Ruderhaus Böllberg in Halle (Saale)

A fantastic dance hall with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Saale River! Simple, well-kept guest rooms with a very good and plentiful breakfast. Camping pitches along the Saale River are also available. We'll be back!

There's a parking space right next to the house, a few steps down, and you'll find the dining room. It's tastefully decorated in the style of a rowing boat. The food is always delicious and highly recommended. The friendliness of the waitresses completes the experience.

Very tasty dishes at a very reasonable price, including a welcome from the chef. The staff were very courteous and quick.

The ambiance is good, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast. My only complaint is the "Thai curry" portion, which is a bit odd. The dish costs €15.50 and contains only 5 chicken strips, which seems like a joke. As a non-German, I don't expect authentic Thai flavors in German cuisine. So, I can't complain about that, but I should also praise the fact that the chicken was well marinated, but other than that, the curry tasted bland. I gave it two stars (1 for the service and 2 for the restaurant's ambiance) because, after all, it's a restaurant, and the food should be satisfying! My opinion might change, but I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

Ending the week on a Friday evening, we were able to sit on the terrace with six people and enjoy a wonderful view of Rabeninsel! The service was outstanding, from the waitresses to the selection of dishes! The food was very good; everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! We'd love to go back!

Absolutely antisocial behavior. The residents of the surrounding neighborhood are being bombarded with very loud fireworks in the summer (my dog ​​ran away and my baby got the shock of his life). It's really "hygienic" when the chef's hands are somewhere else and then handle food without washing them. Absolutely unacceptable! Unfortunately, we only noticed it at the end of our stay when the server went through the swing door, otherwise it would have been returned immediately! Service "OK," although often busy on their cell phones. This seems rather disinterested. Atmosphere with an old-school pub feel. Nothing special. Unfortunately, not enough "wheelhouse flair." This could be improved. Also, the staff need better training. We won't be back!

Good German cuisine with fair prices.

I called twice about a holiday room. Nobody could tell me whether booking was possible. In the second phone call I was told that I should send an email with the key details. I did that too and received an unfriendly, annoyed email (quote: "by phone, email and so on...") without a greeting. I should book directly via the website. Yesterday it was said on the phone that the occupancy of the rooms on the website was not up to date. You get the impression that guests here are rather annoying. We won't book. Good service can be different!

Ich war erstaunt. Klein, aber oho. Man sollte Plätze vorbestellen. Ein Besuch und Essen mit Familie und Freunden lohnt sich in jedem Fall.

Wir können den wunderschönen Saal, das unglaublich leckere Essen und das freundliche Personal nur empfehlen. Wir haben hier unsere Traumhochzeit gefeiert und werden diesen Tag niemals vergessen. Vielen Dank für den unkomplizierten Kontakt. Anne und Sebastian.

Wir waren dort zu einer privaten Feier eingeladen. Räumlichkeiten waren okay, das Essen auch, gab Buffet. Ein großer Nachteil, es war nur eine Toilette für Damen da.

Wir durften als Wasserwanderer unsere Zelte am Ruderhaus aufstellen und wurden freundlich empfangen! Das Ruderhaus ist gepflegt und das Frühstück lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mein Sohn war auf Klassenfahrt dort. Es hat ihm sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sauber, das Essen gut und das Personal war sehr nett. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage. Auch vergessene Sachen wurden problemlos nach Hause geschickt. MfG

Wir waren hier zur Hochzeit eingeladen. Tolles Ambiente. Essen war große Klasse. Einziger Punktabzug zum Service. Eine Servickraft für 30 Personen ist zu wenig. Sie war sehr bemüht und rannte sich Hacken ab. Hut ab. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Parkplatz hinterm Haus. Über das Essen kann ich nichts sagen, aber wir waren in der Pension, Doppelzimmer (2 Einzel Betten), dafür 80€, holla die Waldfee. Matratzen leider zu klein fürs Bett 🙈

Eigentlich verstößt man mit der Rezension gegen das Prinzip für mich, wenn ich sage es ist ein Geheimtipp 😉 Die Küche 6 Sterne und die Bedienung geht so 😂 Nein Spaß.., alles Super und sehr zu empfehlen. Dankeschön

Super Location, sehr nettes Personal !!!

Das Team vom Ruderhaus ist super. Der Service ist außerordentlich freundlich und schnell, das Essen sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe da und die Absprachen vorab haben auch problemlos geklappt. Wir kommen gern wieder. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter und alles Gute!

Für unsere Betriebsfeier war der Saal mit festlichen Tischen eingedeckt. Der Saal ist ziemlich groß und eignet sich für wirklich große Veranstaltungen. Der Service war sehr gut und die MitarbeiterInnen sind ganz schön geflitzt und waren freundlich. Das Essen wurde über einen Catering Service geliefert und war super lecker. Tagsüber befindet sich im Gebäude eine Begegnungsstätte der Stiftung Volkssolidarität, welche von Senioren und Anwohnern genutzt wird und verschiedene Freizeitangebote vorhält.

Netter Empfang und ein sehr sauberes Zimmer.Morgens ein liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstück. Ich war wieder für eine Nacht als Pensiongast hier. Leider konnten wir keine Nachtruhe finden. Bei der Feier im Erdgeschoss war die Musik so laut, daß die Betten in der 2.Etage vibrieren. Also nachfragen ob Veranstaltungen sind.

Im Ruderhaus, direkt an der Saale gelegen, kann man zu einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bodenständige deutsche Küche genießen. Die freundliche Bedienung ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam. Eine Resevierung ist zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben eine Hochzeitsfeier bei euch gefeiert und es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt inkl Übernachtung. Die Zimmer waren sehr ordentlich und für den Preis von 50,- pro Nacht auch völlig in Ordnung. Frühstück incl. Werde euch gerne weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank auch an Martina. Eine tolle Sportanlage mit einem sehr schön gelegenen Restaurant, wo man auch schon draußen sitzen kann

Wir waren spontan dort. Das Essen war zwar nicht schlecht, aber Backfisch wurde mal schnell in die Friteuse geschmissen, genau so wie die Schnitzel Das wurde nicht per Hand paniert und auch nicht in der Pfanne gebraten, was man normalerweise erwartet in einem Restaurant. Das war auf jeden Fall aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Ein Tipp an den Koch.... die Bratkartoffeln sind bei unseren Männern nicht gut angekommen, sie waren matchig und auch angebrannt. Die Gemüsegaritur wurde dafür hübsch auf dem Teller angerichtet und war frisch. Man sollte frische Schnitzel nehmen und auch knusprige Bratkartoffeln dürften für einen gelernten Koch kein Problem sein. Mal sehen ob sich beim nächsten mal etwas geändert hat.

Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Personal sehr Herzlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen super lecker und top angerichtet.

Sportstätte mit langer Tradition. Gaststätte mit gutem Angebot. Freundliches Personal mit gutem Service. Übernachtungen möglich.

Lecker Essen zu humanen Preisen

Ja es gibt sie noch, die tollen kleinen Restaurants die dir noch lange nach dem Besuch ein Lächeln in das Gesicht zaubern. Ein nettes Team ,ein Koch der sein Handwerk versteht und ein Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis was fair und gerechtfertigt ist. Gut das es so versteckt liegt da bekommt man in der Woche auch Platz😉. Neben der normalen Speisekarte gibt es eine Zusatzkarte mit saisonalen Gerichten. Wir hatten das Wildgulasch und die Leber. Geschmeckt hat es uns sehr gut!
