why I didn't order anything... So my wife got her chicken skewer and I got nothing and ran out with an appetite and easily ordered and ate a single Turkish pizza from the competition a block away... THANKS FOR NOTHING !!!! SO I DON'T HAVE TO BE SUCH DISRESPECT. WHEN WALKING OUT AFTER PAYING, I WAS INTERCEPTED AT THE DOOR BY A MAN (EMPLOYEE) AND STARTED TO GIVE SUCH A REVIEW THAT I SHOULD ACCEPT AND RESPECT THE MENU. WAS AGRESSED AND LOOKED AT STUPIDLY NEXT TO MY WIFE. VERY DISRESPECTIVE AND NOT CRITICAL WHICH WASN'T EVEN A CRITICISM I JUST WANTED TO HAVE 1 LAHMACUN. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE.

I really enjoy going here. Waiters are the friendliest in Bonn, in my opinion, and the food is always delicious. It's just getting a little old, but I think it has its charm somewhere. When I read the reviews where people said that the waiters treated them unfriendly etc. I couldn't believe it at first. They are all really nice and attentive. Personally haven't had a negative experience so far. Tea, plenty of bread, sauces and occasionally baklava are all on the house at the end. My recommendation! Edit: Now renovated and furnished in a very modern way. Prices were also raised accordingly.

I ordered a Çağ Kebap with 3 mirrors. You also get side dishes such as ciğköfte, red cabbage salad and tzatiki. The food was very, very tasty. The employees were all friendly. Ambiance is a dream. Everything was great, gladly again.

Since the renovation (new furniture) the prices have increased massively. Even for breakfast the price was raised from €11 to €18 and then I get dry, cold and crumbly flatbread. I liked coming 2-3 times a week but now I prefer to go to Meyman 50 meters away. There I pay €12 for a full table. (Mixed breakfast). Prices can be justified with taste and quality and not with furniture inventory. I don't pay for the furniture for food

I ordered Kuzu Tandir and found it extremely tasty. The waiters and employees are all very friendly. A visit is definitely recommended.

My friend discovered a spider under the bread on her plate and immediately returned the food and didn't want to eat any more and ended up having to pay for the food, which is a big shame because I come from this field myself and I never let a guest pay for it But well, as if that wasn't enough, the boss discussed with us why we didn't want to pay because it wasn't their fault that it was in the food HAHAHAHAHHA, all right, we were told that he had been working in this industry for 30 years and he would know how does it work ps don't believe that otherwise he would know that he only loses customers this way. We were there on Sunday. But I've never experienced anything like that. This was worst restaurant where we have been. We also grew up in a “cultural-multi” culture, but we really felt like total trash. Food was well grilled but cold. And I find it outrageous that several people told us to leave our table after 1.5 hours because it was reserved for other people. Simply outrageous. Nothing to recommend

Very rude, I had to have a discussion with the boss because there was a spider in my food and I still had to pay in the end. I returned the food and didn't even eat half of it until I ended up paying for it because of their fault.

"Hello everyone, We were there today and the restaurant has been newly renovated, but the staff is really inexperienced and unfriendly. We had reserved a table for 8 people, but when we arrived the staff had no idea we had reserved at all. It took them 15 minutes to prepare a table for us. The food came 35 minutes later and was incomplete. They brought us the wrong dish twice. After an hour and a half we were asked to leave because they supposedly had more customers. We wanted to order dessert, but they just put us under time pressure. The food didn't taste good at all. The only thing that counts for you is the money, not the hospitality. Not recommendable. We'll never come back."

After the renovation, the restaurant has become very beautiful. There are a lot of starters and the main courses taste just as good as before. I highly recommend it.

We ate there for Ramadan İftar, except for the ambience everything was a disaster. Really wanted to eat Cag Kebap. We first asked whether the variant with yogurt was not mixed with the meat, but we were told that it wasn't. Cag kebap arrived but 90% was bread and yogurt. According to the menu there should be 3 skewers, but the quantity was a maximum of 1 skewer. Cost €23.90 for a plate with hardly any meat. Unfortunately it was a failure...

Saray has recently renovated and it now looks nice, great atmosphere. The service was nice, but a bit inexperienced - not bad. As for the food, we were very disappointed. My meal was completely tasteless and that of my companion - grilled plate - was overpriced and had no side dish, such as fries or rice. You had to pay extra for that. The grill plate wasn't anything special either. The only thing that was tasty was the dessert. Unfortunately very disappointing.

Finally reopened after the renovation...I've been looking forward to it for 4 months. Everything has become very modern and chic. Very pleasant atmosphere. The bosses and employees are friendly and nice as always. Very attentive service. There are two daily specials, changing daily. The food was extremely tasty. Delicately seasoned dressing on the salad with pomegranate seeds and walnuts. The restaurant is a total work of art. I can warmly recommend it to all friends and acquaintances, colleagues, neighbors and relatives.
