Road House in Rheda-Wiedenbrück

We discovered this place by chance and came across some good reviews. Since we were coming from 300km away, we wanted to have dinner there. There was no one to greet us when we entered. However, there were tables available. We sat down, and shortly after, the server came and asked if we had a reservation. We hadn't, but we just wanted to grab a quick bite, if possible. The first server left, and shortly after, another woman came and told us that we couldn't just sit down and that we had to leave. As hosts, they certainly have the right to do so. We found this behavior insulting. The tone was absolutely unfriendly. No alternative was offered, such as sitting at the bar until a table became available, etc. We cannot recommend this place, as we did not feel welcome as guests. We would have liked to try the food, but unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity. Note to management: please urgently address customer service practices.

We had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food. The burger wasn't bad, but for €17.50 it was a bit small and only lukewarm; I've had better. The atmosphere was good.

We were there this week and I was absolutely thrilled, and so were the others. As soon as we walked in, I thought, "Wow... What a lovely place!" After we placed our order, we were very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the lovely staff. And after we finished eating, the food itself was absolutely fantastic! All in all, it was a wonderful evening. I haven't been so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant in a long time.

The service was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious; we hadn't been there for a while, but as always, we were very impressed. We booked the table online and everything went perfectly!

The sandwich had very hard bread, which I wasn't expecting. Since I wasn't paying a small amount, I expected something better... Waiting time for my order was over an hour.

Thanks to the convenient proximity to the RV parking space, we spontaneously decided to eat there! Very nice, friendly staff, fast drinks delivery, and the food arrived at our table in good time!

I can recommend the Road House. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the shandy was also great. There's also a large parking lot right in front.

So, first of all, four of us were there last night, and we'd love to come back. We ordered ribs, two Road House burgers, and a Cujan chicken burger, and for dessert we had brownies and homemade cheesecake. I should add that we reserved the spot a week ago, so reservations are essential. There was a dartboard and a pool table. The service was helpful, courteous, and friendly.

If you want to give yourself the edge with ribs, you've come to the right place ;)

The highlight are definitely the spare rips. The waiters are also great, especially Alex:) The selection of draft beer is great! People like to come here more often.

The food was good! The owner's behavior was unprofessional. Our food took longer to prepare. The waiter was not informed at all about the menu. The waiters also ignored us. It was very loud and without Music. So not recommended from my side.

The atmosphere is probably exactly what you'd expect. I thought the food was okay, but everything was a bit too sweet for my taste. The burgers and spare ribs are the signature dishes, and we were all satisfied. The price-performance ratio is a bit too high for the portion size and the quality we expected. The restaurant is loud, even without live music, so the waitress often had to ask loudly to ensure everyone was served properly.

A friend recommended the spare ribs to me and I wasn't disappointed. My expectations were far exceeded and the side dish (potato wedges) was also very good. The ambience is like an “American diner” but not ideal for eating and chatting together as it was louder than average. The service was very friendly but seemed a bit uncoordinated. Due to the many changes in the person responsible for the table, two things were forgotten. However, upon request, the forgotten items were added later. Overall, definitely worth the visit!

BBQ sauce doesn't taste good and the ribs were dry and tough. Definitely not a recommendation. I won't be coming back. I have to give it one star because I blew the toilet afterwards

We've been coming there for spareribs for years. These are incomparable to other restaurants. Just super delicious! However, we didn't really like the service yesterday. She was know-it-all and not particularly customer friendly. The location at the front is very dignified and attractive. If you sit in the back when the house is full, it's so loud that you have to shout at each other. Not exactly what you would imagine for a cozy get-together.

Delicious, I'm sitting here right now and find the atmosphere to be really casual. I had a Cuja Chicken Burger which was very tasty, the wedges were extremely crispy and well prepared. The waiters are all extremely nice and overall everything is very perfect. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is simply great. I can only recommend it! :)

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The service was extremely unfriendly and inattentive. The staff didn't seem motivated or interested in providing guests with a pleasant experience. We had to wait forever for our order and when the food finally came it wasn't even complete. The staff responded to our query with annoyance and made us wait even longer. In addition, the entire team seemed disorganized - orders were mixed up, and instead of apologizing, we were treated rudely. Overall a very unpleasant experience. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Hello, the food is as always very tasty, just like you would expect from Road House. The staff is always very friendly and nice, as it should be. Still the reference for ribs and burgers!! Haven't found anyone who can do it better yet!! The rib sauce is perfect! Be sure to reserve. A must for burger and rib lovers.

I usually reserve a table online and it always works out great. So far we have always been served politely and quickly, without getting the feeling that the table had to be vacated quickly. Drinks always came quickly and the waitress always paid attention to the tables and politely asked if anything was missing or wanted. The food was excellent for my taste. (ribs) I would just have to give one star less for the ambience. This is due to the acoustics, as it gets quite loud as soon as several tables are occupied. All in all, I would be happy to come back and always recommend the Road House. Thank you for a great evening at your restaurant.

A very nice restaurant, service very friendly, the food excellent. The spare ribs were super tender, meat fell off the bone as soon as you touched it, that's how it should be and the burger 🍔 was also a pleasure. If we come by again with the motorhome, we know where we will eat again.

Great location, American style with attention to detail. Relaxed atmosphere with chilled music in keeping with the “Roadhouse” theme. Was warmly received. Service was friendly and quick. The real hit for us: the “Roadhouse Burger”. With one of the BEST burgers I've ever eaten. Real compliments to the kitchen!!!! With potato strips and sour cream and coleslow salad it's really awesome :-). Gladly again !

Nice location in the style of an American diner. Great burgers with lots of homemade ingredients, I can also recommend the salads. Reduced service because only cash payment is possible - that is neither contemporary nor customer-friendly in 2024.

As always, the food was great and the atmosphere was great. The ribs are highly recommended. Just crazy. Usually the service is good and fast. Unfortunately, this was not the case on our last visit. The waiters were overwhelmed, even though the place was far from full. The orders took a long time and the waiters came by very late to take further orders. In general the waiting time was simply too long. It's a shame, we actually know it better.

Really good restaurant where you can eat, sit and drink very well. The spare ribs are particularly recommended here: really delicious! However, the recommendation here is that you should make a reservation early, as the restaurant is not unknown and is therefore always very busy!

A restaurant with the best spare ribs ever, served with a perfect sauce. The meat falls off the bone. So even for people who don't eat spare ribs because they don't like eating with their fingers, it's no problem. The spare ribs are available in two sizes - in my opinion you should always choose large. The service is attentive and quick. When it's full, the meal takes a while - but it's worth it. Ambience is solid.

No customers are welcome. If you come after 10 p.m., the owner says the restaurant is closed and you will be thrown out.

It's worth a visit, the burgers and ribs are really tasty. Unfortunately no card payment possible - I think it's a real shame! The volume was sometimes too loud. The room itself is a bit noisy and when the music comes on, you really have to concentrate on what the others at the table are saying. Service is super nice :)

Essen, Service und Ambiente waren spitzenmäßig. Besonders das Essen möchte ich sehr positiv hervorheben. Leider wird keine Kartenzahlung akzeptiert, was ich heute nicht mehr zeitgemäß finde und was mich dazu bewegt, einen Stern abzuziehen.

Wir waren heute auf Empfehlung von Freunden im RoadHouse . Das Ambiente ist liebevoll chaotisch, die Bedienung super nett, freundlich und schnell. Wir hatten uns als Appetizer das GarlicBread, und als Hauptgerichte die heimliche (?) Spezialität des Hauses ( SpareRibs / 500g Version ) sowie das Ceasars Sandwich bestellt. Und alle Gerichte waren durch die Bank weg richtig, richtig lecker !!! Die hausgemachte BBQ Soße ( reichlich zu den butterzarten SpareRibs serviert ) ist ein kulinarisches Träumchen..... Die Preise sind ( der Qualität entsprechend ) fair und bodenständig. Rechtzeitige Reservierung wird dringend empfohlen, gerade Samstag Abends brummt der Laden aus o.g. Gründen heraus wie ein satter Bär.....😁 Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt, und kommen bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder vorbei. Grüße aus RLP !!!

Top Service mit sehr leckerem Essen. Vor allem die Sparen Ribs absolut empfehlenswert 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Auch das Ambiente schön abgestimmt und wirkt sehr gemütlich. Daher klar Empfehlung. Zu empfehlen ist allerdings auch, sich frühzeitig um eine Reservierung zu kümmern, da man sonst möglicherweise keinen Platz mehr bekommt.

Leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen in einer tollen, liebevoll dekorierten Location. Von Spare Ribs über Burger, Salat bis hin zum Eis als Nachtisch. Auf der Getränkeliste geht's hin bis zum Dosenbier. Ob zum Essen oder für ein Bierchen an der Theke. Ein toller Platz zum ausgehen.

Wir wären gerne schon früher im Roadhouse gewesen, aber kurzfristig ist es nahezu unmöglich ein Tisch reservieren zu können. Das Roadhouse ist extrem beliebt und somit immer gut besucht. Die Spareribs sind der absolute „Geheimtipp“. Die Burger sind ebenfalls lecker und auch für Vegetarier gibt genug Auswahl. Das Anbiete ist wie man es von einem amerikanischen Diner erwartet. Ein echt nettes American Diner. Ambiente ist sehr original, außerdem dominiert der rustikale Stil der guten, alten Zeit. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, in dem sich jung und alt gern aufhielten. Nach Anreise vorbei an Tönnies Schlachtfabrik entschied ich mich spontan für veggy - war auch lecker. Meine Begleitungen freuten sich über leckere Burger u Spareribs. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen.

War. Das. Schön. Mit dem Wohnmobil unterwegs, hatte uns abends die Müdigkeit von der A2 getrieben. Das Road House liegt direkt neben dem Stellplatz - ein Glücksfall. Das Road House war sehr gut besucht. Wir bekamen, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, sofort einen Sitzplatz. Dafür sorgte die Chefin ganz unkonventionell und sehr sehr freundlich. Überhaupt - das "sichtbare" Team war insgesamt klasse. Freundlich, aufmerksam, schnell. Das Team in der Küche sahen wir natürlich nicht, aber was von dort auf unseren Tisch kam. DAS war sensationell: *****. Wir hatten die Rippchen und das Rumpsteak. Das Road House in Rheda-Wiedenbrück bekommt unsere unbedingte Empfehlung.

Schönes Ambiente und das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen üppig. Wir hatten Burger und Rippchen. Das Servicepersonal ist auch wirklich toll. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen Abend.
