Das Restaurant/Laden hat eine große leckere Auswahl. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer höflich und beraten gerne.

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Die Portionsgröße der Pasta für 20 Euro fand ich allerdings zu klein. Der Service wirkte sehr gestresst und etwas gehetzt. Zudem wurde uns versprochen, dass wir an einen freien Platz draußen gehen können, wenn einer frei wird. Als es schließlich so weit war, kamen andere Leute von der Straße und als wir darauf angesprochen haben, dass wir eigentlich an der Reihe waren, hat die Kellnerin die Sache einfach ignoriert und ist nie mehr an uns vorbeigekommen. Was ich auch noch nie erlebt habe, ist, dass man ab sechs Personen Antipasti bestellen muss (ca. 15 Euro pro Person), ob man diese nun essen möchte oder nicht. Es wurde damit begründet, dass es bei der Hauptspeise dauert und wir deshalb etwas zu essen haben. Ich würde solche Dinge aber gern selbst entscheiden. Alles in allem ist es ein nettes Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Für die Preise ist der Service jedoch nicht so gut und die Bedingungen sind komisch.

Eine Oase des guten Geschmacks in der Mitte von Leipzig. Kleine Karte mit wechselden Gerichten. Die Weinauswahl ist toll und das Ambiente zwischen Delikatessenladen, Hofmann,Winzerei und Restaurant ist toll. Erfrischend anders!

Die Salumeria ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um leckere kleine Vorspeisen zum Mitnehmen zu kaufen, regionale Produkte wie Günthrini zu trinken und leckerste Pizza und andere italienische Produkte mit hochwertigen Weinen und anderen Getränken zu genießen. Angenehmer und aufmerksamer Service. Nebenbei werden immer wieder kleine und größere Veranstaltungen mit vielen Winzern oder lokalen Händlern organisiert, die stets einen Besuch wert sind. Vielen Dank für viele schöne Stunden!

Beste italienische Pizza der Stadt! Wir essen immer wieder hier und seitdem bin ich sehr wählerisch geworden was Pizza angeht.

Die Entwicklung, die die Salumeria genommen hat, erinnert mich an das kleine Lokal von Nino und Liliana in Michael Endes "Momo", das von einer gemütlichen Trattoria mit familiärem Flair zu einem sterilen Schnellrestaurant gerät. Das Salu-Essen ist nach wie vor großartig, die Weine und das Verkaufssortiment ganz wunderbar. Insgesamt aber wirkt alles kälter, schneller, unpersönlicher. Etwas fehlt - und das können auch all die vielen schicken Gäste mit den dicken teuren Autos weder auf der Karte ordern noch selbst herstellen: Atmosphäre.

Falls man plötzlich eine italienische Küche nach dem Zoo Besuch verzehren will, hier ist genau passender Ort. Pizza ist Spitze! Getränke authentisch und einfach entspannte Atmosphäre.

Wir waren wegen der leckeren Pizzen 🍕 zu Gast aber die Speisekarte hat noch mehr zu bieten wie Vitello Tonnato super lecker. Aber auch die Auswahl an antipasti, Käse und Wurstwaren, essigsorten wie Öle Einfach alles nur italienisch lecker. Der Service war auch sehr gut.

Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man muss etwas auf das Essen warten. Die Speisekarte bietet einfache Gerichte ohne große Auswahl. Das Restaurant eignet sich eher für spontane Spezialitäten. Wer einfache, authentische italienische Küche mag, dem kann ich es empfehlen.

Die Personalpolitik ist hier nicht serviceorientiert. Mir wurde deutlich gemacht, dass ich als Gast hier ein Niemand bin und muss den Regeln des Restaurantes klar folgen. (Man hat das Gefühl man ist hier noch im Osten. Grobes Personal, abwertende Blicke von älteren Dame). Schade, ich würde viel öfter kommen, wenn man hier das Gefühl von Willkommen hätte. Das Essen ist etwas überteuert, guter Kaffee, Wasser wird aus dem Wasserhahn filtriert verkauft.

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant mit einer interessanten Weinkarte. Die Gerichte von Vor- & Hauptspeise, sowie Dessert waren sehr gut. Auf individuellen Wünschen wurde eingegangen, Fragen freundlich und offen beantwortet. Da wir auf der Terrasse gesessen haben, kann zur Lautstärke im Restaurant nichts gesagt werden. Sehr freundliches Personal; Gemütlichkeit eher nicht so vorhanden gewesen, aber wir saßen auch zu zweit gleich vorne an der Tür. Da hat man auch noch nah an dem Verkaufsbereich gesessen, muss man mögen. Die Plätze um die Ecken (etwas separater) sind glaube vom Ambiente auch schöner. Essen und Trinken war lecker, man muss sich nur drauf einstellen, dass die Gerichte etwas gehobener und ausgefallener sind und demnach auch preisintensiver.

Leider müssen wir den Kritiken anderer negativer Rezensionen zum Service beipflichten. So unfreundlich wurden wir tatsächlich noch nie in einem Restaurant behandelt. Die ignorierte Begrüßung und den schroffen Ton bei der Bestellung verbuchten wir zunächst noch als schlechte Tagesform und wollten dies nicht überbewerten. Nach der Vorspeise saßen wir knapp eine Stunde vor leeren Tellern, ohne dass sich jemand um unseren Tisch kümmerte. Währenddessen war der Nachbartisch, der deutlich nach uns gekommen war, bereits fast mit dem Hauptgang fertig. Üblicherweise wird in solchen Situationen zumindest abgeräumt – auch als Zeichen dafür, dass man wahrgenommen wird. Uns ist bewusst, dass an einem vollen Abend der Überblick verloren gehen kann und Wartezeiten entstehen – dafür haben wir volles Verständnis und würden dies auch nie als Anlass für Kritik nehmen. Da weiterhin niemand zu uns kam, fragten wir schließlich vorsichtig und höflich bei einer anderen Kellnerin nach. Diese reagierte freundlich und sagte, sie würde sich erkundigen. Kurz darauf erschien unsere ursprüngliche Bedienung am Tisch und maßregelte uns in äußerst aggressivem Ton, der jede Grenze des Vertretbaren überschritt. Uns wurde vorgeworfen, wir würden die Kollegin ‚durcheinanderbringen‘, garniert mit der zynischen Frage, ob uns das Konzept einer Menüfolge (Hauptgang nach Vorspeise) nicht bekannt sei. Wir empfanden das als äußerst befremdlich und schlichtweg peinlich für den Laden, dass eine Kellnerin Gäste so laut anschnauzt, dass sich der Nachbartisch verwundert umdreht. Nach diesem Vorfall war uns der Appetit vergangen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt abgebrochen und bewusst auf Dessert und weitere Runden verzichtet. Ein solches Auftreten gegenüber Gästen macht jeden guten Eindruck der Küche zunichte.

An sich die beste Pizza in Leipzig. Aber der Service war nicht gut. Wir waren an einem Samstag da und haben knapp 2 Stunden auf unsere Pizza gewartet. Das hat keinen Spaß gemacht.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und sind mehr als begeistert. Tolles Ambiente direkt im Feinkostgeschäft, einfach wunderbar. Super freundliches Personal, einfach „gut Mann“ 😉 und mega leckeres italienisches Essen. Angefangen bei Vitello Tonnato, über die neapolitanische Pizzen und das Risotto Milanese bis zum Tiramisu und das selbsthergestellte Eis. Ich empfehle unbedingt das Pistazieneis zu probieren. 😋 Fazit: Wir kommen wieder und das wird nicht allzu lange dauern.

Antwort auf Marie: Man fragt sich wirklich, ob wir über dasselbe Restaurant sprechen. Wir sind seit Jahren regelmäßig hier zu Gast – und zwar nicht einmal, sondern sehr oft – und haben durchweg genau das Gegenteil erlebt: freundlichen Service, entspannte Atmosphäre und Mitarbeiter, die sich Mühe geben. Dass beim Betreten einmal nicht mit einer theatralischen „Willkommen im besten Restaurant der Welt“-Begrüßung reagiert wurde, sondern schlicht gefragt wurde, ob Sie etwas suchen, scheint hier schon als dramatisches Ereignis gewertet zu werden. Gleichzeitig schreiben Sie selbst, dass Ihnen ein Platz gegeben, der Tisch abgewischt, die Karte erklärt und sogar Empfehlungen ausgesprochen wurden – also genau das, was guter Service eigentlich ausmacht. Der angebliche „Katastrophen-Service“ besteht Ihrer eigenen Beschreibung nach also daraus, dass man sich um Sie gekümmert hat, nach dem Essen nachgefragt hat und eine Pizza zum Mitnehmen einpacken sollte. Wenn daraus eine Grundsatzdebatte über ein fehlendes „bitte“ entsteht, wirkt die ganze Geschichte ehrlich gesagt eher konstruiert als realistisch. Vielleicht lohnt es sich manchmal, einen Restaurantbesuch etwas entspannter zu betrachten, statt aus jeder Kleinigkeit ein Drama zu machen. Wir jedenfalls kommen weiterhin gern – so wie viele andere Stammgäste auch.

Das habe ich auch noch nicht erlebt, obwohl ich bereits in zahlreichen Städten Restaurants besucht habe und meistens positive Bewertungen vergeben. Vorweg erstmal das Essen ist in Ordnung, nicht weltbewegendes aber in Ordnung. Empfehlen würde ich vorallem die Vorspeisen. Aber der Service… eine Katastrophe. Beim Betreten des Restaurants gab es keine besonders höfliche oder einladenden Begrüßung stattdessen ein ,,suchen sie etwas?‘‘ und danach wurde uns freundlicherweise auch ein Platz gegeben und der Tisch abgewischt. Danach wurde die Speisekarte erklärt und Empfehlungen gegeben, da es unsererseits Sonderwünsche gab. Soweit in Ordnung. Uns wurde aber in Gegensatz zu anderen Gästen kein Leitungswasser angeboten was wir als etwas ungewöhnlich empfanden. Es wurde nach dem Essen auch gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei, jedoch als meine Tochter darum bat das sie die restliche Pizza gerne eingepackt haben möchte fragte der Kellner ein zweites Mal nach und danach sagte sie diesmal ohne ein ,,bitte‘‘ das sie die Pizza eingepackt haben möchte. Daraufhin folgte seitens des Kellners eine regelrechte Belehrung ob etwas ,,mit ihr nicht in Ordnung sei‘‘ weil sie kein ,,bitte‘‘ beim zweiten Mal sagte. Das finde ich eine absolute Frechheit, da sie ihren Wunsch bereits mit einem bitte zu Beginn äußerte und sich keinesfalls unhöflich verhielte. Dieser total unnötige Kommentar hat den Restaurantaufenthalt komplett ruiniert. Wir werden sicherlich nicht wiederkommen.

Volle Punktzahl für Alles! Perfektes Essen, Antipasti war sensationell, die Hauptspeise sehr lecker und die Bedienung freundlich mit einer sehr guten Beratung. Und für einen Mittwoch alle Tische belegt sagt auch alles! Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hervorragende italienische Feinkost & Gastronomie in besonderem Ambiente Heute Mittag waren wir in der Salumeria Italiana in der Prellerstraße 54A in Leipzig – eine gelungene Kombination aus italienischer Feinkost, Vinothek und Gastronomie. Das Lokal liegt etwas zurückgesetzt und ist kein klassischer Laufkundschaftsstandort, überzeugt dafür aber umso mehr mit Atmosphäre und Qualität. Bereits von außen wirkt das ehemalige Fabrikgebäude mit seiner Backsteinfassade und den großen Fenstern sehr einladend. Beim Betreten steht man direkt in der Feinkostabteilung, wo der Blick sofort auf die großzügige, hervorragend bestückte Frischetheke mit liebevoll präsentierten Spezialitäten fällt. Wir nahmen im Bistrobereich Platz, der durch den geschmackvoll inszenierten Pizzaofen ein besonderes Flair erhält. Das Servicepersonal war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam und platzierte uns an einem Tisch am Fenster. Zum Auftakt bestellten wir zwei Gläser Prosecco auf Eis. Als Vorspeise teilten wir uns einen Antipasti-Teller, der abwechslungsreich zusammengestellt war: Schinken, Wurst, Käse und Gemüse in durchweg exzellenter Qualität, ergänzt durch sehr gutes, frisches Brot. Im Hauptgang entschied ich mich für eine Pizza Parma nach neapolitanischer Art – hervorragend gebacken, aromatisch und perfekt ausbalanciert. Meine Frau wählte das Vitello Tonnato, das ebenfalls auf den Punkt zubereitet war: frisch, fein abgeschmeckt und von hoher Produktqualität. Insgesamt wirkt die Salumeria Italiana sehr professionell geführt und vermittelt sowohl im gastronomischen Bereich als auch im Feinkostladen ein hohes Qualitätsniveau. Besonders hervorzuheben ist zudem die sehr gute und umfangreiche Auswahl an italienischen Weinen. Von uns gibt es volle 5 Sterne und eine klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen ganz sicher bald wieder.

Schöner Italiener im Stadtteil Gohlis. Leckeres Essen, auch wenn es preislich intensiv ist und die Portionen etwas kleiner. Ansonsten guter Service und ein richtig schönes Ambiente. Auch die Fleischtheke im Restaurant besitzt eine super Auswahl und ist definitiv zu empfehlen!

Hervorragendes Essen und erstklassiger Service.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit eigenem Hofladen und besonderen Kleinigkeiten. Das Essen war wahnsinnig qualitativ, die Pizzen sichtbar selbst gemacht mit perfekten Teig und frisch belegt, die Pasta auch gut gewürzt und cremig lecker. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich mit guten Weinempfehlungen. Der Auslöser, weshalb ich keine 5 Sterne geben kann, war die Unfreundlichkeit der Dame bei der Bezahlung. Es wurde sich darüber beschwert, warum man mit der American Express Karte bezahlt. Wenn man die Zahlungsmöglichkeit anbietet, kann man sich darüber doch nicht beschweren. Doch damit nicht genug. Ich bezahle mit der Karte immer ohne Trinkgeld, da ich dies gerne persönlich in Bar übergebe und weiß das es ankommt. Nachdem ich mit der Karte bezahlt hatte, wurde dann noch die Spitze geschmissen, das man mit der teuren Amex bezahlt und dann nicht mal Trinkgeld gibt. Die Dame konnte nicht mal wissen, ob ich Trinkgeld gebe. Dafür habe ich kein Verständnis.

Kombi aus nett eingerichtetem Laden mit großer Weinauswahl und Gaststätte. Tolle Antipasti,alles auch zum Mitnehmen. Der Service war sehr flott und freundlich. Die Pasta war uns ein wenig zu al dente,sonst hat alles gut geschmeckt,das leckere Eis sollte man unbedingt probieren.

Wir haben uns in dem tollen Ambiente und mit dem außerordentlich netten Personal sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Ein echtes Highlight! Das Essen war wahnsinnig lecker, kreativ und abwechslungsreich – und das Beste: Die Karte wechselt täglich! Man merkt sofort, hier wird mit Leidenschaft gekocht. Die Feinkosttheke und die Vinothek machen das Ganze zu einem kulinarischen Erlebnis. Auch die Produkte und Spezialitäten: hochwertig, besonders und voller Geschmack. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und direkt sympathisch. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder! 5 Sterne von Herzen.

I recently visited this pizzeria and was absolutely thrilled. The pizza was incredibly delicious – exactly as you'd expect: fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. This pizzeria was recommended to me, and I highly recommend it. The ambiance is very Italian and immediately conveys a welcoming, cozy feeling – almost as if you were on vacation in Italy. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a place I can recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great salumeria in the heart of Gohlis. A pleasantly small menu paired with a few permanent dishes and a great wine selection. Reservations are definitely recommended, and if it's busy, you might have to wait a bit longer for your food. Everything, however, is still tolerable. The vitello tonato is very tasty.

After a strenuous visit to the zoo, we stopped by with our child, admittedly without a reservation. We received a very friendly welcome and were served with almost loving care. We weren't in the mood for anything unusual, so we 'just' had pizzas. These were truly excellent, though. As mentioned, we arrived unexpectedly, which is why we were underdressed. If we're ever in Leipzig again, it will probably be a planned visit!

The Salumeria has a small, constantly changing menu due to its regional delivery, which means they even offer two different menus daily. I ate here because the pizza had been awarded a prize by the LVZ (Local Newspaper). The ambiance was very surprising, as the shop is somewhat secluded in a courtyard. In addition to the restaurant, many Italian products and antipasti are offered at the fresh food counter. I ordered a Caprese as a starter and tagliatelle as a main course. Both dishes were delicious. The service was very friendly but unfortunately, there was a wait. I spent about 2.5 hours here because I had to wait a long time for the dishes. The menu also stated that the Caprese came with grapes, which I wanted to try, as it was new to me. Unfortunately, they were out of grapes, but when I asked, I was confirmed that the kitchen was out of grapes. The waitress was very friendly and offered me an espresso on the house. All in all, the food is highly recommended, and I'd like to try the pizza. However, longer wait times are to be expected due to the fresh preparation and regional products. The price is also somewhat higher.

You're forced to order an appetizer over the phone just to reserve a table. That would probably be the case starting at 6p. Excuse me? Completely absurd and unusual.

A backyard deli that also offers restaurant service. Wonderful, lovingly prepared food in a relaxed atmosphere. The portion sizes are large enough to fit both an appetizer and dessert. Highly recommended. Fine dining, very tasty.

We simply wanted to spend a pleasant evening with pizza and wine. I had personally reserved the table at the restaurant three weeks in advance. When we arrived on the day of the reservation, I was quite surprised when a very unfriendly waitress told us there was no reservation. I asked her to check the calendar again, and lo and behold, the reservation was actually in place. Someone had obviously made a mistake, but instead of apologizing, we were treated quite rudely. We were told to wait outside and she would call us when something was available. After waiting for 30 minutes, we asked if there was a table available. Again, we received a very unfriendly, loud reply that there was nothing available. Finally, we were offered a seat right at the pizza counter. It was extremely loud there because a birthday party was taking place behind us. But on a weekday, just before 8 p.m., we didn't have time to look for somewhere else. In the middle of our meal, a table became available, and we were allowed to move. The food was delicious, and so was the wine, but after all the back and forth, we couldn't really enjoy it. At the end, when we ordered dessert, my friend jokingly asked if we could maybe have a glass of Prosecco on the house as a small apology. When the owner's daughter brought us the desserts, she said you shouldn't ask for something like that—and that the desserts would be on the house anyway. No one had told us that beforehand. So it wasn't a nice gesture on her part; it only came after we had already ordered. To be honest, I went home pretty disappointed. Not by the food, but by the way we were treated. A restaurant doesn't just thrive on good food, but above all by its people. And that was exactly what was completely lacking that evening: it was unfriendly, disrespectful, and unpleasant. What a shame. The highlight came later that evening: After 10 p.m., I had three missed calls from an unknown number. I called back. People – the pizzas – are sooo delicious. A real pizza stone oven. The treats from the counter are – delicious. A good selection of cheeses and sausages. Prices are a bit high – but if you're expecting guests and don't feel like cooking, the counter is a delicious alternative. Go there and try it. Ho & Di

Unfortunately, it was a bitter disappointment. Despite having a reservation, we stood in the aisle for 30 minutes while others without reservations were allowed to sit comfortably. In the completely overcrowded restaurant, we couldn't even hear ourselves speak, which is certainly a matter of taste and not considered a negative. The food was okay, but certainly not earth-shattering. When we asked if we could have a glass of Prosecco on the house for the inconvenience, we were told that "they" don't do that. We definitely won't be coming back.

I had one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time at Salumeria Italiana! The crust was perfect, the toppings were high-quality and carefully selected – simply delicious. The service was also extremely friendly, attentive, and warm, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The ambiance is stylish, cozy, and exudes true Italian flair. An all-around successful evening – I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

The food was delicious—fresh ingredients and attention to detail—but also very expensive. The crême brûlée is amazing. The Lagrein wine was delicious; it wasn't on the menu, but they served it anyway. Excellent drink recommendations. The herbal liqueur is also very pleasantly mild. Parking is available right outside for cars and bicycles.

Great location with a great concept. Unfortunately, it's a bit hidden. We discovered it today and were shocked to learn that it's been around for 25 years. What have we been missing? It's worth a visit for a bite to eat there or to take away. Lovingly prepared antipasti and smaller dishes with lots of humor and ideas. The whole place is decorated with lots of charm. They also serve main courses, and we'll definitely try them all on our next visit. Until then, best wishes.

The pizza is excellent. Fresh ingredients, and the pizza chef brought us a pizza that tastes great and makes your body feel so good, the kind only fresh ingredients can. The Etna wine is very good for us and delicious. The ambiance is very nice, quiet, and relaxed. We had very friendly and prompt service, who even advised us on the wine. We arrived shortly before 8:30 p.m. and didn't know when the kitchen would close, but the pizza arrived quickly, and as mentioned above, we were very pleased. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back. 👍

We went yesterday :) We both ordered the pizza Toscana (seasonal pizza) and weren't exactly blown away. The dough was more sticky than crispy, and the toppings were a bit disappointing for 18.50 a pizza. The table was wobbly, so I took down the decorations. The waitress welcomed us with the comment, "I don't come into your living room and move things around." All in all, we had a lovely evening. P.S.: If you'd like vegetarian options, please ask specifically.

Overall a cool shop with a nice idea. Daily changing menu with regional specialties and an Italian touch. Unfortunately I can't understand the hype. We've been there several times now and really frustrated the last two times. A restaurant that is always full and a boss who always looks like it's raining for 7 days and where you almost want to apologize for being there. Lydia, the waitress, is very helpful and friendly, but unfortunately she can't do it alone! The last time we sat with empty plates for 20 minutes and even the boss walked past several times without clearing up. My highlight yesterday: another attempt - because the menu sounded good on Instagram - unfortunately there was a different menu on site (there was no time to post an update). When asked how the cherry-tomato-basil spritz with vinegar tasted or whether it was sweet despite the vinegar, the waiter unfortunately only had an answer after many questions. The pizza was ok, but unfortunately it doesn't have the desired price-performance ratio! Service and hospitality - especially on the part of the owners - should urgently be improved!

I've been thinking about writing a review for a long time, but I'm just angry about the way the customers are treated. This was the fourth time in a row that I was at the “Salumeria Italiana” in Leipzig and each time we were met with such unfriendliness that my friend and I were simply horrified. The products there are excellent and were always a hit, which is why we really enjoyed shopping there. The employees in the wine department were also very friendly and took time for us. However, the saleswomen at the meat/cheese counter treated us as if they were extremely annoyed with us. People hardly dared to ask anything else. I will definitely not be entering this store again and will look for a store where you are warmly welcomed.

We came across this fantastically friendly restaurant/delicatessen more or less by chance and really enjoyed eating with friends. There is actually everything a connoisseur's heart desires... lots of great products from small manufacturers. The concept of restaurant and shop in combination is really great and when we are back in Leipzig, a visit to you is now a must!

Highly recommended! And a very good price for the high quality offered. Yes, it's not a vegan student digs (see one review), but a bistro with a delicatessen, featuring outstanding, predominantly Italian meats and cheeses. The bistro selection is limited to a few standard items and a daily specials menu—but everything is very tasty and even quite reasonably priced. I personally find the high chairs (inside) a bit uncomfortable. Sitting outside is in the sun. While it only has a view of the houses and the sparsely used courtyard parking lot (there's no other option), it's still pleasantly quiet, with almost no traffic.
