Ristorante Rössle in Laupheim

Unfortunately, I had bad luck. Onion roast beef was offered as the daily special, but the meat wasn't very good. It was more like soup meat quality, and the fries had a rather strong fishy taste. I hope the kitchen was just having an off day.

The pizza was really good. A bit smaller than usual, but the quality was excellent. The service was very attentive. When the restaurant is full, the noise level can be high, so you have to speak a little louder yourself. Overall, our visit as a group of 13 was very positive.

Very nice restaurant with very good service

We visited Rössle for the first time and ate three different pizzas. They were outstandingly good, evidently due to the long dough preparation; someone knows their stuff. If I'd known how well the cooking was done here, I would have ordered the recommended osso bucco. We'll definitely be back!!! The ambiance was actually good, but the benches were a bit worn, and the lamps also need updating. Therefore, one star less for the ambiance. But that's more of a criticism of the owner—the restaurant is otherwise top-notch.

We ate very good pizza 🍕, and the Primitivo was especially good. To the landlords: some renovation and electrical work would be necessary.

We had a small company party at Ristorante Rössle in early July 2025, and everything went perfectly! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! I highly recommend it!

We eat there once a week. In my opinion, it's the best Italian restaurant in Laupheim. We got a table right away without a reservation, and there was hardly any waiting time for the food. The food tasted really good; the only criticism would be the size of the pizzas. I think the pizzas could be a bit bigger, but that's a long shot. All in all, the Rössle is a great pizzeria that I enjoy going to every time.

A few days ago, we were at the Rössle with roughly 30 people. We had made reservations in advance, of course, and discussed everything in person. Initially, the interaction was very friendly and relaxed. Unfortunately, on the day of the celebration, the greeting from one of the waiters was rather cold and anything but friendly. When we realized that the table was set for too few people and I pointed this out to the wait staff, the male waitress almost snapped at me, saying we would have to wait. To explain: There were two more children than planned, but we were able to accommodate them without any problems. However, the table setting wasn't sufficient for two, and as a result, we were four seats short. This wasn't a big deal for us, but the waitress' reaction was simply very inappropriate. For starters, everyone had antipasti, which were served on slightly larger plates (mozzarella skewers, grilled vegetables, ham on melon, olive pastries, puff pastry parcels, and vitello tonato). This, too, was presented very carelessly. The food was good, but nothing special. For the main course, as agreed, there were two pasta dishes to choose from. These were unfortunately very poorly presented, but they tasted okay. The last table unfortunately didn't get their food until two hours after arriving. Since we had already selected the food in advance and limited ourselves to two dishes, that was a very long wait, especially since they were rather "simple" pasta dishes. The bill for the evening, however, was simply outrageous. One-third of the bill was supposed to be the appetizer. It was charged at €18.50 per person, which was simply unreasonable for mainly grilled vegetables and tomato and mozzarella skewers. When paying the bill the next day, I politely pointed this out to the manager and asked how this price had been calculated. He reacted very angrily by shouting and barely allowed me to speak during the further conversation. The grievances could therefore not be explained. I think he simply didn't care, and he made that clear by saying he just wanted his money. His wife was there, but when things got heated, she left the room. The situation was really uncomfortable, and since I was holding my young son, I eventually gave up. Of course, we ended up paying the bill the same way. However, it's a shame that the owner can't seem to accept any constructive criticism and that his ego gets in the way, making it impossible to even have a normal conversation. We certainly won't be hosting the next celebration at the Rössle. However, we still find the outcome very unfortunate.

Our last-minute phone reservation for two people on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. was received warmly. Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown to our table. Only one table was occupied in the restaurant, and several outside tables were occupied due to the nice weather. The waiter asked us what we wanted to drink, and we asked for a menu, which was immediately brought to us. I noticed that although various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were listed, beer was missing from the menu. A short while later, the waiter appeared again and asked us what we wanted. We ordered two drinks, one appetizer, and two main courses. We had already "looked" at the menu online, and my wife was already looking forward to the gnocchi with a sauce made from four different cheeses, bacon, and arugula. Unfortunately, the bacon and arugula had been removed from the menu and were not available even upon request. So we opted for a portion of "Bruschetta al pomodoro," "Lasagne prosciutto e funghi," and "Tortellini Emiliana." The starter was served relatively quickly, and the main courses arrived after about 40 minutes. I enjoyed the very hot lasagna, but the tortellini were a bit disappointing, as they were "ready-made" items, which aren't bad in principle. However, our expectation in a restaurant serving Italian cuisine was that the tortellini would be freshly made (which we also accepted after the longer wait). When we asked whether the tortellini were freshly made, the waiter initially replied "yes," but when asked in the kitchen, he corrected it to "high-quality ready-made items." The price was reasonable, the service was friendly, but our visit to the "Rössle" was not an "experience."

We were at a celebration, so our visit had already been announced. The antipasti served were quite tasty. However, the price was outrageous: a very small antipasti plate cost €18.50, and they charged for more plates than were actually served. For the main course, you could choose from two pasta dishes. These were delicious. Some of the service staff were very unfriendly. The next day, the chef was the icing on the cake when he became very loud and shouted when asked about the antipasti plate. All in all, I would not recommend the restaurant and will not eat there again.

I'm a trained chef, pastry chef, and nutritionist. The fetuchini con salmon I ordered were the best I've ever eaten in my life. A harmoniously rounded cream sauce with chunky salmon on perfectly cooked, lightly salted, al dente fetuchini... I'd go back anytime. Hats off to the chef!

Very nice ambiance, friendly staff, and the food was excellent. We had pizza. It was generously topped and without any hard crusts. The only downside: All the pizzas on the menu we were served were cheaper than the bill. The online menu shows the correct prices – on average, €1-€1.50 higher. It would be nice if the prices on the menu were also correct at the table.

We were warmly welcomed and our special requests when ordering were taken into account and implemented perfectly. The ambience invites you to linger and creates a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. Our starters and pizza were excellent – ​​fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. An all-round successful visit – we will definitely be back!

Were there on Valentine's Day. The first time. If you want to enjoy good Italian cuisine, this is the right place for you. The food was a 10 out of 10. Fresh ingredients and good portions. Price performance ratio very good. Would love to come back. Really great ♡♡♡

Very good food... bruschetta en pasta delicious

First: we were always a bit put off by the reviews regarding the service and decided to try it because it was one of the few restaurants that was open on a Monday. As far as the food is concerned, this is certainly not a highlight. There were several of us and there were also complaints about this (but these were receptively received and acknowledged). Pizza was ok overall, but the taste was more like a slightly better frozen pizza. The chosen starter, bruschetta, was asked whether it should be with or without garlic - we found this very positive and the result was very good, even if it was a little underseasoned (but there was salt and pepper to improve this). The pasta, at least in one case, was first served with a metal part in the dish - complained about and immediately completely remade (after really friendly service from the boss). However, it was felt that a carbonara (here with cream) with a beaten egg wasn't really professional. A discount was then granted on the main course, which should also include everything else - it was noticed that the person concerned was still charged for dessert. Overall, the verdict must be made that the service, including from the boss and her employees, was really satisfactory. Overall, we wouldn't come again because of the food and its price-performance ratio and rate everything as "average". You can do it, but you don't have to if you have/find alternatives. Maybe, in the distant future, we'll give this another chance.

Unfortunately, we were anything but satisfied with our visit. Although we arrived just five minutes before the official opening time and waited in a friendly manner, the boss rudely informed us that it wasn't open yet. Even after saying we were happy to wait, we had to listen to more inappropriate comments. When the order was finally taken, guests who arrived after us received their food and drinks first - which unfortunately only worsened our impression. The pizza itself was okay, but the boss's behavior was simply unacceptable. I definitely won't come here again.

The food was quite ok. When I asked for the drinks menu, I was given one, but it wasn't complete. I asked if there was no beer or wine here, then they said yes, this and that. Why isn't this on the drinks menu? And after that, unfortunately, people weren't so friendly towards me anymore. Were a larger group. Everyone was served politely and I wasn't. When I had my leftover pizza packed up, they just "threw" it next to me.

Today I was at Ristorante Rössle with friends. As always, we were greeted very warmly. Pizza and wine very tasty on recommendation. We always like to come back because it is really a very nice atmosphere😊

We ate there today and ordered a tuna salad, a lasagna and rigatoni al forno. Everything was completely over salted and cheap sauces. Waited an hour and a half for the food and was completely disappointed. The atmosphere was nice, the cellars were nice, the boss was a bit rude. I don't recommend it.

We went there for pizza about 3 weeks ago. Very friendly staff and the pizza was really good. It was also very pleasant to sit in the guest garden in the nice weather. 😁👍

A very clean and tidy restaurant. The waitresses were elegantly dressed and very nice. Drinks and food were served quite quickly after ordering. Prices are reasonable for this type of restaurant.

Kudos to the kitchen - the calzone was delicious and the bruschetta reminded me of my last vacation in Italy. Definitely recommended and my number 1 tip for Italian in Laupheim! We were guests here with a large group of guests over the last few days, but there was no trace of hospitality. We had a few questions about the food and the process and were insulted several times by the boss. Between courses we had to wait 1 to 1 1/2 hours until something came. The food was very bland or bare on the plate. All in all very disappointing and not recommended!

Yesterday was a wonderful, enjoyable evening. The six of us were in Rössle with Cosimo and Tina. From the starter, two pasta dishes and dessert, everything was perfectly prepared and served very professionally. A perfect Italian evening accompanied by a very good bottle of white wine. After an extensive bike tour, we were able to enjoy some very good Italian cuisine at the Rössle. The service was very attentive and we spent a lovely evening between old agricultural buildings with a lovely atmosphere. We spontaneously decided to come back the next evening, which we didn't regret. All in all highly recommended.

We were there twice. First meal: Pizza was good, very good service. Next day: my dish: spagetti frutti di mare - a single small shrimp, the rest were small mussels, garnished with three mussels in the shell, one shell was completely broken. General taste was - what taste. On the second day I ordered a white wine spritzer - it tasted like I mixed the leftovers together. I complained about the food - over two thirds were returned, the waiter took note of it - no reaction from the kitchen. The prices - that's how it goes. Summary: Pizza 👍, visit again - No

Very nice Italian restaurant - especially the outside area is very nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food was below average. The pizza took a long time to arrive at the table and was very soggy. Price: reasonable Staff: very nice, but sometimes they don't seem to know where to start (had to ask twice for the bill because they forgot about me).

I've been coming here for years that Mac food tastes good. Always best. My favorite dish is Carpaccio di Polpo. Can only recommend. And big thanks to Cosimo and his wife. 💝

We are visiting Laupheim, had dinner there today with the children and dog and sat in the cozy courtyard (terrace). The food was excellent and the owners were very friendly. Although fries for the children were not on the menu, they were prepared upon request. All in all a nice experience. We were the only guests, which was really incomprehensible to me because of the delicious food.

My wife and I wanted to end the evening with a pizza and ordered a pizza for the two of us. The pizza came and we asked for an additional plate. A small plate was brought to us. After we had paid the bill (total amount €21.50) and we gave a little tip, I noticed an amount of €1.50 marked “Miscellaneous” on the bill. When I asked, the waitress went to the boss to ask. In response I received from her that this was calculated for the purpose of the additional plate. I was surprised and said to the waitress if you were serious and then the owner came and shouted at me that this was normal. He would have to charge for the cutlery and the plate (the cutlery was never received), and in Italy this would be normal. When I replied to him in Italian (I'm an Italo-German myself) that we're not in Italy but in Germany and that people tip in Germany, he continued to shout and was a bit more impudent and complained that it wasn't normal either would be 2 people sharing a pizza. We then got up and left the store. His roar followed us to the front door. I am at a loss for words about such behavior and cannot recommend this store at all. You can't call it a restaurant because a restaurant should create a feel-good atmosphere. Even on the construction site, people have more manners.

Wir sind jedesmal sehr zufrieden…Egal ob wir mit der gesamten Firma zum Weihnachtsessen da sind, mit der Familie, oder zum Mittagstisch. Die Qualität der Speisen ist konstant sehr gut, und das seit Jahren. Die Bewirtung ist sehr freundlich und man füllt sich willkommen.

Essen war lecker, Preise sind hoch. Bedienung hatte nicht den besten Tag. Netter Wirt. Empfehlung.

Ambiente ist schön. Essen war gut. Nach dem Essen sitzt man leider ohne ein weiteres Getränk. Bedienung ist nicht mehr zu sehen. Man hat den Eindruck, man sollte dann das Lokal verlassen. Leider war das nicht das erste Mal so!

Leider nicht mehr das was es mal war. Service war eine Katastrophe, ewige Wartezeiten, keine Bedienung mehr gesehen nachdem man sein Essen hatte und zum zahlen wurde man einfach an die Trese geschickt. Essen war absolut kein Hit - versalzen obwohl wir gerne salzig essen - und für den Preis wirklich alles andere als gut. Wir werden hier definitiv nicht mehr essen gehen. Für die Preise kann man woanders besser & auch kostengünstiger mit super Service essen gehen!

Eines der wenigen Restaurants, die auch montags geöffnet haben. Angenehmes, gehobenes Ambiente. Dezente Deko. Gutes Essen, besonders lecker ist die Pizza. Preise angemessen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Kinderhochstühle vorhanden, aber leider kein Wickelbereich. Kritik diesbezüglich wurde aber sehr höflich entgegengenommen.

Heute waren wir im Ristorante Rössle bei Cosimo essen. Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kids. Als Vorspeise hatten wir leckeres Pizzabrot und tolle Bruschetta🤗😊. Danach gab es Spaghetti Aglio e olio und Tortellini Pana für die Kids. Spaghetti Carbonara und Putenschnitzel mit Salat und Pommes für die Eltern 😁🤩. Zum Abschluss noch ein super leckeres Tiramisu dazu und es war perfekt! Alles war super lecker. Guter Service und nettes Personal. Und Chef Cosimo immer für ein Schwätzchen bereit. 😊👍 Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder... Spätestens zum Essen bei der Kommunionfeier unserer Großen 😁😉🤗👍😘 natürlich auch mit Gästen 😉😁

Ein schönes, sehr leckeres authentisches italienisches Restaurant. Besonders gut sind hier die Fleischgerichte, und die unglaublich große Auswahl an verschiedensten Vorspeisen! Cosimo und Tina sind die lieben und sehr herzlichen Besitzer des tollen Restaurants. Ich kenne Sie schon seit Jahren und freue mich immer wieder, im Rössle essen zu gehen oder Geburtstage zu feiern! Ich kann hier jedes Gericht empfehlen, die Pizza - typisch italienisch, knusprig und lecker, frische Pasta und gute Salate.

Cosimo und Tina gehören schon seit Jahren zum festen Bestand der Restaurant-Kultur der Umgebung. Egal ob früher beim Freibad in Ehingen, im früheren Restaurant zur alten Molke oder jetzt im sehr edlen Ristorante Rössle. Der Service und die liebe Art sind nicht zu ersetzen, dazu noch super Mitarbeiter und natürlich bestes italienisches Essen. Ich liebe nach wie vor die klassische Pizza, aber genieße auf jedem hier gefeierten Geburtstag alle Gerichte - Von den Vorspeisen, zu den Fleischgerichten, zu Nudel und Pizza.
