Ruff's Burger Therme Erding in Erding

Unfortunately, the burgers were pre-prepared and therefore served lukewarm, and the meat was far too dry. The man at the counter gives the impression that he's in a hurry and seems bored with the customers. For these prices at Ruff's, it's a real luxury; I would never go there again.

The staff seemed very annoyed and made you feel like you'd be better off not eating there. The prices were unacceptable.

The burgers are great, I just don't understand why they're sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller, but they taste fantastic. The staff also has their unfriendly moments, but otherwise they're great.

The food was good, but the service unfortunately let the experience down. The kitchen staff came across as quite unprofessional and unfriendly. When we asked about the sides (as burgers don’t automatically come with fries), the response was rude and dismissive. It felt like there was little regard for customer service, and at one point staff were even talking about guests behind their backs. It’s a shame, as the food itself was enjoyable, but I wouldn’t return because of the attitude and lack of professionalism.

The food was truly excellent, but the service was a huge disappointment. I've never personally experienced anything like it: I arrived shortly after the restaurant opened (around 12:13 p.m.) and was greeted at the cash register by an employee who seemed extremely unmotivated and made me feel like I was being a nuisance or even "too stupid" while ordering. Picking up the food unfortunately didn't go smoothly either. Although the cuisine was impressive and the food was delicious, the service was a huge disappointment. All of my companions had the same negative experiences. As long as the friendliness and professionalism of the staff doesn't improve, I unfortunately can't recommend the restaurant, despite the good food – as it greatly diminishes the enjoyment.

A family of four "ate" there. The kids' spaghetti was in a watery tomato sauce, with no Parmesan cheese on it. And it's best not to order the Caesar salad with chicken—it's a disgrace. The chicken was a children's chicken schnitzel cut into slices, of inferior quality. We couldn't eat it and had to send it back. The rest of the salad was unfortunately not very good either... plenty of greens, four cherry tomato halves without the insides, a few Parmesan crumbs from a bag, and you had to hunt for the dressing. It was absolutely outrageous to offer it like that for 15.90 euros. At least the service was friendly, and we were able to choose two free drinks as an apology. Hence the 3 stars for the service...the restaurant is, by the way, the breakfast restaurant of the Hotel Victory.

The burger was juicy and delicious. The fries were nice and crispy. We all enjoyed it.

I wanted to order pasta, but then got a lecture about how too many colleagues were on break and I should try again later. Five people were preparing burgers and three were working the cash register. Two of them weren't visibly busy. Unacceptable, considering you're spending almost €100 for a family here, and you have to get everything yourself.

Ruff’s burger is one of the many food options available in the Erding Therme. It is located in the vicinity of the Wellenbad. The atmosphere is wow! The food is correct, in particular the burgers: meat and bread are of good quality. Large option of sauces. The prices are overall not excessive. Recommended !

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the dinner and the service. We ordered two cornflake schnitzels, among other things. The meat in both was only half cooked. After we pointed out to a member of staff that the meat wasn't quite cooked, she said it was fine and returned the schnitzel, saying there was nothing they could do. We definitely expected more here, and especially more customer service.

First time at Ruff's, and then this. The food was actually okay, except for the extremely overpriced. But does it match the quality? The service and the self-service style are appalling. It started with ordering at the counter and ended with table service. There's a clear need for improvement and/or training measures here. So, revenue comes from effort.

I'm a big fan of Ruff's Burgers and was therefore eagerly anticipating a true Ruff's experience at the thermal spa. Unfortunately, my expectations – apart from the attractively designed ambiance – were completely dashed. What you know and appreciate from regular restaurants is simply not present here. From service to quality to freshness, everything that otherwise defines Ruff's is lacking. Sure, I don't expect full service at a thermal spa – but then you shouldn't advertise with big signs saying "handmade with love" when the only thing you end up serving is a lukewarm burger that was obviously not freshly prepared but simply warmed up. The fries also disappointed me: bland, standardized, no trace of what you would imagine high-quality street food to be. Overall, the concept at this location seems like a poor imitation of the brand – which is a shame, because I would have expected more from a franchise with such high standards, especially for the money. For me, unfortunately, a clear case of: promised a lot, delivered nothing.

Anyone who has ever been to a Ruffs Burger will be deeply disappointed. Everything that requires preparation on the burger is considerably inferior. The taste is as if the meat was fried in old oil, then set aside until an order is placed, and then briefly reheated. There is no service. You have to serve yourself.

€12 for a burger the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger, which doesn't even taste as good as that, is an absolute disgrace. Even better, though, is watching the waitress pour the drink. Anyone near Munich who pours Sprite first at a Russian restaurant should be fired. We don't even need to mention the ratio of 70% Sprite to 30% wheat beer. Did you find the employee at the bus stop this morning? Charging €5.30 for that is quite an undertaking. When, on top of that, far too loud and completely inappropriate music suddenly started playing during the meal, everything was perfect. The problem is that people are practically forced to eat in the place because the other "restaurants" are even worse.

I came here on a recommendation to try their burgers. I'm not EXTREMELY impressed, because it's not really wow-worthy for me. But in any case, it's worth a visit because it's not bad, the prices are ok.

Considering a thermal spa, the food was okay; other places usually only serve fries and currywurst. However, for a burger place that advertises "Homemade Burger," it was rather poor. The burgers were rather tasteless and were, at best, a better McDonald's. The vegan burger patty was simply mush and undercooked.

The food here is unfortunately inedible, the chili con carne tasted like vomit and the burger was horrible with a bitter aftertaste.

The restaurant clearly scores points with its stylish ambiance and pleasant atmosphere – especially convenient if you're staying directly at the Hotel Victory or prefer short commutes. The service was also friendly and attentive, and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained. However, the food, unfortunately, isn't entirely convincing. I had a hamburger for around €16 and a Coke for €4.50. For that price, I would have expected considerably more – the taste was more on the level of an average motorway service station. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't balanced here. Conclusion: Those who value ambiance and a central location within the thermal baths will be well served here. However, those expecting a culinary highlight should lower their expectations somewhat.

Pleasant surprise – very good burgers! As a family, we went to the burger restaurant in the theme park and, to be honest, we were expecting more classic convenience food - but we were pleasantly surprised! The burgers were really good, definitely fresh meat and the taste was a clear 8.5 out of 10. The price of the burger was also absolutely reasonable and fair - especially for a restaurant in a theme park. It was also quick, the staff was very friendly, and overall the experience was positive. We didn't order any drinks because we had already had something to drink in a bar in the park. If you like good, honest burgers, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

Started as a big Ruffs fan and ate there for the last time. For the prices I can get a 2-course meal from a star chef elsewhere. But what I experienced here today was an absolute no-go in terms of dining options! We ordered two burgers, each with fries. The fries were clearly and clearly not fresh but had been thrown twice into the deep fryer for several minutes. It's okay to do this with a handful, but two whole portions? You should then pay over €5 (!!!) for the fries. Which I also find overpriced for normal fries. It's better to eat something in the other restaurants and get something really tasty for the money. For me, after two bad experiences in a row (the first was the best and you became a fan, then two more that were good and then two visits that were absolutely wrong, each in different cities), Ruffs is now history. A “Crunchy Chicken Burger” was a ready-made chicken schnitzel between two dry slices of bread.

The food, service and ambience were top. It's just that the price-performance ratio doesn't fit. Way too expensive for the small portions.

We went to Ruff's Burger in the evening during a thermal spa day. You always have to remember that you are in a swimming pool, and the atmosphere is really okay. The burgers were also good, so we were completely satisfied.

We tried the Garlic fries, Mexico fries and regular fries. All very tasty. The fries are not salted. The vegan BBQ burger was not well combined in composition. Could be better. The staff was friendly.

1 star – Never again! Completely overpriced for what is offered here. For a tiny burger - there aren't any big ones here - and a portion of loveless fries, you'll set yourself back over 20 euros. The price-performance ratio is a bad joke. The fries were completely unseasoned, no salt, no taste, just dry and boring. The burger? Soggy, tasteless, absolutely meaningless - you might as well have bitten into cardboard. And then the whole thing was served on a cheap paper plate. For a restaurant this is really a disgrace. There's just nothing wrong here. Never again!

The restaurant belongs to Therme Erding and that's why the burgers are small and the prices are too high. 1 portion of fries (approx. 150g) for €5.90 is completely overpriced. Very tasty burgers and fries. And best of all, they offer gluten-free burger buns for a small surcharge. The wait staff was also very knowledgeable about the gluten content of the sauces!

Highly recommended. We ate there twice. We had different burgers with fries, spaghetti al olio, and spare ribs. Everything was excellent and plentiful. The price of the fries was a bit high. The beer was reasonably priced, though. The ribs were great. The spaghetti, too. And the hotel breakfast is also served like that. It doesn't get any better than this in a 5* hotel. A complete honeycomb at breakfast. Everything you could imagine was there. Superb.

The food itself is good, but the service shows deficiencies, especially the gentleman who is responsible for clearing the dishes. He was in a very bad mood and immediately snapped back when I asked him something completely normal. And then laughed really stupidly. This is simply not the case in the catering industry. The first and last time... When we visited the Therme Erding we really wanted to try something different and ended up at Ruffs Burger.... We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1x salad and 1x fries... The food was ready after a very short time, but unfortunately a cheeseburger was missing... After we announced that a burger was missing and only said in a mushy and totally unfriendly Eastern European tone that we supposedly canceled a burger. However, we had definitely ordered two burgers and the lady stubbornly continued to claim that we had canceled one! Of course, since we didn't get a receipt, we couldn't prove otherwise and were simply left standing there like idiots. Mistakes happen, but in such cases the complaints and, above all, the errors in the operation must be dealt with in a more friendly manner! If we had been told something went wrong and we found a solution, that would have been more than fine for us and of course we would have paid extra even if something was forgotten to pay, but such unfriendliness in person is unacceptable!

I had the opportunity to visit Ruffs Burger at Therme Erding on February 10, 2025 and would like to share my experiences. The ambience of the restaurant was really appealing - a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger. The decor was modern and cozy, which made the visit very pleasant. The service staff was friendly and helpful, but there were a few small to medium-sized problems that spoiled the overall impression. Unfortunately the burger was served cold to us, which is not ideal for a burger restaurant. In addition, the taste of the burger was rather average and didn't really meet my expectations. Overall, I would rate Ruff's Burgers 3 out of 5 stars. I liked the ambience and the service, but unfortunately the quality of the food wasn't convincing. I hope they work on these points in the future because the potential is definitely there!

Unfortunately the drinks are a complete rip off. Fanta and Cola are just water with a little splash of flavor and color. But burgers are very tasty.

Gluten free buns! Wow, I can finally eat a burger in a restaurant again. Very tasty burger, meat very good! When I'm at Therme Erding, this is my first choice! Fries also very good!

We were there for breakfast through the hotel and it was great, nothing to complain about! The restaurant has a certain flair due to the many beams and boats to sit on and is very welcoming. For dinner we had pasta and our daughter had schnitzel with fries and everything was delicious, I can't say anything bad about it. What's annoying is that anyone can go out to eat there, which means we dressed up for dinner after swimming and there were people around us in bathrobes or just bathing suits, that just doesn't fit and should at least be handled differently in the evening. Hence a star deduction!

Ruff's is the main place to visit when visiting a thermal spa. The burgers are quite massive.

To round off the thermal spa visit, a visit to Ruff's Burger, which we already know from Munich. Unfortunately it's not comparable here, it's really very expensive and the quality is rather average. The service and ambience were also okay, not really anything to complain about but not really positive either.

Ruff's Burger in the Therme Erding is a great spot to round off the day in a relaxed way! The burgers and the spaghetti with prawns we ordered were delicious and just right after a day full of action and relaxation in the thermal baths. Even though it's a self-service restaurant and you have to pick up the food as soon as the buzzer vibrates, everything worked smoothly. The process was uncomplicated and the waiting time was pleasantly short. At the end everyone was full and satisfied - perfect for a good start to the evening or for falling into bed relaxed. For anyone looking for a quick, tasty bite at Therme Erding, Ruff's Burger is highly recommended!

"I went to Ruff's Burgers today and had a burger with avocado and the truffle fries. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations. The fries were okay, but didn't have any special taste and were quite expensive for the price - I would have as more sophistication or taste is expected. There were some problems with the burger. The avocado was barely noticeable, which is a shame as I ordered it to give the burger a fresh touch. Instead, the burger overall just tasted greasy. What was particularly disappointing was that the bottom bun was completely soggy and soaked with fat. This not only made the meal harder, but also spoiled the enjoyment. I really expected more for the price."

Very little food for the price 👎

For such a big fun pool and the amount of food that goes out here, the burgers and fries were really tasty. I only deducted a star for the high prices, as fries cost over €20. The ambience is very nice. The tables are in the shape of ships, which the children especially loved. Save yourself the other “restaurants” in the thermal baths and always eat here. Because the other restaurants are cheap deep fryer food and not recommended.

We have one Visit to the Erding thermal baths and eaten at Ruff’s Burgerhouse. I ordered the BBQ double burger with an extra fried egg! The burger was awesome, really powerful and taste-wise the best burger experience I've ever had outside of the USA, although it can certainly compete with some there. Absolutely recommended for 16.90 with a fried egg 17.90 I can only recommend this burger to everyone! A straight 5 from me for that!!!

Let's be honest, who doesn't know the classic outdoor pool fries? Often seen, but also too often. You can take swimming pool food to the next level here! The burger is super tasty, a great selection and also different options for fries. Had the Chicken Clubhouse with the garlic fries, really good.

So my son's burger was okay, but I'm very disappointed with the spare ribs. I was really looking forward to the spare ribs because you assume that you get first-class food in a restaurant like this, especially since the food is quite expensive. The spare ribs had freezer burn and that was the only thing you could taste apart from the sauce. Afterwards I felt sick. I definitely won't eat in this restaurant again.

Yesterday we went to the thermal baths and looked at various restaurants. We really liked it here because you can sit nicely in the “boats”. Above all, it was relatively quiet; you almost didn't hear anything about the swimming pool anymore. We enjoyed both burgers. (BBQ Burger + Double Chicken) The garlic fries with it were great. Lots of garlic, we like it that way! Overall the portions were good. Prices are not exactly cheap, but still fair.

Fine for the location. Burgers are good but not earth-shattering. Side dishes etc. Likewise. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but not particularly accommodating either. After all, the food comes very quickly and the restaurant is a good place to briefly escape the hustle and bustle of the thermal baths.

Unfortunately not edible 60 € for 2 people. (2 drinks, 2 x burgers with fries) Where does the cola come from the bar? Best gastronomy? Unfortunately we couldn't eat our burgers. Although we are not touchy. But the fries were swimming in fat and the burger was unfortunately inedible :( We read the last reviews but gave it a try and now regret it. The thermal baths should think about something because this food is a disgrace. :(

Very tasty food and a cool location. BUT: Ordered 3 burgers. 1 without tomatoes, 1x without sauce. When we took the lids off each one and looked to see who owned which one, there was sauce on all of the burgers. Two of us had already touched the burgers. When I complained about the serving, the not very friendly employee accepted it and her colleague at the grill put it back on the grill plate. I said we had already tackled it, but no one cared. When I got a new burger without sauce, the grill employee put the other one on another plate, which was then even resold. When I was informed again that they couldn't do that and that I would definitely rate it that way on Google, all I got was "We don't care." That's not possible and unfortunately something like that is never noticed during hygiene inspections.

Really okay for a thermal spa, but there are better burgers. Prices are of course higher, as usual in thermal baths. Had burgers with fries and coleslaw. The staff was very friendly despite the stress and lots of people.

In the morning there is breakfast here (harbour restaurant). From lunch to evening there are burgers. I think the prices for the burgers are very fair. The Chesseburger had very tasty roasted aromas, with the Ruffs Burger you didn't really notice much of the blue cheese cream, but it was still very tasty, as was the brioche bun. The chicken nuggets tasted like McDonalds.

Directly in the thermal baths and therefore THE alternative to the other dining options in the thermal baths! Judging by the competitors in the thermal spa and the fact that it is in a thermal spa, the prices are more than okay! The quality of the food and the taste 👅 1 point deducted for the reaction of a waitress. My Red Slaw was forgotten which isn't a bad thing! When I complained (I was polite 🙂) I got a disparaging look from the lady and then she just slapped the salad into the bowl... Sorry, it wasn't my fault! It's a shame, otherwise it's fine

We were about to eat there with a group of very hungry people and a small dog, obviously sitting outside and were not allowed to do so because we had a dog with us. It's really more than a shame that these days there are still restaurants or burger chains where dogs aren't allowed, not even outside! That's ridiculous. It would certainly have been a shame if sales had been good!! In my opinion, Ruff’s should be boycotted by people with dogs.

We were just in this restaurant with 2 adults and 4 children and paid €113 for our meal. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but satisfactory. The order was not recorded correctly. The food itself also left a lot to be desired. Of the six people in our group, only two of the children really enjoyed their meal. The adults and the other children found the taste of the food disappointing. With such a high price, we definitely expected more. Our conclusion is therefore clear: we will no longer eat here. You can get good fries and better quality food elsewhere. Unfortunately the visit wasn't worth it for us.

I recently had a burger at this restaurant and I'm sorry to say it didn't live up to my expectations. The meat was very dry and there wasn't enough sauce. Overall the burger was very disappointing.

Burgers, fries, salads very good. There is still potential for more hospitality when ordering at the counter. But the employee who took the order and brought it to us at the table next to us was great this evening. He was very friendly and catered to every age group at the table.

Today I went to Ruffs again in the Erding thermal baths, right after a slide. This time there was pasta pesto. It was just the right thing for in between meals. In the evening there was a really tasty BBQ double with a crunchy side salad. To drink, of course, beers from the barrel. Highly recommended. Dear Ruffs team. Keep it up!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘💜

Food alright but again staff rude. Paid for chips extra as burgers come without chips. When picking up food I got no chips. When I questioned it was told burgers come without chips. I said well do chips come with chips. I was then served in silence. No apology and made me feel little.

We have eaten here for the second time now. The burger buns were too hard for us and they tear quickly, meaning you lose half the burger. The pattie from the veggie burger was tasty in itself, but some of the vegetables were very hard, which I thought was a shame. I can't recommend apple spritzer, it was very thinly mixed and there was little to taste of the apple juice. Compared to the price-performance ratio of the other gastronomy offers in the thermal baths, Ruffs Burger is still clearly recommended despite the above-mentioned aspects!

We were traveling with a large group and spontaneously decided to eat here, unfortunately there was a traffic jam and we arrived 2 hours later than registered. Self service, completely overpriced

Leider auch Selbstbedienung. Burger waren gut. Preise für Selbstbedienung doch recht hoch. Die Einrichtung mit den booten ist nett. Es war alles sauber.

Waren hier bisher bei jedem Thermenbesuch und wurden nie enttäuscht :) Preise sind dort, wie üblich für die Therme, natürlich erhöht, aber bei Ruff‘s Burger wird man immer freundlich begrüßt und das Essen schmeckt toll. Zudem ist das Ambiente mit den kleinen Schiffchen, als auch das Bestellsystem mit den Piepsgeräten, sehr angenehm.

Schlechtes Fleisch, knorpelig. Wecken sehr zäh und lasch. Keine Empfehlung und für diesen Preis niemals wieder!!!

Wir waren heute bei unserem Thermenbesuch bei Ruff‘s Burger essen. Ich habe einen glutenfreien Burger (Tagesangebot) bestellt und wurde vom Service (Kevin) wirklich freundlich und kompetent beraten. Er hat genau erklärt, was ich essen kann und was nicht. Der Burger an sich war sehr lecker. Er war medium gebraten, wie bestellt. Es war nicht der leckerste Burger meines Lebens, dennoch allerdings auf einem sehr guten Niveau. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Besuch, welcher mir meinen Tag in der Therme versorgungsmäßig gerettet hat!

Perfekter Service, freundlich und absolut zuvorkommend.
