We went there for a birthday party with about ten people. The service was great and everyone was always friendly. The food was brought to the table quickly and tasted fantastic. We have absolutely no complaints and were extremely satisfied. We would definitely come back again.

Great restaurant. Loved the vibe and the food. The waiters were also very friendly. Had to take one star away cause they aren't flexible. We asked them to replace rice with naan, and they refused. Ended up wasting a lot of rice, which was not a good feeling.

The food at Safran was absolutely delicious! The Shahi Paneer, in particular, was so creamy and spicy, simply perfect. Very friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! 🙌

The service is extremely friendly and attentive. I was already impressed by the pleasant, young waitresses on an evening visit, and it was the same again this time at lunchtime. My colleagues and I ate from the lunch menu – the portions were generous and the food delicious. A restaurant I'd happily recommend.

Incredibly delicious food! Highly recommended. However, the lovingly decorated ambiance has deteriorated considerably, and I had the feeling there was a somewhat strangely negative vibe. One of the waiters only allowed us to order in English. Despite everything, the food was delicious, but unfortunately, the atmosphere and coziness could be improved.

The food could have been a bit spicier, but overall it was very tasty! The service was attentive, and nothing was missing. The value for money was definitely great!

We went for lunch on a hot Sunday. The chef specially found us a table with air conditioning in the ceiling. My husband's meal, although it had plenty of vegetables, was still quite dry. He tried my butter chicken and then ordered more of the sauce. It was served without a hitch. The price/performance ratio is OK. You won't find it cheap anywhere else these days.

The food there is absolutely delicious, my favorite Indian restaurant! Unfortunately, dogs are no longer allowed, which is why I was a bit embarrassed when I stood in front of the door with my dogs, who were usually allowed to come along. I'll keep this in mind for the future. And considering how many dogs aren't properly trained, it's understandable that more and more dogs are being banned... Much to the detriment of the perfectly well-behaved dogs.

For yesterday, Sunday, I booked a table for 2 people online from 6 p.m. If the booking is successful, it will be confirmed by email and you will even be notified of the upcoming reservation by email shortly beforehand! The Safran is in the building where the Wiesental restaurant used to be. There are plenty of parking spaces around (free of charge). To get into the building you have to climb 5-6 steps, so it is not suitable for disabled people (just a little information). We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose one of 3 tables for 2. After we received the menus, the order was taken shortly afterwards and the drinks were delivered quickly. The food was also served very quickly. I think it was a maximum of 20 minutes. I ordered the butter chicken, rice was automatically included, and also a garlic naan. My wife had the Chicken Tikka Masalla. The food was to die for. Especially the sauce of the butter chicken...you could have gone for it, so delicious 😋 The naan was also excellent, we were both completely satisfied. Both main courses, plus 2 King Fisher beers, plus a large sweet Radler, plus 2x naan bread were 53€. An absolutely justified price. If you really wanted to find a small point of criticism, it might be that the Indian flair is a little lacking or could be a little more, otherwise everything was really top notch and absolutely recommended. धन्यवाद

We were back at Safran after a long time and were very satisfied. The mixed starters were delicious and the main courses were also very good. We can particularly positively emphasize the diversity and uniqueness of the dishes. The service was helpful and even provided and lit a new candle upon request. Absolute recommendation! 😊

We were only there briefly to pick up, the food was delicious and we were able to order something an hour before the end of opening hours. The clerk sounded very friendly and the interior was surprisingly authentic. Since you can only choose 10-20 and 20-30, here's the answer: it was pretty much the middle for us (20). No dogs allowed inside.

The meal was excellent. Incredibly intense flavor. Service was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Ambience pleasant. The restaurant is worth recommending.

I'm always pleasantly surprised by the variety of flavors. About the dishes: The soups are delicate, spicy and have a very pleasant eating temperature. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are varied, tasty and well-prepared ingredients and a good quantity. The meat dishes are well fried, not overly seasoned and very digestible. When I ask for additional spiciness, I always get a delicious green sauce that packs a punch. Dear team, you are very friendly and attentive to your guests! See you next time!

We ordered lamb, but in the end we got a kind of soup with only 4 hard little pieces of lamb that didn't meet our expectations in terms of taste. The ambience is not very appealing. The 4.8 star ratings are not justified at all. Not recommended at all.

Modern Indian restaurant, with the well-known Indian dishes. Friendly staff. Waiting time (for freshly prepared food) OK, cleanliness good. The taste is European, spicy, but very good. Went there for a family dinner, everyone was thrilled. We would be happy to come back. Free parking available all around. Staircase entrance - not suitable for wheelchair users.

We were there for the first time and were very positively surprised. The taste of the food was a 10/10, The service was very friendly and helpful. The portions were absolutely great. The only negative point is that the food was not served on hot plates or the like and unfortunately it got cold quickly. However, that didn't affect the taste at all!! I will definitely go there again!

A culinary experience I recently had the pleasure of visiting Safran Indian Restaurant with a charming companion and I must say it was an outstanding experience. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decoration was stylish and authentic, which immediately put us in the right mood for our Indian dinner. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and was able to give us competent advice on choosing the dishes. It was clearly noticeable that great value is placed on customer satisfaction here. And now to the most important part – the food. The dishes were simply outstanding. The spices were perfectly balanced and the flavors took our taste buds on a journey to India. We were also impressed by the variety of the menu. There are numerous vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, so there is something to suit every taste. The portions were generous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. In summary, I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. We will certainly come back!

The food there is really very tasty and recommended. When it comes to service, I have points deducted because I had already ordered food to be picked up several times and then had to wait 30-45 minutes each time because the food I ordered wasn't ready yet, which is unfortunately really annoying. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir wurden direkt bei der Bestellung informiert,dass es frisch zubereitet wird und ca 20-30 Minuten dauert👍🏼 Reis würde ohne Probleme nachgereicht. Als Nachtisch empfehle ich den Mango Nachtisch😍 ebenso den original Indian Chai Tee. Fazit: 5 Personen sind sehr zufrieden und satt nach Hause gegangen. Namaste🙏🏼

Schönes Indisches Restaurant, schlicht aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr gut, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen ist super. Ich hatte eine Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten mit Reis und Naan. Das war sehr gut und von scharf bis mild, alles dabei. Ich kann den Mango Eistee empfehlen, sehr lecker. Zum Nachtisch hab ich mir den Schoko Lavacake bestellt, der einfach perfekt war.

Samstagabend angerufen und zum Glück noch einen Tisch bekommen!!! Zuallererst möchte ich auf den Service eingehen, denn hier muss ich sagen, wirklich grandios und mega freundlich! Eine Seltenheit heute. Alle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und auch ausgeführt, zwischendurch die Nachfrage, ob wir auch zufrieden sind! Klasse!!!! Das Ambiente ist zwar nicht typisch indisch, jedoch klar, übersichtlich und peinlich sauber. Das ist für mich das Wichtige, denn ich möchte in nem Restaurant essen und dort nicht wohnen. Das Essen war wunderbar und wirklich überaus ausreichend! Sehr schmackhaft, wir waren aufs beste zufrieden und haben nicht mal alles aufessen können. Die Wartezeit war durchaus im Rahmen, denn wir wollten einen schönen Abend (den wir auch hatten), wir mussten ja nicht auf den Zug! Ansonsten wären wir zum Schnellimbiss gegangen. Die Sterne reichen nicht aus für diesen absoluten Perfektionismus!!!

Eines der besten und leckersten indischen Restaurants. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Speisen der Hammer! Leckere und frische Zutaten. Feine, mit indischen Gewürzen abgestimmte Gerichte. Und das Kokos- und Mangolassi sehr lecker und eine schöne Empfehlung ein bisschen Indien "to-go" nach einem guten Essen mit nach Hause zu nehmen.

Super authentische indische Küche. Sehr freundliches Personal. Vernünftige Preise

Wurden herzlich empfangen und durften uns selber aussuchen wo wir sitzen wollten. Bedienung war sehr nett und hat uns auch bestens bedient. Wir waren am Mittag dort und haben alle das Tagesmenü genommen, dazu habe ich mir einen leckeren Mango lassie bestellt. Das Tagesessen Banana Chicken wurde schnell serviert und war sehr schmackhaft, meiner Meinung nach war nur etwas wenig Fleischanteil das wäre mein einzigste Anregung an die Küche, alles andere war sehr lecker und gut gewürzt.

Leckeres Essen! sehr nettes Personal :) Wir waren mittags um 12 essen, es war einiges los und entsprechend haben wir etwas warten müssen, bis die Getränke gebracht wurden und später dann das Essen kam.
