There were plenty of wait staff at the time but I had to wait quite a while to be served. The pizza was very bad, it felt like I was eating a frozen pizza from a store.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara and got spaghetti with cream sauce (alla panna sauce). When I asked the waiter, he explained that they were intentionally selling it as a German spaghetti carbonara... I don't understand that, unfortunately, since the menu says spaghetti carbonara, not spaghetti alla panna. Since the rest of the food was also only average, I'm only giving it a two-star rating.

In my opinion, nothing was homemade and it was pre-made industrial food. Even the pizza didn't give the impression of being homemade.

It was our first time there. Everything was perfect. Friendly, attentive service. Despite the terrace being full, the food arrived after 15 minutes. Everything tasted excellent.

We went to this restaurant with our kids while camping, and even though it was incredibly busy, all the staff were super friendly and attentive. Even when one of our kids dropped a glass, they immediately helped us and remained incredibly friendly. They also worked well together, always having a kind word for everyone, which created a great atmosphere and made us want to go back the very next day. It was a very positive experience, as it's something we don't experience very often. Plus, a beautiful view, good food, and fair prices. What more could you want? Thanks for two lovely and delicious evenings.

I can do that better at home, sorry. So, the answer I got was "???". Then... "Well, the pizza dough wasn't that good, and Frutti de Mare means more than mussels, although I love them." I'd like to try cooking spaghetti Frutti de Mare with the chef. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but it requires more than just oil.

Suuuupppeerrrr delicious, definitely going back... the food was very, very good. Extension... had pizza today 🍕 ooohhh, it was good... My mom had one too and said about 28,448 times how delicious it was.

The quality varies between summer and winter. In winter, I would give it 4.5 stars; in summer, 3 is too many in terms of quality and service; but the view from the terrace is beautiful. UPDATE Aug 2025: Lasagna was abysmal.

We had a very nice waiter at the beginning. We mentioned to him that we had a Schlemmer Block (a kind of schnitzel block). The food came quickly and was quite good, however, my friend had noticed two hairs on his chanterelle mushrooms. He then stopped eating. The waiter asked him if everything was okay. He showed him the hairs, and he said that the schnitzel was good but didn't want to eat any more. The waiter went into the kitchen with the plate. Another waiter came and told us (with the same plate in his hand) that it was just dirt and that he could continue eating. My friend, of course, didn't want that, and we paid. Since it was a different waiter, I mentioned again that I had a Schlemmer Block. I was only told if they had mentioned it from the beginning, or rather, who did they report it to? I meant the person who brought us our drinks. I have never tipped so little in my entire life as I did that day, but the whole situation was unprofessional and unfortunately not customer-oriented....

Unfortunately, the pizza plates aren't preheated, so the food gets cold quickly. My Funghi pizza was definitely too cold for me 😠. This needs improvement ☝🏽 Nevertheless, the lakeside terrace is highly recommended!

I've been here twice, staying at the campsite. Both times, I was unfortunately disappointed. The grilled calamari and chicken breast salad were both unappealing. The chocolate souflé was practically swimming in vanilla sauce straight from the package. It's a shame. The service is very friendly and the restaurant is lovely.

Everything is great, it couldn't be better

The ambiance is really nice and the food was delicious. However, what really stood out to us was that the restrooms were very dirty and there was no toilet paper or anything to dry our hands with. We were still sitting at our table with our drinks, and the restaurant was actually open for over an hour, but we were immediately "swept out" when the waiter simply slammed the bill on the table without any comment and without being asked to do so. You don't do that, and they at least ask if you'd like something else to drink because they wanted to close the restaurant early. What a shame...

Well, there's potential there. They probably weren't in the mood for my pizza. Because instead of shaved Parmesan shavings, my half-raw Mediterrana only got a touch of grated Parmesan, along with some clever reassurances! What a waste of time.

Everything was booked on a Sunday lunchtime. That was a good thing for the owner. Very loud! Cold potatoes. The menu said "triplets" but they were boiled potatoes. The body was good but the menu was simple. The vegetables were piping hot. To make up for the potatoes? No one asked if I wanted dessert or a coffee. I ordered a second drink, but it was forgotten and only brought after I asked. I heard a lot of good things but was unfortunately disappointed.

The food was fine. Adequate considering the prices. The service got the job done. The atmosphere was relaxed sitting in the shade of big umbrellas nurturing our beers.

Grilled calamari was a total disaster. It wasn't calamari but a cut-up tube of cuttlefish. This was unseasoned and still half raw. There was an orange sauce on top that was reminiscent of baby jars and tasted like one too. The alleged potato triplets were just chopped, fried potato pieces with no taste. It's unbelievable how you can cook so badly.

We were very disappointed here this time. The grilled calamari was disappointingly bad. These tasted like nothing and the vegetables were also bland. The schnitzel Gorgonzola was the crowning glory, a floury sauce. It really tasted like flour. After complaining, the waiter even tried it and confirmed that something wasn't right. Maybe it was just that day and the worm was in there... The pizza otherwise tasted good, which is why I only want to rate this day here.

Very tasty and fresh food. From the antipasti and pizzas to the schnitzel and pasta dish, everything was fresh and delicious. The portions were generous and beautifully presented! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Luckily, we had a reservation—where everything is perfect, lots of guests come! So be sure to make a reservation. We'll definitely be back!

The food was to die for! The tomato soup was perfectly seasoned and super creamy. The salmon pasta was on point – tender, fresh and full of flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was cozy. A real highlight, I'll definitely be back! Top, top!

In a great location by the lake in Kahl, large and clean. The kitchen has a lot to offer and always surprises with new creations from the seasonal menu. Over the years we have always followed the staff's recommendations and have never been disappointed. The service is very attentive, professional and friendly. We also made a few friends there and always enjoy talking to the nice people. The boss is a special man, very well-read and always open to any criticism, suggestion or conversation. We have been coming to the Seeterrasse regularly for years and want it to stay that way!

We were there for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, it felt more like a large cafeteria than an Italian restaurant. When our food arrived on a serving trolley shortly afterward, we all noticed that the food was almost cold and the portions were very small. Given the rather high prices on the Christmas menu specially prepared for this date, we had expected more.

Unfortunately it wasn't a good experience. When we mentioned that we were using a gourmet block, we were suddenly served by another waiter and were given the impression that we were not welcome guests. Everyone around us was served faster, even if they arrived much later. In any case, the waiters gave the impression that they were a bit annoyed about it. Bruchetta was ok, the salad was tasteless and not very appetizing. The portion of pasta for €20 consisted of 6 pasta with sauce. The "homemade" pasta was served cold and definitely didn't taste like homemade pasta. We drove a longer distance because we saw the restaurant in Schlemmerblock and wanted to try it out. The mood became very strange and we didn't want to stay any longer after the main course and decided not to have dessert. A little tip: Just because people have a gourmet block, you don't have to treat them differently and don't look surprised that there is still a tip. There are many people who receive the gourmet block as a gift and use it to test new restaurants.

Went to the lake terrace again for dinner today. You are greeted warmly, orders were taken immediately and you were served within a few minutes. Short waiting time until the food is served. The rump steak Gorgonzola was very lovingly prepared and presented, and the food tasted perfect. A very sincere compliment and 5 stars for that. You can't make it any better. Thank you, also for the espresso on the house. Would love to come back.

Hello, unfortunately the stove is currently broken. Of course, that can always happen. You should only do this outside and not let people come in and order drinks. This causes more damage than it brings in sales. Just treat each other fairly. A quick note outside and when ordering drinks would be helpful. There was only pizza Wienerschnitzel (convenience) and lasagna. Too bad

Things used to be really good here and we were here a lot. But now the food and service have deteriorated so much that I prefer to eat somewhere else. Price/performance ratio simply doesn't fit at all anymore. And if you want an extra plate because you want to eat a pizza for two, for example, it will be charged €1! I can only shake my head!

Really disappointed for the first time. Grilled calamari was not ok. I've always been happy so far, but this time there was no sign of it being grilled. I complained about it and had it grilled again, but afterwards it was still limp and limp. The kitchen needs to be improved here. The negative change can be seen in pictures from before to today.
