Great location, great food. The chanterelle soup was divine, the steaks were cooked to perfection, and the portions were truly filling. The service was very friendly and helpful. There's a lovely outdoor seating area, and there's also a playground for children. Parking is available along the side of the road if the yard is full. (I don't know what it's like on weekends.) We'll be back.

I found the steakhouse by "chance" while googling and thought I'd make a reservation! What they offer is absolutely exemplary!! A fantastic atmosphere (in the forest, idyllic), where you can really relax! The staff is almost frighteningly friendly (to put it mildly). Super accommodating, always smiling, and generally just makes you feel at home! A huge compliment to the staff!!! The food and prices were also more than reasonable!! The drinks, including various long drinks, were of a very high standard in terms of taste and very reasonably priced! There were three of us there, so we had three meals and a total of over 11 drinks, and we all got a very reasonable price! So, in my opinion, a perfect restaurant with a great selection of food and drinks, a great atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and super reasonable prices! Highly recommended, and I'm sure I'll go there more often!

We've eaten at the steakhouse a few times now. I have to say the food was always very good! The steak was always cooked exactly as ordered. The waitresses are quite good, but occasionally a drink reorder is forgotten. However, when asked, the drinks arrive very quickly.

It's a lovely, cozy restaurant that looks neat and tidy. The staff was friendly upon arrival, and we were allowed to choose a table. We started with garlic bread, which was delicious and surprisingly good because of the dill they used. For our main course, we ordered the tenderloin with potato croquettes, a baked potato with herb butter, pepper sauce, mushroom sauce, and a small green salad. Unfortunately, they forgot the pepper sauce, and the baked potato with cream was delivered instead of the herb butter we ordered. The 300-gram tenderloin was very tender and flavorful, but unfortunately, the inside was cold. This is quite bad for such a piece of high-quality meat, and I'm therefore deducting a star from my rating. The dessert was delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the main course, but I did take pictures of the dessert. The bill would have been reasonable if they had delivered the tenderloin correctly. In hindsight, I now feel I overpaid. Still, I think they have the capacity to deliver real quality.

More than an hour of waiting. Still no food. And unfortunately, it's a weekday. I can't comment on the food yet.

Addendum: Today (one week later) we ordered a pasta dish, a beef fillet, fries, and Gorgonzola sauce from the website. Delivery was supposed to be 40 minutes late. I honestly couldn't believe it, but it really was. The food was nice and hot and everything was delicious. I was most surprised by the fries: super tasty, I haven't had such good ones in ages. Conclusion: If we can't make it to the restaurant but want a delicious meal, we'll order there. Thanks to the team there and the friendly delivery driver. The lumberjack steak wasn't great, unfortunately, just tendons. My fillet was perfect, I would order again.

Update from July 23, 2025 If this had been our first visit, it would have been our last. Yes, it was quite busy, but there were still seats available. We had to wait a very long time for drinks, appetizers, and main courses. No one cleared the empty appetizer plates, and no one asked for new drinks. The meat was more well-done than medium. The side dishes were rather cold. I also have a different understanding of fried potatoes; they used to be different. They weren't bad, but for me, they were like potato gravy in herbs. You can do better, and we'll be back because we know it can be done better.

The three of us had dinner there on July 23, 2025, and we say THANK YOU! Truly amazing, delicious food and the friendliest service! We absolutely recommend it. We'll be back...

König Ludwig Dunkel on tap. A dream. Lamb fillet cooked to perfection. The steak too. Even the "plain" schnitzel was particularly tasty. I don't usually rate fries, but these deserve a mention. Humorous, quick, and attentive service. Absolutely fair prices. Everything was great.

The steakhouse has a prime location, and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. We would have expected more care with the grilled platters we ordered. The onion rings were of poor quality, and a salad garnish was completely missing.

On our vacation in the area, we ate at this restaurant twice, as it was our favorite. Delicious food, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, and excellent service with extraordinary professionalism and friendliness from the waiter. We won't hesitate to return next time.

We were recommended the Steakhouse, so we headed there today, Father's Day. We had reserved a table in advance. The atmosphere was great, and the place had a sophisticated feel. There were even free tables and tables set. The menu came immediately, and the drinks were on our tables within minutes. Nothing was left to be desired: the meat was very tender and cooked to perfection, the salad was fresh, and the side dishes were top-notch. We give it a full five stars, and we'll be back in 10 days with a reservation for a small birthday party. Thanks to the entire team for your impeccable work. RESPECT!

Renovated restaurant, beautifully decorated. Very friendly service and owner. It was very busy on a Sunday, so we had to wait an hour for our food. The food was okay, except for the salmon spaghetti, which we found too salty. I would recommend the restaurant, but maybe not on Sundays.

A wonderful alternative to the existing restaurant offerings in and around KW. The salad is worth an extra star, consists of at least 10 different ingredients or salad variations, so many a chef can take a leaf out of it. The fillet almost melted in your mouth. The ice cream scoop for dessert was huge. The service was impeccable...all in all a great evening. The next table is already reserved ;)

Yes, I can highly recommend this place. The food is always very tasty, the service guys are always really nice, friendly and accommodating. We eat there at least once a month. The burgers are really, really good.

Full rating - no question. From the cheapest dish (delicious burger) to the most expensive (fillet steak), everything was on our table. The quality of the dishes was undisputed without any objection. Nice service. You decide whether the price of the fillet steak fits your price expectations in relation to the location. I will attend the rodeo again. A dog seems to be welcome here without prior notice.

Restaurant Waldesruh – A culinary insider tip Through a recommendation we came to the Waldesruh restaurant, which we would probably never have discovered otherwise - and what luck! My meal, a perfectly cooked steak with asparagus, was a real treat. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the attention to detail. The service was friendly, despite the visible hustle and bustle. A small criticism was the organization: it took two orders to get water. Other than that, the experience exceeded all expectations. An important note: reservation is essential, especially on weekends. Without pre-ordering it is almost impossible to get a spot. Of course, this also speaks for the popularity of the restaurant. Overall, we can warmly recommend the Waldesruh restaurant. A place that impresses with quality, taste and atmosphere.

The Steakhaus Waldesruh in Senzig offers a very pleasant atmosphere for holding celebrations like in my case. None of the guests at my party were in this restaurant for the first time. Very nice restaurant with a great ambience. The service was courteous, friendly and personable. The rooms are well maintained, the toilet is clean and modern. For me personally, the food was one of the best I've been served in a restaurant recently. The meat (No. 90) was fried to perfection and the whole presentation was more than appealing. The dessert (chocolate soufflé) was delicious, beautifully presented, and the ice cream was homemade? After a long hike around the lake, the delicious dishes here were exactly what we needed. All at a good price. Quote from our daughter: "I have never eaten such tender meat (children's sirloin steak)". That's right, there's even a children's sirloin steak, great! This gives a full 5 stars, great restaurant with great staff. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. A small negative point was one colleague who was looking at something loudly on his cell phone during his break, which disturbed the atmosphere a little for me as a guest. The side dishes were excellent and complemented the culinary experience wonderfully. There were problems with card payment and I had to pay later via Paypal. I'm very disappointed never again. After the long unsuccessful attempts to pay for the food, I'm no longer looking for hot fried potatoes, not even crispy fried, slices of fried potatoes that are way too thick. Not ok given the high price for the food...
