Waren zum Geburtstag hier und hatten einen tollen Abend. Wie auf dem Foto zu sehen hatten wir die Fischplatte jeweils für 2 Personen sowie mehrere Vorspeisen. Alles super lecker und weiter zu empfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Mega leckeres Essen, super nette Mitarbeiter und ein richtig schönes Ambiente. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Komme definitiv wieder!

Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal in diesem Lokal, der Servus super das Essen genial und was mit nur 5 Sternen viel zu wenig ist , ist sie Freundlichkeit diese Sympathie und Wohlfühlfaktor . Wir kommen wieder 🤗

Insgesamt war ich mit dem Erlebnis zufrieden. Die Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise war sehr schmackhaft und aromatisch. Auch das mediterrane Meeresfrüchte-Pastagericht schmeckte gut, allerdings war die Menge an Meeresfrüchten recht gering. Der Calamari dominierte, während die anderen Meeresfrüchte in so kleinen Mengen vorhanden waren, dass man ihren Geschmack kaum wahrnehmen konnte. Trotzdem waren die Gerichte aufmerksam zubereitet und der Service sehr gut und zuvorkommend.

Wir haben Essen zum Abholen bestellt und mussten kaum warten! Das Essen war super lecker und absolut empfehlenswert. Sowohl am Telefon als auch vor Ort wurden wir sehr freundlich und höflich behandelt. Wir bestellen bzw. kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Von einer tollen Begrüßung über eine täglich wechselnde Karte zur Stammkarte. Die Möglichkeit Glutenfreie Brot mitzubringen. Immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die besten Muscheln die ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe.

Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen rein zufällig. Essen war sehr lecker und preislich völlig im Rahmen. Sehr positiv ist die Bedienung hervorzuheben sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Once again, we were passing through—this time from Saarland. It's always an experience to be a guest here. There's an outside elevator to the accessible entrance, and there's also an accessible restroom. An extensive menu perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. We were in Frankenthal with our company over the weekend and spontaneously decided to eat at Porto Vecchio by the Rosengarten. Making a table reservation over the phone was no problem. The chef personally welcomed us and showed us to our table. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Half a point deducted for the promised grappa from the chef himself, which we didn't receive. ;-) We'll definitely be back.

At the Ristorante-Pizzeria Porto Vecchio in the Rosengarten, the cuisine is solid, but without claiming to offer lasting surprises. The portions are certainly sufficient, but the prices are only partially convincing in relation to the quality offered. The main course was well prepared, albeit devoid of any culinary refinement – ​​a dish that fills you up but hardly inspires you. The salad was particularly disappointing: a simple combination of leaf lettuce with a few carrot shavings, sparsely and carelessly arranged, the dressing so small that it seemed bland. This is simply too little for a restaurant. Overall, the visit remains mediocre: by no means a failure, but equally unable to leave a lasting impression. A place that nourishes without seducing – respectable, but not memorable.

Despite a spontaneous reservation request, we still managed to get a table for the same day. The service was excellent, very courteous, and friendly! The food was delicious. We were very impressed and will definitely be back.

This restaurant is very good! You can make reservations for two or more people. Although you can also take food to go if you're full.

What can I say, it was our first time there and we ordered two pizzas (Diavolo, Tonno) to take away. We were both impressed by the restaurant and the beer garden and were given a warm welcome by the landlord, who even left the kitchen open so we could try the pizza since it was already quite late. When we got home and tried the pizzas, the landlord kept all his promises. The dough was divine and the quality and quantity of the ingredients were outstanding. We will definitely be back, but this time to enjoy a leisurely meal in the beer garden. A real insider tip and an absolute recommendation for any lover of traditional Italian cuisine.

Frozen pizza! Overpriced! Gorgonzola pasta for 17 euros, and that's for a child's portion! It's too overpriced for what you get in the end! We found a hair in the pasta and immediately politely spoke to the owner. He wasn't happy about it, and instead of changing the plate, he immediately started looking for excuses, saying the hair wasn't theirs, without even looking at it! I really can't understand the good reviews! Never again!!!!!!

This evening we were at Porto Vecchio again and, after the grilled pepperoni starter, had two portions of the grilled salmon with spaghetti aglio e olio e peperoncino. As always, everything was excellent, including the tiramisu for dessert. We also appreciated the friendly service and would be happy to return.

We were persuaded by the many positive reviews and ate here – according to reviews, it's one of the best restaurants in Frankenthal (it even ranks first on TripAdvisor). The service was very good, and the owner was also very friendly. For starters, we had grilled pointed peppers in a sour cream sauce with homemade bread. It tasted absolutely fantastic, but at €19 per portion, it was truly outrageous. I don't know how this price is justified... I had pasta with salmon sauce. The pasta was overcooked, you had to look for the salmon with a magnifying glass (despite the price of over €20), and unfortunately, it didn't taste very good. My colleague had a pizza, another colleague had baked pasta, and neither of us particularly enjoyed it. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it, despite the really good service and delicious starter.

It was very warm today so we decided to eat outside. The parasols provided shade and the running water felt like a holiday 😉 The service staff were very friendly and attentive. We liked the food, but that depends on the individual. Some people like it, others less 🤷‍♂️ We'll be back 👍

The atmosphere right next to the rose garden makes the whole thing even more atmospheric. A place where you immediately feel comfortable and enjoy staying. While searching for an Italian restaurant, we found this restaurant through a Google Maps search and made a reservation online, which turned out to be completely hassle-free. Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arriving on time, we were greeted very warmly. The service is very, very attentive and courteous, and everyone is treated as equals. The friendliness is genuine and not forced – quite unlike many standard, formulaic Italian restaurants. The Selection ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The menu is clear and not overly elaborate, yet there's sure to be something for every taste. You should definitely also check the blackboards, which offer dishes that aren't on the menu. The Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Freshly cooked food is available here! You certainly won't find reheated sauces or yesterday's salads here. Speaking of salad: The dressing is excellent, and you won't find just the cheap Lollo Rosso like at many restaurants. The pizza: It looks very good, and it tasted just as good! I was able to enjoy an excellent saltimbocca with delicious fries. Unfortunately, I forgot—again—to take a photo of the starter recommended by the owner. I would like to take this opportunity to explicitly thank him for this recommendation. The bread served with the starter is absolutely amazing and super delicious. My dessert—tiramisu—melted like a soft cloud on my tongue... The prices: Considering that this restaurant places great emphasis on fresh, high-quality food, the price/performance ratio is absolutely justified. If you want to eat cheap, just order delivery! The service was first class, the staff friendly and attentive. You immediately feel comfortable and well looked after here. A real gem for lovers of delicious cuisine - I'll definitely be back!

Space at the door>We were there with a dog (dachshund mix)>Heating wasn't on. The chef's recommendation was recommended to us. Well, starter plate for two (outrageous) Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (overcooked) Cannelloni (unidentifiable filling, tasteless sauce, ready-made pasta!) Because of where we were sitting we heard the staff phone call, which we thought was pretty good! The starter plate for two for 17 euros was a disgrace! Pictures to follow! We said for 2 people! Noodles were overcooked to mush! Sauces tasteless with no kick or good seasoning! Tiramisu>Homemade...strange interpretation! For 100 euros I expect quality!! When you go out to eat. Conclusion > Price/performance ratio is not right! Why didn't we say something straight away? Because we were shocked! 1 person had gastrointestinal upset for 2 days afterwards! Really good Italian food is different! We're definitely not coming back! We are happy to accept the stay-at-home ban! P.S. there were only 2 tables occupied that day! Are you assuming intent? Seul bémol..Il n'y a qu'une pièce de boeuf sur la carte et j'ai vite compris pourquoi... Mon mari et sa maman ont pris du porc ( excellent) Or la maîtrise d'un filet de bœuf nécessite un peu de professionnalisme. J'ai demandé medium ( donc à point) , on me l'a servi cru à l'intérieur. On m'a pris ma pièce de viande ( qui a du être lavé pour être reprise car elle était servi dans la sauce...) pour être resservie cuite à fond...A la fin, elle était dure comme une semelle, c'est le chien qui s'est régalé. Avec un plat dépassant largement les 30 euros c'est juste inadmissible. Une faute professionnelle

Rarely have we eaten sooooo well and felt so good. But from the beginning. I had reserved 12 places for my Christmas party there. We sat in the next room. We ordered a la carte and I had previously discussed that we would order drinks first, then there would be an official part and only then would we order the food. We never had to wait long for our drinks and even though there were 12 of us with different food, everything came at the same time and quite quickly. Very nice owner-run Italian restaurant. Staff nice and very attentive. Although there were 50 people present at a gesellschaft.it at the time of our visit, we were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. There is a small elevator available for wheelchair users or people with a walker, which helps them climb the stairs (3 or 4) to the restaurant. Food good and prices adjusted.

“Unfortunately the prices are very high and many things have to be paid extra, such as herb butter (€1.50), bread (€2), ketchup (€0.60) and parmesan (€1). This adds up quickly and reduces the price-performance ratio for me. The food tasted good, but these additional costs take some of the joy out of the visit.”

A restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, definitely not a simple pizzeria. You sit comfortably with enough space in a quiet environment. The range of food on offer is good and it is not a mass offering, but rather selected dishes in an appropriate number. The map also includes current offers that cannot be found on the map. The staff is consistently very friendly, attentive and seemed very personable to us. With the dishes we chose there was a lot of light but unfortunately also some shadow. In my opinion, the rump steaks offered were not successful. The quality of the meat was absolutely fine, there is nothing to criticize about it. But the preparation was anything but a rump steak. The meat was cut way too thin (maybe 1 finger thick) and unfortunately wasn't seared well either, so it hardly developed any flavor. Unfortunately I have to mention this point of criticism. Otherwise we were very satisfied and the prices are okay overall. We will definitely eat there again, it doesn't have to be steak.

After the renovation and closure due to Corona, we were here again today for the first time. The ambience of the restaurant is very appealing. Cozy, very friendly service, excellent food, as usual.

Very good food. Wine list leaves room for improvement. We went for dinner on a lovely summer evening, sitting on the roofed terrace. My son and I, with his kids (5 and 10). The Carpaccio was classic, so was the Mozzarella Caprese. They had a lasagne on special - unfortunately seems not to be part of the normal menu, but is highly recommended. Kids had pizza and Pasta, which was really good as well. Only point to be criticised: no credit cards. We were told that the fee of more than 4% plus VAT was too high. Well, Visa only charges below 1% and VAT is deductible... My tip would have by far exceeded the possible costs of the credit card company. Too bad for them.

We love being there, so far it has always been very tasty 😋

Today we were in Porto Vecchio for the first time. There were three of us there and we had rump steak, grilled salmon with spaghetti, and a baby calamari plate with spaghetti. Each menu came with a salad as a starter. The food was delivered very quickly. Waiting time was about 15-20 minutes. The food was very tasty. The owner of the restaurant was super nice and friendly as well as helpful. The location was also very nice, pleasant and clean. We felt very comfortable and will definitely stop by more often and try out the other dishes too 😊. A big thank you from our side to the boss. Everything was perfect 👍🙏.

We celebrated a family celebration here with around 40 people. The communication in advance was very pleasant. On the day itself everything went smoothly. The team was very friendly and the service was perfect. The food was excellent. Our guests were very satisfied and felt completely comfortable. We would like to thank the entire team for allowing us to spend a wonderful day here. We would like to come again!

It was an exceptional dining experience at the porto vecchio restaurant! The food quality was really good, the food was great and we really enjoyed it. But what really made the evening special was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. We felt pampered from start to finish, the service was impeccable. We can't wait to come back.

Comfortably furnished, friendly staff and good food. We had the Albanian specialty, Skenderbag with croquettes and salad. The Balkan-style sauce served with it was really tasty. Even though we were there late at lunchtime, we were served in a friendly and unhurried manner. Highly recommended, especially on the terrace on summer days.

Very tasty food. We had pasta, meat and fish dishes and it was all very, very good. We will definitely visit again!
