Nice restaurant with takeout option. The food was delicious and, as expected, intensely seasoned. There's a small outdoor seating area, and the service was very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

We've ordered food several times (which was fantastic every time) and now wanted to eat there with friends. I was honestly a little surprised by the restaurant and the interior (4-5 tables), as it's more reminiscent of a small German inn, but we felt completely at home. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the gentleman who served us was a delight. Parking was no problem at all. We'd love to go back! :)

We ordered for delivery today – very tasty and plentiful! Pakoras, tikka masala, and butter chicken. The delivery arrived earlier than expected, and despite traveling several kilometers, everything was still piping hot and the food was incredibly delicious. Only the naan bread wasn't quite to our taste. We'll definitely order from here again.

I ordered food via Lieferando, and instead of the advertised 60 minutes, it took almost two hours to arrive. It's a shame. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly and responded immediately to my call by contacting the driver. The food arrived piping hot, though. Great! Nothing was forgotten or mixed up. The taste was simply amazing. The bread with various fillings wasn't quite what I expected, but that's subjective. Everything tasted great, and the portion sizes were adequate. Thank you. I'd be happy to come again, but maybe pick it up myself this time ;)

A small restaurant with five tables on the ground floor and additional outdoor seating. Reservations are recommended. The entrance is at Venghaussplatz, and free parking is available on Ravensberger Strasse. Unfortunately, the Indian atmosphere is limited, but the food is delicious, and you can also find less spicy dishes. The service is genuinely attentive and was generally acceptable.

We enjoy Indian food often – and have had many good experiences. But we particularly enjoyed it here! The portions are just right, all the dishes are freshly prepared, and the mango lassi rounds off the meal perfectly. We'll be back!

We ordered for the 3rd time today The chicken curry looked different every time and tasted much different today than last time (I suspect the chefs are changed often) The Garlic Naan arrived cold and for an appetizer where there would normally be a dip or sauce, there wasn't one today, a shame Conclusion: Ordered the same dish every time but always prepared something different. We won't be ordering there again

We also got to know the restaurant via the Schlemmerblock yesterday and were absolutely convinced by the quality, the composition of the dishes and the price-performance ratio. Very tasty and not spiced to zero, but extremely tasty and balanced. Delicious starters and dips, accompanied by bread baked just right in the clay oven and then curry, just like it tastes in Asia. Plus a very friendly and personal service. A little more India in the restaurant's décor would be great. But that's certainly not easy to do in the beautiful, old half-timbered house. We'll definitely come back, even if it's a 45-minute drive away, and recommend it to others.

Clear recommendation. Super delicious Indian food. The curries taste great and are inexpensive. Also suitable for people who don't like spicy food. Highly recommend mango lassi. Nice service, kitchen works quickly.

We've been here twice, the first time everything was 100% great. The second time wasn't so good, our food was swapped. I didn't get what my wife ordered and vice versa and it wasn't that obvious. Despite everything, the food didn't taste as good as on our first visit. However, we would go there again at some point and hopefully next time everything will be as good as the first time.

The food wasn't very tasty. We had mixed vegetable and chicken madras. The chicken was very salty and not particularly tasty. The vegetables were not freshly prepared. Peas and carrots tasted like they came from a can. We ordered the same thing here about 3 years ago and it tasted really delicious back then. Service was good 😊

Yesterday we had dinner at the "Royal" with our friends. We ordered four different dishes and various bread specialties. We were all thrilled! The wonderfully spicy food as well as the selection, freshness and quantity were very convincing. We were able to sit outside in the wonderful sunshine, very nice on the beautifully designed Venghaus square. The service was also very friendly and quick. The prices are completely reasonable, especially since rice is included with all curry dishes. We had two voucher books and the innkeeper pointed out to us that we only needed one of the vouchers to get 4 for 2. There is rarely so much honesty these days. Our friends really enjoyed it and we have a new favorite restaurant. We recommend the “Royal” without reservation.

I live in Werther and I always passed by. Today I thought I'd take something to eat for home. It was so delicious that I called and said thank you..👍Respect, I don't know what Indian tastes like or what it tastes like for a kitchen but mega tasty meat has fallen apart.. The portion size is also super big I ordered the 10 and the 46. And for those under 18 euros for a main course with bread 👍🤌 I can already say until the next meal 👋

We came to dinner with the Schlemmerblock on a Saturday and were completely thrilled at the end! The atmosphere in the half-timbered house is very cozy, the service was attentive and friendly and the food (the menu is available online) was great in terms of portion size, taste and price! 👍🏻 If you like authentic Indian food, you're in good hands here! If we ever find ourselves in Werther again, we'll definitely come back!

We were here for the first time with the Schlemmerblock. The restaurant is small but very cozy. We really enjoyed the food. Most dishes are slightly spicy, that's a matter of taste. The service was a bit mixed up on our day: the starter was unfortunately added to the main course and a drink was forgotten. But the waiter will learn something new and it will be fine. We were very satisfied. PS: The portions look small at first, but you'll fill up really well!

The two of us went to the Royal Indian Restaurant for the first time last night and we were thrilled. The atmosphere is nice, not too big, comfortable tables. A very nice and courteous waiter served us. That made a very good impression. The whole thing was topped off with an excellent meal. For me it was chicken with spiced spinach - it tasted fantastic! The portions are large enough to fill you up. I didn't even finish everything and took the rest home with me. The prices for the food are cheap compared to other restaurants. All in all, we will come back and can recommend the restaurant without reservation!

We had Indian food for the first time!! We liked it there, the food was very tasty 🤤!! However, in retrospect the price seemed a bit too high! 🤔 We each had a small casserole dish full of rice 🍚 mixed with lamb and chicken, but hardly noticeable, and some vegetables, but very tasty! €15.90 per dish?! We had a gourmet block to our advantage, so we didn't have to pay for a dish!! Nevertheless, including drinks for two people, we still had to pay €38!! This is not cheap!! 🤔😳

The ambience with the half-timbered structure is stylish and cozy. The service was friendly, explained well and was attentive without being intrusive. The chicken was so juicy and tender. The sauce is rich and tasty. A really tasty butter chicken. My companion had Chicken Madras, which was rated as spicy (spoiler: beware 😉) The rice was very light. We would love to come back 👍👍

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Es war ziemlich kalt im Restaurant, die Gäste haben gefroren. Ente bestellt.... naja zum satt werden ok. Mehr leider nicht. Die WCs sind alt, im 80er Jahre Look. Türkische Musik beim Inder hatte ich auch noch nicht. Insgesamt leider keine Empfehlung.

Wir haben kurzfristig Essen zum mitnehmen direkt im Restaurant bestellt. Das Essen war sehr schnell fertig und sehr heiß, daher war es auch trotz Heimfahrt noch heiß genug zum Essen. Es war sehr lecker und gute Portionen.

Ich habe bis jetzt nur essen zum mitnehmen hier bestellt und es war auch immer sehr lecker. Die Preise sind angemessen und der Herr an der Kasse überaus freundlich.

Es war wirklich ok. Der Service war nicht unbedingt schlecht, aber auch nicht gut. Mein Reis war leider nicht richtig durchgekocht. Ansonsten hat es ganz gut geschmeckt. Nur sehr lieblos angerichtet.

Ich habe selten einen so kooperativen und freundlichen Service erlebt! Habe das Essen als Überraschung an eine Freundin liefern lassen - alles hat prima und pünktlich geklappt, der Besitzer hat mich sogar telefonisch informiert, dass die Lieferung unterwegs sei.Das Essen war heiss und soll sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Ich freue mich darauf, das indische Essen selber zu testen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin! Namaste

Das Essen ist ok, mehr kann ich leider nicht sagen. Wenn man richtig gut indisch essen möchte, sollte man ein anderes Restaurant aufsuchen. Sonst als Lieferdienst in Ordnung.

Ich habe viele Gerichte in diesem indischen Restaurant probiert, besonders Nummer 73 Hyderabadi Biryani, sehr lecker mit spezieller Sauce und leckerem Brot. Wider gerne! Kann empfehlen.

Fachwerkambiente mit indischer Musikuntermalung. Schlicht eingerichtet mit sehr freundlichem Service und schmackhaftem Essen, das frisch zubereitet wird. Im Sommer lädt ein Biergarten zum Verweilen ein. Auch für Veganer geeignet, da es einige vegane Speisen gibt.
