Saray in Ravensburg

Ich war lange Zeit gerne Gast im Saray und habe das Restaurant immer wieder gerne unterstützt. Umso enttäuschender war mein letzter Besuch. Als meine Bestellung serviert wurde, habe ich mich höflich mit einem „Dankeschön“ bedankt. Statt einer freundlichen Reaktion wurde mein „Dankeschön“ auf respektlose und spöttische Weise nachgeahmt. Wer im Service arbeitet, sollte den Unterschied zwischen einem gelungenen Scherz und einem respektlosen Umgang mit Gästen kennen. Der betreffende Kellner scheint jeden Morgen einen Clown zu frühstücken. Ein Restaurant ist jedoch keine Bühne für auf Kosten der Gäste gespielte Witze. Ein professioneller und wertschätzender Umgang sollte selbstverständlich sein. Schade. Durch dieses Verhalten hat Saray eine Kundin verloren.

Top Dönerladen! Fleisch, Qualität und Sauberkeit sind überragend. Auch das Personal ist absolut top, sehr freundlich und schnell. Absolute Empfehlung!

So ein wilder Laden. Selten so freundlich und offenes Personal getroffen. Leider kann man nur Bar bezahlen und die Musik ist sehr sehr laut. Sonst war alles super

Großzügig, saftiges Fleisch, frisch und modernes Ambiente! Preis ist für das was es anbietet gerechtfertigt, leider hinten drüben, Pommes selber ok, mein Geschmack an Salat Auswahl.

Keine Kartenzahlung möglich, keine Fanta oder Sprite zum Trinken Zudem lange Wartezeit Essen schmeckt aber sonst gut

Ein richtig toller Dönerladen! Das Fleisch ist saftig, das Gemüse frisch und die Saucen schmecken einfach super. Mein absolutes Highlight ist aber die Käse-Pide: richtig lecker und absolut empfehlenswert! Der Service ist freundlich und das Essen ist schnell fertig. Ich komme gerne wieder

Nach einem Marktbesuch sind wir hier zum Mittagessen gewesen, da die Kids hier eine Spielecke haben, ist es für uns Erwachsene sehr entspannt. Schön ist auch, dass man sich sein Essen selber zusammenstellen kann.

Wer mal mehr aus der Türkischen Küche als Döner Dürüm oder Pide probieren will für den ist das die optimale erfahrung frisch aus der Küche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen ist mal eine willkommene Geschmacksveränderung. Da es doch sehr beliebt ist am besten immer vorher anrufen und ggf. reservieren.

Bester Döner! Besser als jeder Döner, den ich je in Berlin gegessen habe, nur so mal als Referenz! Familiengeführt und mit liebe wird hier zubereitet und glücklich gemacht. Kann die täglichen Gerichte auch sehr empfehlen, aber man kann sich so oder so alles von der Karte bestellen und wird glücklich werden. Bin seit Jahren zufriedener Gast und das wird auch so bleiben. Macht weiter so :)

Die Dönerbox hab ich schon öfters geholt und die ist die beste, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Die Sauce ist richtig lecker, knusprige Pommes sind drin, alles top. Auch das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich.

Die Familie ist super nett und eine absolute Institution in der Stadt. Ich esse vorzugsweise Falafel im Fladenbrot, gibt es sogar mit veganer Soße. Mein Freund isst gerne Döner oder Pizza. Wir sind immer zufrieden! Kommen regelmäßig seit Jahren. Weiter so!

Ich war mit meiner Familie aus Frankreich da und ehrlich gesagt habe ich noch nie so einen guten Döner gegessen. Das Personal ist super nett, total freundlich und locker, ein echt lustiger Typ ist auch dabei. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen.

An sich super lecker und Freundlich. Vielleicht findet ihr noch eine Lösung dafür das man nicht Saucen & Gläser und co. Immer einzeln Anfragen muss. Dieser sowie der Zahlungsvorgang hat für mein Empfinden zu viel Zeit/Nerven gekostet. Döner 9/10 fehlt nur noch ein bisschen Tiefe wie z.B. Zitronensaft oder ein Hauch Minze. Dann 10/10.

Hallo, Es war eine schreckliche Erfahrung. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, setzten wir uns und warteten auf unser Essen. Nach 20 Minuten fragten wir nach dem Status unserer Bestellung, und uns wurde gesagt, dass das Essen sofort käme. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten Wartezeit erhielten wir wieder dieselbe Antwort. Nach nochmals 10 Minuten wollten wir den Ort einfach nur noch verlassen. Das Personal teilte uns äußerst arrogant mit, dass es völlig normal sei, 45 Minuten zu warten, verlangte die Bezahlung der Bestellung und drohte uns sogar mit der Polizei... Von den 5 bestellten Gerichten waren nach 45 Minuten lediglich 2 fertig... Diese haben wir bezahlt, nur um endlich von dort wegkommen zu können. Das Niveau des Lokals ist massiv gesunken, ich kann es absolut niemandem empfehlen!

Völlig übertriebener Laden, Halbes Schmuddelklamotten Geschäft, halbes Diskotheken Döner der echt auch noch maximal mittelmäßig schmeckt! Viel zu teuer, Brot schmeckt nicht und Kebebfleisch extrem salzig! Wo die ganzen 5* Bewertungen alle herkommen möchte ich mal wissen 😂 Haben die alle noch keinen echten guten Kebab gegessen? Mitarbeiter zudem noch sehr arrogant und gekleidet wie für die Disco 😂

Man gibt sich ein modernes Image, bietet dann aber nicht einmal die Möglichkeit zur Kartenzahlung an. Nicht einmal ein Hinweisschild am Eingang darüber. Lange Wartezeit an der Theke also umsonst - lächerlich und ärgerlich zugleich. Nie wieder, schon aus Prinzip nicht!

Man kann nicht mit Karte zahlen, wie im Mittelalter. Keine Bemerkung dazu an der Türe…

Gutes Essen, schöner Laden und es wird nur Bargeld akzeptiert. Warum?

Spezial-Döner war ganz lecker. Leider sagt mein Magen nach einigwn Stunden was anderes... Komisch.

Sehr laut, sehr langsam und sehr chaotisch. 3/4 der Bestellungen von uns kamen falsch. Und die Portionen waren sehr klein für den Preis Preis/Leistung leider wirklich nicht gut.

Der Döner war super lecker. Saftiges Fleisch, knuspriges Brot, nicht zu trocken. Der Service war auch total lieb. Mein einziges Manko: leider keine Kartenzahlung, aber da seh ich gerne hinweg bei dem Service;)

Das Warten lohnt sich, vorallem für das sehr geschmackvolle Dürüm für 8,50. Genügend Fleisch, ausreichend knackiges Gemüse und ein Yufka, wie es sein soll. Bin auf Empfehlung hier rein, weil man mir sagte, es wäre der beste Döner der Stadt. Da ich noch keinen anderen probiert habe, kann ich dem zustimmen!

Döner war wenig gewürzt. Und die Akustik drinnen ist eher schlecht.

War leider enttäuscht. Brot und Zutaten sind sehr frisch, aber das Fleisch ist kaum gewürzt und vor allem hatte die Joghurtsauce kaum Geschmack. Verstehe die sehr gute Bewertung nicht, muss nicht wieder hin.

Super leckeres Essen, frische Zutaten und sehr freundlicher Service. Der beste Kebab laden in Ravensburg. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Döner ist richtig gut. War hier schon öfters und wurde nie enttäuscht. Personal ist sehr freundlich und drinnen ein gemütliche Atmosphäre. Ein echtes Highlight hier in der Gegend. 👍👍👍

Hatte lahmacun bestellt war wirklich lecker das einzige was gestört hatte aber ist yamern auf höchsten Niveau das der lahmacun nicht frisch gemacht worden ist es war lecker aber wenn es frisch gemacht wäre wäre es viel besser

A cocky employee with curly hair asks if you are married. How dare you????! Just make the döner for a friend :) Why are you so interested in the customers? That way more tourists will visit your restaurant. As a Turk living in Sweden, this is the worst restaurant I have ever visited during my visit to Germany, and the staff is untrained.

The doner kebab at Saray's is really delicious – fresh meat, good bread, and crisp ingredients. The incredibly friendly owners deserve special mention; they make every visit a pleasure. Highly recommended!

This place is the 8th Wonder of the World. If you typed "Which doner kebab was sent by God?" into ChatGPT, you'd end up here. When I bite into this doner, I forget everything around me. The quality, the service, and the atmosphere make this doner a 12/10. The portions are perfect, everything is arranged and prepared with love. Mashallah. I won't eat doner anywhere else anymore because no one else reaches this level. I have to come here at least once a week.

Probably the best kebab in Ravensburg

Ravensburg now boasts a considerable number of kebab restaurants, many of which I've known since my childhood, so for over two decades. They are consistently delicious and recommendable, which is standard. Saray, however, stands out clearly. It boasts a unique ambiance, interior, and musical style. The atmosphere is lively, hip, and very informal, bringing a breath of fresh air to Ravensburg. Fortunately, both types of meat were available this time, complemented by an excellent, truly generous mixed salad and freshly baked bread. I don't know of any other kebab restaurant that mixes so many different vegetables into its side salad. Truly delicious! Vegetarians and vegans will also find something to their liking here. The price of €14 for a kebab plate may seem high, but it's worth every cent. A comparable offering cannot be found in the entire Lake Constance district. An outstanding achievement that definitely warrants a return visit.

Everything was great. But unfortunately, it was extremely loud and therefore not pleasant to stay there for long. Acoustic insulation on the ceiling would help a lot ;)

What can I say except that it was a heavenly kebab. Nice people too. I went here drunk and sober. Both times it was divine.

All the dishes are freshly made and incredibly delicious. The best kebab in town! We love eating here. I highly recommend the kebab with grilled vegetables and the lahmacun plate.

Hello, I was at Saray's on Saturday at 12:45. I ordered 3 turkey kebabs, used one full stamp card for a free kebab, and paid €10. The young manager reluctantly accepted the stamp card. I told him I wanted crispy turkey on them. So far, so good. When I served the kebabs at home, they served 1 turkey and 2 beef. But I don't like beef. I called Saray afterward and complained. He said he hadn't heard it because the mask was blocking everything. I wasn't wearing a mask at all, just like no one else in that shop. I want my money back.

The palate is caressed by the delicate sauce, massaged by the crusty bread, and satisfied by the succulent meat. The unique experience of being part of the saray experience makes you want to be grateful for this culinary delight!

We arrived at exactly 9 p.m. and had no idea it was already closing time. Nevertheless, we received a super friendly welcome and were even allowed to eat outside – totally relaxed and stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious. 10/10!☺️

Catastrophic, service bad and unpleasant and employees seem to shout at each other to talk, the place is not very clean and the toilets too, prices overpriced and the shop is completely overhyped, the kebab wasn't that good and the meat was too salty, I went back twice specifically to check whether it was just a coincidence but was disappointed both times.

There's a wide selection of drinks, from Ayran to Coke/Zero/..., Almdudler, and much more, to beer (including non-alcoholic). The value for money is excellent; the portions are large. The food was very tasty; we had no complaints about the meat on the doner kebab plate, the fries were nicely browned and tasty, and I was surprised by the pomegranate seeds in the salad. 🤩 By the way, you can also ask for ketchup/mayo, which will be brought to your table. We'd love to come back ✌️

The kebab itself was good but for €9 I expect a kebab. The kebab was very small and it didn't fill you up. Meat was good but dry. For €1 more you can get grilled vegetables, but leaving hungry again for almost €10 is no longer good.

Here they heat plastic-wrapped kebab kebabs at full throttle. That must certainly be very healthy

There is a myth that the Berlin kebab is the best, a clear NO. Best vegetarian kebab (Halloumi)

Had a very tasty and inexpensive lunch menu. Service staff was super nice. It wasn't possible to pay by card, I didn't have any cash with me, I was just allowed to bring the money over later.

I've eaten a lot of kebabs, but this one is just amazing! The meat was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the bread was fresh and crispy, and the sauces were simply heavenly. The ingredients were super fresh – crisp lettuce, aromatic onions and just the right amount of sauce without everything getting soggy. Add to that friendly service and quick preparation – it couldn’t be better! If you want a really good kebab, you definitely have to stop by here. Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately I can't give a positive review! When I came in that afternoon it was very loud, friends, family, whatever. Despite everything, this is a public place and you should show some consideration for others. When I saw the pizza baker scrolling around on his cell phone and then picking up the dough...hmmm not very tasty!! The dining room would be good if there was more cleanliness and the chopped vegetables in my kebab were overly acidic. Unfortunately I was very disappointed 😞

I've been a loyal customer of Saray for a long time - without question the best kebab in the entire area! The quality is unbeatable and the staff always create a great atmosphere with their good humor and humor. It's just fun to stop by!

Very tasty kebab in a stylish restaurant. As often described: you order at the counter, but the food is then brought to the table. Nice selection for veggies: kebab is available with falafel, halumi, cheese or grilled vegetables. There are also some pizza variations. The service is also worth highlighting. We were served by a young, quick and good-humored team - really high praise. In my opinion, the price of the food is relatively high (veggie kebab between 8 and 9.50 euros), but the taste is excellent. Among other things, there was hummus and pomegranate seeds in the kebab.

Mein absoluter Lieblingsdöner in RV. Das Bild ist nicht mehr aktuell, inzwischen ist der Saray in einem viel schöneren Laden weiter unten in der Grüner-Turm-Strasse.

We were in the region for a course on business and came across this restaurant by chance. It was very tasty and the service was very friendly even though it was very busy. We liked it so much that we went back there the next day, only this time with 10 people and it was even possible to reserve a table at short notice. All in all a great restaurant with delicious food, great ambience and top service 👍

Best kebab shop in Ravensburg and the surrounding area! Fresh bread, beautifully prepared and lots of nice extras - in a relaxed, stylish atmosphere - and the dudes, with family, behind the counter are the best anyway! Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately I can't rate the food there because they don't serve it because it's pure chaos in this shop at lunchtime. It's understandable that there's a lot going on, but the fact that you still can't place your order after 10 minutes because everyone is standing all over the place at the counter shouldn't be the case. The price is also rather expensive...

I can't get in because of this wheelchair... but it's still great... I know them personally. They would also help me with an e-wheelchair. That's why it's all cool, because not everyone does that 😉
