We have been regular guests for many years and were here again today after a long break for pizza. New, very nice host and new pizza maker.👍 The good soul in the kitchen is still there.👍 We were greeted very warmly by the landlord and served very quickly and warmly.😃 The pizzas were very tasty 😋 and very digestible. We felt very comfortable and will eat there again often. Highly recommended 👍

Very friendly and attentive service. The best pizzas from the wood-fired oven are available here. I like to eat the gnocchi with spinach, the tagliatelle with veal, the very juicy Bufalo pizza or the pasta with wild garlic. The other pasta dishes are also very tasty and the prices are really very moderate.

I ordered there again today and didn't know that the owner had changed. What I got was a complete disgrace!!! I ordered 2x canneloni and 1x spaghetti carbonara. The first negative point was that everything was bland and unseasoned. But the fact that instead of canneloni only folded sheets of dough, partially rolled, with extremely little filling and with an unseasoned tomato sauce in a mini portion were served, stinks to high heaven. There was NOTHING of the bechamel sauce mentioned in the menu. I feel cheated out of a good meal. Of course it has also increased and prices are higher than before. The €3 tip annoys me even more. Instead, you should have received compensation for pain and suffering. We used to be guests there often and with pleasure. Unfortunately, this is now a thing of the past. This was the worst Italian food I have ever eaten! If you could give 0 stars, I would have. For the sake of completeness: Service: The service was ok Ambiance: It's still the old Romulus and Remus and therefore good!

I ordered a takeaway lasagne there for the first time. Unfortunately it didn't taste fresh. It reminded me more of ready-made lasagna. It's a real shame because it's always busy and the staff are very nice.

Authentic and Honest Italian. Nothing newfangled. Really fresh ingredients. Dear service. Checked on us several times. Stone oven pizza. Very clean/tidy toilets, I think that always says a lot.

Unfortunately, the taste level has decreased significantly with the change of ownership. Tagliatelle with fillet tips and porcini mushrooms in cream sauce is with less meat (no fillet tips!) and 2 mushrooms, and no cream sauce (although that's what it says on the menu). Simply lower level, what a shame! Pizza Margherita slightly burnt, salad still ok.

We had lunch at Romulus et Remus for the first time today. Both the pizza and the pasta were great! The service is extremely friendly and very attentive. You feel comfortable and in good hands. We'd love to come back. :)

I can't understand some of the new reviews. The menu has remained exactly the same. The dish was prepared differently by the new chef, but to my taste it was no worse. I used to think Remus was great and still did after the change.

Pizza just perfect. The edge and base were airy and soft and the topping was plentiful and very tasty. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. During the short wait for the pizza, you can even watch the pizza being prepared from the oven in the middle of the restaurant. Absolutely to be recommended.

I was a regular at Rosa's for 25 years, the restaurant under the new management cannot offer what Rosa had, the pizzas are smaller, have less toppings and don't taste good either! Probably won't go there again, it's a shame going there was always a highlight, even if you had to wait to get a seat. Unfortunately it's no longer good.

Simply TOP! My family and I are from Switzerland and were visiting Karlsruhe on Saturday. My old college friends from Karlsruhe recommended the restaurant to me and after a long day, this Italian restaurant was the best decision!! The terrace and the style with Italian flair spoke for themselves, but the service team was also so warm and accommodating. The nice owner Alberto even personally helped us choose the food and the food was very tasty 😍 We will definitely come back on our next visit!

I used to have the best pizza there, but unfortunately it hasn't been the same since the new owner. Higher prices and you get less for your money. Pizza toppings have halved and the dough has become quite tough and hard. The portions have become smaller. The family atmosphere that you had in the restaurant and the warm nature of the employees are no longer as they were back then. A pity.

The only downside, quickly forgotten: prices on average slightly higher than those of pizzerias in Karlsruhe. Definitely my favorite pizzeria in the area!

Best pizza is Durlach and Aue However, you can only pick it up, because the ambience and the outdoor area there are really not that inviting.

Wir essen hier alle paar Monate und waren noch nie enttäuscht. Die Preise sind sehr moderat, die Pizza schmeckt besonders gut, vielleicht weil sie aus einem echten Holzofen kommt. Noch nie mussten wir zu lange warten, noch nie hat man unsere Bestellung vergessen oder irgendwas verwechselt. Top. Weiter so.

Bin vor eine woche vorbei gefahren. Ich habe dort vor 38 Jahren gearbeitet und sah, wie der Außenbereich entstand, bevor es nur Sitzplätze im Innenbereich gab. Samstags und sonntags war es immer voll, Tony war da. Wenn es noch existiert, bedeutet das, dass wir gut gearbeitet haben und diejenigen, die jetzt dort arbeiten, es immer noch gut machen. Schön.

Ist OK aber vieeeel Zeit mitbringen. Mehrfach über eine Stunde Wartezeit auf Nudeln und pizza

Das Lokal liegt in einer typischen Vorstadtstraße von Durlach, in der man nicht unbedingt ein Restaurant erwartet. Man kann drinnen sitzen und draußen. Draußen ist es angenehmer. Die Pizzen waren gut belegt und schmackhaft, die Gnocchi mit Spinat und Gorgonzola besonders lecker. Der Beilagensalat war frisch und gut angemacht. Die Preise waren für Karlsruher Verhältnisse günstiger als das bei Tripadvisor angegebene Preisniveau €€-€€€. Der Service war aufmerksam, aber es war zu unserem Erstaunen am Sonntag um die Mittagszeit kaum was los - und die meisten Gäste waren italienische Stammkunden (auch ein gutes Zeichen). Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir zu Besuch in Karlsruhe sind.

Es ist kein 5 Sterne Restaurant, aber der authentischste Italiener den ich in Durlach kenne. Nicht ohne Grund schon so lange vor Ort angesessen. Wirklich gemütliches Flair und absolut leckere italienische Küche

Wir haben über 1,5 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet und als wir gefragt haben wie lange es noch daurt, kam ein dummer Spruch das andere auch warten… andere die nach uns gekommen sind wurden vor uns bedient. Essen war naja…. Zu viel Knoblauch kein Salz fader Geschmack. Die blonde Bedienung und die kleine etwas fülligere Dame waren sehr nett daher 1 Stern mehr, jedoch die ältere Dame sehr unhöflich und aggressiv. Ein zweites Mal wird es definitiv nicht geben!!!

Das Essen war okay. Leider fehlte etwas die Würze. Der gemischte Salat und die Pizza waren recht geschmacksneutral. Viel schlimmer war allerdings der Nachbartisch. Eine große Gruppe die wohl zur Familie der Besitzer gehört. Es war ab Mitte des Abends ein dauergekreische der Kinder dieser Gruppe (klar die Kinder waren wohl müde und wollten ins Bett). Es war auf jeden Fall von der Lautstärke sehr sehr unangenehm. Zudem lief alles sehr schleppend. Zur Krönung mussten wir unsere Rechnung selbst unter vier Personen aufteilen, weil der ausgesprochen bemühte und freundliche Kellner dies nicht mehr auf die Reihe bekam. Alles in allem werde ich dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen. Gibt deutlich ruhigere und organisiertere Restaurants in Karlsruhe.

Entweder haben wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt oder der Kellner hat ein Motivationsproblem. Die Rechnung wurde uns hingeworfen, beachtet wurden wir erst nach Winken mit beiden Armen. Das Essen hat recht lange gedauert weil zuvor eine Großbestellung zum abholen aufgegeben wurde - kann passieren. Essen selbst war überdurchschnittlich gut 👍🏻

Diese Pizzaria ist der Himmel auf Erden. Wir sind sogar nach den Öffnungszeiten gekommen und haben trotzdem eine wirklich sehr leckere Pizza bekommen. Der Geschmack übertraf vollkommen meine Erwartungen und aus dem Grund kann ich den Italiener auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.

Ich war mit Bekannten im Lokal. Jeder von uns hat ein anderes Essen gehabt. Ich habe Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten gegessen. Ich habe dazu noch einen kleinen Beilagensalat gehabt. Anschließend habe ich noch einen Espresso getrunken. Die Pizzen scheinen auch gut zu sein. Es wurden viele vorbestellte abgeholt.
