Salvo Golf-Club Restaurant in Ober-Ramstadt

I was in the area today on business, and the Salvo Golf Club Restaurant was highly recommended to me – and what can I say? It was simply outstanding! Fresh, authentic Italian cuisine – homemade pasta, perfectly seasoned. If there had been more than 5 stars, I would have given it! A real insider tip – I'll definitely be back, even for pleasure!

A very nice restaurant with a great view. My steak was perfectly cooked, the potatoes perfectly seasoned. The chef's salsa was also a very good start. The chocolate soufflé is freshly prepared in the oven - and you can taste it! We all enjoyed the food very much, and we're definitely keen to go back 😊 The prices are also reasonable, and drinks aren't too overpriced. It's still worth asking about the daily specials. The tables were a bit wobbly, but they were quickly cleared. The restrooms were also very clean. In midsummer, the flies can be annoying, so it's recommended to sit further away from the bushes. It can get crowded in the evenings, so it's worth making a reservation. You can still find a spot spontaneously if you arrive early enough.

Four of us went for lunch on Saturday and sat in the shade under a large parasol on the terrace in the beautiful weather. The food was delicious: we had vitello tonato, saltimboca, Milanese schnitzel, and tagliatelle with prawns and arugula. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. The service was very friendly and attentive. In total, we were there for 1.5 hours, which was fine given the large number of guests. We really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, the delicious food, the friendly staff, and the view of the golf course and the forest. We'll definitely be back soon.

Definitely recommended! Very friendly owners, extensive and sophisticated menu, delicious food. I was invited to a wonderful spot, even a bit of sunshine, with a beautiful view of the golf course. In warmer weather, you can also sit on the large terrace, even for coffee; parasols are available! I had an Argentinian rump steak grilled to perfection, excellent flavor, delicious potato wedges, and a delicious salad! I'd gladly go back!

If you really want to eat high-quality Italian food, then you've come to the right place. Great dishes well prepared. The service is also good. Many of the current offers are then simply presented orally - as with the classic Italian - and you can then find out together what it should be today. The wines are really good. The espresso too of course 😀

First of all, a reputable-looking restaurant – unfortunately, the owners are completely unreliable (see example in this review). For celebrations, especially important occasions, stay away from this venue! We ourselves weren't deterred by negative reviews and booked the restaurant, including the terrace, for our wedding ceremony. Everything had already been discussed, but eight weeks before the big day, Salvo canceled on us at short notice – there was no response to inquiries (via WhatsApp). We were then left without a venue and had to find a replacement very quickly – very difficult. Rumor has it that the practice behind this is that if someone offers more (longer booking on the same day, more guests, more lavish menu, etc.), the owner will presumably evict you at short notice in order to make more money. We would have appreciated feedback or other support, but as mentioned, this was not addressed – so, unfortunately, as a final step, here is a public warning to everyone to please avoid this venue for important occasions if possible. You will thank yourself later.

One of the best places we spent to relax on the weekend. We suffered from the heat at first, so we were a little upset, but at the end of the night, we had a great finale. Mr. Ali provided us with all the service and quality we needed, thank you endlessly, we will be back from now on, I would definitely recommend him.

I've known the restaurant for years, even before it was called Salvo. It's not the first time I've encountered a bored, black-haired, female waitress busy with her cell phone. When I asked if it was possible to get coffee and mineral water after visiting the cemetery, she explained to me that I could sit inside at the four-person table without a tablecloth that had not yet been set, but only for a short time. There were no guests on the terrace or inside at this time. Reservation signs were not visible, nor was there a closed company. When I asked, astonished, whether everything was reserved and I couldn't sit somewhere else, I received a shrug of the shoulders. By the way, this is the third time I've had this experience at Salvo. The dinners for which I had reserved a table were also characterized by long waiting times. The food was passable, but not outstanding. There is clearly room for improvement, especially in terms of service and customer friendliness. But as I said, perhaps my experiences were the exception to the rule.

Great restaurant, good ambience, nice terrace. Delicious food. Service is very accommodating, you feel welcome. You can have a good time with the additional recommendations of the day. Always happy to come back.

Dinner with a group 👯‍♀️👯👯‍♂️💃 Food: We rated the food very differently, see pictures. Deduction: 1.5⭐️Personally, I found the salmon much too dry👎 (compared to many other restaurants) and the pasta too boring 👎 (homemade with very little taste). The tagliatelle was unfortunately overcooked by another person (personal opinion)👎 and was only eaten due to hunger (staff were informed without any noticeable reaction)👎 Unfortunately, in our personal opinion, the price performance here doesn't quite match that of other restaurants within a 10km radius. Service: Very friendly staff 👍 + fast service 👍 Deduction: 1⭐️Very wobbly tables (on the terrace) The tables we ate at were very scratched 👎 (a tablecloth would have helped here) 💡 Ambience: There's nothing wrong here with a view of the golf courses 👍 But it's nothing special either.

Great place with delicious food & good wine. Very Italian. The boss is a passionate restaurateur who knows and understands how to eat and drink well - you notice and appreciate it. We feel comfortable every time and look forward to the next visit.

Wonderful Italian food and wine. The antipasti plate was amazing. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside. There are enough parking spaces available. We were completely satisfied.

It was an extremely good combination of positive circumstances: the great weather, the start of the asparagus season and a table that had just become available in the first row right on the golf course. Italian atmosphere. I was able to use the busy terrace and it was still quiet and relaxing. There are also daily specials in addition to the menu, highly recommended. Service top 👍 very friendly and also a few nice words. I will definitely come back 😉

A beautiful, well-kept restaurant with a great location and the finest food. It's always nice to be a guest there. I haven't been disappointed once so far and can only recommend the restaurant and its friendly family! 100 points.

The Salvo restaurant is located on the golf course in Traisa. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the terrace offers the best view for a great moment. Plácido, the owner, brings the atmosphere that characterizes Italy. The range of food and drinks is very good and extensive.

Delicious food, friendly and helpful service. It felt more like a big Italian family reunion. Very pleasant. If you're looking for outstanding Italian cuisine, look no further than Resturant Salvo! It was hard to decide what to eat because everything seemed amazing. I had to stop looking at everyone else's food and thought, "That looks delicious too." So there are many reasons to come back. After one evening we decided we would become regulars. We look forward to eating on the terrace in summer overlooking the beautiful green of the golf course.

If you like good food with appropriate service, this is the place for you. It's been a long time since it was an evening where everything was just right. If you're tired of spending money on bad food and are annoyed by bad service, you should stop by here. The atmosphere of the host alone is worth giving this restaurant a chance. As soon as you have the food in front of you, you know that there is someone at work here who runs his restaurant with pride and love, and rightly stands behind everything that is served to you. There is no restaurant terrace with this unobstructed view of nature anywhere else in the Darmstadt area. Combined with really good Italian cuisine, a place of peace and enjoyment.

A great restaurant. I particularly liked the friendly and relaxed demeanor of the service staff. Unfortunately, the toilets can only be reached via a staircase in the basement.

In a beautiful location, excellent menu, delicious dishes, the finest wines...everything to your complete satisfaction! The only (small) point of criticism: wobbly tables, not nice to look at, tablecloths would definitely look nicer here...

I didn't expect to find such a gem in an environment that otherwise isn't necessarily my thing. Fortunately, you only see a little of the golf club.

Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Getränke auch lecker (guter Wein, Grappa, Espresso alles top) Etwas teuer - sehr schön gelegen direkt am Golfplatz. Reservieren ist ein muss am Wochenende immer gut gefüllt.

Tolles Restaurant, der Golfclub kann sich glücklich schätzen so eine hervorragende Gastro im Haus zu haben. Auf der Terrasse fühlt man sich wirklich ein bisschen wie in Italien. Das Essen ist hervorragend frisch und einfach ein Genuss. Die Getränke kommen gut im Timing und sind korrekt temperiert. Der Service ist angenehm, freundlich, schnell und nicht zu aufdringlich. Das hier alles stimmt, sieht man daran, dass auch viele Gäste ohne "Golf-Hintergrund" essen kommen.

Der Service ist super unaufdringlich, angenehm informativ. Den Köstlichkeiten, die mal eben mit viel Poesie vorgestellt werden, sind kaum zu widerstehen. Das Essen ist auf hohem Niveau von der Qualität und Genuss. Ich bin begeistert und hoffe es bleibt so.

Es war sehr sehr lecker. Wir würden sehr freundlich bedient vom Chef des Hauses u. Auch von seinen Angestellten. Ist sehr zu empfehlen dort einzukehren. Werden es dann im Sommer auch mal testen mit Sitz auf der Terrasse.

Das Essen vom Salvo Restaurant lässt jede Konkurrenz alt aussehen Ich bin mit meiner Frau und Kindern so gut wie jedes Wochenende dort und wir fühlen uns von Tag zu Tag wohler. Die Bedienung und der Kellner sind charmant und zuvorkommend. Im großen und ganzen wird sich der Besuch in diesem Wundervollen Restaurant lohnen. 😋😋

Das Essen war sehr lecker, geschmacklich echt hervorragend ohne großes Schi-Schi. Und der Service war herzlich, aufmerksam und sympatisch. Lediglich das Ambiente ist verbesserungswürdig, aber es ist halt auch ein Clubhaus.

Super lecker und erstklassiger Service. Ob Schwertfisch, Tagliatelle mit italienischer Soße ( Rezept muss ich mir besorgen ☆), Brokkoli Suppe, Carpacci, alle stimmig. Besuch Sonntag 4.12. 22 mit fünf Personen und Hund. Kommen mit Freude wieder.

Ich war jetzt öfters mal im Salvo Restaurant essen. Und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, obwohl wir unter jungen Männern als Gruppe waren. Sehr gute Bedienung, die sich um die Gäste kümmern und alles auf der Karte auch erklären können. Wir entschieden uns auf die Empfehlungen des Hauses und waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Es ist unser neuer Restaurant für leckeres Essen. Hochwertig, Qualitativ, leckeres Essen und guter Wein. Danke meinerseits nochmal :)
