San Remo in Heilbronn

We always drive the extra 30 km to Heilbronn to eat at San Remo Pizzs. The pizzas are usually prepared very quickly and are delicious. The service is always top-notch. We always enjoy coming back.

We happened to be passing through on a Sunday evening and managed to get a table despite it being busy. The service was very attentive. The menu had a large selection, including vegetarian options. The starter came quickly, and after a really short wait, we all received our main courses at the same time. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used in the dishes. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The meat was very tender. I think the restaurant has a cozy interior, and the owners have made the most of the building.

There were four of us, and the table had been reserved. Our table was by the open window, which I wanted closed. The waiter pointedly pointed out to me that the window would remain open. After I hopefully asked for another table, the waiter demonstratively closed it. After that, we were ignored again: we didn't ask for drinks or dessert. And when we had questions, we had to wait again. We (four women) came here on my husband's recommendation. We have the best memories from the past (about 30 years ago!!!) Unfortunately, we had a completely different experience. What a shame!!!!!!!!!!!, because the dishes were excellent...

Dort gibt es absolut die besten Pizzen in Heilbronn. Sind seit Jahren dort Stammgäste. Wurden mit dem Essen dort noch nie enttäuscht. Die Erweiterung der Gasträumlichkeiten hat leider negativen Einfluss auf die Gemütlichkeit. Die Besucherzahl hat sich dadurch erhöht. Wenn das Lokal voll belegt ist, wie es bei unserem Besuch kürzlich der Fall war, ist es dort leider wegen der enormen Lärmkulisse nicht mehr angenehm. Man kann sich kaum noch verständigen, die Gemütlichkeit ist dahin. Man kommt sich vor als wäre man in einem Besen. Schade.

I made reservations for 11 people about 4 weeks ago via cell phone. For my mother's 89th birthday... the reservation was apparently not entered... so I was told very snooty and cheeky at the counter that there was no room for us and that that was my problem now... despite proof in the HDY, they left us standing... that's how it is when you no longer need it... p.s. We then went to Toscana...food and service was top...

VERY DISAPPOINTED + STAFF VERY RUDE!!! No star PROBABLY DON'T NEED IT ANYMORE! Reserved 4 weeks ago for 11 people. They forgot to enter the reservation. So, no room, and we were told in a very haughty and arrogant manner, despite having proof on our phones, THAT IT WAS OUR PROBLEM NOW! Then we went to La Toscana! The food and service were excellent!

I love the pizza here. Fresh ingredients, not too greasy and you can even watch it being prepared. The service was attentive and very funny. Depending on how crowded it is and how many people there are, it can get tighter. It doesn't matter whether we're Albanian or Italian, we're all human and as long as the pizza tastes good, I don't understand the criticism on this matter. Keep it up!!

Very friendly and good service. Everything is quick, even when it's very busy. Pizzas are topped with fresh ingredients. A bit dark.

The four of us were in San Remo. Table was reserved. Unfortunately directly on the outside of the glazed winter garden. As soon as I sat down I noticed the cold draft. There was a heater two meters next to it, but it hung very high and didn't reach anywhere near our table. My friend also noticed it immediately and the friend later put the jacket on too. Three of the four leaders sat eating with jackets on. The restaurant was very well attended. When we ordered we told the waiter that it was drafting. He just said, "One person likes it and the other doesn't." Unfortunately, there was no offer to swap places. If we go to San Remo again in winter, we will explicitly order a table in the restaurant!

Was there for dinner yesterday, February 19th, with my girlfriend. Arrived at 5:30 p.m.: the "waiter" Leo in a rude tone: there is no reservation, they must have called the other San Remo, they can stay until 7 p.m. I then showed him the call log from the cell phone, no comment from him!!! My girlfriend got a salad whose sauce was totally over salted! After the 2nd fork was given back to another waiter, who was later called "Transporter" by Leo. Had to pay for the salad on the grounds that it was eaten. It is well known that there are personnel problems everywhere, but someone like Leo is unacceptable!!! Don't know if the owner knows what kind of unfriendly staff he has...never again in San Remo

Nach den Bewertungen zu urteilen, sollte es ein sehr schöner Abend werden. Leider nicht. Hier muss sich alles geändert haben, Koch und Bedienungen. Es war schrecklich. Kellner Leo sehr unfreundlich. Schreckliche Erfahrung. Braucht keiner!!!

We ordered pizzas. Very very tasty. Gladly again. We had vegetarian pizzas and an appetizer platter. I can recommend everything.

It was a rainy day and I just wanted to eat pizza. The waitress let me order without telling me that you had to make a reservation to sit there. There were several seats available so I could eat my pizza. Why should I come to eat with you if you don't offer seats and scare people away with your unpleasant manner?

If I go out for Italian food, then go to an Italian restaurant and not an Albanian one!

From the service to the food, San Remo is and remains the best Italian restaurant in Heilbronn. There's nothing more to say about it...

We actually wanted to spend a nice evening with a group of 14 people. Unfortunately, the mood was dampened right at the beginning by a stupid joke from the operator. He had claimed that we hadn't made a reservation even though we had. Only when it escalated did he clarify the situation. In my opinion, far too late. Instead of apologizing over the course of the evening, people continued to provoke with snarky comments. Can't understand such behavior. The principle "The guest is king" seems to be foreign to this restaurant.

Yesterday we were in San Remo again. For 30 years, always a pleasure and everything is top notch. BUT: Card payments are standard today. Unfortunately it didn't work because we didn't have a debit card. Dear operators, the banks no longer issue EC cards and the existing debit card could not be "read". Please get a new card reader so that it will also work with the DEBIT card. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful restaurant and I absolutely love it! The food was not only delicious and lovingly prepared, but also of the highest quality. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service - the staff was extremely friendly, attentive and always tried to make our visit as pleasant as possible. You really feel welcome here. An all-round successful evening! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back.

We had pizza, it was okay but unfortunately nothing special. It was quite cold for us in the newly built enclosed terrace. The service is attentive. Dessert at the end (tiramisu) unfortunately not so tasty because no espresso was tasted.

There was no food. Someone who loves Italian or Italian cuisine... Shoemaker stick to your guns. First start using high-quality Italian ingredients like San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte mozzarella, then you could talk.

Seit Jahren die Pizzeria meines Vertrauens! Kurzfassung für alle die es eilig haben: Eine Reservierung ist dringend angeraten, denn sonst könnte die Enttäuschung recht groß sein. In der Pizzeria bleiben keine Wünsche offen und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Egal ob Pizza, Paste, Salat, Fleisch oder Fisch, in verschiedenen Varianten wird sicherlich jeder fündig und wenn falls doch nicht, dann ist man so flexibel und geht auf die Wünsche des Gastes ein. Langfassung: Ambiente: Das Restaurant existiert seit über 45 Jahren in Heilbronn, ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit verschiedensten Gegenständen dekoriert. Egal ob ein Boot in der Ecke, ein Steuerrad oder Schiffstaue, es ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Bestuhlung ist schon recht eng gehalten, aber meiner Meinung nach nicht zu eng. Man kann sich noch bewegen, ohne die Menschen am Nebentisch direkt zu belästigen. Die Gerichte werden in einem Steinofen zubereitet und mir ist in all den Jahren noch nicht ein Mal eine angebrannte oder gar verbrannte Pizza serviert worden. Für größere Veranstaltungen kann auch der komplette Nebenraum Reserviert werden, wenn es mal wieder etwas zu feiern gibt. ;-) Der Chef und die angestellten sind wirklich herzlich und machen auch ihre Späßchen mit einem, da kann man sich wirklich fast wie zuhause fühlen. Etwas schade ist, dass die Außenterrasse für einen Wintergarten weichen musste. Wenn man aber das ganze Jahr mehr Gäste bewirten möchte, dann muss man Kompromisse eingehen und damit ist der Wintergarten eine annehmbare Lösung, aber dennoch etwas Schade. Speisekarte: Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Gaumen etwas. Vorspeisen, Salate, Pizza, Pasta, Fleisch und Fisch und dazu noch abgerundet von saisonalen Gerichten. Einfach eine top Auswahl. Wenn einem die Auswahl bei den Pizzen nicht zusagt, dann kann man sich auch einfach eine eigene Pizza zusammenstellen. Es gibt auch nur eine Größe von Pizzen und das ist auch gut so. (zumindest für mich) An das Dessert ist auch gedacht und meine persönliche Empfehlung ist, für einen gelungenen Abschluss, noch ein Stück Tiramisu und dazu einen Espresso! Es gibt aber auch noch andere Desserts. Sonstiges: Parkplätze: Es gibt in dem gesamten Wohngebiet ausgeschilderte Parkplätze, welche kostenfrei sind. Das Restaurant selbst hat leider keine direkten Parkplätze. Sanitäreinrichtung: Hier kann ich nur von der Herrentoilette berichten. Die Toiletten sind stets sauber und es war auch immer alles vorhanden, was vorhanden sein muss. Allerdings sieht man schon, dass die Räumlichkeiten schon länger existieren und nicht modernisiert wurden. Es hat für mich keinen Einfluss auf die Bewertung, da man dort nicht ist und für alles andere ist es ausreichend, aber kein Highlight. Fazit: Für mich und alles was sich zu meinem Bekanntenkreis zählt, ist das San Remo die erste Anlaufstelle, wenn es sich um das Thema Pizzeria dreht. Selbst Freunde mit italienischen Wurzeln, aus Großstädten, meinten, man muss lange suchen bis man etwas vergleichbares findet und das möchte wirklich etwas bedeuten. Preislich würde ich das Restaurant im unteren Bereich einordnen und dadurch kann man auch häufiger hingehen. ;-) Danke für jeden einzelnen schönen Abend den wir bei euch verbringen dürfen und auf viele weitere Jahre.

The employees are all very, very nice and have a great sense of humor. You feel very comfortable here. In addition, everything tastes very good, be it the pasta, pizza, schnitzel or salmon, everything is prepared very well and everything is very clean and tidy. The prices are also right. It's always a pleasure to eat here. I even think it's one of the best Italian restaurants in Heilbronn. There are few parking spaces in the area, but you can always find something.

Unfortunately we didn't really like our pizzas. The dough was not what I expected from an Italian pizza, it reminded me more of a frozen dough. The toppings on my pizza were applied very sparingly. The service was okay, but nothing more. When a follow-up drink order was taken at our table, our companions were listened to, but before we could order anything else, the employee ran away again. Payment by credit card is not permitted; the traditional method is to pay in cash or by EC. The toilets are in need of renovation. Once there are a certain number of guests, the background noise no longer allows conversation at your own table. In my opinion, prices are not justified for the service offered.

Hello, Definitely the best restaurant in Heilbronn. The rustic interior exudes a touch of history and the newly built terrace invites you to linger. The excellent cuisine is mainly Italian. Added to this is the first-class service. My insider tip! The tiramisu :-) Keep it up 👏

The San Remo restaurant is simply fantastic! The ambience is great and creates a cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The staff are incredibly personable and friendly, which makes the visit a real pleasure. The food is absolutely amazing! I ordered ravioli with spinach cheese filling and arrabbiata sauce and absolutely loved it. It was extremely tasty, I've never eaten anything like it before. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the quality of the food was simply magical. You can tell that there are real professionals at work here who cook with passion and skill. I can only warmly recommend the San Remo. Anyone looking for a great Italian experience should definitely come here. Many thanks to the whole team for this unforgettable meal!

You can eat very good pasta and great Italian pizza there. Very nice service. A place with an interesting atmosphere. The pizza from items number 20 and 25 is very good. The downside is that you can't pay with Visa Card.

Pizza may be good here, but unfortunately I didn't get around to it. We reserved 16 places with colleagues, I came 15th and couldn't find another place. The service was not helpful at all and very arrogant. Will never come back.

A very nice Italian restaurant with very attentive service and a great ambience. The food is the perfect size and tastes fantastic.

We called and reserved a table. (We had made a reservation beforehand and couldn't come because something important came up.) When we called again and apologized for missing the appointment, they said we were welcome to come. When we got there we were chased out of the store in the most anti-social way I've ever seen in a restaurant. Were embarrassed in front of everyone as a family. Very very very bad employees! A huge embarrassment as a shop. The best thing is we were regular customers before this happened.

Update, never again 👍 think the chef changed, canned mushrooms 🤮, rarely eaten so badly!!! Price overpriced
