The bruschetta was the best I've ever had. The pizza was also very good—I had the chicken curry pizza. The tiramisu was also delicious. The decor was inviting, and the service was quick and friendly.

A highly recommended restaurant! The ambiance is stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail, making you feel at home immediately. The food was outstanding: authentic, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. The strozzapreti, which I chose, was a real highlight – highly recommended! The entire staff was extremely attentive and warm – from the moment we greeted them to the moment we left, we felt well looked after and welcomed. You can tell that hospitality is truly a priority here. Thank you – we'll definitely be back!

The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and very quick. If there were more stars, I would give more. There was nothing to complain about. Very friendly. But it's best to pre-order. We were lucky that something was available.

The pizza was amazing, and the staff at pickup were really nice. But: I ordered a pizza without salami and got it with salami. Prices don't match the menus listed on Tripadvisor and other sites. Otherwise, I recommend it.

We went to Riva in Amberg with four children. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for our food – it was a real test of patience for both the children and us. It's a shame, because the food itself was really delicious and of good quality. However, the long wait definitely spoiled the evening.

I'd happily give it 10 stars. 😊 I always really, really enjoy being there. The team is fantastic, the food is excellent. I love it 😍 They still place a lot of emphasis on quality here. If you ask the staff about the ingredients, you'll know what's being made with love. I'd love to move in there, but I'm afraid I'd get really fat really quickly. 😂 There are plenty of parking spaces at the fairgrounds, and it doesn't hurt anyone to walk a few meters. Especially after a visit 😁 I recently went to a small Italian restaurant on Lake Garda. Hidden away and not a tourist spot. When I bit into the pizza at Riva, I felt like I was back there. Super authentic cuisine. 😊 I'm getting hungry again just writing this. 😅 All around, more than satisfied and, in my opinion, the BEST Italian restaurant for miles around. 😍 Love you 😘🫶🏼

I ordered an Italian salad yesterday and had it delivered to work. The wait time was initially 20 to 40 minutes. In the end, I waited an hour and a half for the food. The salad was warm, no longer fresh, and inedible. The dressing tasted sour, and the tuna was also sour. I had to throw the salad away after four spoonfuls. I also felt sick afterwards. The price was €10. Absolutely not recommended!

A great restaurant. We were warmly welcomed with our dog. Not only the waiter, but also the other guests were super friendly, and it was easy to strike up a conversation if you wanted to. The spritzers are freshly prepared and lovingly decorated. The pizza and lasagna were plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

We picked up several pizzas. Unfortunately, they were very dry. The spinach on the Riva pizza had a strange taste (frozen?). Additionally, the ingredients had changed, so I received prawns instead of salmon. The Palermo pizza was also tasteless. The salad size for the price is very small compared to competitors. We were disappointed and negatively surprised by the prices. There are some outdated menus online, some of them on their own website. Here, some pizzas have become €8 more expensive. However, for just under €20, I expect a pizza that tastes like it does in Italy. This wasn't the case. At some competitors, it tastes significantly better (even when the pizza is cold) and costs almost half. The quality is also significantly better.

The service deserves 10 points! Super friendly and accommodating. My little daughter spilled her juice and was immediately given a new one, which wasn't charged. My meal took a little longer, but that's okay, it was very good. The wait was worth it :) Nevertheless, they insisted on treating me and gave me an espresso on the house. We were very satisfied with everything. The staff deserves special recognition!

The wrong place for a 'small' appetite 🤣😂🤣 They have fantastically large pizzas here 🍕, the dough is simply a dream, light, crispy, and still smooth. 😋 The salad was also beautifully presented, unfortunately with onions, which we had specifically requested not to include when placing our order. A point deducted for service for that. The ambiance is so-so and parking is really scarce, but we came for the food, and for that, we get 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I certainly won't be the last time I'm here 😁 Best regards, Franky🤙

Best Italian and Pizza restaurant I have been to in the past 5 years. The staff are really friendly, they have rotating weekly special menu on top of their regular menu. The specials are always amazing, I can't get the chance to order from the regular menu because they make such mouthwatering specials. If you haven't eaten here, you are just providing a diservice to yourself....this is the BEST PIZZA AND ITALIAN FOOD 😋 you MUST eat here.

Ordered everything vegan, you asked for vegan cheese melt on your pizza. This wasn't available that day so I switched to pizza bread. Pizza bread came, of course, garnished with Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately, Parmesan isn't even vegetarian. I ate the pizza bread anyway because I didn't want to throw it away. I assumed that it would be self-evident that the pizza bread would also be vegan. I'll note it again next time. Otherwise everything is good. :)

We went for a family dinner at Christmas time. We enjoyed the food and the staff were nice and friendly. It took a while because the restaurant was full. Dishes freshly prepared and delicious. Ambiance is good, parking spaces right next to it. The music in the background didn't bother us. We had a great time and would love to come back.

For me this is the best Italian restaurant in the whole area. Every time I eat there I feel like I'm in heaven, it's incredibly delicious there. The staff is very friendly and fulfills your every wish. The prices have gone up quite a bit, but who doesn't have that these days. But you get decent quality for the price. Absolute recommendation!

Back to the roots! Went there again today. Despite warning that it could take “longer”, everything was great. Received 6 meals almost at the same time, everything was very tasty, service was again top and the dessert (not on the menu, ask!) was also outstanding. That's how it should be, until next Friday 😅

The pizza here is 10/10. The rest of the table also thought the salad and pasta were very good. The pizza stood out for me though. Unique, interesting and even somewhat daring variations are offered in advance. You don't have to reorder. Nice area to sit, relaxed young staff. Very strong!

When ordering, we were told that we had to pre-order the gluten-free pizza... but that wasn't on the internet or on the menu in the restaurant. It's a shame because we went there specifically because of the gluten-free pizza. Also gluten-free pasta. But you could always have them in stock... Two of our group, who cannot tolerate gluten, then had to eat a salad that was very overpriced and had a dressing that was far too acidic. The third ordered a burger without a bun, but asked for some salad instead. The result was a meat patty with a slice of cheese and two leaves of lettuce on top and bottom as a bun substitute... for €20. But the normal pizza was very tasty! We were served by Mert. He was great!

It's been a long time since we've had dinner there and I have to say that I can no longer understand all the good reviews. Price extremely overpriced (pizza almost 20 euros, glass of Lambrusco 9 euros), quality only average and long waiting times for service and then unfriendly. There are much better alternatives in Amberg. We won't go there again... Sorry,

It's been a long time since I've eaten in this pizzeria and I was more than disappointed. Very long waiting time, unfriendly conditions, prices were totally exorbitant and it didn't taste good at all. Conclusion I won't visit this restaurant again.

Today we were there again, the food was really good again. Even the dessert was really good. The rest of it, such as cleanliness and service, was again absolutely fine. The last time it took 20 minutes to pay, but now it's quicker and that's why it's now 5 stars. We would like to come again. PS A bit more expensive in price but top quality and that's why the price is completely okay

Basically - everything is fine. Pizzas cost around 12 euros. The waitresses are friendly - the type of pizzas are different and they taste good. 2 points deducted because I unfortunately paid 5 euros too much - the waitress should have noticed it quicker than I did since the food was rated... But I was too stupid to complain because the waitress had already left when I paid for it I counted the food again... Update 2024 Change of recession to 5 stars - sodala We were here again - the pizzas, like everything, have become more expensive, now 14.xx euros - but the pizzas taste really good and are really something different than the run-of-the-mill standard that you get on every corner. For me, Riva is one of the 2 best pizzerias in Amberg!

Our attempt today to make sales with and for the innkeeper unfortunately failed due to the arrogance of the staff: “We only have two free tables for four and one is already reserved” And give the other one free? Yes, that wouldn't work at all, maybe four more people could come and there would only be two of us... You can hardly be more arrogant towards potential guests! Then you will soon feel the same as your predecessors: Closed due to wealth and arrogance...

The best Italian in Amberg. Everything is just right here. The food was delicious and the service was really friendly and accommodating. The all-round glazing provides a great, open view and you immediately feel at home. Portions are reasonable, the prices are completely reasonable and the food came quite quickly.

I can only recommend the pizzeria to anyone who wants to eat gluten-free! If you order in advance, you can get delicious gluten-free pizza and pasta. :-) The owners and staff are also super friendly and very accommodating! We would be happy to come back at any time.

We went to Pizzeria Riva as a family and everyone loved it. We all thought the food was delicious. We had pizza, pasta, salads and mussels. Everything was attractively arranged. Great importance is attached to even the little things here. The service was great. Very attentive without being intrusive, I think that's great! Great food and drink selection! We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant 100%!

Durchweg bekommt man gutes Essen vom Salat, Pizza, Burger bis hin zur Nachspeise. Mein Favorit ist der Burger und die Pizza vitello tonatto. Aber nicht nur das Essen ist super, das Personal ist immer freundlich und bemüht den Gast alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Und die/der Besitzer immer gut gelaunt, freundlich, herzlich und jeder Gast ist ihn(en) wichtig. Und sie packen auch mit an, egal ob beim bedienen, in der Küche oder hinter der Theke. Im Riva wird gemeinsam gearbeitet und das merkt man im Service am Gast. Im Sommer lädt die Terrasse zu gemütlichen Abenden ein. Wir sind gerne hier und werden auch zukünftig im Riva Essen gehen. Egal ob nur zu zweit oder mit Freunden, es lohnt sich einfach.

Riva is a great local pizzeria with excellent potions for food and drink. The pizza portions range from typical Italian fare to a few more exotic options that are delicious. The inside can feel a bit crowded or loud at times in the colder months, but there is still space between each table to have private conversations and enjoy company. The service is great with friendly workers that strive to make your experience pleasant, even if a little slow on busy days. Overall, my favorite pizzeria in Amberg for the options, good, atmosphere, and service.

Tolle Pizza und gute Nudeln. Am Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Der Service ist jedoch kategorisch unterbesetzt. Eine sinnvolle Tischplanung sowie eine gute Organisation sind die größten Kritikpunkte. Wenn man Zeit hat und nicht auf die richtige Reihenfolge der bestellten Speisen angewiesen ist oder auf Getränke verzichten kann weil diese mehrfach vergessen werden der kann hier sehr gutes Essen genießen. Kritik am Service wird nicht angenommen und darauf bockig reagiert. Das fehlende Personal gibt es leider überall. Der Besitzer hat auch kein Interesse im Service zu unterstützen oder sich zumindest der Kritik anzunehmen und verbringt als sein bester Kunde den Abend auf der Terasse Sitzend mit Kaffee Wein und Zigaretten. Aber wie gesagt das Essen ist top, wenn einen der Rest nicht stört und man Erwartungsfrei an Service und Inhaber ist eine gute Adresse.
