Ristorante Scala in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald

Last night, we went to Scala in Hagen a.T.W. as a family and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic Italian/Neapolitan cuisine. The antipasti were delicious, fresh, and varied...a great start...the pizzas were heavenly 🍕simply delicious and highly recommended. The desserts are varied, so there's something for every taste: we enjoyed lemon sorbet and caffè affogato. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We felt completely at home. It's great that Scala is finally open again after its summer break—we've really missed it.

The food was – as always – delicious. Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't so great today. The owners' children were there, and they were very loud, and you could constantly hear a door slamming. Both of these things dampened the mood somewhat, as they simply disturbed a cozy dinner. Furthermore, the sparkling water bottle was already open when it arrived at the table and looked used, which, to me, is usually a sign that tap water was used. But, as I said, the service and food were impeccable!

Super Freundliches personal, sehr leckeres, nicht zu schweres und vor allem frisches essen. Gegenüber anderen italienischen restaurants, die ich besucht habe, merkt man, dass dies ein familienunternehmen ist. Wir sind ohne reservierung gekommen und haben auch nicht lange gewartet bis die bedienung kam, dann die getränke und kurz darauf das essen. Sehr Familienfreundlich und auch tolle atmosphäre und echt schöner standort. Preislich gibt es auch kaum unterschiede zu z.B. losteria aber von der Qualität her Welten. Würde und werde es 100% nochmal machen👍👍👍

The best pizza around here!!! We became aware of the restaurant through a friend's recommendation and have been eating pizza there regularly ever since. The pasta dishes are always very tasty. The bruschetta is also a dream on fresh homemade bread that is still warm. The service is always very nice and attentive and it's like a short trip to Italy 🇮🇹 We really enjoy being there and I’m looking forward to many more visits 🍕

Delicious pizza, mediocre pasta dishes. Not particularly good value for money. Service a bit lackluster. The cheapest paper napkins! You can't put them on the table when a pizza costs €15-€16. The wine by the glass isn't worthy of an Italian restaurant; it's better to order a bottle. The atmosphere is okay, but a bit dated.

Four of us were here on a Saturday evening. The pizza was really good and met the high expectations given the price. It's nice to support a family-run business, but you should also be considerate of your guests. At times it was so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation. Unfortunately, that spoils the experience. But in terms of taste, one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.

We ordered take-away food there via Lieferando. The pizza and pasta were very tasty. And fulfilled everything you could want from a Neapolitan. My Canneloni Spinaci were delicious, but also very watery, which probably couldn't be avoided since they use whole spinach (which I wouldn't declare as a minus point). The ingredients used are also classic Italian. All in all, good food at a reasonable price.

We had ordered home. Pizza, pasta and a schnitzel with fries. The delivery person was really nice, everything was fine. But the food was just ok. Pizza was very sparingly topped with a lot of dough, the fries didn't taste good at all, more like they were from yesterday. The pasta with Bolognese was ok, nothing special, but for an order value of around 55 euros I would have expected something different, a shame!

Meine Frau und ich waren am Valentinstag im Restaurant Scala essen. Das Lokal war brechend voll. Die Küche war sehr zu empfehlen. Der Koch eine jungen war einer der besten im Restaurant und konnte uns einen zauberhaften Abend bescheren. *Saltimbocca alla Romana*

We ordered food from “Ristorante Scala” and were simply thrilled! Despite a small misunderstanding about the salad, the team responded in an incredibly friendly and customer-oriented manner and even delivered us a new salad free of charge - that's service at the highest level. The salad dressing was absolutely heavenly, a real treat! We also had gnocchi, button pasta with tomatoes and tomato sauce and panna cotta - and every dish was an absolute highlight. The gnocchi was tender and delicious, the button pasta was perfectly al dente, with a wonderfully aromatic tomato sauce, and the panna cotta was to die for – creamy and to the point. Thank you for this great taste experience! We are already looking forward to the next order or perhaps a visit on site. Keep it up!

So visited the restaurant for the first time. Parking directly at the restaurant, perfect. Run by an Italian family. Had a recommendation from an Italian. Large menu, and this time with really great dishes. Outdoor seating is great! Very nicely decorated inside and with atmosphere. Internet reservation perfect. Very friendly service Italy flair. Prices are normally pleasant Cutlery in tasteful gray napkins. I'm completely satisfied and whenever I want to eat Italian food I go back to Hagen.

3 stars due to the ambience and nice staff. BUT... We waited 25 minutes for the drinks to come. After 50 minutes the Bruscetta starter arrived and it didn't blow our socks off. The food came after 65 minutes. I have to say that my pizza with corn, onions and, unfortunately, green peppers was great in terms of dough. Unfortunately the green peppers made the fresh pizza taste very bitter. Unfortunately the cannelloni was a failure because the two were swimming in sauce and one of them was no longer filled and the other was completely burnt and hard. But according to what you said, this wouldn't be calculated either. We were never asked whether it was good or tasty. But still the staff was very nice.

A carbonara in which the egg is frozen... impossible. Everything just tasted like pepper. Not a second time

Unfortunately there is no recommendation in the mixed calculation. The restaurant is initially noticeable because of its uncomfortable, outdated and loveless interior, so that there is no feel-good atmosphere at all. Unfortunately, the food overall wasn't outstanding either, apart from the pizza dough, which was really tasty. Unfortunately, my tagliatelle with salmon was quite the opposite. The rather watery and low-salt sauce was topped with stirred in parsley?? Why not fresh dill or spinach? This took the overall taste experience a long way from Italy. The mozzarella ball on the pizzas looks nice, but unfortunately it only tastes like the one from Lidl. I think the restaurant would have real potential with the pizza dough, but unfortunately I don't recommend it.

Here you get great authentic Italian food, always happy!

Super delicious Italian dishes 😋, we had bruschetta and amber squash as a starter, freshly made pasta 🍝 & saltimbocca as a main course, and as dessert, homemade tiramisu 😋 and nut ice cream with a liquid core, everything was very, very tasty 😋😋😋 we'll be back and try it too try the other delicacies of the Scala.,! Good Neapolitan pizza, pasta very simple but good. What was very disappointing was the starter platter for €35. 3 slices of bacon, 3 slices of ham, 3 slices of mortadella and 3 slices of salami. None of it is high quality. Even olives and two mozzarella balls couldn't get it out of the way. Please reconsider the concept. Otherwise nice, simple family restaurant with solid, Italian home cooking.

I live in Italy and I found myself at this facility for my niece's communion. I was a little skeptical but I didn't think I would find service equal to or even better than other Italian restaurants. Excellent service, family hospitality, traditional Neapolitan cuisine with that extra touch of passion for one's work. An experience that I will certainly carry in my baggage of beautiful memories

The interior design has not changed in the last 20 years despite different operators. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The staff is extremely hardworking and fit. We were there with 12 adults and 7 children. The different foods were rated differently. The pasta with salmon was too cold. The children's pizzas were totally rubbish, unfortunately my pasta was also rubbish and I usually know the consistency of the cream sauce to be creamier. Overall, the visit was unfortunately not that successful.

Simply the best Neapolitan pizza around! Anyone who knows about pizzas and appreciates good Neapolitan pizza has come to the right place. Casual, airy pizza with authentic Italian toppings. The service is warmly Italian, the atmosphere could be even more Italian. The outside terrace is very large.

Pizza is usually just wow delicious but this time I only ordered a salad for a whopping 9 euros. A mixed salad with tomatoes and olives. What I got was a loveless, expensive pile of iceberg lettuce with 4 very roughly chopped tomato pieces from one tomato and a few onions thrown underneath. Olives and other mixed items (which you can expect given the price and can also be found elsewhere) were hidden so well that I couldn't find them. I'm sorry, but you can't eat salad. That was very disappointing. Then it's better to take it off the card.

My friend and I recently ate here and were unfortunately rather disappointed. We ordered 2 starters (bruschetta and carpaccio), which were also served relatively quickly. The bruschetta was okay, the carpaccio unfortunately was just slices of ham. I would expect it differently from a real Italian. For the main course we both had the Carbonara, which is declared on the menu as “Real Italian Carbonara”. Accordingly, our expectations for this dish were very high. When the food was brought to the table it was a complete disappointment. The most important thing with a carbonara is that the egg yolk remains creamy and does not set. Unfortunately, we were served noodles with fried eggs. The taste was okay, but something like that shouldn't happen at a real Italian restaurant. I can make a better carbonara at home… what a shame! The service was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is quite busy and loud. We both always like to spend a little more money on good food, but here you can definitely save it...

Yeah, what can I say? THE 🍕 pizza was really good quality and, above all, tasty -- but: Despite explaining sensibly twice that ingredients should be changed, the mushrooms were still there. The salad, price/performance absolutely poor! You can't sit on the sagging chairs for long at all, so the fast service makes you want to leave the restaurant too quickly! It's a shame... that despite the really good pizza, the overall impression doesn't make you want to come back

Four of us were here for dinner. We paid around €77 for two pizzas, a portion of cannelloni and one tagliatelle with a drink each. The food was tasty, but the portions were quite small for the price. The atmosphere is rather rustic and older. The pizza plates were completely unsuitable for cutting. The service was shocking. After the last meal was served, none of the waitresses showed up. Our dog was tolerated.

Wir waren heute zu ersten mal im Scala. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und eine fantastische Küche. Die Zutaten sind frisch und echt italienisch. Preis/Leistung sind absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen garantiert wieder.

Bei der Auswahl unseres Restaurants habe wir uns von den Bewertungen leiten lassen und sind in der Gesamtheit doch enttäuscht. Zu den in den bisherigen Bewertungen gelobten Pizzas kann ich nichts sagen, jedoch waren unsere Nudelgerichte eher durchschnittlich. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen zügig, der Service war freundlich, hatte uns aber -gefühlt- im hinteren Raum etwas vergessen. Normalerweise fragt man hinsichtlich weiterer Getränkewünsche nach, auch ist der Wunsch nach der Rechnung beziehungsweise Nachfrage zu dieser nicht Aufgabe des Gastes, zumal die Pizzeria zu unserer Zeit recht wenig besucht war. Das Ambiente war für einen gemütlichen, ruhigeren Abend nicht geeignet. Fazit: Als "normale" Pizzeria okay, aber nach unserer Einschätzungen ist sie zumindest bei unserem Besuch nicht den sehr guten Beurteilungen gerecht geworden. Gleichwohl wünsche ich dem Familienbetrtieb alles Gute.

Siamo stati benissimo in questo ristorante! Il personale è caloroso e ci ha fatto sentire come a casa, la pizza napoletana era un capolavoro ricco di sapori e con ingredienti di alta qualita. Il cornicione è croccante e scioglievole quando la mordi. I condimenti sono freschi e di alta qualità, ogni boccone era un delizioso assaggio di perfezione. Se sei un amante della pizza e sei un italiano vero che ti manca casa,come me, questo ristorante napoletano è il posto giusti da visitare. Qualità prezzo è ottimo per il territorio tedesco, visto che ci sono altri ristoranti che vendono prodotti non di qualità anche a 20 euro. Continuate così ragazzi che siete i numeri uno!

Beste neapolitanische Pizza im Umkreis. Wer schon mal Pizza in Italien gegessen hat, weiss wie gut diese dort schmeckt. Die Pizza hier kommt der originalen aus Italien wirklich nahe. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch wirklich sehr nett. Das Ambiente in dem Restaurant ist zwar kein wirkliches Highlight aber es kommt ja eher auf das Essen an.

Wirklich eine hervorragende Pizza und Pasta. Wir hatten die Pizza Helena und Trüffelnudeln und beides hat super geschmeckt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schön urig. Viele kamen auch, um Essen abzuholen. Wir werden öfters kommen!

Immer wieder sehr gutes und sehr leckeres Essen. Nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Einzig die geräuschvolle Lüftung/Kühlung nervt auf der Terrasse schon etwas.

Einfach Lecker. Wir haben zwei Mal Pizza gegessen und war großartig. Pizza mit Pistazien Creme, Mortadella, Burrata und Basilikum zum Schluss noch ein Espresso der Marke Borbone.😋😋

Eines der besten Pizza Teige ever! So Stelle ich mir eine Pizza vor kross, fluffig, geschmackvoll, innen dünn, außen voluminöser weicher Rand und alles was drauf war, war sehr lecker. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung hat immer für das leibliche gefragt und das Kochteam hat es perfekt umgesetzt. Eine sehr schöne familiäre Atmosphäre mit viel italienischem Flair! Alle Produkte habe ich erfahren kommen aus Napoli und werden traditionelle verarbeitet, diese kann man auch sogar kaufen und mitnehmen! Hier werde ich noch mehr Gerichte testen und genießen! Hier liebe ich es immer wieder den außergewöhnlichen Pizzateig mit dem leckeren Rand zu essen.

Nette qualifizierte Service, leckere Pasta und flüfige Pizza, nur die Einrichtung sehr veraltet und ungemütlich, die Terrasse draußen wirkte auch nicht einladend und trotz schönem Wetter war zu.

Bello restaurante, fui a comer con mi novio y quedé impresionada con el sabor de la pizza, me sentí en Nápoles!

Ich war leider etwas enttäuscht von diesem Abend. Im Vergleich zum letzten Mal, wo ich eine sehr leckere Pizza gegessen habe, war nun der Salat etwas dürftig an guten Zutaten und nur im Preis gestiegen, nicht aber in der Qualität. Vor allem fand ich sehr schade, dass wir nicht darauf hingewiesen wurden, dass das Restaurant schließen wollte. Sonst hätten wir noch eine letzte Runde bestellt. So wurden wir quasi „ rausgeschmissen“ durch Nichtbeachtung, Jalousien runterlassen und Licht ausknipsen. Ein Hinweis „letzte Runde“ wäre besser gewesen. Und die Kommentare zu den anderen Rezessionen hier sind unter aller Kanone……

Mein Salat kostete 13,90 und enthielt überwiegend Eisbergsalat, billigste und nährstoffarmste... für das Geld erwarte ich eigentlich richtigen Salat. Niemand erwähnte was von Feierabend, würden gerne abrechnen etc, stattdessen wurden Jalousien runtergeknallt, unfreundlich beim bezahlen und während wir draußen noch saßen, Licht ausgeknipst... Es war ein Samstag Abend und 22:40 als das Licht aus ging. Auch wenn hier steht bis 22h geöffnet, was Niemand wusste, kann man doch freundlich zum Tisch kommen und sagen das sie bald schließen wollen, statt diese unfreundliche Art.

È stato come tornare nella bella Napoli, quella del calore familiare, della tradizione, e della "semplicità" e genuinità delle pietanze. Abbiamo mangiato uno spaghettone con la crema di pistacchi favolosa e i secondi di pesce erano freschi e succosi! Pasqualina e la sua famiglia sono davvero deliziosi e lavorano con anima e corpo. Super Essen zu top Preisen! Absolute Empfehlung!

Großartige Pizza, die beste im Umkreis von Osnabrück. Leider für uns viel zu weit weg, aber sollten wir wieder in der Nähe sein kommen wir bestimmt vorbei. Das Ambiente schreckt erst ein bisschen ab, aber Personal sehr sehr freundlich und das Essen einfach Top da ist das Ambiente wirklich Nebensache

Wir sind eher spontan bei einem Kurstrip bei Scala gelandet und haben dort die beste Pizza gegessen, die wir je hatten. Dünner, knuspriger Teig in der Mitte, locker luftiger Rand und mit frischen Zutaten belegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

An sich nicht schlecht aber das Pesto schmeckt wie vom Aldi und ich vermute, dass das Pesto gekauft ist obwohl es in der Karte als Hausgemacht beworben wird.

Beste italienische Pizza außerhalb Italiens. Tatsächlich sehr neapoletanisch.

Super lecker und super nette Bedienung

Das Interieur des Laden macht ehrlicher Weise nicht so viel her. Aber die italienische Gastfreundschaft und das qualitativ hochwertige essen werden uns sicher wieder kommen lassen. Schön das man für gutes Essen nicht zwingend in die Stadt fahren muss.

Ein super leckeres Essen Punkt die Pizzen sind hervorragend und suchen ehrlich gesagt seinesgleichen. Der Teig ist absolut angenehm und die unterschiedlichen Belege die wir probieren konnten (waren eine Gruppe waren alle hervorragend aufeinander abgestimmt abgeschmeckt und auch in der Konsistenz hervorragend. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr aufmerksam, sehr zuvorkommend und überaus freundlich. In keinster Weise aufdringlich somit eine sehr angenehme Gastfreundschaft. Einen herzlichen Dank für den schönen Abend in Ihrem Hause

Wir waren Silvester mit Reservierung im Restaurant Scala Essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und jederzeit aufmerksam. Das Essen war in Ordnung, teilweise etwas klein die Portionen, aber geschmeckt hat es allen. Das Mobiliar wirkt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man kann das Restaurant Scala jedoch empfehlen. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Deren Kinder werden im Gastraum beschäftigt.... Teils mit Handy, wo man laut die Videos oder Spiele hört. Dies gepaart mit der schräbbeligen Musik aus dem defekten Lautsprecher bringt kaum entspannte Stimmung. Essen war gut. Service auch, solange die Dame ihn allein gemacht hat. Als Kollegen zur "Unterstützung" kamen hatte leider keiner mehr Zeit für die Gäste.

Unglaublich weich und unglaublich fruchtig. Ich hatte die beste Zeit mit meinen Freunden. Ein Restaurant was einen nach bella italia entführt!

Questo ristorante merita una visita, sono stato di passaggio diretto perché ho parenti vicino Hagen. La pizza e i prodotti sono di alta qualità. Tutto era fresco è davvero si ha la sensazione di essere in un ristorante italiano. Un complimento speciale va alla chef Pasqualina per i suoi consigli e le sue scelte dal menu. Grazie di tutto
