The food and service were great, including the serenade from the boss - you immediately got a holiday feeling. The hood gets the missing ventilation, at some point your eyes burn from all the smoke from the open kitchen.

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag mit ca. 25 Gästen gefeiert. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Das Essen war à la carte und frisch zubereitet. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und man merkt, dass das gesamte Team gerne für seine Gäste da ist.

Have been in Salento for a long time. We were able to sit outside, very busy inside and unfortunately also very loud. Service was very friendly, unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for two pasta dishes. The food was very tasty and put us in a mild mood, and there was grappa on the house. Maybe Saturday wasn't the right time, but we'll definitely be back October 11th, 2024 we've been to Giovanni's a few times again, service was great again and the food was very tasty. We always like to come back.

Wartezeit unterirdisch, über eine Stunde für 2 Pizza Margherita und 2 Saltimbocca. Die Pizza fad und geschmacklos, das Saltimbocca ohne jegliche Röstaromen, alles labrig. Wirklich ein Totalreinfall. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen

The bruschetta is super tasty. Crispy and intense in taste. Haven't had a better one yet. The Parma pizza is also highly recommended. Crispy and very well baked. Plenty of toppings and super tasty. Spaghetti naturale from the Parmesan wheel and tortellini were also very good. At the end we ordered a small portion of spaghetti with tomato sauce for our daughter and even though the shop was packed, it was delivered after just under 2 minutes. Class. Unfortunately, due to the busyness of the place, I wasn't able to order a flambéed crêpe with ice cream, but I would rate this as a positive because it tells me that the dessert is freshly prepared. It was a shame nonetheless. Service was super friendly and also very quick and accommodating. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, it's too far away for it to be realistic to come back again.

We ate here today and it was very delicious 😋 I had a Parma pizza, it was very large, so I had half of it wrapped up. Very plentiful and freshly topped. A really great price for €12.50. The service was also great. Super nice and you were served quickly and the food came quickly for 9 people. Highly recommended 👍🏻 we pre-booked a table, but there was still enough free.

We went to eat here after visiting the Playmobil Fun Park and were ultimately satisfied. The only downer was that everything took a long time, from the service until we had the food in front of us. This is certainly due to the difficult staff situation and excessive demands that are typical in many places, which can be forgiven as it is very understandable given the already very difficult undertaking of running a restaurant and thus making enough profit. The food tasted good (I had lasagna, the kids ate pizza). It was very positive that the children even received a Playmobil newspaper for free after their meal, great! Thanks

We had a wonderful evening in Salento with delicious food, super attentive and friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I can fully recommend the pasta Bolognese, as well as the various pizzas. We all really, really enjoyed it and we will definitely come back. There is also a lot of space inside and I can also imagine making reservations here for celebrations.

I had the recipe changed a bit today, instead of spaghetti with a parmesan loaf I used tortellini with a parmesan loaf, they were so delicious. Only to recommend.

Went to Salento for the first time today. The atmosphere was very cozy and authentically Italian. The food was very good and prepared with fresh ingredients. What is particularly interesting is the possibility of having spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel. I had the Parma pizza and was very impressed with the Parma ham and Parmesan, both of which were very high quality! The highlight of the evening was that the boss also sang. It feels like you're in a small restaurant in the heart of Italy. Will definitely come back.

It's very loud, it's a big room. The service is friendly and accommodating. The spaghetti in a parmesan loaf is highly recommended. The pizzas also taste delicious. A very friendly restaurant with honest service, even if the atmosphere isn't the nicest, it's definitely worth a visit.

A great experience! The staff is very friendly, they try as much as possible to make room for you even if you don't have reservations. Furthermore, you can tell that the waiters love what they do, since despite going a thousand miles per hour, they always serve you with a smile and with nice stories. The most important thing: the food is excellent, simple and good, traditional homemade dishes very well executed and very honest prices.

We always enjoy going there or picking up pizza. The innkeeper is very authentically Italian. The whole family is welcome. We particularly like the Parmesan pasta or the pizzas. If you wish you can also get one with extra truffles which is super tasty.

Waren zu dritt, und das erste was uns auffiel war die "Markthallen-Atmosphäre" im Restaurant: Es ist ein einziger großer Raum der wirkt, als hätten hier vorher Regale eines Discounters gestanden. Wenn der Raum halbwegs gefüllt ist, wird es schnell sehr laut und außerdem recht stickig. Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut, die Portionen sind auf jeden Fall groß genug. Der Service ist gut, freundlich und relativ aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist eher etwas für die kleine bis mittlere Familienfeiern als für Geschäftsessen oder romantische Abendessen zu zweit.

Service: Leider wurde vergessen, den Tisch von uns neu einzudecken... trotzdem waren die Servicekräfte sehr freundlich und haben sich gut gekümmert. Auffallend gut waren die Servierfähigkeiten und die Tatsache, dass alles gleichzeitig kam und serviert wurde. Das kenne ich sonst nur von gehobener Küche. Hat mich beeindruckt. Essen (Qualität/Geschmack): Einfach TOP. Es war wirklich jedes gericht on Point und schmeckbar, dass alles selbstgemacht ist. Hier eindeutig 5/5* Preis: Wir haben ca 42€ für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind gezahlt. Es waren eine Pizza, zwei mal Nudeln, ein Desert und drei Getränke. Ich halte den Preis für sehr fair und daher gabs auch gut TK und auch 5/5* Ambiente: Man Merkt, dass es ein Familienrestaurant ist, welches mit viel herzblut geführt wird. (Evtl. Sollten aber mal die Plastikteile an der Decke gereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden, diese sind stark vergilbt und schmälern den sonst guten Eindruck) Fazit: Wir waren nur auf ein schnelles Essen auf der durchreise und wurden von reservierungsgespräch bis Ende sehr gut behandelt. Ich würde dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. 5/5*

Authentisches Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen. Empfehlenswert sind besonders die Gerichte aus dem Parmesanlaib und die Vorspeisenplatte.

Pizza mit scharfer Salami, fast überhaupt keine Tomatensauce, sehr ! trocken - nicht schön zu essen. Wenig Salami . Teig und Salami o.k.. Service freundlich (flexibel und Entschuldigung mit Grappa) - Pizza Bäcker muss unbedingt instruiert werden. Lieber zahlt man 1-2 € mehr und bekommt eine bessere Pizza.
