Wir hatten Spare Rips.Fleisch sehr zart und ließ sich gut vom Knochen lösen. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten nichts zu meckern.

The schnitzel was not enjoyable for me. Very fatty and difficult to digest. The burgers were good. The food could be a little warmer. The lighting should be worked on. Some of the guests had to read the menu using the light from their cell phone because it was simply too dark at the table.

Route 68 is visually appealing. And you can also eat there in the evening, the burgers are delicious. The only thing I've never experienced is the following: the waitress (not one of the younger girls, but the employee who has been there for a long time) complaining to children about why they didn't eat at the breakfast buffet! On one plate were leftover potato casserole and vegetables, one of which the child didn't like the sauce on. The vegetable sauce actually tastes strange! And on the other child's plate there was a slice of cheese, some leftover jam and scrambled eggs. So don't overdo it! To say: "Why did you take so much if you don't finish it?!" was completely exaggerated, cheeky and invasive. This is not how you treat paying guests! Of course it's clear that you shouldn't leave a huge mountain of leftover food, we definitely don't have that either! But I won't force the child to eat a sauce that tastes like expired milk! If I pay just under €20 per person, I expect to be treated kindly. But child-friendliness is not for everyone.

We had promised ourselves more! The all-you-can-eat buffet with the spare rips was slapped on rather carelessly...that could be done better! The price is too high for that!

I've enjoyed coming here with friends and family for years. The Route68 is also ideal for family celebrations. The food is also very good, varied and mainly prepared and put together in-house. Homemade burgers and much more. However, the price-performance ratio is still fair. We'd love to come back.

Great decision to eat here after visiting the thermal baths. The US steak was amazing! 🔨 Everything fresh and fried to medium perfection. Great value for money! Gladly again :)

The restaurant was mega full. We waited an hour for the starter and another half hour for the main course. Otherwise everything was good. Maybe you should rethink the sauces.

We're evaluating that here today Catering from Route68, we only ordered sandwiches for our wedding in the early afternoon, they were really good, well topped and very tasty!!! In the evening we had a hot buffet, put together exactly how we wanted it, and it was PERFECT!! Super nice service, everything was absolutely professional, punctual, fast, friendly and everything was so delicious!!!!! We and our guests were completely satisfied!! We can only recommend it to everyone, and would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire ROUTE68 team!!! Dieter and Carmen

We've been there several times on Sundays for breakfast. We really liked the all-round package of furnishings, music, service and food every time.

We spent a lovely evening at Route68. The ambience is nice, although quite loud, but you get used to it over time. The food is tasty and rich. A special compliment to the friendly and quick service. Each table has a flag that can be "hoisted" if desired. Within seconds someone was at our table. We recommend.

Used to be my favorite restaurant. But it's hardly possible to visit it during the week. I've had it several times now that there was no service. I celebrated my birthday there with my family and we wanted to have cocktails. But no one came to the table anymore even though the drinks had been empty for at least half an hour. We weren't seen waving because we were very hidden. The restaurant was empty and yet the meal took 2 hours. The amount of mayo was ridiculous... The burger was also very sparsely topped, it was almost bun on bun... That was only one of my visits, the second one made me feel like a nuisance as a customer. The service was unfriendly and you waited forever and the service barely came to the table… It remained very unpleasant in my mind and I gave the restaurant another chance five times because I hoped it was just a snapshot. But unfortunately things kept getting worse. What a shame!

Very tasty American food in an authentic saloon-like atmosphere. Anyone who likes it will love it. The only downside: burgers with cucumbers? The pickles are the best thing about it, or is it just us who sees it that way? But that would be the only point of criticism. We'd love to come back!

Went here for brunch on Saturday and really have to say high praise. The service was very attentive and friendly, you immediately felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is very cozy and everything was very tasty and the selection was really large and varied. Price performance is always right here. We will come back in any case :)

There's nothing you can say about the food and the ambience, except that what was on the plate wasn't exactly what was on the menu. There was no trace of chicken wings and rump steak 🤔 There were also no fries but potato wedges to be found. Unfortunately, the waiting time to order the dishes left a lot to be desired. After ordering we actually had to wait 1 hour 45 minutes. Okay, it's Saturday and you think it's going to be busy at first, but when all the tables that had arrived far after us had long since received their food, a bit of disbelief began to set in. The appetizer we ordered wasn't even served, but was listed on the bill. The service person who came to collect apologized, although she was a little embarrassed. Nevertheless, one would have imagined spending 2.5 hours in the restaurant differently.

Today we spontaneously visited Route 68 with good previous experience, which unfortunately wasn't confirmed this time. We waited a total of a good 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food for two people and were able to watch as people who entered the restaurant well after us received their food earlier. There was no apology for this. The starter we previously ordered didn't even find its way to our table, which no one noticed. Only after we had it taken off the bill when paying did they at least apologize. To also say something positive, the food was very tasty, at least what we got, because there was a lot missing from the plate. The chicken wings and rump steak described were not to be found on our mixed plate and the Amarican fries were also just wedges.. I try to convince myself that it was all because the restaurant was overcrowded, but I'm still disappointed.

The food was great, as was the service, and the ambience was like it belongs in a Route 68 restaurant. As a starter we had nachos, tomato soup and baked bread. All very tasty. The main courses were burgers, a giant pan for 2 people, spare ribs and a steak. Everyone was very satisfied. I'll still deduct one star because we had reservations and one of them was with a wheelchair. Wouldn't be a problem, toilet is also suitable for wheelchair users. A ramp at the entrance and inside the restaurant everything is at ground level, great for wheelchair users. The beer garden can be approached from the outside at ground level. We weren't sitting there ourselves, but we could see it. The problem was more the toilet, the "normal" toilets are very small, so not suitable for wheelchair users. However, the service took us to an unofficial toilet where there was a large anteroom. However, these two toilets were not suitable for wheelchair users either; the toilet cubicles are simply too small for wheelchair users. There is no chance of getting into the cabin and there are no grab handles etc. It was only possible to use the toilet with great difficulty. It has to be said that we have a rather narrow active wheelchair and the person is "reasonably" mobile. People with a “normal” wheelchair would have no chance there.

My burger was lukewarm, fries were limp, my husband and child's steak was tough. So honestly, after today we're done with rout 68.

Always my pleasure! The food tastes great every time. The service staff is very friendly and tries to do everything right. And the location is very nicely set up. The only drawback is that it is always very crowded 😂

We invited our friends and family to a birthday brunch today. Unfortunately, as far as the buffet was concerned today, it wasn't worth the money!!! At 10.40 a.m. forks were only available again upon request. The buffet was pretty much empty and the young man who brought fresh apple rings seemed quite overwhelmed. We were definitely able to score points with friends and neighbors and no one would recommend Route 68! Pity, that was better!!!

Were there today on February 9th. We waited an hour for food. Conclusion: - the fries were soggy and cold - the "White Pan" plate: the meat stuck to the pan and was cold!!! - We were with 5 people, unfortunately with 4 people it didn't taste good at all. A pity ;

Brunch is very rich. Despite American cuisine, I would have liked grains, rye or spelled rolls, and also a fresh fruit salad or natural yogurt. But that's just a matter of taste and not exactly typically American.

Nice restaurant with homemade food. Which are also delicious. However, I ordered a steak from the shoulder, which according to the menu was supposed to be very tender. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. That's why I didn't like the main course and unfortunately I couldn't finish it, which I didn't like. The individual parts of the mix starter plate were very tasty, as were the dips served with them. I would definitely come back if possible. Just then order something else.

This is a place where you feel comfortable. The employees have their eyes everywhere and can see if something is missing at the tables or at the buffet. Fun and joy is the order of the day here. We always enjoy coming back to your place and bringing friends with us LG Petra

We really enjoyed the breakfast/brunch and can recommend it. A large selection and a reasonable price, we'll be happy to come back. The lighting in the large breakfast room was a little too dark, a little brighter would have been more pleasant.

Got a table quickly. Restaurant was well filled. Food was ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately, it was fried a lot and was greasy. There are also some vegetarian versions. Here, too, there was little creative fried frozen stuff served. When it comes to food, you could deliver a lot more considering the prices. The ambience itself is very cool and nice but not round. You can see that effort was made but not 100% completed. If the ceilings were adjusted and the tables had a somewhat uniform design, you would have a much cooler experience. You could also use indirect light sources and switch off this bright light. The service was nice and quick. You can raise a flag when you need something, which makes ordering much easier. Nevertheless, one could be a little more attentive to justify the prices with a more exclusive service. The meal took a little long, but was still within the normal range. In general, I just wish there was a little more of everything. Then the prices would be ok.

Unfortunately, quality has deteriorated extremely. The taste was not very good, although the spare ribs in particular were very fatty and had a strange taste. To top it off, I had diarrhea in the evening...

Everything was fine, we got there early so it wasn't that crowded. Large portions, price-performance ratio fits.

As always, the food was very tasty and fresh. Always consistent quality. Operation was a bit clumsy, it was definitely new. Reservations are practically possible via the website.

Wir hatten chicken Wings extra scharf , leider waren sie überhaupt nicht gewürzt . Ein 300 g Rumpsteak sah eher aus wie 200 Gramm und meine Pommes schmeckten iwie komisch 😐 wir hatten schon öfter Pech in letzter Zeit und werden erstmal nicht wieder kommen

Super schönes Ambiente, dazu einen sehr aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Service. Geschmacklich ist der Laden ebenfalls zu empfehlen! 10/10

Jedes Jahr an Silvester gehen wir mit der ganzen Familie hin (ca. 25-40 Leute) und jedes Jahr ein super leckeres Buffet! Alle werden Satt und kein Wunsch bleibt offen. Bedienung auch immer sehr freundlich. Auf geht's erst wieder zum ende des Jahres ;)

Das Silvesterbuffet war der Knaller! 🧨 Das Lokal war festlich und dem Anlass entsprechend dekoriert/geschmückt. Die Speisen waren sehr schön angerichtet. Die Auswahl vielfältig! Es war wirklich alles hervorragend und geschmacklich war alles top 👍🏻 🔝 . Für Nachschub der warmen Speisen wurde immer fleißig und umgehend gesorgt. Die Crew war immer und überall auf Zack und haben sich große Mühe gegeben jedem Gast gerecht zu werden. Die Auswahl der Desserts war zahlreich und auch dort gab es immer reichlich Nachschub. Hier mangelte es keineswegs an Nachschub. Das Buffet wurde stets mit neuen und frischen Speisen befüllt und sehr schön sauber und ordentlich gehalten. Die „negative“ Kritik teile ich ganz und gar nicht! Wenn allerdings Gäste meinen, Tage vorher sich auf das Buffet vorzubereiten und das mit einem Kampf-/Wettessen verwechselt zu haben, dann müssen diese etwas an ihrem (Ess-)Verhalten ändern. Es muss doch nicht sein, dass man meint, man stünde unter Zeitdruck da man ja „nur“ eine Zeitspanne von sage und schreibe 2,5 Std. hat! Diese Gäste sollten in erster Linie ihr (Ess-)Verhalten überdenken und sich fragen, ob das an den Tag gelegte Verhalten korrekt ist … Ich freue mich auf weitere Buffets dieser Art. Ihr seit Klasse! Macht weiter so … 👏

War Silvester da zum essen war einfach nur klasse 👍

Ich hatte mir vom Silvesterbuffet mehr erhofft. Das war leider maximal durchschnittlich 😕 zum krönenden Abschluss bekam ich anstatt einer Granatapfellimonade bekam ich einen süßen Saft mit ca 1 cm Zucker auf dem Glasboden…leider ungenießbar. Schade…

Das Sylvesterbuffet heute war richtig lecker, Auswahl sehr gut und reichhaltig.Die fleissigen Damen und Herren haben schnell und zuverlässig mit einem lächeln und guter Laune für uns und die anderen Gäste gesorgt. Was leider aufgefallen ist… Und das liegt weder am Betreiber, noch Staff….Die soziale Inkompetenz und das asoziale Verhalten einiger Gäste ist zu solchen Anlässen / Buffetveranstaltungen leider zu oft erkenn- und erlebbar.So werden die Servicekräfte angepöbelt, beleidigt, beschimpft, wenn diese um Platz zum Nachfüllen bitten, oder Abtransport der leeren Behältnisse sorgen… Respekt, dass die Servicekräfte / Mitarbeiter das so entspannt wegstecken. Kommt gut, gesund und gut gelaunt ins neue Jahr! Bis bald 😀

Essen: ein Teil war wirklich gut. Allerdings waren die Oberteile der Buns hart wie Knäckebrot. Bacon ist auch verbrannt am Burger vorbeigelaufen und war nicht mal als minimal zu bezeichnen. Die Hähnchenschnitzel Wiener Art waren Fertig- Schnitzel. ( Vielleicht stand der Wagen vom Route 68 deshalb morgens vor Aldi?) Ambiente: Wirklich schön eingerichtet. Service: die Cocktails mussten mehrfach ausgetauscht werden, da entweder große statt kleinen kamen oder die falschen. Ein Kaffee wurde schon beim servieren halb auf den Tisch gekippt und die Frage, ob ein neuer geliefert werden soll, war mehr als überflüssig. Als dann bei der Abrechnung unserer Gruppe mit 44 Leuten auch noch ein Betrag von erst fast 70€, der sich dann auf 57 € reduzierte, nachdem wir zumindest einen Kleinteil nachweisen konnten, offen war und die Kellnerin mehr als unfreundlich wurde und uns quasi Absicht unterstellte, hat man sich leider entschlossen, aus der Gruppe den Betrag nachzuzahlen. Obwohl offensichtlich Essen doppelt abgerechnet wurden, denn keiner von uns hat Spare Ribs nachbestellt ( einer hatte endless Spare Ribs und somit logischerweise eine zweite Portion). All unsere Essen waren mit Namen vorbestellt. Ich spreche nicht im Namen der Gruppe, aber aus meiner Sicht war dieses Verhalten ohne Kassenabschlag( keiner von uns bekam einen Bon) Betrug, Absicht möchte ich nicht unterstellen. Den gleichen Ärger hatten wir letztes Jahr, da habe ich allerdings stillschweigend die 25€ Nachzahlung geleistet und hingenommen. Mein persönliches Fazit: Nie wieder.

Alles gut, aber positiv Überrascht oder Begeistert wurde ich nicht. Alles wie erwartet, wie gesagt gut aber auch nicht mehr. Ergänzung Nov. 2023: Zum Frühstücken/Brunch gewesen, Bereitgestellte Tisch waren nicht sauber abgewischt, von den bereitgestellten Tassen waren einige angeschlagen, andere nicht odendlich gereinigt (Ränder), Geschirr auf dem Buffet z.T. mit anhaftenden Resten, ebenso das Besteck. An den Besitzer/Betreiber: eine Schulung der Mitarbeiter muß auch mit einer begleitenden Kontrolle einher gehen
