I can only speak for the breakfast buffet. It's very well-stocked, and there should be something for everyone. The food tastes good and there's always plenty. The waiters are very friendly. My only criticism: I noticed several times that the seats and then the tables were wiped with the same cloth. They need more training on this. Otherwise, everything was great.

The service staff is friendly and attentive. The term "fast food" only applies to the speed of preparation. We had barely ordered when the waiter arrived with the food. Whether steak, pizza, or pasta, everything is available at a reasonable price. The portions are generous. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. We'd be happy to come back; we still have a few dishes to try. 😉 Thanks to the direct connection to the Jute Center, there's plenty of parking.

This Riva Restaurant in Delmenhorst seems to be the go-to place in town. It has a cool, relaxed atmosphere, and the waitresses are always really nice. The food always arrives quickly and tastes pretty good! When I asked, they said the meat isn't halal, but they have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which I think is great! You'll definitely find something! We tried the pizza, and it was really delicious. The dough isn't very thin, but it's not very thick either. I wanted to tell you, it's just right. There's plenty of toppings, and it tastes absolutely delicious. We actually quite like coming here. Firstly, there's nowhere else in town, and secondly, the atmosphere is really good.

I've always loved eating at Riva – great atmosphere, good food, friendly service. However, during my last reservation for a bachelor party, a situation arose that I found incomprehensible. I had explicitly stated online that we didn't want to sit in the smoking area. However, on arrival, we were assigned a table in the smoking area – with the explanation that I had said otherwise over the phone. This isn't true: My call was merely to inform them that we would be arriving a little later. After a brief discussion, they improvised: The staff – including the owner – carried tables and chairs to the front area, for which I am generally grateful. However, I found the communication unnecessarily strained. The owner's comment, "It's getting tight now," while seating us between existing tables, struck me as more annoyed than solution-oriented. We still had a lovely evening, but the way the situation was handled left a negative impression on me. It's a shame, because I've always been enthusiastic about it. I hope future misunderstandings will be resolved in a more open and customer-oriented manner.

I went for coffee with friends. The staff was rude. One of my friends looked at my butt and cleavage. I won't go there again. I don't recommend it.

Riva is always a place to go, whether it's for a coffee at lunchtime or a drink or two or three at the movies... The staff are great, always smiling, always nice, and extremely friendly. I went there often before the coronavirus pandemic, and the "pub crawl" was always great. I'll definitely be going back to Riva more regularly. Until then.

During the week, this place is quiet enough for any kind of gathering. On weekends, it's more of a party spot.

I recently visited the Riva Café with a group of six people and came away with a largely positive impression. The breakfast buffet selection was excellent – ​​varied and creatively presented – and the service was also impressive, with extremely friendly and attentive staff. I found the prices to be fair, which makes the value for money very attractive. The only downside was the seating. Our table was so cramped that if the third person in the group wanted to get a coffee, two people would actually have to get up to make room. There's definitely room for improvement in this regard, especially for larger groups. One positive aspect is the uncomplicated online reservation, which was completed in just a few clicks. Another criticism concerns the location: Although centrally located, the location on the main street and right next to the train station seems rather unattractive. For a more relaxed atmosphere, I would have preferred a quieter setting. In summary, the Riva Café offers a great selection, excellent service, and fair prices, but visitors should be prepared for limited seating and the unfavorable location dynamics.

The good things first: the weather was nice and the service was very nice. The bowling beforehand was okay even though I lost. Sometimes you lose, sometimes the others win. It's the same with the choice of restaurant. The atmosphere suffered greatly from the presence of Nazis who openly wore merchandise from a right-wing extremist band. The food was quite disappointing, the pizza tasted frozen, dry and soggy at the same time. The bun of the burger was a bit dry, the patty was more than well done and also reminded me of frozen. What was cheeky was that they charged 60 cents extra for mayo/ketchup, even though it wasn't on the menu. The extremely small vegan selection was further limited by the fact that dishes contained Parmesan, which isn't even vegetarian. Apart from the service, there really isn't much positive to be found :(

Today we went to Riva for brunch. Even though it is Easter, our regular restaurant was busier than on a usual Sunday. The atmosphere is great and makes you feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and promptly fulfills the guests' wishes. The food was continuously refilled! See you next time

The Riva impresses with a successful mix of a cozy atmosphere, good cuisine and stylish furnishings. A visit on Werder Bremen match days is particularly recommended - there is a real fan atmosphere without it being unpleasantly loud. The food is consistently delicious and freshly prepared, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a location in Delmenhorst to enjoy and watch football, Riva is the perfect place for you. Also recommended is the delicious steak with very tasty side dishes. Overall, the restaurant makes a very good impression.

Very friendly staff, decent service. We were there with several people. The food was divided into two groups and brought to the table later. I had a burger that was presented deliciously, unfortunately I have to say that the meat was pressed together so tightly that it wasn't loose at all. All of the meat juice was gone. Unfortunately it died again. It was more than fried. Then it was heavy in my stomach. Unfortunately, the fries arrived at the table more or less cold. The food at my colleagues looked delicious and it was. A colleague had a salad, a schnitzel, pizza, etc. That's why I gave the meal 3 stars because my colleagues' food was tasty. So you might want to practice frying burgers again. ;-) The drink, a non-alcoholic cocktail, was delicious. The atmosphere as such is cozy and clean.

The first day the food was great, but the second day I had spaghetti aglio et olio. It wasn't listed as chili, so I was surprised to find it in the food. I don't tolerate spicy food very well. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the service was prompt.

Mediocre food with friendly but slow service. At coffee time there was a chocolate cake with a liquid chocolate center and hot white chocolate. The cake was really chocolaty and beautifully prepared with two different sauces, cream, a few fruits and a dollop of red jelly and met expectations. I can't say whether it was homemade or came from a jar. The pizza that I later ordered was certainly not homemade, but a ready-made blank that was (at least) topped with rocket, smoked ham and parmesan. The pizza was edible, but the dough had more of a frozen character... If you write pizza on your menu, you should also be able to make the dough fresh or, alternatively, reduce your menu a little. Our waiter was very friendly, although we would have ordered another drink if he had been more attentive to the service.

Wieder einmal waren meine Familie (4 Pers.) und ich zu Gast im Riva, diesmal zu einem ausgiebigen Sonntags-Brunch. Und ich muss sagen, wir wurden wiederum nicht enttäuscht. Das Buffet war abermals sehr ausgiebig und ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen. Wir gehen häufiger aus. Aber was das Riva bietet, auch an Frühstücks-Büfetts, die wir gelegentlich besuchen, ist für Delmenhorst und Umgebung einfach nur Spitze und einmalig. Das hört sich zwar alles etwas euphorisch an, entspricht aber der erlebten Realität und wir nehmen für uns in Anspruch, durchaus auch zu einer sachgerechten Kritik, wenn nötig, fähig zu sein.

I ordered a cocktail and it only tasted like alcohol, so it was really undrinkable. Then I asked the waitress if I could get a new one because I can't drink it, then she said no, that's not possible because otherwise they would make a loss and I would can only place one more order... Sorry but you'd rather lose paying customers instead of bringing me a new one? Last time I was there, thank you I can only recommend Market 1, you even get free shots at the end of the evening!

The service was extremely courteous, very quick and super friendly. They made sure we felt completely comfortable. The restaurant itself is very clean and offers a great ambience. We can only warmly recommend Riva and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I had a wonderful evening at Riva. The food was simply delicious – especially the #212 Salmon Fillet Hollandaise, which was seasoned to perfection. The service was outstanding; the staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambience was cozy and inviting, which made the evening even more enjoyable. We were there for the buffet breakfast on a Saturday. It's okay if you can be satisfied with the standard breakfast. The service was quite unfriendly to us and we didn't hear the word please. Example when clearing up in between: Give the plate... Cold drinks such as water or juice are not included in the price and must be paid for separately. It was also full, which makes me happy for the owner, but it was also incredibly loud so that you could only talk to the people sitting next to you.

I can't say anything about the food because I only went there to drink with my group. We just wanted to end the evening, but the 5 euro fee for card payments was crazy. I almost spent 10 euros on my coffee. That was the first but also last time I was there. Sorry, but that's not possible in the digital world where you can pay with a card. Otherwise the ladies in service were very nice but the prices were okay. You have to decide whether you want to spend that much or whether you would rather spend the money somewhere else. I'm out of there

So we were there for breakfast 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine there. Only the boss <we were told her name is Na.> is terrible. She screamed at her staff that they were stupid and weren't doing their jobs and she went completely crazy. We were totally outraged by such behavior. Like a fury. An absolute no go. The girls really tried hard to provide service. Then we were there for Christmas lunch at lunchtime. There was Buffett. To be honest, it's a total disaster. Food was no longer hot, you had to wait for supplies, and a lot of things were totally over salted. Dessert was very small and the same as breakfast. All in all very bad. Not again at Christmas.

We were here for the first time today and we were all very satisfied. There was a small but good vegan selection, there was also something delicious for the children and the service staff were super nice and accommodating. Hardly any waiting time for food and drinks on a Friday evening, which was great. There was even a sparkler for our birthday children. And we also got our forgotten pacifier. So all in all we were very pleased and would definitely come back next time we are in the area. Thank you very much for the lovely evening!

Habe mir dort einen Chili Cheeseburger bestellt, der auch zügig serviert wurde. Leider hat er mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Der Burgerpatty 🍔 war so gepresst und zäh als wäre er aus Leder hergestellt. Nachdem ich die freundliche Kellnerin darauf angesprochen hatte, meinte sie, dass ich nicht der erste Gast wäre, der sich beschwert hätte. Seit ein paar Tagen würde anderes neues Fleisch im Burger verwendet. Entgegen gekommen mit dem Preis von stolzen 15,50 € ist man mir aber nicht 🤷🏻‍♀️. Die Pommes waren gut! War nicht das erste Mal im „Riva“ essen, dafür aber jetzt das letzte Mal.
