A taste of the Adriatic in Plieningen. A sunny beer garden with plenty of shady spots and incredibly delicious food. An Italian restaurant where the dishes are still freshly prepared. A must-visit and a real treat for fish and seafood lovers. Grilled salmon. Mediterranean, authentic with vegetables. Light and delicious. The penne arrabbiata was exactly as it should be: al dente, pleasantly spicy, perfect for a hot summer day. An excellent salad to start and an aromatic espresso to finish. Fast, attentive service. The interior is as cozy as a taverna. Amazing what the chefs conjure up in the small kitchen. Excellent value for money. On our second visit, we sat inside with friends. Cozy, intimate, and tastefully decorated. The cannelloni with spinach and cheese filling was divine. Friends indulged in spaghetti with mussels. Generously garnished with mussels. Delicious. Third visit: Today we opted for sea bream fillet with spaghetti and chanterelles. Very tasty 😋, substantial yet light. We started with a crisp little salad and then some oven-warm pizza bread. Friendly service from the owner. Cozy atmosphere.

I wanted to get a nice salad to go and eat it on the lawn. I ordered it by phone. Unfortunately, the person on the phone spoke almost no German. In a pinch, it worked. When I wanted to pick it up, the boss himself was extremely rude. I was 10 minutes early, and asked if I could look at my watch. God, how awful, a boss who looked at me like that, you idiot. Highly recommended! Very tasty food with a cozy, shady terrace seating. Friendly service, and the food arrived relatively quickly despite the almost full terrace. Super tasty antipasti, especially the eggplant involtini. A delicious affogato finished the meal beautifully.

The food was fantastic, the prices were also very fair... But unfortunately, we had the garbage dump behind us... We pointed this out to the waitress, but unfortunately, she didn't take it seriously... Eating with the swarm of flies was not so much fun.

A very nice little Italian restaurant with delicious pasta and pizza dishes. You can sit both inside and outside, although the dining area is divided into two sections, which I find very pleasant. This ensures a pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor seating is also always comfortable thanks to the umbrellas. The service is very friendly and attentive, and you can order food and pick it up on site.

A very quaint restaurant, located in the heart of a residential area. Excellent service and delicious food at a fair price. We've been there several times now and have always been impressed. Because the restaurant is relatively small, it's worth making a reservation. Takeout is also available.

As an American, ordering was easy. The waitress was very kind and was very helpful. One thing that stood out was the atmosphere. This place doesn't try to pack in as many people as possible. They reserve it for a small crowd. It is quiet and very relaxing. A perfect Sunday evening! I will be visiting again and again.

I've known Ristorante Pulcinella for several years and is a regular stop when I'm in the area. It offers a very cozy, typically Italian atmosphere and there is something for every taste on the menu and daily recommendations. The food is top-notch in terms of taste and quality and comes to the table quickly after you order. In addition, the staff is really friendly and attentive.

I don't love the place, the food, or the owner, but he is very friendly, attentive, and nice.

I had planned a birthday party for 10 people three days before, and I wanted to clarify something about the birthday party plan, but was told at that moment that it wasn't going to work out. I didn't think it was a professional approach because they didn't let me know in time, and I only found out by chance on the day because I wanted to clarify something. The supposed waitress couldn't give me an answer as to why. The boss had disappeared without a trace. I'm glad about that now, because I didn't trust them. I found something better.

I went there with my wife for the first time today. Very nice ambiance with a terrace area and lovely decor. Delicious food... But above all, great service and very friendly staff! Addendum: Where is the 5th star? I would really like to give it one! I've never seen such a lovely restaurant with great food and such a dedicated and caring chef.💯

Can't cook pasta. Tried this place twice, not sure why everything is super dente. Risotto, tortellini, all hard. And don't even bother asking for a check, it takes longer to make than the food. Waited over 20 minutes after asking for the check multiple times... While in the cold. Typical customer service for the country, which is completely lacking I wanted to walk out because obviously they don't care and I shouldn't have to pay after being held hostage Open random hours/days. I really wanted to enjoy this place because it's so close to my house... But, it fails...hard

I absolutely cannot recommend this pizzeria! On Tuesday we personally asked the boss how expensive a party pizza would be because we only had a certain amount of money available. He then said 20 euros per pizza, which was fine. This was also posted in front of the restaurant. When we wanted to pick up our pizzas on Sunday, it was strange that we had to get them from another branch without getting any notice beforehand. It was explained to us on site that a pizza would suddenly cost 30 euros. When we tried to explain that something else had been agreed upon, he blocked us. When we wanted to talk again a few hours later after our event, we noticed that all of the menus on the notice board had suddenly been replaced. When we talked to the boss, he was very rude and walked away in the middle of the conversation because he was visibly uncomfortable. We will never order there again!!!

A nice little restaurant with very fine Italian cuisine at a very reasonable price. We come to Hohenheim two or three times a year and look forward to the Pulcinella every time! The only small drawback: in winter, there's a bit of a draft through the windows.

A very delicious and cozy restaurant. It's also pleasantly quiet for conversation, and the service is super friendly. The seafood pasta and the homemade lemon sorbet are highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Extremely warm welcome, very good value for money

Restaurant hours are different than listed online. Showed up in the rain, drove in from the city just for this place, only for the lady to tell us they don't open for another hour. However I have been here before and I know the food and ambience is wonderful :)

Everything great. You can sit wonderfully both outside and in the restaurant. Pizzas and fish dishes as well as salads were very good. And value for money is right. Keep it up.

We have been visiting the Pulcinella restaurant in Stuttgart-Birkach for over ten years now - and so far it has always been a short, culinary excursion to Italy that we have enjoyed. But our most recent visit, on the occasion of my birthday, will unfortunately be remembered for all the wrong reasons. When our five-year-old son dared to move a chair on the terrace, we were immediately told, with the urgency of a security officer, and somewhat strangely, to please be quieter. That would have been manageable if, after a short discussion about children and noise levels, we hadn't been subtly suggested to leave the restaurant - mind you, because small children apparently represent an unmistakable imposition. Of course, something like that would never happen in Bella Italia, where children are almost sacred. If you're looking for Italian hospitality, you're probably not in good hands here. But for stressed seniors it is certainly an idyllic oasis of peace. It's a shame that a place we have valued for so long has disappointed us so much on a special day.

The two of us were there last night with our little dog. We were allowed to sit in the beautiful beer garden, the atmosphere was really great, our waiter was really authentic. Very nice and accommodating. But the best part was the food, we chose caprese salad, tagliatelle and dessert. The food was really great. We felt like we were on vacation in Italy. We used to love being here a lot. I don't like it when some guests get grappa or something similar for free at the end and others don't. We often ate over €100 with three courses and in Christmas 2019 we didn't even get a small cake, which those who had lunch with a drink for €12 got. That's why we were away for many years, and now we're back again recently. Ambiance is nice, food is delicious, service could sometimes be a bit more open and friendly

Telephone reservation yesterday June 8th, 2024 was not possible because I tried to call there 4 times for 1.5 hours and no one picked up, even though the restaurant was open. Something like this shouldn't happen! We went to another Italian restaurant.

Very cozy and rustic Italian restaurant. The service is extremely good, the staff are very helpful and courteous. Pizza and pasta are of first-class quality. A greeting from the kitchen and the offer of a digestif are a given here. Price performance is absolutely right here.

Food is good, staff was friendly.

We ordered there a few times and the food was delicious, but now we made a reservation there and registered there, but the waiters hardly paid us any attention and said something would be available every 10 minutes. Then we were supposed to split up into two tables, which wasn't really ok. That's why we later went to another Italian restaurant where we felt we were treated much better.

Four of us went to dinner. Good service and very good food. Greetings from the kitchen and then a degustation. After noting that a meal was missing from the bill, it still wasn't charged.

Ein wirkliches sehr gemütliches Restaurant, im Sommer mit tollem Biergarten! Der Meeresfrüchtesalat ist für mich der Beste in der Region. Der Pizzateig ist absolut ausgewogen, perfekte Mischung aus knusprig aber auch zart. Auch die Pasta ist absolut außergewöhnlich im Geschmack! Die Zutaten sind frisch, der Service ist absolut freundlich. Man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl! In der heutigen Spargesellschaft glaube ich auch das einzige Restaurant, bei welchem es immer einen Gruß aus der Küche gibt. Kleine, aber sehr symbolträchtige und nicht selbstverständliche Aufmerksamkeit! Preis Leistung stimmt absolut! Mittlerweile mein Lieblingsitalienier im Umkreis! Riesen Kompliment!

Pizza schmeckte okay, gibt bessere Pizzen. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen bestellt. Auf der Margherita war sehr sehr viel Käse und viel zu hell für meinen Geschmack. Die Prosciutto Fungi war besser aber auch nicht überzeugend. Positiv war der schnelle Service.

Uriges Restaurant. Super Atmosphäre! Essen und Service hervorragend! Preise sind super! Kommen immer wieder gerne! Am besten vorher reservieren, da es immer recht voll/ausgebucht ist!

An heißen Tagen stinkt es im Außenbereich derart penetrant nach Mülltonne, daß einem echt der Appetit vergeht! Wir mußten gehen, obwohl wir uns sehr auf das gute Essen gefreut hatten.

Hier gibt es sehr leckeres Essen bei einem schönen Ambiente. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich.

Gestern habe ich mir Party Pizza bestellt weil ich mit meine junges in der Nähe Arbeite es ging ganz schnell mit der Bestellung war echt mega lecker danke 👍👍

Wir hatten für unsere kleine Familienfeier reserviert. Wir nahmen Platz und merkten schnell, daß sich in direkter Nachbarschaft zu unserem Tisch des Nachbarns Mülleimer befindet. Bedingt durch die anhaltend heiße Witterung stank es derart bestialisch, daß wir den Wirt bitten mußten, uns umsetzen zu dürfen. Man war sehr bemüht - nach 15 Minuten Warten im Inneren des Lokals bezogen wir unseren neuen Tisch. Als wir bestellen wollten, meinte die weibliche Bedinung "sorry only english!" - zwei der Gäste konnten deshalb nicht selbst ihre Bestellung aufgeben, ein Unding im Bezug auf den Service! Die Bestellung mußte dann zweimal aufgegeben werden, da es aufgrund der sprachlichen Barriere beim 1. mal zu einem Mißverständnis gekommen war. Dann erschien die englischprachige Bedienung wieder und wollte uns Pizzabrötchen servieren. Für unerfahrene Gäste wird hier der Eindruck suggeriert, daß diese Spezialität Teil der Bestellung sei. Dem ist aber nicht so! Für drei kleine Pizza-Brötchen werden pro Person EUR 3,90 gesondert berechnet. Im wissen darüber lehnten wir die "freundliche Einladung des Hauses" dankend ab. Nach EINER Stunde Wartezeit kam dann unsere Bestellung: Die Pizzen waren gut - insbesondere der Teig und die frischen Zutaten - ein italinischer WoW-Effekt, wie wir ihn von früher her kannten, wollte sich aber nicht mehr einstellen. Unterm Strich: Das war nix. Vielleicht in einem Jahr mal wieder,,...

Authentische italienische Cuisine. Das Essen war super lecker, frisch und authentisch. Sehr empfehlenswert und gerne wieder…

Er zijn 2 vestigingen van dit restaurant en gezien het ene - in het centrum - ging sluiten, stuurden ze ons naar de andere vestiging, een 400 meter stappen uit het centrum. Het terras zat behoorlijk vol, maar er waren nog een 3-tal tafels vrij. 1 gereserveerd en de andere waren nog nat van een regenbui een tijd ervoor. Toch werd ons gezegd dat er geen plaats meer was. We mochten wel binnen zitten. Daar was het echt een sauna. Ze verzekerden ons dat we naar buiten zouden kunnen van zodra er plaats was. Er kwam 1 groepje toe, de gereserveerde tafel die buiten plaats kon nemen. Er kwam nog een koppeltje toe en die mochten aan 1 van de ´natte´ tafels plaatsnemen. Ondertussen begonnen ze binnen onze tafel te dekken. Ik kon het niet laten te vragen waarom het koppeltje buiten kon gaan zitten terwijl ons beloofd werd dat we van zodra mogelijk buiten konden gaan zitten. We kregen voor de 2de keer een hele uitleg, we wisten niet hoe het daar aan toe ging, de kussens van de vrije stoelen waren nat, veel woorden maar weinig actie. Toen de dame die ons al de hele tijd aansprak eindelijk ook een mannelijke collega aanspraak kwam er schot in de zaak. We mochten eindelijk naar buiten. De kussens waren niet nat, de tafel ook niet, we konden eten. Mijn pasta a l´arabiata was van de meest pikante soort. Ik weet niet hoe het komt maar om 1 of andere reden voelden we ons echt ongewenst in deze zaak. Ware het niet dat dit zowat de enige plek was dicht bij ons hotel waar we nog konden eten, had ik zeker opgestaan en vertrokken.

Lachs war innen roh. Nach Rückmeldung an Bedienung passierte nichts. Nach Beschwerde beim Chef wurde ich der Küche verwiesen. Schlechtes Essen, schlechte Dienstleistungsqualität!

An einem schönen Sommerabend speisten wir auf der Terrasse des Ristorante Pulcinella unter einem riesigen Sonnenschirm. Das Essen- Antipasti Pizza Pasta- war sehr lecker und wir haben beschlossen, bald wieder hinzugehen.

Eine sehr gemütliche und schöne Atmosphäre. Vor allem draußen. Man merkt kaum, dass man direkt neben einer Straße ist. Das essen ist auch lecker und die Preise sind absolut fair. Am ersten Abend mussten wir etwas länger warten. Aber am zweiten Abend ging es dafür umso schneller. Unsere Bedienung war auch super nett und aufmerksam. Hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt

Rustikales Restaurant, kleine Räume aber dennoch gemütlich. Authentische Italiener die ihr Handwerk offenbar können: ich hatte die Fettuccine al Tartufo von der Empfehlungskarte, sehr lecker. Auch die Pasta und Pizzen meiner Begleiter waren lt. eigenen Aussagen gut. Der Service ist freundlich, es gibt einen Gruß aus der Küche und die Preise sind angemessen. Kommen sicher wieder.

Super leckere Gerichte zu fairen Preisen. Auch für Vegetarier ist die Auswahl groß. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr, sehr nett und charmant. Es empfiehlt sich einen Tisch vorab zu reservieren. Auch die Parkplatzsituation um das Restaurant herum ist für Stuttgart und Umgebung wirklich gut. Ich war schon oft dort und komme gerne wieder.

Essen bei Pulcinella ist wie ein kleiner Urlaub für mich- Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen - ein Genuß. Im Sommer draußen sitzen und einfach entspannen. Ich komme gerne hier her.

Mein liebster Italiener....mit Abstand! Toller Service, immer top freundlich, egal wie voll es ist. Und das ist es immer! Top Qualität beim Essen, ich kenne es nicht besser.

Sehr freundlicher "Italiener". Sehr gute Speisekarte. Meeresfrüchtepizza hatte sehr guten Teig, Allendings war die Soße etwas wenig gewürzt und Meeresfrüchte bestanden nur aus Oktopus und 4 vertrockneten Niesmuscheln in der Schale. Ambiente sehr gut.

Sehr nett und gemütlich. Das Personal ist aber oft sehr im Stress und etwas überfordert. Ohne Vorreservierung geht meistens nichts. Beim abholen wird leider immer wieder was vergessen oder falsch gemacht. In Summe aber ein toller Italiener zu dem wir immer gerne gehen, da das Essen sehr lecker ist 😊

Wir sind regelmäßig wieder unterwegs und somit einmal pro Woche im Pulcinella. Ein äußerst professioneller Service und eine gute Küche,auch die Weinauswahl und Qualität -

Wir waren jetzt 3 x da, haben immer andere Speisen (Vor- und Hauptspeisen) gegessen und waren jedesmal von der Qualität überzeugt. Es kostet zwar seinen Preis aber es ist gut.

Wir hatten eine Familienfeier. Statt wie vereinbart im Nebenzimmer nur für uns wurden wir im Hauptgastraum platziert. Das Essen war teilweise sehr schlecht: im Steinpilzrisotto waren statt Steinpilzen nur Champignons, das Risotto selbst wirklich kein Genuss. Das Fischfilet war extrem trocken/durchgebraten, die Pizza hatte maximal Tiefkühlpizzaniveau. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war durchschnittlich.
