Rotherma Bistro in Gaggenau

We're regulars at Rotherma, and until today we've only had a drink. Today we were looking forward to the deliciously presented food. We had a sausage salad, a bowl, and a burger, as well as a wheat beer and a juice spritzer. Our conclusion: Sausage salad (consists only of sausage and pickled, finely chopped cucumbers), garnish: tomatoes and 4 rings of onion (at least red ones). Delicious, but could have been more for the price. Bowl: Absolutely outrageous!!!! Consisted of natural quinoa, beetroot, 3 lettuce leaves, and edamame beans. Without dressing, nothing else, for 14.50 euros. Burger: Actually quite okay, if it weren't for the BBQ sauce. For me, an ingredient like that has to be on the list of ingredients, as it impairs and overpowers the entire flavor of a burger. Exactly 50 euros gone for 3 meals and 2 drinks, and I'm extremely dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, it wasn't convincing. The price/performance ratio isn't right. An iced coffee for €6.50, but it's not coffee served with ice, but rather a ready-made sweet iced coffee from a tetra pack with ice. So, twice as sweet and completely disappointing. Burger with fries for €14.90: a relatively small burger and a small sieve with a few fries. All self-service, no service for the price. A deposit of €0.50 is charged, so you can make an additional €0.25 if customers don't return plastic bottles. You feel ripped off or ripped off. That was nothing....

The food is completely overpriced. A handful of sausage salad and a little decoration on the edge for €10. Avocado bowl sounds good, but a small bowl with cans of corn, cucumbers and tomatoes and 3 leaves of lettuce for €15 without a roll is at least 50% too expensive.

For me, the bistro is the best I've ever had at a swimming pool. Large selection, delicious, really great value for money! Update: The operator has changed, so now it's so-so...

I ate at the Bad again today. They used to have fresh, delicious salads or paninis. The current menu is a no-go. I ate a bowl for a lot of money with barely anything in it, not even salad dressing. That was the last time.

Delicious juices and smoothies, friendly service. The tomato and mozzarella salad at the next table looked delicious, but the fries, unfortunately, not so much. They even offer alcohol. Personally, that's not an option for me in a sauna, but there are plenty of options here for other tastes.

We were staying at the motorhome parking space belonging to the thermal baths. We wanted to have breakfast in the bistro, but at 9:30 a.m. we could only have had a croissant and a cup of coffee—nothing else.

A really great thermal spa that we have been visiting regularly for several years. The staff who carry out the infusions are very, very friendly and motivated. However, there has been a change in the area of ​​gastronomy... The food in the new bisto “Cengiz” tastes good and is still reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the staff seems very unfriendly, unmotivated and is very, very slow. We also very much regret that, for reasons we cannot understand, the staff no longer prepares smoothies around 8 p.m., even though the bistro is open until 9 p.m. This was always possible with the previous owner and a highlight of our sauna visit to the Rotherma in Gaggenau! Very, very unfortunate

The food is very tasty. Only the service leaves something to be desired. I've been going to Rotherma on Women's Day for years. The sauna area of ​​the thermal bath leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is excellent. However, since the ownership of the bistro changed, the restaurant closes earlier even though the sauna is open until 10 p.m. There are no more smoothies after 8 p.m. Unfortunately, the service is no longer so harmonious. Too bad :(

Unfortunately I'm disappointed. I always enjoyed eating the salad with chicken strips from a plate here. The chicken today was dry and almost burnt, the new small shells are very "piled up", you can't eat it well, some of it falls down the sides, the dressing is unfortunately no longer the mega dressing it used to be and the individual pieces of lettuce were too great for relaxed dining. Wasn't as cool as usual.

Nach meiner Anwendung gehe ich gerne noch ins Bistro und gönne mir einen wunderbaren Milchkaffee mit einem herrlichen Stück Kuchen 🍰 Service ist immer freundlich 😄 viele Leute bleiben noch um Mittag zu essen.

Mehr Plätze im Innenbereich wären toll

Eine super tolle Therme. Der Sauna Bereich ist sehr empfehlenswert und das Bistro dort ist prima. Essen und Ambiente sehr gut. Das Personal dort sehr zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Waren aufgrund mehrwöchigem Kuraufenthalt in Bad Herrenalb zweimal in der Therme. Wäre sie nicht so weit von unserem Wohnort entfernt, würden wir dort als Stammgäste sein.

Als Bistro in einer Therme super! Lecker und tolle Portionen. Die Therme selbst ist auch toll! Service schnell und freundlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder zur Therme und ins Bistro! 👍🏼

Preislich etwas gehoben für Selbsbedienung. Die Mitarbeiter verrichten ihre Arbeit ohne Elan, man hat das Gefühl nicht Willkommen zu sein. Freundlichkeit geht anderst.

Magyar vircsaft, kedves, gyors kiszolgálás, humoros Magyarsággal. Az árak az elvárásnak megfelelöek, a kaja minöségileg kifogástalan, és elégséges a mennyiség is. Talán több sörfajta választék lehetne, esetleg csapolt sör is. Összességében; kellemes, minösègi, kedves.

Das Panini und der frische Salat war gut mit einem angemessenen Preis.

Super leckeres und frisches Essen was u.a. auch an die Saison angepasst ist. Preis-Leistung ebenfalls in Ordnung. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, welches keinen extra Aufwand scheut.

It’s nice but..No food is served before 11:30! You can buy just some brötchen. Cash only! Or you use your chip card if you visit Rotherma and pay later on. Panini and coffee was good. Very unfriendly service.

I stopped here before going to the pool and I had a good experience. I had a cappuccino, which was a regular coffee from the machine and I had a carrot soup. The soup was really good, recommended.

Unfreundlicher Service. Man darf ich Bad nicht laut sein da sonst Beschwerdungen von den älteren Mitmenschen kommen. Essen überteuert, dauert lange und nur was für den holen Zahn.

Für ein Schwimmbad richtig lecker und reichhaltige Auswahl. Wir waren positiv überrascht.

Wir, ich, Mittfünfziger, und meine beiden Damen, die Mama und das 10-jährige Töchterlein, waren vergangenen Sonntag trotz der schlechten Google-Kritien dort und hatten insgesamt einen Heiden-Spass. Es gab keine Warteschlange, eine saubere Umgebung, und eine angenehme, relaxte Atmosphäre. Die als Schlüssel und kleines Zahlungsmittel funktionierenden Magnet-Uhren haben das Umziehen erleichtert, und man brauchte kein Geld am wenig bekleideten Körper herumschleppen und darauf laufend aufzupassen. Das Mittagessen in der Kantine war lecker, nach Wahl auch gesund (mein Salat entsprach Weight-Watcher Kriterien, weniger das Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes). Alles in allem war es für uns alle ein sehr erfreulicher Sonntag-Nachmittag.

Die Kasse am Eingang ist ständig unterbesetzt. Zum teil sehr lange Wartezeiten.
