Very tasty food. Great atmosphere, and you can't complain about the price.

I'm absolutely thrilled! The all-you-can-eat sushi on the conveyor belt is simply outstanding – super fresh, incredibly delicious, and always perfectly prepared. I've truly never eaten such good sushi. The staff is incredibly warm and attentive; you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The ambiance is also a 10 out of 10 – modern, cozy, and simply enjoyable. For me, one of the best sushi experiences ever, absolutely recommended!

I can't comment on the food or the atmosphere. We had reserved a table for 6:30 PM and arrived at 6:26 PM. They told us we'd have to wait another 10-15 minutes. There were no tables available! Why did I call a week in advance and make a reservation? We left. Not getting a seat despite having a reservation is unacceptable.

Everything is just right here!!! Freshness, quality, and excellent service are a given here. For us, this is the best Asian restaurant in the Iserlohn area! We'd happily drive the 20km to Hagen for this. Best wishes from Iserlohn and keep up the good work!!! 👍

After the change of owner the staff went down the drain and are no longer like they used to be and talk to you. The taste has also gone down. We were there for 2 hours and the same plates were turning the whole time. It used to be better.

Good food, sushi sometimes a bit dry but overall tasty and worth the price. We went to the running sushi and couldn't complain about the selection. You book a table for 1.5 hours and then you can eat as much as you want. Drinks are at normal restaurant prices and the service is very friendly.

The food and service were good, but there was no warning that we couldn't finish our drinks at our tables after 5:00 PM, and they charged us extra for the evening buffet. Even though we hadn't eaten anything from the buffet by 5:00 PM, they didn't clear anything away either.

Yes, definitely. I would just suggest labeling the breaded items to indicate whether they're fish, chicken, or duck. Otherwise, everything's fine.

Overall, it's definitely worth recommending! However, there is one small drawback: I noticed that after about 6:30 p.m., there was less sushi on display. Instead, there were more things like pineapple, kimchi, jelly, etc. Otherwise, it was very tasty and delicious! Best regards 😊

Super delicious and affordable sushi. A large selection of running sushi, excellent quality. We even travel a bit further for this. Even small children can find something here or get extra rice without anything else, which is very important to us.

The restaurant offered a fantastic atmosphere for a lovely, peaceful evening for two or groups of up to four. The dishes all looked fantastic and were of excellent quality, and there was something for every taste, so no one left hungry. The prices were also great and not too expensive; the evening buffet was €25 per person at the weekend, and the drinks menu also offered a wide selection at a very fair price. All in all, we had a fantastic experience with delicious food and drinks, as well as friendly, attentive staff who frequently asked how we were and whether we wanted anything else. We really felt at home and will probably go there more often now that we were there for the first time today after a spontaneous look at what there was to eat nearby after our trip.

I was there on a Sunday. I like the conveyor belt concept better than the tablets. Unfortunately, the sushi selection was really small and definitely not worth the €25. You have to wait a long time for sushi to arrive, and it's very basic. I only saw salmon (rarely), and no other types of fish apart from shrimp and the occasional mussel. It could be that there aren't any customers for that in the area, and they're more likely to accept fries from their plates *gag*. The service is very friendly: grade 1. The sushi selection, grade 4-. The selection in general: grade 3.

I gave a consistently positive review three years ago. I'm actually very satisfied! But today I was there and asked the staff if I could use the restroom for a short while, for a fee! Two employees refused! There's a hint of disappointment there.

04/18/2025---SUPER delicious and extremely friendly. The diversity has increased again. The quality is and remains great, whether sushi or warm dishes, vegan, sweet and salty, every time we as a couple find our experience. For €71 on a public holiday/weekend with 3x HOT sake and a large glass of water, an absolutely fair price. Mochi and tuna nigiri are available upon request. So everything you need for good, healthy, delicious food. We're happy to give a 7-10% tip, it's only fair.

We went to Sakura Hagen for the first time today and are absolutely thrilled! A “running buffet” on two floors: one warm (Asian cuisine, warm dessert, specialties) and one chilled (dessert, salads and of course sushi). The food is fresh, prepared to perfection, absolutely delicious! The journey from Duisburg (!) was definitely worth it! In addition, a great, friendly team that, despite the large crowds, always works relaxed but quickly. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening!

We already knew Sakura from Bochum and were very happy there, so since we had something to do nearby, we thought we'd go for sushi. No sooner said than done. We received a very friendly welcome and a good place was recommended. Then we tried the running sushi. There were a few things we hadn't seen anywhere else. A cheese sushi, for example. The highlight for me, however, was the avocado sushi. Very rich... simply delicious. Everything else was also very good. The fried sushi, in particular, had a super fluffy and crispy crust that wasn't dripping with grease. Only the markings indicating where the meat was weren't visible. All in all, highly recommended. Definitely one of my top five in the area right now. The ambiance could be improved a bit. It does seem rather austere. But the food and the excellent service more than make up for it. I've been to Sakura twice now. The food is convincing, but unfortunately the service is not. On the second visit we were served by a waiter who made several comments about me and my boyfriend's appearance (we were just dressing up for a date). He also made fun of my partner's order because he "only" ordered a malt beer instead of a beer. When I go to a restaurant, I expect to be treated with normal respect. It's a real shame, the first visit was really great :(

I celebrated my 52nd birthday there with my partner. We were there for the first time and not the last time. Food was a dream, very tasty. Service first class. Toilet also very clean. The boss is super nice. The selection is real enough at lunchtime, even for vegans or vegetarians. The price at lunchtime is worth it. I found it a bit chilly in the restaurant in winter.

We had to wait a long time for our food and the staff was rude.

So it's actually really nice, but there's a bit of criticism on my part. There's almost only frozen food there, and what's even worse is when you look through the ventilation downstairs at the assembly line, it's very dirty, almost like mold, which is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant!

For us it is the best Asian in Hagen. 💪🏼 The concept of small dishes passing by each table via a conveyor belt is not only more sustainable, but also makes the whole thing a cozy and relaxed restaurant visit. It also tastes very good. 👌🏼

Better than expected. Been there for the first time in years. Not exactly cheap, but when you underestimate the small mini portions you will definitely be full. And with a lot of variety. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer for what you want, but that gives you more space and time for nice table conversations. For those who sit with their backs to the assembly line, it's a bit stupid. It might be better to have one of the two run in opposite directions. All in all it was a nice, delicious evening. Service cannot really be rated as the food was delivered on an assembly line and there was very little contact with the waiter. Likewise ambience. Everything was functional.

My girlfriend really wanted to go there because there is a sushi conveyor belt that moves past the tables. Actually, I don't like anything that comes from the sea at all and was happy when the menu suggested a variety of other dishes (pasta, rice, salads, etc.). So while my friend was having the buffet, I ordered from the menu. We both really enjoyed it and the conveyor belt kept showing us new little dishes that we had to grab. The service was super friendly and the store wasn't too crowded. The portions from the menu are huge and are very well priced. All in all a great shop. We definitely want to eat there again.

Be sure to reserve a table for the weekend and state directly whether parts of the group want to eat "running sushi" (don't worry, most of the food on the conveyor belt - whether cold or warm - is not sushi) otherwise they will have to get up and somehow get in between Fishing through 2 tables. There are a lot of dishes on the menu for people who can't do anything with sushi, meat or "real Asian" spiced dishes, so they're also great for picky family members or groups Price/performance okay, service nice - but as soon as it gets busier, orders sometimes go missing, so order drinks/the next sushi plate/dessert IN TIME (especially in the evening, otherwise "kitchen closed") It's better not to go with small children in the evenings or on weekends, but it should also be suitable for ages 14 and up Good alternative when my favorite sushi shop is closed 👍

So far we have only ever reserved one table, I don't know what it looks like if you go there spontaneously in the evening. But at lunchtime there always seems to be room for a spontaneous stop by. The ambience is very nice, although many sit close together, you can forget how many are actually sitting there. Especially in the evenings, the restaurant is lit in a pleasantly dimmed light, which creates a nice atmosphere. There are always new things to try out on the tape, if something isn't there you can ask for something and it will be prepared for the tape. The ice cream buffet is included in the all can you eat price, but if you don't order a drink you have to pay a small extra charge. However, you will need to drink there because you eat a lot of food. The service is wonderful, you are always asked if you want something more to drink, the plates are picked up very regularly, regardless of how many have already been stacked! I can't complain, I've been there 3 times with my fiancé and we had the same impression every time. It's also great that you can watch the chef at the end of the line preparing the small portions!

I'm very reluctant to give a bad review, but we were your guests and ate from the lunch buffet. When asked if we would also stay for the evening buffet, we clearly said no. And afterwards to claim that this was a misunderstanding and instead of giving us the difference, to fob us off as if we had communicated it incorrectly, I find it very bold.

Dear Managing Director, We had a bad experience at your location in Hagen today because there was a "misunderstanding" (which could be interpreted as a scam). We were there for the lunch buffet, but we were charged for an evening buffet, even though we were asked if we would still like to help ourselves to the evening buffet, which we said no. How can this lead to a “misunderstanding”? After we pointed out the error, we were fobbed off without understanding it. So we paid €14 for a service that was not provided. In addition, the almost intrusive reference to the tip after we said that we were paying by card was very unpleasant.

The food is delivered on a conveyor belt, which is great for impatient people like me, plus the drinks also come in 2 minutes or less and the waiters are very personable! The surroundings are kept dark, but it looks really great, I couldn't find any counter-argument as to why you shouldn't go to this place. What the waiter did was rude! The meal cost 57.60 for 2 people, I gave him 60€ and he just gives me 1€ back! Of course I would have left a tip, but such a cheek? Food wasn't special either! Never again

There were two of us and we had to wait until a place became available, there were two more people in front of us who had to wait, then a group of 4 people came in, they were let in and the two people in front of us left because it was actually their turn Boss immediately followed, all well and good, we were sat down and just started to eat, the boss comes in with the two who left before and asks us to get up because the ones in front of us (THEY WENT OUT) while we are just starting to eat! ! Disgrace, that's no way to run a business, it's an absolute disgrace!!! Never again !!!

The food itself was ok, I had a few suggestions for improvement. It's a shame, for example, that there was/is sauce on breaded and baked chicken, making it mushy/mushy. I would then rather offer the sauce like that. Same with salad. The melon wasn't ripe, so it would be better to have a smaller selection of fruit. It would be nice to have a mark on parrying whether it is fish or meat. Why the rating is mainly only 2 stars: - The service preferred to talk to each other rather than to us - as you can see in some pictures from other reviews, there are black spots on the rails of the glass, which unfortunately caught our eye immediately and unpleasantly (hygiene and cleanliness) -I asked that there wasn't a slice of lemon in my glass, unfortunately there was. This confirmed the impression that we were disrupting the service in your conversations and that we were not being listened to

We love eating there. You can talk in a relaxed manner and eat at the same time. Children are also welcome there (high chair available).

Rating for All-you-can-eat Running Buffet: The food is often rather dry or mushy. Solid in taste. Since hairnets are not used in the kitchen, you can sometimes find a hair on the plates. The service is friendly and attentive. The ambience is simple. If you want to eat your fill, this is the right place. If you want to try Asian food, you should stay away from this restaurant.
