We've been here several times now and are still thrilled. The service is extremely customer-oriented, quick, and cheerful. The food is of very high quality and beautifully presented. Making a reservation is highly recommended, as many others are already familiar with the advantages of this restaurant. A definite recommendation.

Unfortunately, the waiters are very cold, and the welcome is poor. They don't ask if you enjoyed your meal, etc. No high chair is provided; you have to find one yourself. The portions are very small and expensive. Sauces come in plastic packets... and they're probably pre-made meals too.

We visited the Waldesruh Steakhouse in Senzig for the first time and were absolutely thrilled! Despite the restaurant being packed, the food arrived surprisingly quickly, and the service was attentive, warm, and professional throughout our entire visit. I'd especially like to commend their handling of allergies: The team has a great understanding of the subject and was able to competently offer us gluten-free options – which, unfortunately, isn't always the case, and we were very pleased! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the appetizers and salads were also crisp and fresh. With eight people, it was a perfect birthday celebration. We will definitely be back!

We waited over an hour just to be served or even to place an order. And when we finally got through to the waiter, he seriously told us we'd have to wait another 15-20 minutes. After already waiting for over an hour! That's simply disrespectful. We had booked well in advance and were still moved from our table. The organization was nonexistent. If a restaurant can't handle service on a special day like Valentine's Day, it should just close that day. We traveled from out of town, investing time, money, and gas, because we were swayed by the good reviews. A huge mistake. The reality had absolutely nothing to do with the reviews. In the end, we left without eating—because at some point, it's simply a matter of respect. Waiting another 20 minutes would have been ridiculous. Never again. Utterly disappointing.

This was our fourth visit to this restaurant, and I'm thrilled with the food. My steak has always been excellent, and everyone else has been equally satisfied. The ambiance is also very pleasant. It's sure to be even better in the summer when the outdoor seating area is available. The staff is very attentive, although one person seems a bit overly friendly, almost excessive. But I'd rather have it that way than the other :-) Once we went without a reservation, which was a close call. Seating was limited, and they had to find an empty corner. Therefore, I would definitely recommend making a reservation. The prices are a bit on the high side, which is reflected in the quality of the food and the setting. Parking in the courtyard is nearly impossible, but you can park on the street.

We spontaneously decided to visit the Waldesruh Steakhouse for the first time today with our two children after a walk, and we were absolutely thrilled. Great location, extremely friendly service, and sensational food. My steak skewer had a beautiful sear on the outside and was cooked to a perfect medium-rare on the inside. The burger and the salmon fillet with salad were also very good. We will definitely be back.

This steakhouse was recommended to us by friends. As on our first visit, I ordered a rump steak, served with green beans and fried potatoes. WARNING: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! Even though the price is a bit steep, the meal is worth every penny. The filet steaks are also excellent. We will definitely be back.

We were just there again and were once again absolutely thrilled. Friendly service, finally some dark beer on tap, and above all, the food—there was absolutely nothing to complain about! But here, it's not just the (incidentally, really excellent) chef/griller who really knows his craft that deserves special mention. No, the buyer is also top-notch. The steak was so tender, something you hardly ever find in steakhouses in Berlin and the surrounding area these days. Next time, we'll bring our Blockhouse steak pepper (which completes the meal, just as a small suggestion), but we'll definitely be coming back often in the cooler weather we're expecting. And I'm actually a very critical guest, especially when it comes to steak; hardly anyone can grill it to such perfection. I'd have to think long and hard about where it's been better... We also had a veggie burger, rump steak, and a schnitzel, and they all got full marks, too! Great location, great food. The chanterelle soup was divine, the steaks were cooked to perfection, and the portions were truly filling. The service was very friendly and helpful. There's a lovely outdoor seating area, and there's also a playground for children. Parking is available along the side of the road if the yard is full. (I don't know what it's like on weekends.) We'll be back.

I found the steakhouse by "chance" while googling and thought I'd make a reservation! What they offer is absolutely exemplary!! A fantastic atmosphere (in the forest, idyllic), where you can really relax! The staff is almost frighteningly friendly (to put it mildly). Super accommodating, always smiling, and generally just makes you feel at home! A huge compliment to the staff!!! The food and prices were also more than reasonable!! The drinks, including various long drinks, were of a very high standard in terms of taste and very reasonably priced! There were three of us there, so we had three meals and a total of over 11 drinks, and we all got a very reasonable price! So, in my opinion, a perfect restaurant with a great selection of food and drinks, a great atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and super reasonable prices! Highly recommended, and I'm sure I'll go there more often!

We've eaten at the steakhouse a few times now. I have to say the food was always very good! The steak was always cooked exactly as ordered. The waitresses are quite good, but occasionally a drink reorder is forgotten. However, when asked, the drinks arrive very quickly.

It's a lovely, cozy restaurant that looks neat and tidy. The staff was friendly upon arrival, and we were allowed to choose a table. We started with garlic bread, which was delicious and surprisingly good because of the dill they used. For our main course, we ordered the tenderloin with potato croquettes, a baked potato with herb butter, pepper sauce, mushroom sauce, and a small green salad. Unfortunately, they forgot the pepper sauce, and the baked potato with cream was delivered instead of the herb butter we ordered. The 300-gram tenderloin was very tender and flavorful, but unfortunately, the inside was cold. This is quite bad for such a piece of high-quality meat, and I'm therefore deducting a star from my rating. The dessert was delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the main course, but I did take pictures of the dessert. The bill would have been reasonable if they had delivered the tenderloin correctly. In hindsight, I now feel I overpaid. Still, I think they have the capacity to deliver real quality.

More than an hour of waiting. Still no food. And unfortunately, it's a weekday. I can't comment on the food yet.

Update from July 23, 2025 If this had been our first visit, it would have been our last. Yes, it was quite busy, but there were still seats available. We had to wait a very long time for drinks, appetizers, and main courses. No one cleared the empty appetizer plates, and no one asked for new drinks. The meat was more well-done than medium. The side dishes were rather cold. I also have a different understanding of fried potatoes; they used to be different. They weren't bad, but for me, they were like potato gravy in herbs. You can do better, and we'll be back because we know it can be done better.

Addendum: Today (one week later) we ordered a pasta dish, a beef fillet, fries, and Gorgonzola sauce from the website. Delivery was supposed to be 40 minutes late. I honestly couldn't believe it, but it really was. The food was nice and hot and everything was delicious. I was most surprised by the fries: super tasty, I haven't had such good ones in ages. Conclusion: If we can't make it to the restaurant but want a delicious meal, we'll order there. Thanks to the team there and the friendly delivery driver. The lumberjack steak wasn't great, unfortunately, just tendons. My fillet was perfect, I would order again.

König Ludwig Dunkel on tap. A dream. Lamb fillet cooked to perfection. The steak too. Even the "plain" schnitzel was particularly tasty. I don't usually rate fries, but these deserve a mention. Humorous, quick, and attentive service. Absolutely fair prices. Everything was great.
