Truly exceptionally rarely have I visited a restaurant as good as this one.

Very delicious food, very attentive waiters. We'd be happy to come back. The food was super quick.

Meiner Meinung nach ist hier jeder Besuch sein Geld wert. Das Essen ist immer wieder aromatisch und lecker, abgestimmt mit tollen Gewürzen, heiß und frisch auf den Tisch gebracht. Es werden extra Wünsche berücksichtigt und Fragen zu manchmal unbekannten Komponenten in Gerichten freundlich und geduldig beantwortet. Die Jungs sind auf Zack, sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam! Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne zu einer indischen Geschmacksexplosion und netten Gesprächen zu euch. Macht weiter so 👍!

Super tasty, at reasonable prices, always happy to be there

Extensive menu and relatively large and very noisy dining area. The food is served very quickly, the quality is ok. But you can already tell that mainstream is popular here, i.e. the food be very prepared. But that doesn't suit the multitude of dishes.

The food is so delicious and there is also a great selection of lassi. It's not really pretty there, but the food is so good that that's of secondary importance to me.

Very disappointing - never again! These were by far the worst samosas we have ever eaten. There was a hair in the filling, the food looked like it was from the day before, and the salad was old. The taste of the sauces was indefinable – a real mystery. In addition, the delivery arrived extremely late, which meant everything was cold. This combination of poor quality, unhygienic preparation and untimely delivery was simply disappointing and downright traumatizing for us. We definitely won't order here again.

We had been to this restaurant and had vegetarian dishes. Food is somewhat good but there is a lot of scope for improvement. All dishes tasted almost similar. Restuarant is quite big and at great location. Ambience is average. Expensive compared to prices!

Man, that was delicious. I tried different dishes at my table and found them all very, very tasty. Of course it's a matter of taste but I don't feel bad, as I often do after restaurants because everything was too greasy. That's already worth 5 stars. 😂👍

Very good restaurant and very good service. We usually eat in different Indian restaurants and this one was very good. The mango lassi is amazing, as are the rest of the dishes. The only downside is the garlic naan, there is a lot of garlic and it becomes complicated to eat. Our server was very welcoming. I will return there during my next visit to Cologne.

Typical Indian dishes that are prepared to perfection

This restaurant really knows how to make the best Northern Indian dishes. They have a plenty of vegetarian options, with or without paneer. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they also make a Hakka dish Chilli Paneer. For the dishes with chicken, they prepare them with chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts.

So I have to honestly admit that I wasn't much of a fan of Indian cuisine. But that has now changed. Super tasty dishes and didn't have to wait long at all. The service was very courteous and friendly. It got a bit loud later, but of course that was because the restaurant was very busy. Please make a reservation and have fun trying it!

I think the store is good. Always friendly, tasty, nicely decorated and the prices are good too. The lunch menu is cheap. There is a lot of space here.

The absolute best restaurant in Leverkusen! The dishes taste incredibly delicious, so I order there to pick up several times a month. The restaurant could be decorated a little more lovingly, but with such delicious food, I'm happy to turn a blind eye :) The only negative thing is that you can't pay by card when picking up, although it would be possible in principle. This is often annoying, but there are banks nearby to collect money

Great food, great staff and great ambience

I visited the Royal Punjab and was excited about the Indian cuisine as I had heard a lot of good things. First I ordered the butter chicken, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. I then tried another dish made with coriander. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of coriander, so this dish didn't convince me either. When the waiter asked me if everything was okay, I initially politely replied, “Yes.” But he immediately noticed that something was wrong and asked again. Finally, I honestly told him that the butter chicken was too sweet for me. His reaction was truly remarkable: he offered to choose a different dish to take away – on the house! I later tried this dish at home and I have to say: it absolutely blew my socks off! The flavor was superb, perfectly balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for from a visit to Royal Punjab. The service was incredibly attentive and saved my evening despite the initial disappointment. I will definitely come back and am impressed by the customer focus and the quality of the food. Thank you!

Very good Indian restaurant with great food and drinks at fair prices. Even if you're a spicy eater like me, you can enjoy very spicy food here. A visit is really worth it.

I like Indian cuisine and have eaten in many Indian restaurants in Cologne and elsewhere. The choice of food is varied and everything was very good. The service is attentive and tried hard. The price-performance ratio is very good. A tiny point of criticism is the ambience. Everything is set up the way you would imagine an Indian restaurant to be. However, the restaurant consists of two large rooms that do not offer any comfort. You can usually park embarrassingly right next door on the market square. Another plus: You can also order food and drinks for delivery via Wolt. Works very well.

It's average Hotel... not that good , they serve me Tomato and Lot much of Onion in dish Of Panner and taste was average and lassi also not good it was just a water like buttermilk with sweet in it ... indian lassi is so thick that we need to drink it with spoon and average but not that good and little expensive then other indian restaurant

Always very tasty! We love going to Royal Punjab, whether as a couple, with friends, family or colleagues. The meat is simply super tender and everyone can choose a level of spiciness for their own dish. There is always something delicious to eat for everyone and the price-performance ratio is very fair.

My recommendation is clearly number 51 on the menu. A grill plate at its best, delicious sauce and served hot. 5 🌟 ✨️

As always, super delicious, both the vegetarian items and everything else. The mango lasso is also always delicious. The meat was very tender. The ambience could be a little nicer as the room is very large and not so cozy but still nicely decorated. All employees very nice.

Update: everything is still good, since the store was very full yesterday, on a Saturday, the service was a bit inattentive and unfortunately "he" didn't understand what we wanted very well. 🙈 The lower area on the way to the toilets needs a bit of sprucing up. Very nice little Indian restaurant. We were very happy with the chicken and lamb. It's just Indian and the spices aren't for everyone. I'll be back very soon. 😍

There is always a taste explosion from fresh dishes that are prepared with love and passion and served with a smile. Every visit to the ROYAL PUNJAB in Opladen is pure joy for the stomach and heart! Anyone who has been there once and received such a friendly welcome and food in a cozy atmosphere will always be happy to come back. A loving musical accompaniment of Indian sounds rounds off the visit!

That is probably the most delicious food I ever ate. It was really good. I can't say anything bad about it. It's not too expensive, and you can choose between "slightly spicy" "good spice" and "very spicy" and I can tell you, if you want you can really burn your taste buds. It was very delicious, and the service was very fast and friendly. I can really recommend it.

We were guests here with 2 people. The food tastes very good and offers different levels of spiciness. The service is friendly and quick. The ambience is just a matter of taste. However, I only give it 3 points because it is very expensive. (2 people butter chicken and lamb curry) Cost €50. That's too much in my opinion. It was delicious, but because it is so expensive we will only eat here on special occasions.

Delicious, authentic Indian food for good value for money. The portions are usually so large that you can always have something packed at the end. My favorite Chicken Tika and Butter Nan (bread).

The ambience and service is great however the food was not much to my liking.

The food is excellent and authentic. You can choose the level of spiciness yourself, although "slightly spicy" is quite spicy for German tongues. Very nice and attentive service. The toilets have since been modernized and are now perfect and very well maintained. Only the ambience of the guest room is not very appealing and not very comfortable. We accept that because of the great food.

Best Indian restaurant in Leverkusen 👍 Large selection of food. Very courteous service, friendly staff! It is advisable to reserve a table. Parking spaces (market square) are right in front of the door. These are subject to a fee. Small important addendum: The toilets are even handicapped accessible and really clean👍 have a stair lift👍 Pro tip: tested the lunch menu today, “smaller portions” for a little less money, still perfectly adequate 😀 The waiter told us the offer lasts until 4 p.m.

I must acknowledge the food was absolutely amazing. The chicken biryani was spectacular and the paneer curry was excellent! The service could be a bit more personal, but overall I enjoyed the food a lot. I will definitely stop by here in the future while passing by Germany :)

The food is delicious and the reduced lunch price is a great thing. The ambience is a bit uncomfortable, the walk to the toilets could be less uncomfortable and the furniture could use a new coat of paint. Service ok, not bad but not fast or particularly attentive either. Once at lunchtime the evening portion was simply served at the evening price without asking about the lunch offer. Shouldn't happen. We will go again, but be careful when ordering.

I went to the Royal Punjab restaurant with my family and ordered butter roti, chicken curry, dal, and paneer Curry and taste wise it's delicious.i would recommend it to anyone looking for Indian food near Leverkusen. This is the place where you get all the food and taste wise it's awesome.

An excellent address for good food for years. From vegetarian curries to grilled platters to the biryanis, I have had without exception good experiences with the selected dishes. The naan breads are always fresh, and the level of spiciness can always be adjusted individually for each dish to suit the guest's tolerance. I also recommend making a reservation during the week, as this popular restaurant is usually busy every day. If there were existing dietary restrictions, we were able to receive competent information; Many vegetarian dishes can also be made vegan upon request - including the naan bread (thanks to vegan "butter").

I love Indian food. If you don't know what you're looking for (beginner Indian eaters), you'll get very nice advice about spiciness and taste here. So far I have only used the outside seating. I can completely recommend it.

Unfortunately, the service and management are not in the least interested in accommodating customers when the absolutely run-of-the-mill food with no taste and the consistency of mush is served and the full price is still charged. Even if it's enough for Opladen, you shouldn't settle for a third-rate fast food joint. I advise against and recommend the South Indian cuisine. Somewhere else.
