I had the pleasure of dining with friends at Ristorante Roma, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was simply outstanding! For starters, I had the vitello tonnato, which was served with a tuna sauce and capers and was also incredibly tender. I enjoyed a refreshing Aperol to accompany it, which made the evening even more enjoyable. For my main course, I chose the veal chop, which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. The staff were extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We began our meal with warm, delicious rolls with a delicious balsamic olive oil dressing, which was the perfect start to our evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was also very inviting; from the outside, it looks like a small castle, which adds a special charm to the whole experience. After we had enjoyed our meal and the evening was drawing to a close, the friendly waiter surprised us with a nightcap. We had a few questions about the restaurant, and the owner even sat down at our table to chat. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the restaurant's philosophy and to exchange ideas. Overall, it was a wonderful evening that I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Italian cuisine in a charming setting.

Really great restaurant. Food made with high-quality ingredients, delicious and served wonderfully hot. Same with the coffee. Despite the mega stress, absolutely attentive service, personal, friendly and to the point. Welcoming with everyone, including families with children. The environment is a bit hustle and bustle and the color is a matter of taste, so 4 stars for the ambience. Absolutely clear recommendation!

very expensive, the owner thinks he is the only one who has a restaurant. Son of Italian. He saw Rome on a postcard, he doesn't even know what it is and where it is. Very arrogant and rude person.

The building is very beautiful and well-kept from the outside and inside and you also know the background here (Jan Reiners). We would love to come back.

I've been eating at Roma for over four decades. I had my first pizza here as a kid. For me, Italy is simply Roma. I grew up with Vincenzo and Sebastiano. Several generations prepare the dishes here. Roma isn't the finest Italian, the restaurant isn't that chic. But you have to imagine that the whole family has been preparing delicious food here for decades and generations. Unfortunately, I haven't come to Bremen too often in recent years. This evening my sandpit friend and I ordered a table there. For me, Roma simply belongs to Bremen like butter on bread.

We were invited to a birthday dinner at this Italian restaurant. The staff is really super friendly, attentive and quick. From the delicious buffet, I would like to highlight the starters. Antipasti of the finest quality, especially pickled vegetables, onions, artichokes etc. - great.

Unfortunately still WAY too loud. It's more like being at a fairground or train station, but it has nothing to do with cozy food anymore...a shame!!! Food: The veal liver was so thin that it came in pieces. Then just add 2 small potatoes and a few vegetables...sorry, that really covers your price-performance level!! Service was very nice and attentive, great and 1A!!!

Everything always fits together here, great service, delicious pizzas and the sole is to die for. Great white and red wines (off the menu), just ask. We've been coming here regularly for years. Update: Yesterday we had turbot (not much more). Everything is always perfect here. Another great evening 👍

Sat outside, 4 adults, 2 children. The food was perfect, you only hear a train every now and then, I don't find it annoying.

I was here years ago and knew that no special culinary surprises awaited me and that exactly this expectation would be fulfilled. The food is okay, but it doesn't blow your mind either. The best thing is the rolls with a kind of oil and balsamic dressing mixture. The waitresses are always friendly but not enough on the number of busy days. Price performance is subpar. The best part was the perfect new toilets. Very pretty.

Good service, and average food. Prices are high for the taste of the food. We did not like the Pizza and the pizza Brötchen, tiramisu was alright.

Delicious food at reasonable prices, nice service, nice ambience. The only small drawback: it is very loud in the main room as soon as half of the tables are occupied. This makes the conversation a bit tiring. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we haven't been able to try out the beautiful terrace yet. It's definitely nice to sit there!

Delicious pizza, unfortunately the pasta had been in the kitchen for a long time, was only lukewarm and had already formed the skin on the sauce. Given the prices quoted, it's actually a no-go and a real shame when the food itself tastes good. Yes, it is a former train station, but unfortunately the ambience of a train station hall with high volume in the dining room is not that nice. Overall, the service was very slow and not very attentive. Overall, value for money is okay but not outstanding. There are significantly better Italians in Bremen.

It's always very nice at Roma. I like the food and the service, but it's not cheap. I would say quality and price go together quite well - but a little more "elegance" in the service would be desirable.

Wir waren geschäftlich in einer kleinen Gruppe nach Vorbestellung im Roma - bekannte Adresse, keine schöne Lage, aber ein schönes Haus (kleiner, alter Bahnhof). Die Speisekare ist recht groß, von der ubiquitären Pizza über die Klassiker (Pesce, Paste usw.) ist alles da. Das Restaurant ist nett zum Sitzen, die Plastikzitronen auf dem Tisch... naja, man muss sie ja nicht mitesssen. Mir stand die Lust nach etwas, was die gute Küche sicher besser könne als "übliche" Restaurants. Die Karte gibt wenig Preis, also hatte ich nachgefragt, was Beilage des Lachses sei: entweder saisonales Gemüse oder aber Salat, ich nahm letzteren und dachte irgendwie an ein schönes Stück Lachs auf einem Teller voll Salat. Es kamen zwei Stückchen Lachs auf einem großen Teller mit gelber Sauce. Dazu ein kleines Schälchen Salat - schlicht aber gut, schwamm allerdings im Öl. Das Ganze zu 26€. Das war dann doch sehr irritierend, kein Brot, keine "Beilage" oder irgendetwas sonst auf dem Teller. Die Sauce war ok, schmeckte sehr süß nach geschmolzenem Capri-Eis - etwas lieblos fand ich. Dem Dessert gab ich dann keien Chance mehr, obwohl ich Lust auf Tiramisu hatte. Bei meinen Kollegen sah es nicht übermäßig besser aus - bspw. eine kleine Sardellenpizza, an der der Kollege bis ganz zum Ende herumkaute, eine Straciatella-Suppe, die schlimm aussah, der Kollegin aber schmeckte und Melonenscheiben, auf die man eben Schinken gelegt hatte... Nachspeise oder Kaffee hat dann niemand mehr genommen. Zu Hause gab es noch ein Stück Baguette und einen Jogurt. Vielleicht hätte ich Pasta nehmen sollen - aber nächstes Mal wohl nicht hier.

The foods were above average of Bremen. It has a nice garden for the good weathers. The inner side was not bad. The staff was helpful and polite.. i can recommend this place.. pizzas are better than the pastas from.my point of view..

You can eat carbonara, but it didn't quite suit my taste. The rolls came with rapeseed oil and balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Vitello tonato: it couldn't be cut any thinner.

We had lunch at Ristorante Roma on Saturday with 4 people. I have known the restaurant for over 45 years. So far I've only ever eaten pizza there, which is excellent. I can't say anything about the other dishes. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed that the bill listed a "Piatto freddo" for 10 euros that we hadn't ordered! In the future, I will generally take a close look at the bills in restaurants before paying. So far I have never done this in restaurants, but rather trusted the correctness of the billing. This now has an unpleasant aftertaste after what was actually a very tasty meal.

Unfortunately totally disappointing. Simply poor quality. There are clearly better Italians in Bremen.

If you want to experience real Italian cuisine in Bremen, then you can't miss Roma! As always, the food tasted great and the service shows that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. We'd love to come back again ;)

Unfortunately the dressing on a salad was totally watered down. The other salad tasted vinegary. This was the only accompaniment to the fish and was therefore very disappointing. The pizzas here are excellent.

Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Das Rinderfilet war so zart und saftig, es hat mir das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen lassen. Die Thunfischpizza und die Pizza mit Büffelmozzarella waren ebenfalls köstlich. Aber nicht nur das Essen war großartig, auch der Service war top. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Really bad even by Bremen standards. Nice building and ambience but the food, a complete rip off. The pizza is an absolute farce, the dough is old and greasy, looks pre-baked and warmed up. The surface is also weak. Vegetables seem to have been warmed up in the microwave, the drinks are bland, non-carbonated and the mineral water seems like refilled tap water. The only top quality in this shop that is an insult to Italian cuisine are the prices, which can safely be described as outrageous given the level of food. Absolutely not recommended. Unfortunately.

We were very happy with the soups, the pasta and the pana cotta and the drinks. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Our dog (Golden Retriever) was also very welcome and was given water.

There were eight of us, the food was great, as was the service. The waitress always had an eye for us. The ambience was cozy and warm.

We spontaneously had lunch here. I had a pizza and the pestachio soufflé for dessert. The food was excellent and really tasty. The staff was also very friendly. Since I was only in town for business, unfortunately it was too far away. Absolutely recommended!

Zum Mittagessen durch Zufall ausgewählt.....vom Ambiente sehr rustikal und durch die baulichen Vorgaben doch etwas hallenartige Atmosphäre im Hauptteil des Restaurants....ein bisschen wie in der "Edel-Mensa"...., eine Aussenterrassewird angeboten. Leider haben wir keinen barrierefreien Eingang gefunden.....🤔 Wer möchte, kann dem Koch bei der Zubereitung zuschauen, im Eingangsbereich ist die Küche offen gestaltet. Der Service ist zuvorkommend, manchmal etwas kühl, aber korrekt und nicht aufdringlich.... Die Auswahl an Speisen ist gut gegliedert und Übersichtlich, keine überladene Karte mit 1001 Sorte Pizzen .....sehr gut.....eine Tagesempfehlung wird angeboten, weit sichtbar an einer großen Wandtafel. Das Preisniveau ist bei der derzeitigen Lage in der Gastronomie als mittel- bis hochpreisig anzusiedeln. Die Qualität der Speisen ist gehoben, wobei bei den Tellergerichten, auch bei Nudelgerichten, etwas mehr Phantasie beim Anrichten sehr gut täte.....es ist ja keine Kantine..... Wir kommen gerne noch einmal vorbei und genießen die sehr schmackhafte Küche. 👍👍👍👍

Bellissimo Ristorante , soprattutto la gente molto gradevole e gentilissima!!!! , anche se non avevamo l'appuntamento , ci hanno dato la possibilitá di avere un tavolo . Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Posso consigliare la pasta e le insalate , che erano abbondanti e gustose. La prossima volta che saremmo a Bremen, andremmo volentieri, .....con un appuntamento ;-)

Eine super tolles Restaurant. War nach über 10 Jahren mal wieder dort und die Qualität ist immer noch hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich kann ein Besuch hier nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war wie immer super, aber leider waren an unserem Nachbartisch mehrere Familien mit ihren doch sehr lebhaften und lauten Kindern. Das haben wir als sehr störend empfunden.

Sehr nettes Personal! Sind spontan mit fünf Erwachsenen & drei Kindern eingekehrt und haben einen tollen Platz bekommen, obwohl viele Plätze reserviert waren. Das Essen kam flott und war sehr sehr schmackhaft! Immer wieder gerne!

Heute spontan zu viert ohne Reservierung gegessen. Pizza, Pasta mit Steinpilzen, Dolci alles war super. Der Service trotz voller Auslastung aufmerksam und super freundlich. Und das alles ist den Preis wert.

Sehr leckere Pizzen! Angenehm freundlicher Service. Wenn man draußen auf der großen schönen Terrasse sitzt, sollte man bedenken, dass die naheliegende Eisenbahnlinie etwas stört. Da kann natürlich das Roma nichts dafür!

Miserablen Service von ungelernten Kräften. Im Garten schönes Ambiente innen wie in der Kantine - eng und schmucklos. Völlig überteuerte Tagesgerichte. Matschige Vorspeisen, geschmacklos Nudeln (Carbonara) und Pizza wie von Dr Oetker

Vitello Tonnato: lecker, Standard, wir hätten es uns mehr medium, rosa gewünscht. Insalata di Carciofini: super frisch, ganz tolles Dressing mit Ruccola und gemischtem Salat. Mein Geheimtipp. Pizza La Stalla: ich dachte immer zuerst Käse dann Belag. Mir ist der Belag vom Pizzaboden gerutscht. Aber ansonsten alle Zutaten frisch und lecker. Schöner dünner Boden. Pizza Bianca: weisser Boden mit Burrata und Ruccola. Wirklich top. Es gibt auch noch eine zusätzliche Speisekarte auf einer Tafel mit vielen Gerichten. Personal freundlich aber nicht ganz aufmerksam. Wir mussten mehrfach daraufhinweisen dass wir bezahlen möchten. Uns wurde ein falsches Gericht berechnet. Konnten wir dann aber drinnen klären und haben es wieder erstattet bekommen. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Lokal. Hell und freundlich, viele Sitzplätze. Ein ehemaliger Bahnhof. Grosse Terrasse, leider etwas zu laut zum unterhalten. Sehr viel grün ringsum. Wenige Parkplätze direkt vor dem Eingang. Ansonsten auf der Straße. Bushaltestelle direkt ggü.

Im Essen war zu wenig Knoblauch und der Service war stellenweise sehr unaufmerksam, zuweilen vergesslich

Immer wieder gerne! Hier fühlen wir uns seit Jahren wohl egal ob Vorort, oder Pizza zum rausholen immer alles super lecker und zu fairen Preisen! Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen.

Das Lokal ist nichts besonderes, einfache Einrichtung aber mit Biergarten. Service war zwar freundlich aber auf das Minimum reduziert (Zeitdruck), es herrschte Hektik, verschiedene Bedienungen und teils wurde das Essen ohne die Beilagen serviert. Die Lasagne, ein einfaches ur-italienisches Gericht, war eine reine Enttäuschung. Das Lammfilet war nicht mehr als OK aber keineswegs der Preisklasse entsprechend (ca. 34 €). Das Dessert (Schoko cake) war nicht nur innen, sondern fast komplett flüssig, ein Mikrowellen cake so unser Eindruck (ca. 9€). Auf die Antipasti haben wir bewusst verzichtet, es sah nicht nach selbst gemacht aus in der 'Vitrine' (preise lassen anderes erwaten) Empfehlung wenn ich mir das erlauben darf: -- Mehr Zeit für den Gast -- Klassische Gerichte sollten die Stärke der Küche ausdrücken und besonders schmackhaft sein!! Bei einem solchen Familien und Traditions Restaurant haben wir genau das erwartet. Es war leider nicht so. -- Fazit: Sorry aber wir kommen nicht wieder.
