Nice atmosphere and very tasty food

We were here for the first time today, on a Monday when many restaurants are usually closed So the pizza was amazing! There was no standard pizza as we usually know it, but it was very large and had delicious toppings. The best dough we've eaten in a long time. The service is very friendly, the food comes quickly and the service is good. Big compliment! We'd love to come back!

I've always enjoyed eating here - often with the whole family - because there aren't too many restaurants that offer this for people with celiac disease. You have to order the gluten-free pizza in advance and so far it's always been worth it - super delicious! Yesterday, however, I was served a kind of mini pizza, which I then got after my side salad, which was also very small. I asked and the waitress said this was the new size of gluten free pizzas. I would then only have to pay for a small pizza (which would have a diameter of 28 cm, mine was maybe 20) plus a 3 euro surcharge for gluten-free - which then came to 12.10 euros. I didn't care about the price, but I was hungry! Of course, I couldn't eat the pizza rolls and olives that my friends had previously had and there wasn't a gluten-free version. In the end I went home hungry, so I made myself something to eat and unfortunately I have to say: one less restaurant that I can visit.

Super nice atmosphere in the inner courtyard with great weather. The burrata was sensational. The pizza was good too. Service was super quick and very friendly. Gladly again.

Always worth a visit. Delicious food, a good selection of food and drinks and nice service staff. Every now and then there is a starter buffet that you can help yourself to free of charge in addition to your order. Seating is available both inside and outside (covered). Riva also has a busy ice cream parlor at the same location with lots of delicacies to take away. The toilet is in the yard. There is free parking on the nearby banks of the Main, about 2 minutes from Riva.

Today we tested the ice cream parlor in the backyard and had two iced coffees in the cozy courtyard. We are very satisfied and will certainly come back. The iced coffee was very good with plenty of ice, delicious coffee and a generous portion of cream on top. The service was friendly and quick, the courtyard was cozy with comfortable cushions on the chairs. Absolute recommendation from us. 👍

We had a very tasty pizza "Ciao" and a great porcini mushroom (lots of porcini mushrooms!) risotto. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday with around 15 people in the Riva am Main restaurant and had budgeted for a turnover of around 300 euros. However, the boss personally made an unprofessional and derogatory comment by saying he was not welfare and couldn't reserve 15 spots on a Saturday for so little turnover. I found this statement to be inappropriate. I ended up celebrating my birthday at another restaurant where we were all full, happy and content. If you don't want to accept my money, I'm happy to forego it. I will avoid the Riva am Main restaurant in the future.

The food always tastes very good and the service is polite, except for the lady at the ice cream stand. I've gotten ice cream from here several times and she's always totally unfriendly and creepy... it's a shame... The boss and the service are very friendly, though!

The pizza tastes good. However, the 28cm pizza was very small, this was only 25cm tall!!! I think this is cheating on the customer!! Since a 28cm diameter pizza cannot fit into the pizza box, I assume it was intentional and not an accident. As you can read from another recession, I am not an isolated case. No, thank you, I will no longer come to you or order.

One thing in advance. I can't rate the service on site as I order home. I've been thinking about it for a while and the last few orders have led me to write something. Over the last few years this has been the pizzeria of choice. A little more expensive than average, but often excused by the high quality. Where others couldn't get the base right or offered lower-quality toppings (according to taste), the Pizzeria Riva has performed. My wife actually always orders calzones and I've gotten into the habit of ordering the salad with pizza bread. For our children we vary between pizza and carbonara (with cream). I increasingly prefer to cook in my private life and I find it hair-raising how unreliable either the quality or the "toppings" have become. Let's start with the carbonara. In Germany you can say that these are made from cream, bacon (fatty), nutmeg, salt, pepper and nice cheese (usually Parmesan). I'm not going to demand that you prepare everything fresh (freshly grate the spices and cheese or anything like that). It's a shame, however, that our children usually only get pasta with cream. Also, this dish comes with a tasteless ham. If you add ham, you have to play more with the other ingredients so that the dish develops aroma. If you have bacon, then it can be more subtle. We have now experienced it repeatedly that our children have asked for salt. I have now made it clear to my wife that I will no longer order this dish. About the calzone: there's not that much to say. Except that it varies in quality. Sometimes she is very good. However, it is also regularly over-salted or “mushy”. I also decided not to order the salad anymore. You get tomatoes, cucumbers, a small mozzarella ball and "green" salad. The dressing tastes okay. But what bothers me - one day this salad is with arugula, another day with, I think, romaine lettuce. Now I'm more of an advocate of beautiful arugula. And when I asked, a colleague confirmed to me that rocket was mainly used. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case recently. Since I don't like the "alternative" salad and don't know reliably what to expect, we will check more in the future whether we order there for the movie in the evening. This development is a real shame, as we were happy to recommend Pizzeria Riva to friends even if they were willing to pay a little more. I hope that people take this criticism as it is intended and, if necessary, act on it. Unfortunately it's no longer worth the money at the moment.

Great ingredients, great selection, good prices and friendly staff. The ice cream parlor at the back of the yard is always a highlight on my walk.

Actually quite good, but very cheeky, to sell a pizza with a diameter of approx. 28 cm as a 33 cm diameter. Honestly, your answer is a disgrace. I ordered large pizzas, didn't say anything about take-out and even commented that in my opinion it wasn't a large pizza! Also you charged for large pizzas. It's almost cheating when you write that I got small pizzas.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to eat in the restaurant with 10 adults and 7 children because the weather forecast called for rain and we didn't want to risk sitting down on the Main with pizza and pasta. I come from the catering industry myself and didn't have such high expectations for such a large group... But: the food was great, the waiting time was absolutely reasonable and the service was very attentive and understanding despite the many children. Thank you very much for ensuring that our afternoon did not come to an abrupt end thanks to your spontaneity. We'd love to come back.

Service is good, I have the feeling that food is just being processed during peak times. And the ice is not recommended because sometimes there is still frost on it.

We ordered side salad, pinsa and pasta with beef on our first visit here. There was an amuse gueule in the form of olives and delicious small pizza breads. The food was consistently very tasty and stood out from the dishes in a “normal” pizzeria. The tiramisu for dessert was a poem. The service staff was absolutely friendly, courteous and quick - we would be happy to come back!

As great as we once thought the pizzeria was, we have now been disappointed three times in a row. The pizza base isn't through, unfortunately it's all just a mess. My wife loves her pizza too.

Unfortunately only one star. If you want to go fishing here on the weekend, you should save yourself the trouble. Fresh fish is available on the website every weekend. We made a reservation and also asked on the phone whether you had to reserve the fish in advance. But they said no, there is enough fish ;) Ultimately, the boss personally said to his employee that there was always no fish. Very disappointing for customers who travel from further away to eat fish.

Easter Monday and want pizza? You may have to drive a bit. So we drove around the MTK and checked our familiar Italians, they were all closed. Thanks to Dr Google we came across Flörsheim and Riva am Main. A very cozy and familiar shop in a beautiful house. Only the banner on the outside wall spoils the view. Inviting from the outside in the dark, certainly a great outdoor area in the summer. The young service was very attentive and nice, the food was good, a small and manageable menu. The table decoration was reminiscent of Italy in the 80s, red and white checkered blanket, the cutlery in the tomato can, oil on the table. The attention up front was also nice, the pizza rolls were perfect. Now please introduce card payment, that will help a lot and you might end up ordering one more glass. We'll be back in the summer, I'm looking forward to the outdoor area and the great location almost directly on the Main.

Today Gnocchi con Zucca: gnocchi filled with a slightly sweet pumpkin cream with Gorgonzola sauce and bacon cubes. Wonderful contrast! Update: Shrimp or sea bream with Prosecco sauce. Extra class! Update Easter 2024: Best Calamares, Saltimbocca!

Ordered two pizzas at 5:55 p.m. I was told 35-40 minutes, still not there after an hour. I called and asked if she was still coming today. It was said that nothing had been done in 15 minutes. I canceled it. Then you should say in advance it will take an hour then you can adjust to it or not. That was the first and last time I ordered via delivery service. Word gets around like that.

Pizza arrived yesterday an hour later than promised, it was cold and inedible. I complained over the phone and the answer was: Unfortunately I can't do anything about it anymore. No apology!

We went for ice cream, enjoyed cappuccino and espresso and sat in the courtyard, feeling nostalgic. Everything was very tasty. Price performance ratio very good.

My buddy ordered two pizzas to be delivered and had to spell his name three times. Waited 1.5 hours, called several times. Pizza didn't come. Then he was accused of giving the neighbor a fake name, which makes no sense to me. It's not a big deal if something goes wrong, but you have to own up to it and not blame it on the customers. Then to say that we should pick up the pizza is pretty cheeky.

The food - sorry - was delicious!! Had pinsa with truffles - a poem. Also special to mention is probably homemade “garlic oil” 😉 Also the "Baileys Tiramisu" - a dream. I'm very happy about the tip and will definitely come back. YUMMY!

Very good experience for the first time dining there. We had spaghetti Arrabieta, spaghetti Puttanesca, pizza mozzarella, side salads, wine, orange juice, Coca-Cola, table water , Tiramisu and off course espresso. Very good attitude from the people there 👌 . We will go back again.

Das Essen war Mega lecker (hatte eine PINSA) und die Preise sind auch gut. Das Team war auch sehr nett. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall hier hin zu gehen. Am Wochenende aber auf jeden Fall mit Reservierung, sonst könnte man Pech haben

Dem Grunde nach nichts besonderes. Hatte Pizza und muss sagen, dass bis auf den Rand es leider ein sehr lappriges Etwas war. Schade, hatte ich besser in Erinnerung.

Sehr lecker! Ich hatte eine Tagliatelle quadro formagi sehr gut! Aber ich würde mir auch andere Pastagerichte mit Pesto auf der Menükarte wünschen. Die Karte, finde ich sehr Bescheiden gehalten, so dass auch ich meine Bestellung individuell zusammengestellt habe, was überhaupt kein problem war. Bedienung war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch!

Die Pizza ist gut, die Art und Weise wie die Lieferanten durch die dortige Spielstraße rasen unter aller Sau. Als Inhaber würde ich mir geeignetes Auslieferungspersonal suchen.

Die Pizza ist Klasse 🙂. Die Bedingung sehr Freundlich. Ambiente ok . 1 Stern abzug weil keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Ambiente im Außenbereich etwas schmuddelig. Besonders die Damentoilette. Innenbereich kann ich nicht beurteilen. Bedienung chaotisch aber nett. Das Essen hat geschmeckt. Brot dazu war alle. Hat alles etwas vernachlässigt auf mich gewirkt. Eis von der Eisdiele war ok.

Kaum zu glauben: Nach meiner letzten negativen Rezension hat man sich bei RIva tatsächlich die Mühe gemacht und Bestellung und Adresse rausgesucht. So fand ich gestern völlig überraschend im Briefkasten einen Umschlag mit einer Entschuldigung und einen Gutschein für die Lieferung. Absolut Klasse Reaktion, damit hätten wir nie gerechnet, find ich super. Leider muss ich meine Rezension vor einem Monat ergänzen. Die heutige Pizzalieferung war mal gar nix.. Der Basilkum auf der Pizza meiner Frau entpuppte sich als bissel Trockenkraut. Vom extra bestellten und bezahlten Knoblauch war nichts zu spüren. Meine selbst zusammengestelle Pizza u.a. mit Meeresfrüchten: Alle Zutaten auf einen Haufen geworfen, nicht mal verteilt. Viel zu scharf gebacken, Teig war oben komplett verbrannt, die Tomaten"sauce" war durch die Hitze eingetrocknet. Mit weitem Abstand die schlechteste Pizza seit langem. Glaub nicht, dass wir da noch mal bestellen, wenn die Qualität so schwankend ist. Meine Urspungsrezension: Wir waren im Riva schon essen und haben uns auch schon Pizza nach Hause liefern lassen. Pizzen sind wirklich gut und Lieferdienst klappt prima. Bemerkenswert auf den Pizzakartons die Beschreibung diverser Zutaten mit Herkunft. Ein gutes Gefühl, dass z.B. die Tomaten keine Billig-China-Ware sind, sondern Markentomaten aus Italiern. Das schmeckt man auch.

Waren zum Eis2Go Essen hier. Eis ist sehr lecker und die Kugeln sehr großzügig. Im Hof sitzen und essen möchte ich nicht, da sich die ganzen Eisesser (2Go)durch den Hof schlängen müssen um zur Theke zu kommen.

Am Samstag hatten wir das puren Vergnügen in der Pizzeria Riva am Main zu essen. Wir hatten nicht nur eine köstliche Pinsa, sondern auch das Glück, von einem netten Kellner bedient zu werden. Seine freundliche und aufmerksame Art machte unseren Besuch besonders angenehm. ☺️Er empfahl uns gute Gerichte, was mich vermuten lässt, dass er ein echter Kenner der italienischen Küche ist!! Die Pinsa war frisch und lecker, und sein toller Service rundete unser Erlebnis perfekt ab. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!👍🏻
