Amazing pasta we had. Reslly najs staff. Cute place, but i didnt get any cheese for my bolognsese and my girlfriend missed a spoon. Both things is a must on Italien resturant. But we got it after letting them know. Really recomend this place !

Estaba buscando un restaurante apto para niños donde pudiéramos ir con mis dos nietos bulliciosos. Nuestra primera opción fue afortunadamente plena, y mi hija recordó haber venido aquí con su hermano y su familia hace un par de años. Desde nuestra bienvenida inicial de Mario, tuvimos un almuerzo maravilloso. La comida era excelente y estábamos lejos de la única familia allí. Pero no solo las familias, las personas mayores estaban disfrutando de la comida, y no les molestaba que los niños disfrutaran de un almuerzo familiar. No podría recomendarlo más, aunque no sea lo que algunos considerarían un restaurante familiar moderno. Esta es una tradicional, buena comida, gran servicio, y los niños permitidos a ser niños.

We had a spontaneous dinner with some friends on Friday night, which fortunately was possible on a short term notice. The service was absolutely outstanding, very forthcoming, great recommendations and all around great! The food and wine was outstanding, 10/10 recommend.

During our stay in Berlin we were looking for a good Italian restaurant for our evening meal. Extremely good, typically Italian pizza and great bruschetta, as we know it from Italy. A really great Italian restaurant. The entire service is attentive, courteous and polite. What should be emphasized here is that body language matches the spoken word. Authenticity and honesty. The quality of the food is fully recommendable and rightly deserves a full 5 points. Statements such as: there is an Italian on every street corner are, in our opinion, incomprehensible. We reserved a table for each evening during our short trip to Berlin. After the first evening we didn't have to think about where else we would go. And no: the good menu offers enough variety for several evenings in a row. Congratulations to the “Alt Moabiter” on this restaurant. We're a little jealous of you... (in a positive way) Update July 2020: Despite Corona and all the difficulties for restaurateurs, the family business has overcome this hurdle. Hygiene measures everything was top notch. The service continues to be unreservedly friendly, polite and appreciative. The food from "Papa's" kitchen is real Italian cuisine. It is "our" restaurant in Berlin. Thanks to Mario and the entire (!) team. You're great. Have a nice, well-deserved vacation at home. Update 2024 Thank you for continued great food and drinks and attentive, courteous service. I can’t give this restaurant a full 5 stars. While it’s nice, the food quality didn’t quite meet expectations. Don’t try the first photo if you don’t like sweet pasta with the taste of vanilla!!! We tried one of their recommended dishes with pistachio, which ended up tasting more like a dessert—it was overly sweet and had a distinct vanilla aroma. The pasta with salmon was disappointing as well; it used low quality salmon rather than the best, which impacted the flavor. On the other hand, the salad was decent, and we were satisfied with it. Overall, this Italian restaurant is a good option in this area of Berlin, but it’s not the best.

Kleines, unscheinbares Lokal. Wir wurden unwahrscheinlich freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut, wir hatten verschiedene Pastagerichte. Nach dem Essen gab es noch einen Grappa aufs Haus. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, einzig das Lichtkonzept hat gestört, es war sehr sehr hell.

We spontaneously went to Sapori on November 1st. Although it was quite full, we were able to get a table for a while. We immediately felt comfortable. The service was quick and incredibly friendly. The food came quickly, was super tasty and, above all, authentic. There were olives and homemade bread in advance and a nightcap of your choice on the house. Despite the many guests, the service staff were very attentive and there was still a great, family atmosphere. We will definitely come back next time we visit Berlin. I honestly didn't understand the other very high reviews. We went to this restaurant and ordered two pizzas, unfortunately we didn't like them, unremarkable dough, tomato sauce like puree, ham that was more shoulder than ham. Furthermore, the boy who served us was also very distracted. Well maybe we ordered the wrong things. Or we are not the venue's target demographic. Or maybe both. In any case there are many other Italian restaurants to try in Berlin

Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante italiano. La carta è molto ampia e la qualità buona: le pizze sono eccezionali. E' sempre pieno e quindi molto "rumoroso". E' meglio riservare. Molto conveniente

Went there spontaneously today with 3 people, despite booking at very short notice we managed to get a table without any problems. Staff is very accommodating and very friendly. The dishes all arrived quickly, fresh and warm. The food was very tasty and the portions were very large. We'd love to come back

Extrem leckere Gerichte und toller Service. Auch die Weine waren excellent. Über das Preisniveau zu den Gerichten ist keine Aussage aufgrund einer Einladung möglich, die Karte sieht aber eher günstig aus. Gerne wieder.

Overall we were very satisfied. The service was super friendly and quick. The starter was fresh, the food was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. The prices were also really good and reasonable. We just found it really warm in the restaurant. Otherwise everything was great.

Very warm staff who can keep a conversation going, but at the same time remain service-oriented. Unfortunately, the food falls behind. “Spaghetti con triglio alla sicillana” (“Spaghetti with red mullet fillets, wild fennel, pine nuts, raisins and flavored breadcrumbs”) and fish are very dry, you can hardly taste any fennel, and you can hardly detect any pine nuts. Unfortunately, the breadcrumbs add additional dryness and no taste. The following tiramisu is very airy and light, with little coffee taste. Some of the accompanying plates seemed to be better, at least the quality was very variable, which was a shame.

Very, very nice dealings with the customers, everything was perfect. Food was A1. Can only be recommended.

Avoid! Expensive prices, small portions and simply no taste. Having to add a bit of salt and pepper to your plate is normal but, in this restaurant, be ready to finish cooking at the table, otherwise it’s simply bland like hospital food. Also, the menu refers to ingredients there are not served at all: “meeresfrüchten” can lead into thinking it’s seafood in plural, but all you will find in your plate are small frozen shrimps and that’s it. The service people try to make up for the lack of kitchen quality with their forced sympathy, but honestly, I’d rather be treated roughly and eat good food than treated nicely and eat hospital food with no taste.

Spontaneously dropped by with four people on Thursday evening and received a warm welcome. The pizzas tasted excellent and the absolutely warm and friendly service was rounded off with a digestif on the house. Would come back at any time!

The friendliest waiters I’ve ever met in Berlin. Welcoming, friendly, happy, joyful and kind. They were all carrying smiles on their faces from the time we arrived until we left. The staff really looked like they enjoy their work and really served us with pleasure. It’s not often that one comes across this kind of service, friendliness and professionalism all together in Berlin. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, they made us feel at home. Great, authentic Italian restaurant in Berlin. Very friendly and approachable hosts. Despite everything, I still had time for a few kind words. We were there the day before the 50th Berlin Marathon. Although the restaurant was packed and the service was very busy explaining to other guests that everything was fully booked; While we were also taking takeout orders, the service at the table was still good and very attentive. The food was very tasty and the waiting time wasn't excessive. The ambience is nothing special and it can get a bit loud at times. The wine selection is manageable but we found something delicious. Price performance fits. Highly recommended, reserve in advance if possible.

Super friendly and attentive service, drinks and food were served quickly without there being an assembly line atmosphere. Pizza large and nice and thin, with good toppings. We had Capricciosa and Parma - the latter is probably very popular, a little too salty for me, but okay. The former was very good.

Definitely one of the sweeter Italian restaurants in Moabit with great service and ambience. The food is also good, but for me personally nothing extraordinary. If you don't have such high demands on freshness and quality, it's definitely very good. I've had pizza and pasta here and that applies to both. But I would recommend the pasta dishes. I think the price is reasonable for the quality.

Pizza had to little sauce and was quite salty. 2/5 (disappointing) Wait staff friendly, but inattentive. 3.5/5 (fine) Atmosphere great. 4.5/5 Overall 2.5/5 This is my honest experience, but don't let this discourage you from trying out this place. I would like to try the pasta again, maybe it was just bad luck.

The Pizza here was unbelievable, had the Pizza Tartufata. Literally went back to back nights. Went on a 40 day trip throughout Europe including 11 days in Italy and this still was the best Pizza I had out there. Service was great too (shoutout to Mario).

noisy, crowded, we got a small table for 5 people, the plates are very big, there was no space for anything, terrible and super slow service, the food came all together instead of starters before mains (see before about small table) and was very badly cooked - when this was pointed out, the chef actually told us to get lost, and despite of having left plates full we were not even offered a free coffee.

Great service, the pizzas are absolutely brilliant. Pasta is also very tasty. I was on a business trip in Berlin with my colleague and came across this fantastic pizzeria more or less by chance. We were absolutely impressed by the service and the food. The service staff was absolutely brilliant and friendly. I can only recommend this Italian.
