Rivazza Baden-Baden in Baden-Baden

I ordered a Pizza Salami and a beer. I paid 18.50€+tip. The pizza was large, and tasted good. Took 1 star off for using frozen dough (I overheard the service team mentioning they use frozen dough so they can’t bake it “lightly” as one customer requested).

The food was very good. I had a vegetarian pizza and my husband ordered a salad. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star from the salad because the salad dressing was too sweet for my taste. But the price and quality are 5 stars. Pizza came really quickly and it was actually very tasty. I will visit it again and recommend it.

Packaged tongs... Rubbery and not overcooked, raw materials not of excellent quality... high prices

Went there to eat pizza, pizza was okay! Service was okay, but all in all too expensive!! 2 normal pizzas, half a liter of house wine, a small amount of water 49.50 euros!! too much . We don't anymore, it's cheaper and better.

Everything perfect! Pizza was ready after 15 minutes. One should highlight the perfect service, the fair prices and the good sound of the music playing in the background! Everything absolutely perfect 👌

I recommend the gluten free pasta over the gluten free pizza. Any pasta variety can be made and the food is excellent. The chef does an excellent job with a separate area of the kitchen for preparation to avoid cross contamination. The best way to describe the service would be to say that they will eventually get around to you. They are definitely friendly. As we went during Fall, the front door remains open so it tends to be cold inside and the cigar/cigarette smoke filters in from outside. This really took away from the enjoyment of our meals.

Underground reception! I would be rudely reprimanded and thrown out because of a dripping umbrella... I've never experienced anything like that in my life.

The pizzas are 5 stars in terms of appearance and taste. The service was very bad. I had to shout the order for another wheat to the waiter, even though he saw that my glass was empty when the pizza was brought. He then simply placed the bottle on the table for me. After dinner the plates were cleared even though my wife was still chewing. We weren't even asked whether it was tasty or whether we had anything else we wanted. We would have liked to have had a cappuccino (which was available elsewhere). There were still tips... but it probably didn't matter because regular guests got the attention...

Unfortunately, the portion is far too small and, in my opinion, too expensive. The taste was absolutely okay but unfortunately not a highlight. We had ravioli and tortellini.

Delicious food, relaxed, family atmosphere. What more do you need!

The waiters are very helpful but they don't put air conditioning inside even if you pay for the electricity, it seemed unprofessional to me not to have that gesture when going with children and filling the place. We were quite hot

It’s not a gourmet place, but it has two advantages. First, the portions are really big, which is in line with the German tradition of hospitality. One portion of fried rice is basically enough for two children. The second advantage is that it’s so close to Kala. Kara Hot Spring is just a few steps away. Because hot spring bathing is not allowed on an empty stomach as it may lead to hypoglycemia, it is better to eat first before bathing. It is recommended for those who want to eat Chinese food.

Very taciturn service staff. The menu is an A2 sized laminated sheet. Food was good, unfortunately carbonara was only available with cream. Germanized. Price for this is a bit high, probably due to the location.

Restaurant qui se veut italien (menu rédigé dans la langue), mais personne ne parlé la langue. Nous avons choisi des plats de pâtes car la carte était relativement chère. Si les pâtes en elles même étaient très bonne, l'assaisonnement une arnaque? Linguine à la bolognaise sans réelle viande, penne au saumon: toujours à la recherche du saumon. Quant à l'eau... donc pas d'eau du robinet, ni même pour un chien. La bouteille minérale, uniquement, de 75cl, à 7,50€... hallucinant. Et que dire du serveur, sans aucune amabilité, qui ne sait pas compter une addition...

A glass of wine, a beer and a bottle of water: €18 of which €7.90 for a bottle of water. The waiter's treatment leaves a lot to be desired, rude to the customer. Not recommended.

Great restaurant in Baden Baden which offers gluten-free pasta, and even pizza depending on availability! I have few places to eat gluten-free pasta in restaurants in Alsace and I am happy to discover these gems on the other side of the border! For those with a sweet tooth, there are even gluten-free desserts!

So sorry I ordered a pizza 🍕 salami with crabs and garlic, unfortunately I got a pizza salami without taste with capers, where I didn't order any capers. Then I asked the waiter or boss and he was really unfriendly and told me we didn't have any crabs. And that I told them that I ordered capers. I really can't recommend it, people think about it carefully.

I don't recommend it and don't want to return. Terrible service and the food they gave me was microwaved. The Bolognese had a bad smell. It sat in the fridge for several days.

Wonderful restaurant. Great and calm atmosphere. There is super delicious pizza here. I particularly recommend: (vegetarian) Pizza Italia and as an aperitif an Aperol Spritz or a Primitivo. The antipasti is also great. In summer there are also nice sunny spots in front of the restaurant at lunchtime. Highly recommended! Very friendly service. I always enjoy coming here. Just good here.

Were only there around half past ten on a Saturday evening. We were still warmly welcomed and ate very tasty pizza.

The food was so salty. Not edible. Never again! The waiter also only asks for cash payment!

Pizza that reminds you of Napoli

I discovered this little Italian restaurant a stone's throw from the thermal baths. You are warmly welcomed. I let myself be guided by the good pizza, (homemade) and the service was fast. I had a pleasant time in this place with good ambient music.

We went to Rivazza Pizza e Cucina to see the football game between Germany and Spain. We took a buffalo pizza and a salad. At the end when we asked to pay with card the waitress put the amount into POS but her manager told her she needed to take us the money cash because he hear that we speak Romanian. As we didn't have cash they told us to go to an ATM to withdraw money and pay cash This was the worst experience ever in a German restaurant!!!

We liked the pizza and salad so much on Thursday that we ate there again on Saturday. I was in Baden-Baden for rehab and unfortunately my place of residence is 85 km away. If it weren't so far I would certainly be a regular guest. You can sit outside wonderfully and the boss and his employees are very friendly and always try to make sure everyone is doing well.....just great 👍

Food isn't anything special. Ambiance is nice. Service a disaster? The employees don't feel like it (or so it seems). Sitting on the “area” with their cell phones and chatting. As a result, one or two drinks were not ordered at our table. Kind regards.

We came with a children's birthday party (8 children & 2 adults) and ordered pizza & pasta to go for everyone. Since the pasta was ready early, some children sat down briefly at the free table right next to the street vendor. The boss immediately came running and shouted at the children and even simply pulled the chair away! I understand that the table is for à la carte guests, but there is no sign and you can talk to children normally and explain it to them! My husband pointed this out to the boss and he immediately became cheeky: “What do you want?!” This store will never see us again! It's sad and shameful how the customers (the future) are treated here!

The restaurant was only half full, but still very loud due to the background music and noise from the employees. The food was ok. The place didn't invite us to linger.

Les pizzas sont bonnes et les pâtes bien préparées. Par contre aucune sympathie… même pas un sourire. Ça ne nous a pas donné envie de prolonger notre expérience en prenant un dessert, et je peux vous dire que ça n’a rien arrangé pour le sourire, bien au contraire… Même pas un au revoir ou un merci à notre départ. Nous n’y retournerons pas.

There is a great thin pizza here. The service is good and happy to answer questions. If you sit outside, you have a beautiful view of the alleys of the pedestrian zone.

Pizza tastes super delicious. The service was really nice and warm. The only thing I personally didn't like was the tables because they were too close together.

We each had a pizza. There was also very good wine. Large selection of pizza, pasta, carne and salad. The dolci also looked very good. We found the price/performance to be good and were therefore very satisfied.

I suffered food poisoning from the cream used for the truffle pasta. I was violently ill for over 24hrs and had to change my travel plans because of it. Obviously it had been left out too long to form bacteria or expired because I haven’t experienced such bad food poisoning in years (and I travel internationally and eat out all the time). The service also left much to be desired. I hate being sick on vacation and this restaurant ruined the final days of it.

Very tasty food! The pizza was incredibly delicious! But also a bit expensive depending on which one! The service was super quick, but a bit unsatisfactory towards the end, so of course we wanted to occupy the table again as quickly as possible.

I've had a lot of amazing NY style thin crust pizza in my life and also make my own in my back yard wood fired oven and consider myself a bit of a pizza snob. I didn't really have any expectations as I just stopped in to eat cold. But dang!! Their pizza blew my doors off. It was nearly perfect. The crust was lightly blackened like it's supposed to be, but of course still so soft and chewy in the middle. The toppings were perfect and contributed to the crust as the star of the show. I got the diavolo and the meat was delicious with just a yhe right amount of heat. I didn't dare assume that the tiramisu would meet the same standard, and it didn't. In fact, it actually EXCEEDED my expectations and may actually be the best turamisu I've ever had. And I've had a lot, including all over Italy. It was beautiful presented, and was so light and fluffy and full of beautiful texture and flavor. I was truly astounded, nearly speechless. GREAT JOB RIVAZZA. I can't wait to return.

Hatte einen Thunfischsalat bestellt. Er schmeckte mir sehr gut, eine große Portion. Der Preis meiner Meinung nach ist etwas zu hoch (15,50€). Der Service war schnell.

4 Mitarbeiter am Telefon im Internet, nette Musik und niemand konnte mir ein Negroni ausschenken. Bar wäre, mit viel Alkohol-Varianten um feine Cocktails zu mixen, gut bestückt. Bier war auch gut. Wollte eigentlich ein Bier. Jetzt hab ich den Beitrag nochmals bearbeitet: Sagten kein Danke und kein Tschüss. Gibt einen Stern weniger. Unfreundlich. Tut mir leid das wir als Gast bei euch waren und ihr Arbeit hattet. Sorry. Kommt nicht mehr vor. Keine Angst.

Pas une dinguerie non plus mais ça fait l'affaire. Une bonne pizza margherita avec des champignons était passable. En revanche l'accueil était cool et on a été servi rapidement !

Ordered the Lasagna and Ravioli, Lasagna Bolognese was very good, Ravioli was disappointing. We found it to be quite pricey for 2 basic pasta dishes with zero sides as salads and bread are priced separately. No garlic bread, toasted pizza dough plain and unappetizing no olive oil on table either. Not a good value compared to others close by. Cannot recommend.

Best Arrabiata in my whole life.

Food was very salty and when waiter was told he said this is normal. Lasagne had peas as ingredient, not what I would expect from an Italian Restaurant, but I have not been to the south of Italy. Wine was great though. Would not recommend to visit. Pizza at the the table next to us looked great though.

Enjoyed a delicious ham and cheese pizza here one evening. It was nice sitting at one of their outdoor tables watching the world go by. The pizza was better than expected - thin, crispy, good quality toppings. Service was efficient but should have offered us chilli oil and pepper.

Ich war mit einem Kollege, wir hatten Tomatensuppe, Tomate Mozzarella, Pasta mit Trüffel und Pizza Parmaschinken mit Rucola. Die Zutaten sind hochwertig, Geschmack top. Ich hatte seit langem keine bessere Pizza. Keine lange Wartezeit, guter Service, Preis geht für Baden Baden in Ordnung.

Fast service for to-go order. Pizza was very low quality for the price. Ordered quattro formaggio; looked and tasted like a standard cheese pizza. Tomato sauce base, no chunks of mozzarella, crust was limp.
