Ristorante Roma in Bremen

We went there for dinner on Friday. Parking is available right outside. You're shown to a table with a white linen tablecloth. For starters, we had vitello tonnato, followed by sole and tagliatelle as the main course, and for dessert, Torta de la Nonna and pistachio soufflé (see photos). Unfortunately, we were too hungry, so we didn't photograph the other dishes. Thanks to the excellent quality and friendly staff, we'll gladly return.

Very tasty! 100% recommended. The food was very good, and they even had gluten-free pizza (it wasn't on the menu, so you have to ask specifically), and it was really delicious. The waitress is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

At the beginning of October, we celebrated our wedding with around 45 guests at Ristorante Roma – and what can we say: It was simply perfect! The entire team did a fantastic job and made our special day unforgettable. The food was tailored exactly to our wishes and was an absolute highlight in terms of taste – not only we, but also our guests were completely thrilled. The service was impeccable throughout the evening: attentive, professional, and always friendly, without ever being intrusive. Drinks were served promptly, empty glasses were discreetly cleared away – everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. The preparation of the venue also met our expectations exactly – every detail was perfect. We look back on a wonderful celebration and are overjoyed that we chose Ristorante Roma. On our previous visits, Roma has always impressed us with excellent food and friendly service. Our wedding was simply the icing on the cake.

Great food, good service, reasonable prices, but it's way too loud inside, really bad when it's full. No acoustic ceiling, nothing.

We went to Roma quite spontaneously and made a reservation about an hour in advance. The service was quick and friendly. The food was served within a reasonable time. All three dishes were delicious. The veal liver in sage and butter sauce, in particular, was very tender and a real delight. We would be happy to return.

From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was excellent. The service was also very friendly. The pizza comes from a real stone oven.

We ate at Roma yesterday. The food was tasty, not amazing, but okay. The prices are quite high considering the portion size, though. Unfortunately, it's not suitable for vegans. I would like to see vegan options here.

Once and never again! Ordered sea bream and received a fillet. No side dish, just a salad! It wasn't listed as a fillet on the menu. €24 for that, absolutely overpriced!! Pizza very small and transparent. Small amount of topping and dry!! Absolutely terrible value for money!! There was no dip whatsoever with the rolls served beforehand. We've been here for the first time in years and haven't noticed any improvement!! This was our very last visit!!

The "Roma" is an Italian restaurant and, in addition to a cozy terrace that could also serve as a winter garden, offers a beautiful interior for its guests. The decor is fitting, and you can sometimes see into the kitchen. On our previous visits, the staff has always been very friendly, and the wait times between courses were perfectly acceptable. The food itself is very tasty and of high quality. Whether it was appetizers, main courses, or dessert, everything seemed fresh, was well prepared, and the portion sizes were reasonable. The restaurant's prices are average. Parking is available either directly in the courtyard or a few meters away on the street. We usually go there on Saturday evenings and make reservations in advance. We always get a nice seat by the window.

Restaurant Roma in Bremen is a real insider tip. No matter what you order, everything tastes great, but the pizza is truly unbeatable. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and tons of flavor. Prices are fair, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. You always feel welcome. In my opinion, this is the best place in Bremen for Italian food.

Quick decision...Friday, August 22, 2025, 6:45 p.m.......eat at Roma Quickly ordered two pizzas and a fresh draft beer. Table 10 First, we were given small rolls with a side dish. Part of the service at "Roma." Very friendly staff offered us a table....... A short time later, our order was taken....... In the meantime, the "boss" also greeted us warmly. Friendly as always, we feel at home at "Roma" 👍👍👍 Eat.......today two pizzas, which tasted good and very tasty. Note: When we eat fish, we get a little good expert advice if we don't know the fish. The portion was served to us as requested 👍. It was our first choice again. The wait time was normal, even though the place was very busy... no wonder, given the excellent service of all the staff. We always enjoy coming back, whether summer or winter... In the restaurant, white cloth tablecloths! Where else can you find something like that in Bremen? At "Roma," of course... A fantastic restaurant! The quality of the food is outstandingly fresh and prepared with love. The service is attentive and warm, making you feel immediately welcome. The ambiance is also very pleasant. An absolute recommendation for anyone who loves Italian cuisine.

Four of us went to Ristorante Roma for lunch on Saturday. I've known the restaurant for over 45 years. I've only ever eaten pizza there, which is excellent. I can't comment on the other dishes. Unfortunately, I only noticed at home that the bill listed a "piatto freddo" for €10, which we hadn't even ordered! From now on, I'll always read restaurant bills carefully before paying. I've never done this in restaurants before, but rather trust the bill to be accurate. This has left a bad taste in my mouth after what was actually a very delicious meal.

Acoustically difficult and now, from my personal perspective, with a slight imbalance between price and performance.

The food was delicious and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, the Parmesan cheese we ordered didn't arrive, and despite the moderately busy restaurant, it took an exceptionally long time to pay, so we went directly to the employee to pay. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. The staff were friendly.

We ordered two pizzas today while on vacation. We should have ordered one from Doctor Oetker instead. The quality didn't live up to the standard you'd normally expect to find in a restaurant.

It was supposed to be a lovely birthday evening with my partner. In the main room, five tables were occupied, including ours. From the moment we opened (7:30 p.m.) until we left (9:15 p.m.), all the other tables in that room were cleaned rather inconspicuously, tablecloths were waved around, and tables were moved without any consideration for the guests. It was a terrible atmosphere. Even the good three-course menu didn't help.

All in all, we can only recommend Roma to people who want absolutely abysmal service for a relatively high price (over 100 euros). We give one star to the head chef and pizza maker for their courage in serving their guests pizza, pasta, and tomato salad as Italian food. Whatever Roma once was, in our opinion, is definitely over here. Unfriendly, untrained, unprofessional service staff are usually unacceptable for any restaurant. The boss probably relies on such rude employees. That's it for Ristorante Roma...

Very good food and very friendly staff. We've been there several times. The food is always excellent. Everything from the side dishes to the sauces is perfectly balanced.

Here you'll find a very good selection for every taste. For big and small budgets. If you like, you can even order a "luxury steak" for €180.00. I like the friendly and fast service and the good quality at a really good price-performance ratio. I also particularly like the pizzas. The crust is crispy thin, yet full of flavor. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

The pasta was absolutely delicious! The sauces had the perfect consistency. The pasta and tortellini were excellent. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff is very friendly. We'll be back! :)

The food is traditional, fresh and full of Mediterranean flavors. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally warm, attentive service - here you don't feel like a guest, but almost like part of the family. Whether for a cozy dinner or a special occasion: Roma is fully recommended. If you want to experience real Italy, this is the right place for you.

Mini portions, completely ridiculous - if you want to be full afterwards, you should plan straight to the nearest kebab shop. The pizzas? Hard, small and a disappointment in terms of taste. When it comes to pasta, no one knows what's in it - neither what sauce nor what vegetables. Even the waiters don't have a plan. And the best thing: a mini portion of pasta costs an impressive €17. For the money I expect taste, quality and at least a hint of service. The waiter? Totally unmotivated, annoyed facial expression, zero interest in the guest. No tip – logical. And farewell? Not a word. No thanks, no goodbyes. Just plain rude. Never again.

Had dinner here with friends and would happily recommend the Roma restaurant. The menu offered several dishes that I could hardly decide between. The service was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious. The price-performance ratio is also right. In my opinion, a particularly good Italian restaurant.

In any case. Although there is no lunch menu, there are pizzas in two sizes and within the time frame for the lunch break.

Since it is my aunt's favorite restaurant, we have been coming for years when we visit her in Bremen. It's always delicious, especially the pizzas, but also everything else. Pizza is available large and small, which I find very practical. In summer you can sit on the terrace; reservations are recommended. The service is friendly and fast. The wishes of the youngest (2 years old) were also happily fulfilled.

Authentic, stylish, and extremely friendly. The food is of a high standard and based on solid craftsmanship. If I'm informed correctly, this is one of the last family businesses with Italian roots.

I had the pleasure of dining with friends at Ristorante Roma, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was simply outstanding! For starters, I had the vitello tonnato, which was served with a tuna sauce and capers and was also incredibly tender. I enjoyed a refreshing Aperol to accompany it, which made the evening even more enjoyable. For my main course, I chose the veal chop, which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. The staff were extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We began our meal with warm, delicious rolls with a delicious balsamic olive oil dressing, which was the perfect start to our evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was also very inviting; from the outside, it looks like a small castle, which adds a special charm to the whole experience. After we had enjoyed our meal and the evening was drawing to a close, the friendly waiter surprised us with a nightcap. We had a few questions about the restaurant, and the owner even sat down at our table to chat. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the restaurant's philosophy and to exchange ideas. Overall, it was a wonderful evening that I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Italian cuisine in a charming setting.

Really great restaurant. Food made with high-quality ingredients, delicious and served wonderfully hot. Same with the coffee. Despite the mega stress, absolutely attentive service, personal, friendly and to the point. Welcoming with everyone, including families with children. The environment is a bit hustle and bustle and the color is a matter of taste, so 4 stars for the ambience. Absolutely clear recommendation!

I've been eating at Roma for over four decades. I had my first pizza here as a kid. For me, Italy is simply Roma. I grew up with Vincenzo and Sebastiano. Several generations prepare the dishes here. Roma isn't the finest Italian, the restaurant isn't that chic. But you have to imagine that the whole family has been preparing delicious food here for decades and generations. Unfortunately, I haven't come to Bremen too often in recent years. This evening my sandpit friend and I ordered a table there. For me, Roma simply belongs to Bremen like butter on bread.

Sat outside, 4 adults, 2 children. The food was perfect, you only hear a train every now and then, I don't find it annoying.

I was here years ago and knew that no special culinary surprises awaited me and that exactly this expectation would be fulfilled. The food is okay, but it doesn't blow your mind either. The best thing is the rolls with a kind of oil and balsamic dressing mixture. The waitresses are always friendly but not enough on the number of busy days. Price performance is subpar. The best part was the perfect new toilets. Very pretty.

Delicious food at reasonable prices, nice service, nice ambience. The only small drawback: it is very loud in the main room as soon as half of the tables are occupied. This makes the conversation a bit tiring. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we haven't been able to try out the beautiful terrace yet. It's definitely nice to sit there!

Delicious pizza, unfortunately the pasta had been in the kitchen for a long time, was only lukewarm and had already formed the skin on the sauce. Given the prices quoted, it's actually a no-go and a real shame when the food itself tastes good. Yes, it is a former train station, but unfortunately the ambience of a train station hall with high volume in the dining room is not that nice. Overall, the service was very slow and not very attentive. Overall, value for money is okay but not outstanding. There are significantly better Italians in Bremen.

It's always very nice at Roma. I like the food and the service, but it's not cheap. I would say quality and price go together quite well - but a little more "elegance" in the service would be desirable.

Wir waren geschäftlich in einer kleinen Gruppe nach Vorbestellung im Roma - bekannte Adresse, keine schöne Lage, aber ein schönes Haus (kleiner, alter Bahnhof). Die Speisekare ist recht groß, von der ubiquitären Pizza über die Klassiker (Pesce, Paste usw.) ist alles da. Das Restaurant ist nett zum Sitzen, die Plastikzitronen auf dem Tisch... naja, man muss sie ja nicht mitesssen. Mir stand die Lust nach etwas, was die gute Küche sicher besser könne als "übliche" Restaurants. Die Karte gibt wenig Preis, also hatte ich nachgefragt, was Beilage des Lachses sei: entweder saisonales Gemüse oder aber Salat, ich nahm letzteren und dachte irgendwie an ein schönes Stück Lachs auf einem Teller voll Salat. Es kamen zwei Stückchen Lachs auf einem großen Teller mit gelber Sauce. Dazu ein kleines Schälchen Salat - schlicht aber gut, schwamm allerdings im Öl. Das Ganze zu 26€. Das war dann doch sehr irritierend, kein Brot, keine "Beilage" oder irgendetwas sonst auf dem Teller. Die Sauce war ok, schmeckte sehr süß nach geschmolzenem Capri-Eis - etwas lieblos fand ich. Dem Dessert gab ich dann keien Chance mehr, obwohl ich Lust auf Tiramisu hatte. Bei meinen Kollegen sah es nicht übermäßig besser aus - bspw. eine kleine Sardellenpizza, an der der Kollege bis ganz zum Ende herumkaute, eine Straciatella-Suppe, die schlimm aussah, der Kollegin aber schmeckte und Melonenscheiben, auf die man eben Schinken gelegt hatte... Nachspeise oder Kaffee hat dann niemand mehr genommen. Zu Hause gab es noch ein Stück Baguette und einen Jogurt. Vielleicht hätte ich Pasta nehmen sollen - aber nächstes Mal wohl nicht hier.

The foods were above average of Bremen. It has a nice garden for the good weathers. The inner side was not bad. The staff was helpful and polite.. i can recommend this place.. pizzas are better than the pastas from.my point of view..

You can eat carbonara, but it didn't quite suit my taste. The rolls came with rapeseed oil and balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Vitello tonato: it couldn't be cut any thinner.

Unfortunately the dressing on a salad was totally watered down. The other salad tasted vinegary. This was the only accompaniment to the fish and was therefore very disappointing. The pizzas here are excellent.

Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Das Rinderfilet war so zart und saftig, es hat mir das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen lassen. Die Thunfischpizza und die Pizza mit Büffelmozzarella waren ebenfalls köstlich. Aber nicht nur das Essen war großartig, auch der Service war top. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!
