The food is very tasty, but the portions are relatively small and €9 for 6 mozzarella sticks that come from the freezer is just a little too expensive. The atmosphere is good and pleasant. But you have to work on the prices.

Schöner Laden im Norden Wuppertals, gut gelegen im Grünen und alles erinnerte mich an die andere Road Stop Filiale an der Hohensyburg. Der Service war schnell und freundlich; trotz eines gut gefüllten Gastraums kam das Essen nach nur 20 Minuten. Ich hatte den. Classic Smash Burger der sau lecker und ziemlich groß war. Die Pommes dazu hätte ich auch weglassen können - war echt satt von dem Oschi. Anschließen noch nen Abstecher in den hauseigenen Racing Room gemacht, wo die Kameraden sichtlich amüsiert ihre Runden zogen. Derweil einen netten Plausch mit dem Chef gehabt, authentischer Typ. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen bei Gelegenheit sicher wieder. PS: Die Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf das Restaurant da wir im dazugehörigen Motel nicht genächtigt haben.

Very nice, individual rooms. Since it is on a busy street, the view of the intersection and street is not that nice, only three stars for the location. But it is easily accessible. The restaurant looks very American. With appropriate music it would have been even more authentic. The food was good overall. Unfortunately, at first the cooking point of the meat was completely wrong. Instead of medium there was shoe sole. But it was exchanged without any problems. On the second attempt the meat was good, but the side dishes were now cold. They were then brought in again. So overall everything is ok. The only thing that didn't exist was "common" food. Everything took some time. But something like that can happen. The service in the restaurant was really very friendly and accommodating. If we are in the region we would stay there again.

Lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen! Wir haben 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, dann kam unser Essen nicht zeitgleich an den Tisch, so dass ein Teil der Freunde von uns schon fast fertig waren mit dem Essen, während wir erst unser Essen bekamen! Fritten wurden lange vor dem Burger serviert, so dass man diese als Vorspeise essen musste! Essen war gut, jedoch teuer und Mayo und Ketchup wird mit knapp 1 Euro veranschlagt, wo man diese in anderen Restaurants gratis bekommt! Für uns wird es eher keine Wiederholung geben! Service wurde erst etwas aufmerksamer als wir unsere Beschwerde kundgetan haben!

Ordered food at 6:05 p.m. (both hamburgers and fries), food arrived at 6:55 p.m. when the dining room was maybe 2/3 full, so really not much activity on Sunday evening. The food was tasty, but not particularly special, but unfortunately quite expensive and very little. Unfortunately, the drinks were probably empty of syrup, the cola was brown but tasted like water. Complaints were only made when clearing up because “only” the temporary help brought the food. So food without drinks. After all, these were not calculated. Overall, unfortunately disappointing for us. It's a shame, we wanted to experience the American diner feeling, but nothing came of it.

Nice shop in the north of Wuppertal, well located in the countryside and everything reminded me of the other Road Stop branch on Hohensyburg. Service was quick and friendly; Despite a well-filled dining room, the food came after only 20 minutes. I had that. Classic Smash Burger which was delicious and quite big. I could have left out the fries - I was really full of the Oschi. We then took a detour to the in-house racing room, where our comrades were visibly enjoying themselves as they did their laps. Meanwhile had a nice chat with the boss, authentic guy. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back when the opportunity arises. PS: The review only refers to the restaurant as we didn't stay in the motel attached to it.

Letzten Sonntag Nachmittag spontan vor Ort gewesen. Essen war sehr lecker. Spare Ribs mit BBQ Sauce, sowie Pommes und einen Burger PUll Pork. Dazu einen leckeren Nachtisch. Es hat sich gelohnt, wenn man solches Essen mag, dann sollte man einen Besuch beim Roadstop in Erwägung ziehen.

Dann nahm das Unheil seinen Lauf, und zwar mit dem Parkplatz, kein Platz beim Restaurant. Also Wanderschuhe auspacken und in der Umgebung parken. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde uns der Tisch zugewiesen und nach ca. einer halben Stunde wurde dann auch die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen. Bitte bedenken Sie hier, der Tisch war nur für zwei Stunden reserviert. Nach ca. einer Stunde bekamen die Ersten Ihre Speisen, die Letzten aus unserer Gruppe ca. zehn Minuten später. Bitte bedenken Sie hier, der Tisch war nur für zwei Stunden reserviert. Außerdem waren alle Speise lauwarm bis kalt und von Qualität kann keine Rede sein, Preis / Leistungsverhältnis liegen hier seeeeehr weit auseinander. Kurz vor der Deadline von zwei Stunden, wir hatten gerade den letzten Bissen heruntergeschluckt, wurde wir darauf hingewiesen, dass die neuen Gäste schon warten würden. Das Personal, Küche und Service, waren hoffnungslos überfordert und der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit kam dann beim Bezahlen. Ich wurde hier von der Kellnerin gefragt wieviel Trinkgeld sie einbehalten durfte!!! The restaurant is very nice and so spacious that you can find a quiet corner for yourself. The portions are advertised by the staff as being quite large, but I found them to be fairly normal, if not "small". The prices are disproportionately high. I also find it outrageous how much it is imposed on you how much you have to tip. This is staggered, but if I wanted to give even less, it would be too much. We won't be visiting this restaurant again because it was definitely not worth it for the money, which is a shame.

Despite the manageable number of visitors, it took a long time until we had our food. When asked whether there could be something different with the cola, the young man replied that the syrup would probably be empty and we should report it soon before we had drunk 1/3 of the cola. Apart from that, the food was delicious, especially the fries, but at €30 per person including a drink it was disproportionately expensive.

Perfect Evening – Fantastic Service & Delicious Food! We had dinner at Road Stop Wuppertal yesterday and had an absolutely great evening! The food was, as always, excellent – ​​fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. But the absolute highlight was our young waiter! With his friendly, relaxed and professional manner, he guided us through the evening and kept us entertained. His charming and attentive manner created a great atmosphere and made us feel completely at home. This is exactly how you imagine perfect service! Kudos to the team - we will definitely be back and hope to be served by this great waiter again. Absolute recommendation!

We only ate there. The food was good as usual. However, it took a good 45 minutes until we got it. The waiter was a self-absorbed guy with bad manners. Other service staff tried to clear the table twice while food was still being eaten. With all due respect, I'm approaching 70 and don't want to be referred to by a young person. Maybe employees should be trained a little more on scope forms. I usually like to give a lot of tips, but with this type of service, I refrained from tipping. Mettmann and Essen clearly have the better staff. But....... I'm just talking about a rude waiter. The other employees are definitely great. Otherwise everything is fine.

After being slightly disappointed after our first visit a few years ago, we gave the store a second chance. And: yes, it was worth it. The presentation fits perfectly and we really liked it. Now all that's missing is the right western band, then it could definitely be somewhere in the USA 😉🤠. The service was friendly and attentive, the food (our point of criticism the first time) was completely convincing. The burgers were a reasonable size, had decent toppings and were nicely prepared. The fries also impressed us. The only point of criticism: the price is unfortunately really high, as the fries are on top of the already not cheap prices. Maybe a combination price could be introduced here?! For 2 x burgers, 2 x fries (including mayo or ketchup) and 2 small beers, over €50 is already steep.

If you feel like having great burger and drinks in a lowkey and relaxing environment with great vibes of freedom, then the ‘Murica diner Road Stop in Wuppertal is the place to be. The venue is neatly decorated to be anything and everything southern United States that offers self brewed beers, good drinks, tasty burgers and crispy and fresh curly fries, absolutely bomb. The environment is both inviting and comfy and the waiters are super friendly and attentive. Quite a good place to go for a comfortable, slow and cozy burger dinner!

This week I had a group meal at this restaurant and unfortunately I have to say that I will not be returning. At my age, I don't like being addressed as “you” by every waitress. This is a personal preference, but I can overlook it. It is important to me that the dish I order corresponds to the description. I was looking forward to crispy fries with slow smoked pulled pork, coleslaw, red onions and smoked BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, I received a dish that was barely above room temperature. The fries were barely salted, almost mushy and covered in meat and lettuce. The meat was tasteless and had a finely fibrous consistency, while the salad and sauce had no particular taste. I was allowed to try it from my tablemates, and their fries were crispy, salty and noticeably warmer. In order not to disturb the good mood in the group, I decided not to complain and simply pushed the food to the side. When I was asked when paying if it was tasty, I said no and explained that I didn't want to argue and just wanted to pay. I was then informed several times that I should have reported myself. After pointing out several times that I wanted to pay and didn't want to have a discussion, I was finally able to pay. If the waitress hadn't tried to start a discussion, hardly anyone in my group would have heard anything - so now almost everyone knew. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

A restaurant with charm and lots of space in American style and beautiful colorful decorations themed after a road strip! We really enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere! We were there early in the evening and there was still parking available. The restaurant was still pretty empty and without a reservation we were assigned a nice seat right by the window, it was really cozy and nice. The young lady was always friendly with a smiling face. The burgers came after about 20 minutes. They were okay for us and the smashed meat could have been a little warmer. The fries with mayo and sweet potatoes with garlic sauce were delicious😋 The toilet there was very clean But the many stairs up to the top weren't that pleasant for me personally and you had to be really careful because the lighting was rather dim for me! Overall the visit was good and now a new experience has been enriched!

I went there for sim racing and have been there regularly as a guest in Hattingen. As always, I received a friendly welcome at the new location; in principle, I didn't notice any difference. I had a really nice conversation with the "waitress", thank you very much for that Christina (I hope I got the name right). As before in Hattingen, the location is incredibly clean and well maintained. The simulators are in excellent condition, every time I feel like I'm actually sitting in a racing car and I completely forget that this is just a simulator. A great “hobby” that I will continue to indulge in regularly! Small addendum: the drink prices here are really moderate compared to before! I haven't eaten here yet, but what isn't there can still be. Anyone who wants to spend a nice evening here is obviously in good hands here.

Ich war mit meiner Familie dort essen, weil ich das Restarant seit vielen Jahren zum Geburtstag besuche. Diesmal war es leider nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Als Vorspeisen hatten wir Süßkartoffelpommes, normale Pommes und Twisted Potatofries. Dazu verschiedene Dips. Vorspeise war im Großen und Ganzen sehr gut. Als Hauptspeise gab es Burger und Sparerips. Die Sparerips waren sehr zart und sind fast von alleine vom Knochen abgefallen. Von den Burgern war ich sehr enttäuscht. Ich hatte einen Kentucky Ranche Burger. Wenn man den Burger aufgeschnitten hat, hat man am Fleisch schon gesehen, dass dieses Patty nicht frisch ist. Als ich ein Biss vom Burger genommen habe, hat man dies leider auch geschmeckt. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, weil ich das so nicht kenne. War für mich leider der letzte Besuch in diesem Restaurant.

I really like the location, but the service is not good and the quality of the food is rather poor. We were a large birthday group and in 80% of the cases the food was cold and the quality was simply poor. The steaks were cold, when I ordered a jacket potato with sour cream, a soup made from sour cream came and a small potato was found in it. When I wanted this corrected, I was told that I had to order again and also pay. This is not a service! When the weather is good in August, only half of the tables are served outside and the playground is dingy. The prices for the poor food were a disgrace. It's a shame because the location with a Wild West theme is really cool. There has to be someone who has leadership, then it could be something again! I can't say anything about the hotel.

The room was practical for one night, simply kept, a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. If you like themed rooms, you'll get your money's worth here. As mentioned when booking, check-in is only possible from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Accordingly, we interrupted our evening and went back to the hotel to get the key. However, it was not a physical key, but two codes (hotel access and room). We don't understand why we had to go back to the hotel specifically for this. The codes could have been sent to us after 4 p.m. via email, WhatsApp, SMS...

We always like to eat there, but only if we order in advance. It's always full there...

I had a delicious burger. As an American Expat it's so nice to find someplace that is like home. They even had a sign from the Interstate Highway that passes by my Michigan home! Excellent menu options and I look forward to going here often.

We were there for the first time today. There is enough parking space and we easily got a table even without a reservation. The young man in service lives his job and is very attentive. We were able to order drinks straight away and they came very quickly. We needed some time to choose our food. The waiting time after ordering was completely fine, all the food came at the same time. Steak medium plus was perfect three times. The lemon cheesecake was great. It is neither cheap nor cheap. But inexpensive. Namely worth its price. Quality just costs a little more. I also really like the iced tea and the way it is produced.

This time we went to the Road Stop in Wuppertal for a book reading with the Crime Cops 👮🚨. A separate room is used for this so that you can listen to the reading in peace. We really had a lot of fun here 👍 But of course we ate something there beforehand. I had a tasty vegan burger and curly fries and my two companions each had a vegetarian version. The restaurant was very busy, even though it was the middle of the week. The service staff were all very nice and helpful and the three of us really enjoyed the burgers. The berry-mint tea we ordered was also good. The toilet facility was also clean, but a faucet was loose, a soap dispenser was completely empty and a hand basin was broken. This should be repaired. But otherwise it was a nice evening.

Worst restaurant experience in a long time. Unsuitable for pregnant women. Long waiting times (a bit strange for fast food). Burger bun inside with lots of black spots that had to be scraped off. A smashed burger that was neither smashed nor fried crispy with unmelted cheese... And a portion of potatoes that was ridiculous for the price (9 small half triplets of mini potatoes for 5 euros), which were also burnt. Ideal for pregnant women who have had to go without their food today. Never again and one star is too many. Edit: Apparently that was too much sarcasm. It was not written here that pregnant women cannot find food on the menu. But if the kitchen refuses to remake burnt food (which should never happen, but is even worse with pregnant women than it already is), then unfortunately you go home without food. There's no point in basically having items on the map...

I was at the Road Stop American Diner on September 29th at 3:30 p.m. The atmosphere was nice and there were a lot of details in the decor, however it was quite dark and quite loud inside, which made the stay a little less pleasant. The long wait was particularly annoying - it took over 30 minutes to get my first drink. Unfortunately, the prices on the menu surprised me very much. For a 0.4 soda 6 euros, the Yosemite Volcano Burger for 19 euros and a portion of sweet potato fries for 7 euros - I thought that was extremely overpriced. Although the burger tasted good, it was definitely not worth 19 euros. The sweet potato fries were excellent, but the portion was far too large as a side dish. Half for half the price would have done it too. The lemonade was mostly ice cubes with a few frozen fruits - in my opinion that doesn't justify 6 euros. Overall, the food was tasty, but nothing about this visit justified the 32 euros I paid for it. For 25 I would have said everything was fine but unfortunately I won't be coming back.

I can recommend Road Stop Wuppertal, but the roadstop in Mettmann and Münster are a lot better. This one is pretty nice, but I didn't look for attention to detail here. There are a few small, beautifully arranged decorations, but they cannot be compared with the other roadstops. The burgers are of course great. The service was nice. But unfortunately it seemed kind of listless.

BUT: Unfortunately the waiting time isn't possible at all....We waited an hour for our food.....and the shop wasn't really full! That needs to be improved, otherwise everything is fine.

I can't say anything about the rooms, I only had food at the Road Stop. After I was very enthusiastic about the ambience - I would give it five big stars - I turned my attention to the menu. And I was overwhelmed by the many delicious things that were or are listed there. I finally decided on the Vulcano Yosemity Burger. I still dream about this burger and will and have to eat it again and completely piss myself off while eating it. I usually drink beer when I eat, but I was driving and ordered a Coke. Unfortunately it was very watery. It's a real shame. No offense, but next time someone else will drive. And I'll just drink beer again! Keep it up...... Cornelius Becker

I was at the Roadstop Wuppertal with my girlfriend today and I was thrilled once again! The reservation for two people went smoothly online, and even though we arrived 5 minutes early, we were friendly escorted through the busy restaurant to our table. The waitress was super nice and took our order after just 2 minutes. The food actually arrived in just 10 minutes – incredibly fast! I've been here many times, but today the spare ribs were even more delicious than usual. Kudos to the kitchen! We’re always happy to come back to you 😊

Fantastic experience at the Roadstop Wuppertal I had the pleasure of visiting Roadstop Wuppertal recently and I have to say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were impressed by the unique and welcoming atmosphere. The rustic yet modern design combined with the comfortable seating creates an ambience that is perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. The menu offers a wide selection of American classics, and every bite was a delight. We started with the crispy nachos, which were served with plenty of cheese, jalapeños and a delicious salsa. For my main course I chose the BBQ Bacon Burger, which was simply incredible - juicy, grilled to perfection and topped with a delicious combination of smoky bacon and tangy BBQ sauce. The side dishes, particularly the crispy fries and coleslaw, were also excellent. My companion chose the rib-eye steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy and full of flavor. The portions were generous and we enjoyed every minute of our meal. Finally, we couldn't resist and ordered the New York Cheesecake, which was just as delicious as it looked. New favorite restaurant! The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive and contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We got a table with five people at very short notice and were able to choose whether we wanted to sit outside or inside. The restaurant was very clean, all the employees seemed friendly, the drink order was taken quickly and brought to the table very quickly. The food also came relatively quickly despite there being a lot of people in the restaurant. The food was impeccable and the price-performance ratio is great! The toilets are also clean and the smell is good. Everything is great! Gladly again.

I can't say anything about the hotel. Always just eat there. Very tasty, nice young service staff, parking spaces on site and you also have the option to sit outside. I really like it there.

For the prices quoted, the waiting time is a complete disgrace. When we arrived we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes. After 2 hours we still had no food and no information from the staff. That's not how you treat customers. If you are so poorly staffed, you have to reduce the number of tables, especially since there is no table service outside. You have to get your own drinks at the bar. Our ordered food was only brought after we asked several times. Unfortunately cold and the wrong one. After another complaint, we got the money back for a dish, but we went home with sad children. We will definitely not be coming back and would advise against visiting here!

The three of us were there today, Sunday August 18th, 2024, to celebrate my colleague's birthday. The table was reserved for 7:15 p.m., but we got there a little earlier and were allowed to sit down. The appetizer (nachos) didn't arrive until an hour after I ordered. We left the restaurant at 9:15 p.m. We had to pay €44.25 for the drinks and the nachos, without any accommodation from the staff. This is simply outrageous and disrespectful. We ended up celebrating my colleague's birthday at McDonald's. It was the first and last time I visited this restaurant. I understand the longer waiting times, but not the fact that we had to constantly actively approach the staff to ask about our food. The absolute highlight was that there was no apology, no discount was offered and other guests who had definitely arrived after us received their food much earlier. The service on site is an absolute disaster. PS we weren't informed beforehand that it would take longer then we wouldn't have stayed there in the first place.

Unfortunately not worth a visit. Completely disorganized kitchen that seems to choose randomly from the receipts. Waiting for 1.5 hours, at least 3 tables that were occupied after us received food. That was enough... Waiting time is one thing, but please do it in order! And even after asking twice, no one could say when our food might come.
