Saarbrücker Eck - Saarkebap in Trier

Unfortunately, I waited over 3 hours, then the restaurant blamed Lieferando. A disaster. I had huge problems getting my money back since I paid with PayPal.

Attached to the Saarkebab is a cozy pub, reminiscent of days gone by. A friendly and attentive waitress served me my beer very politely. Thank you, I'll be back.

We bought a kebab tonight. It tasted disgusting, the sauce was sour and spoiled. We got severe food poisoning today. I wouldn't wish anyone to eat there. Absolutely unhygienic.

This is the best kebab in Trier. I can't understand the negative reviews at all. The owner, in particular, puts in a lot of effort, is there day and night, and is always very friendly. They place great importance on hygiene, and the food is always fresh and incredibly delicious. We're regular customers and will continue to be!

A terrible rip-off. I ordered a lama with extra meat and got the worst rolled lama with mostly vegetables. The worst kebab in the entire Mosel region. And then I was charged around €8 for a salad roll.

Very, very changeable. Ideally, only go there at lunchtime or in the afternoon. Then you'll actually get the best kebabs in Trier. They serve chicken and minced meat – not top quality, but both are very tasty here and almost never dry or overcooked. Crisp, fresh vegetables, very tasty, usually really fresh pepperoni, and a well-balanced sauce. No homemade bread, just a classic flatbread. When the kebab is good, it's really good. Unfortunately, I've been there twice in the evening and got a really bad slop for the hefty €7.00 that something like that costs these days. The whole thing is set up as a kebab shop. I have no idea whether the owners think that by that time everyone is already drunk and has no expectations, or whether they've lost their enthusiasm. Both times, though, it was really unloving: the meat was still raw, less filling, and the second time it was almost all greens. The spit was running low, and they apparently wanted to get as many customers through as possible, so they half-heartedly filled the kebabs and basically served vegetable doner kebabs. You should maintain consistent standards if you're serious about running a place like this.

A great kebab house in Trier-South! The food tastes really good and the staff is friendly. There is not only delicious kebab here, but also other dishes from Turkish cuisine. There's plenty of space inside, so there's no crowding - perfect for enjoying in peace. Recommended!

The Saarbrücker-Eck has been there since I was a child. I like coming here. The food tastes good, the staff are very friendly and special requests are catered for. There is now even a delivery service. They are also very child-friendly there. Only the atmosphere could be nicer :D

One wall of the bun has completely dissolved in the sauce ;/ The sauce is also somehow too greasy, mayonnaise-y for my taste. Okay in an emergency but there are better ones in Trier!

The only good thing about the meal were the fries. After just two bites, a crack ran through my bread like tectonic activity. There was nothing special about the kebab, the meat wasn't crispy, nor was the bread. I didn't taste any character in this meal, except for the fries which were really okay. My highlight of the visit is limited to the fries and the delicious Uludag. I wouldn't say that the food was disastrous, but I would still rather invest the money in other restaurants that can give you a much better culinary experience for the price.

Absolutely disgusting I wonder why the shop is still allowed to sell food. I was sitting 20minutes at home thinking I would die because of my stomach. Please don’t do that to yourself and take the way 15min further to the main city to city döner, Mido or derwisch. They will probably be still open and won’t poison you.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has consistently decreased in recent years - but it is still in the upper middle range of Trier's kebab landscape. Unfortunately, the organization is a disaster - today for the third time an order placed online was simply canceled by the owner without comment after waiting several minutes.

By far the worst kebab of my life! The bread was wet, the meat was burnt and my son would have to vomit.. Outrageous!

The hygiene rules are maintained there. If you want to eat a delicious yufka (or dürüm) or a kebab plate, this is the best place to go. I can recommend to everyone.

The worst kebab in Trier. Boring bread from the supermarket and instead of proper garlic sauce with cumin, the kebab has boring tsazikki sauce with cucumber. Pretty expensive for that. They should go to the kebab shop at the main market and get something for themselves.

Clean store, good staff, service very good, friendly employees. I very satisfied. Doner tasted good. Keep it up.

We ordered from this kebab shop again today and are thrilled as always! The kebab was simply delicious, the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the sauce was simply delicious. The service was also very friendly and quick. I can only warmly recommend this shop!

We are here every Thursday and always have a good Turkish pizza! Wishes are fulfilled, great service, good portions and delicious chicken. Everything just fits! For me it's the best kebab in the city at the moment!

Ay, well done! They always work from dawn to dusk, regardless of holidays. You can always eat from the belly.

Very good kebab. I don't know where so many recorded reviews come from. We took the Durum and it was delicious. Very friendly staff, the place has its own atmosphere.

Ordered kebab to take away. After 3-4 bites I got stomach cramps that only went away after everything was out again. NEVER AGAIN!

KEBAB ist gut, aber leider fehlt der Sosse Geschmack, das kenne ich anders. Ambiente ist ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Great döner and awesome service. I did try going late at night one time as their hours were posted until 2am, they must of been slow that night because they were closed. Would eat here again.

Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Service war auch super und freundlich. Ambiente war in Ordnung. Jetzt kein 5* Luxus oderso. Preise sind im Schnitt günstiger als andere Kebabgeschäfte. Sehr lobenswert! Sehr zu empfehlen!

We walked past this place everyday and the food always smelt great. Decided to try it one night and was pleasantly surprised. Taste was good and was filling. We got the doner meal for €9.50 which came with fries and a drink. Have spent a lot more elsewhere on food that did not taste as good.

Leckere Döner Gerichte, schneller, freundlicher und Kunden Orientierter Service. Im Nachbar Raum kommt mit Uhr Trierern gut in Kontakt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind nicht mehr Grade zeitgemäß wird aber gut durch den Rest kompensiert.

Für schnell mal was essen, war es sehr angenehm. 👍👍👍👍 Essen war gut Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Prortionen sehr groß, da ich nicht alles geschafft habe, wurd ichgefragt ob das Essen eingepackt werden soll, ja gerne und er machte noch mehr Salat obendrauf. Dankeschön. Es war mir nur zukalt da, aber ja heulen auf hohem Niveau. Lass die Jacke an fertig 🤣

Personal sehr freundlich. Dürum Menü zum empfehlen. Dürum sowie die Pommes sehr gut. Preis dafür ist völlig in Ordnung. Hygieneregeln werden eingehalten.

One of the best I know. Consistent quality over the years, quick and friendly service to take away, very clean in appearance. Would recommend the dürüm kebab or falafel, which veggie balls are made from fresh ingredients, and usually large in size with a light sauce.

Poor quality döner. People smoke in the next room where the door is open to. They smear ketchup/mayo on take away fries making it uneatable.

Wenn Döner, dann nur von dort! Schmeckt mir lecker, da der Salat und die restl. Zutaten stets frisch sind, geschmacklich gute Sosse, das Fleisch ist lecker, auf meinen Wunsch hin wirds auch noch knusprig gebruzzelt. ;) Die Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich, für mich auch ein wichtiger Aspekt wieder dort meinen Döner zu holen.
