Found spontaneously while passing through Pretty restaurant, very good stone oven pizza, portion of homemade tiramisu is enough for two people

This restaurant exeeds expectations. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic dinner. Worth trying it.. Always glad to come back!

Deserves more than 5 stars!!! 🫶 We had something to eat at this lovely restaurant this evening. At the beginning we were greeted openly and warmly. The atmosphere and ambience reminded us of Italy even with beautiful wood burning stoves! The hospitality in the house was open and very friendly and accommodating. My recommendation for food: As a starter: fresh tomato soup Bruschetta with homemade bread Crispy and fresh sweet tomatoes and herbs. As a main course: Tender, juicy, hearty beef steak served with porcini mushrooms and chanterelles in cream sauce with a fresh, crunchy, colorful side salad. Dessert: Freshly made Panna Cotta chocolate dream Top quality!!! We were very excited to be able to experience a piece of Italy here. Only to recommend! We'll be back soon! 😊🫶

I recently visited the pizzeria and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The selection of pizzas was impressive and I chose the Margherita which was fresh and delicious. The dough was perfectly crispy and the ingredients were high quality. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and really cared about our needs. The wait for the food was short and we felt welcome at all times. I can only recommend this pizzeria and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We were regular customers of Rosa and her team for many years in your long-established Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, after the change of ownership, it can no longer be compared to the quality level of the previous owner. Pizzas in the wood-fired oven are freshly prepared but have a neutral taste. The same applies to the pasta dishes on offer. The food portions have become smaller, while the price level has remained the same. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer balanced. Service was sometimes unprofessional. More visits???? Probably not.

We reserved our table via the Romulus et Remus Instagram account and received a quick response. The pizzas were amazing. Richly covered, good soil and simply delicious. Our 4-year-old son also had a lot of fun watching the pizza being made. I can only recommend the restaurant to you.

The ambience is pleasant and the atmosphere is informal and casual. The service is particularly noteworthy: very friendly and attentive, so you immediately feel welcome. We tried the Spaghetti Vongole which took us back to our recent trips to Italy - it really tasted like Italy! The portions are generous so that even the greatest hunger is satisfied. An all-round successful experience that leaves you wanting more. We will definitely come back!

We were there shortly before closing time and the employee Lena was still in a good mood and very friendly. We felt very comfortable with her. Our food was prepared very quickly. I would definitely come again for Lena's service and food :)

Good Italian restaurant with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating in a quiet location. The pizza was very good (I had Pizza Funghi), I can only recommend it. We have been guests since the company was founded. My first pizza in life was Romulus et Remus. It's ingrained in my childhood brain that the pizza has to taste exactly like the then boss Antonio's. Today I was there with my parents, my sisters and our children. Almost in the third generation of customers. I had the Pizza Antonio (what else) and an Italian salad. And what can I say - it was the taste of my childhood. That's why I and my family warmly recommend coming to eat here. I understand that people mourn the old hosts and the “legacy” of continuing to operate such a traditional restaurant is a difficult legacy. But please give the young hosts a chance to prove that they can do it too. Because they really can. All the best to you & see you soon!

Today I visited Romulus et Remus with my family, which has a very special meaning for me. 40 years ago I had my first pizza experience here as a child with the then boss Antonio. Today I am happy to report that the pizza still tastes just as fantastic as it did back then and it was a pleasure to reminisce with my children. The new, young team that is now carrying on the legacy is doing an excellent job. Their passion and commitment can be tasted in every bite. They have managed to brilliantly continue the tradition and quality that characterizes this restaurant. For me, a visit to this restaurant is not only a journey into the past, but also a pleasure for the present. I can highly recommend it. Fantastico! We will be back!

The occasional bad reviews after the young new management took over are surprising! Really incomprehensible... We were warmly served on the terrace on Sunday evening. The dishes, pasta, pizza, tiramisu, were excellent, excellent!! We'd love to come back, even from the other side of town ;)

The new team is super nice. I personally like the pizza even better now. I would not have thought that. The best thing is that the new boss is finally bringing some momentum to the menu and offering his own creations. Great new pasta and pizza dishes. We now go here almost weekly and have never been disappointed. The team is very, very nice. Everything seems harmonious. Which is often not the case in many other restaurants. I give full marks because I really think that the motivation, quality of the food, ambience and the staff correspond 100% to what I expect.

A delicious pizza with fresh mushrooms and basil. The dough is soft and supple! The Italian salami was laid out very thinly after baking! Buon appetite! We were there for lunch today and had very tasty gnocchi. The menu offered with a drink, side salad and espresso is great and the price is completely reasonable. The food and very courteous and friendly service will definitely take us back to Romulus et Remus.

Discovered this authentic pizzeria today. Ate two pizzas (4 cheese and arrabbiata), both taste excellent and are very large. Thin dough with a normal edge like in the pictures. Service is very friendly and accommodating.

Very friendly and attentive service. The best pizzas from the wood-fired oven are available here. I like to eat the gnocchi with spinach, the tagliatelle with veal, the very juicy Bufalo pizza or the pasta with wild garlic. The other pasta dishes are also very tasty and the prices are really very moderate.

I ordered there again today and didn't know that the owner had changed. What I got was a complete disgrace!!! I ordered 2x canneloni and 1x spaghetti carbonara. The first negative point was that everything was bland and unseasoned. But the fact that instead of canneloni only folded sheets of dough, partially rolled, with extremely little filling and with an unseasoned tomato sauce in a mini portion were served, stinks to high heaven. There was NOTHING of the bechamel sauce mentioned in the menu. I feel cheated out of a good meal. Of course it has also increased and prices are higher than before. The €3 tip annoys me even more. Instead, you should have received compensation for pain and suffering. We used to be guests there often and with pleasure. Unfortunately, this is now a thing of the past. This was the worst Italian food I have ever eaten! If you could give 0 stars, I would have. For the sake of completeness: Service: The service was ok Ambiance: It's still the old Romulus and Remus and therefore good!

I ordered a takeaway lasagne there for the first time. Unfortunately it didn't taste fresh. It reminded me more of ready-made lasagna. It's a real shame because it's always busy and the staff are very nice.

Authentic and Honest Italian. Nothing newfangled. Really fresh ingredients. Dear service. Checked on us several times. Stone oven pizza. Very clean/tidy toilets, I think that always says a lot.

Unfortunately, the taste level has decreased significantly with the change of ownership. Tagliatelle with fillet tips and porcini mushrooms in cream sauce is with less meat (no fillet tips!) and 2 mushrooms, and no cream sauce (although that's what it says on the menu). Simply lower level, what a shame! Pizza Margherita slightly burnt, salad still ok.

I can't understand some of the new reviews. The menu has remained exactly the same. The dish was prepared differently by the new chef, but to my taste it was no worse. I used to think Remus was great and still did after the change.

Pizza just perfect. The edge and base were airy and soft and the topping was plentiful and very tasty. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. During the short wait for the pizza, you can even watch the pizza being prepared from the oven in the middle of the restaurant. Absolutely to be recommended.

I was a regular at Rosa's for 25 years, the restaurant under the new management cannot offer what Rosa had, the pizzas are smaller, have less toppings and don't taste good either! Probably won't go there again, it's a shame going there was always a highlight, even if you had to wait to get a seat. Unfortunately it's no longer good.

Simply TOP! My family and I are from Switzerland and were visiting Karlsruhe on Saturday. My old college friends from Karlsruhe recommended the restaurant to me and after a long day, this Italian restaurant was the best decision!! The terrace and the style with Italian flair spoke for themselves, but the service team was also so warm and accommodating. The nice owner Alberto even personally helped us choose the food and the food was very tasty 😍 We will definitely come back on our next visit!
