I really enjoyed my Pizza Giovanni today. The ambience suffers from the success of this restaurant because the tables are increasingly crowded. When the weather is good, you can enjoy Stromboli even better outside. Because of today's lunch: chicken Milanese on pumpkin gnocchi, I have to go back to ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ today (10.2024).

Great. We were there after the Pelikan Tintenturm open house. Actually we just wanted a coffee, but then we also decided on pizza/pasta. Service great. Very charming, very friendly, food very tasty and also well priced. Ambience is simple but good basic. Not so fancy and overloaded. All around - great. We liked it. 👍

The perfect mix of skilful hospitality and personal appreciation of the guest. Small but perfect wine list with specialties at very fair prices.

We stopped in for a dessert dish, it was an ice cream treat, we had some San Pellegrino to drink with it. This restaurant serves great Italian food and also has great desserts. The service is always friendly. The servers have all spoken English with us and suggest meals when we ask .

You are served coarse food here. Tomato soup was fine, but my hamster can cook the carbonara even better. Then I don't even want to start about the penguin who takes half an hour to bring some cheese or ashtray. Am I speaking Chinese or something? Nice place, not nice food and not good service.

The service was nice and attentive, the food came quickly and tasted fantastic (pizza prosciutto and pasta with beef strips and chanterelles). We found it to be reasonably priced and would happily recommend the Stromboli ✌🏻

The pizza and service were excellent!

My conclusion is very mixed. The starter (bread) was somehow a bit bland, but the waiting time for the food was quite short. The pizza was quite tasty and I would order it again. The chicken with the gnocchi was also tasty but just far too little. We paid around €48 including drinks for 2 pizzas and the chicken, which again is okay.

The service was top and very warm. The food was really delicious and the pizza was exactly how you would imagine it to be at an Italian restaurant. For food we had bruschetta, pizza burrata, pizza salami and a tiramisu. The price for drinks (wine, water and soft drink) was around €35 ​​per person. Which is okay so far, I think. We will come back in any case!

Five stars - no question! But ONLY because I also know the restaurant outside of the Christmas party... The following applies: wonderful selection of dishes made from very good basic products, superbly prepared! Service very experienced, fast and friendly. The Christmas party was a clear damper - sitting like sardines and the service was at times helpless... Maybe not pack the location so mercilessly? Making sales with all due respect but that must never come at the expense of quality...

Service and food deserve more than 5 stars. Would love to come back.

We were guests at Stromboli on a Monday evening. We had made a reservation shortly beforehand, which was good. Initially (approx. 18 :00) there wasn't much going on, but after a while the tastefully decorated, typically Italian restaurant filled up. The service was very friendly and initially very quick. However, when the restaurant filled up, we had to wait quite a long time for a waiter. But we were soon finished anyway and just waited for our bill, which we finally paid at the counter. All of the dishes we ordered tasted good. They just could have been a little hotter. The wine selection can also be described as good in Stromboli. The prices are still moderate. However, we didn't get the (free) grappa that was promised at the end. The troops at the large neighboring table were served. We weren't even said goodbye. A pity

We visited on Saturday evening. Very friendly welcome and courteous service, despite a full house and full terrace! Very tasty food!

A good Italian and somehow also original and rustic. I went there twice and found the food OK the first time and good the second time, although it would have been good a little hotter. The service was really nice. There is a deduction for the fact that the service decreases when there is a lot going on. After a larger group arrived and additional guests arrived, we no longer existed to serve. I only paid because I went to the counter and the promised nightcap was no longer available. Conclusion: good when there is little going on, difficult when the restaurant is full. How could it work with just one service person?

Family and good food, all Italian folklore

Very good Italian restaurant. The meal was excellent. There were four of us and we had 2x salmon on a bed of pasta for 22.50 euros each, a ham pizza and a salad for 14 euros. First of all, bread with aioli cream was served - very tasty. Panacotta is definitely recommended for dessert, not only visually beautiful when served. We were very satisfied overall. The service was attentive, friendly and quick.

Table 55 is mine, I almost feel at home here.

This was my third time in Stromboli. Not your average Italian. Friendly service. The food is above average. The prices are moderate. There is a reasonable selection of wines at a good price. Although all the window tables were and remained free, we were assigned a cat table at the entrance to the toilets. That was the only thing I didn't like. Otherwise everything is tip top.

Ristorante Stromboli now also in the Pelikanviertel, on the doorstep. An enrichment of the district. It is well received. Mussels today. Broth and mussels well seasoned. Portion served on a plate. Unfortunately the portion was too small and not sufficient. Pasta on the Parmesan loaf was not on the loaf, but on a plate, unfortunately not sufficiently heated. The price of €22.50 was too high for that. Visited again. Table for two people is relatively small for eating. Tables for 4 are kept free for 4 people. Service is not flexible.

Spontaneous visit this Friday evening with business friends. I had bruschetta with Parma ham (very well seasoned and seasoned, and really well presented) and spaghetti carbonara, which were among the best I've had so far (authentic with crispy pancetta on top). But: The restaurant has far too many seats and is therefore very noisy. You can hardly have a conversation. And the waiting times were far too long (starter came after 1.5 hours, main course only after another hour). My feeling: If you were to serve ⅓ fewer people at the same time, you could perhaps even make more sales because it would be quicker and the tables could be refilled more often. Because of the good cuisine, I will try it again on another day. But 3 hours for a simple meal shouldn't be the norm, especially since there's a lack of comfort.

Haben mit Pizza und Pasta angefangen, waren gut, so dass es auf der Speisekarte weitergehen wird, dann gibt es sicherlich auch den fünften Stern. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr gutes Essen. Leider ist der Service sehr langsam, zumindest an einem Montag Abend.

Das Personal war überwiegend freundlich, das Essen hat geschmeckt, die Größe der Portionen war gut. Schade, dass wir am Anfang über 15 Minuten da saßen, bis die Bestellung endlich aufgenommen wurde und am Ende, als die Teller der Hauptgerichte abgeräumt wurden dauert es noch volle 30 Minuten bis unsere Nachtische/Heißgetränke bestellt werden konnten und den Weg zu uns fanden. Einen weiteren Stern Abzug gibt es, weil genau das Gericht, was 6 von 9 Erwachsenen am Tisch gerne essen wollten gar nicht zu bekommen war.

Das Essen war nicht schlecht aber auch nicht herausragend. Was aber gar nicht geht ist der Service. Kein einziges Mal sind wir gefragt worden ob es noch etwas zu trinken sein dürfe. Wenn man dann irgendwie auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat und eine Bestellung aufgeben konnte war auch null Zuvorkommnis zu spüren ob z.B. jemand anderes am Tisch auch noch einen Wunsch habe. Das leere Glas wurde dann auch nicht wieder abgeräumt, und irgendwann waren die Kellner nur noch mit sich selbst beschäftigt, so dass man nicht mal mehr die Rechnung anfordern konnte. Stattdessen sind wir dann von draußen rein gegangen um zu bezahlen und mussten auch noch die Rechnung erklären, aber verwunderte Blicke haben wir geerntet dass es für diesen unterirdischen Service nicht auch noch Trinkgeld gab. Augenscheinliche Stammgäste am Nebentisch wurden zuvorkommend behandelt. Sorry, so nicht...
