Ristorante Pizzeria Pinocchio in Bad Füssing

Yesterday was our third visit to this restaurant after the thermal baths. All three times we arrived around 9 pm (yesterday at 10:00 am), a little later, but the kitchen was still open (we even asked). The food is really good, but the waiter is so unfriendly that we won't be going back. Perhaps they should just close at 9 pm if the waiter doesn't want to serve any more customers, but treating paying customers like that is outrageous. ☺️

The pizzas are highly recommended. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The only minor drawback is the building itself; it doesn't really have the charm of a traditional log cabin. But that's something you can easily overlook.

Unfortunately, the prices have increased dramatically. The food and staff are good.

It's worth a visit. The food was great. Drink prices were slightly high; a 0.4l Coke cost €4.60. Unfortunately, the premises are a bit chilly, and the place is reminiscent of an allotment garden.

Very good pizza. Large portions and excellent taste. With a generous salad as a starter, we were more than satisfied. Be prepared to wait about half an hour for the pizza after ordering. Reservations are recommended. Update: After initially giving a good review, we have to revise it after our last visit. Instead of ordering a spritzer, which often has very little fruit content depending on the brand, we received flavored water. And instead of a lemonade with a strong shot of beer, we got a shandy. I hope things will improve in the future. The pizza and large salads were, as always, very good and filling.

Outdated decor, garden shed style. We had the bruschetta special as a starter. It was good and we both enjoyed it. For our main course, we had the fried callamari with remoulade and salad. The callamari were too dark on the outside and had a very soft texture, the remoulade came from a tube, the salad was acceptable and had a reasonably good dressing. At a price of over €20 per main course, we can't rate the food higher than 3 stars. The service was friendly and attentive; no complaints there.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today. In our opinion, the cheese on the pizza was inedible, with a very strong, distinctive flavor. The pizza bread was also very greasy, for some reason. We do not recommend it.

A nice, small, and cozy pizzeria where we had a very good pizza for lunch today. You can also pre-order takeout, which we did a few days ago. It's best to check out the restaurant's menu online; there's sure to be something for everyone. We'll definitely be back...

We were lucky and got a table without a reservation. Reservations are highly recommended – they had to turn away many guests. We had delicious pizza and a fantastic Aperol Spritz. The service was attentive and courteous. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We ate here for lunch for the first time during the week. The lunch special, with a small side salad to accompany pizza and pasta, is very attractively priced, and the place filled up quickly. The prices on the regular menu are also rather low for Füssing. We had bruschetta as a starter, and pizza prosciutto and pizza frutti di mare. It was delicious, and the service was pleasant. You can definitely do it.

Today, eight of us went to Pinocchio for lunch, and we all agree that this won't be our last visit. The food was delicious, and the drinks selection was decent—unfortunately, they don't offer rosé wine. The service staff were very friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect.

Here, the customer truly is king. Perfect service, perfect food with just the right flavor. We felt like we were on an Italian vacation, like we were at home. We went to Pinocchio because of the good reviews and had a really nice evening. We had the Pinocchio pizza, the Pizza Diana, and the Pinocchio salad, and it was delicious. And the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

The pizza pictured wasn't crispy to begin with, but the re-cooking was still not good. The cheese was wrongly chosen. The seafood was mostly mussels. A squid ring, a few mini shrimp. But mussels in their shells are an absolute no-go! Are they supposed to be eaten? I don't recommend this pizza.

Great food. We had a pizza and pasta al arrabiata. The pizza dough was probably the best I've ever had. Normally, the boring crust is a no-brainer, but here everything is delicious. The pasta was also great – nice and spicy, but not too spicy, and, most importantly, just enough of the delicious sauce. It was so perfect that we had the same thing again a week later. Now my favorite pizzeria is 60 km from home...

The food is good, but I didn't get what I ordered with my first drink order. I had to get the correct one myself. When I gave the table number where we were seated, they had put the orders on a different table number, which caused a problem with the checkout. It was eventually resolved, but they're making things difficult for themselves. The taste of the food made up for everything.

Difficult place! The food is okay, although the pizza dough must be a pre-made base. We had 2 pizzas, and they were all absolutely the same shape and size. The taste was a bit too salty. Drinks: Anything from the bottle is fine. The Aperol Spritz must be a pre-made mix. Not a real Aperol! Service: Deplorable! Unfriendly waiters. Pizzas meant to be taken away are left on the plates, and the other plates are stacked on top! Absolutely unhygienic. Then the pizzas are wrapped in aluminum foil (but not completely wrapped - the top was still open!) and placed upside down on the guest's table. Then the oil ran down the foil - you turned the aluminum foil/pizza over and saw that it wasn't completely wrapped. Since there was contact with the open table, the pizza was returned – it was absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic. No apologies – no discounts – the service was a complete disaster. Probably none of the service staff had any training in the restaurant industry! We definitely won't be coming back!!

Yes, the food is delicious and there's a wide selection. Be sure to reserve a table. Parking is available right next to the terrace, and there's a larger parking lot nearby, all free of charge. It's great that the restaurant has a mini-golf course. Kids can keep themselves busy there while parents relax with an aperitif. The terrace is beautifully lit in the evening, making it look inviting even from afar.

Excellent pizzas for lunch with a small salad at a very decent price-performance ratio. Drinks are relatively expensive. Nice outdoor seating in good weather. The staff is very friendly, and the food comes very quickly. Highly recommended. August 2025: Everything was still as described. We'd be happy to go back!

I was told I could pick it up in half an hour. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes. The pizza wasn't bad. Just average. It was a good meal. The pizza I picked up wasn't sliced, though! That was a bit annoying.

Pickup pizza 🍕 salami. The worst pizza I've ever eaten. Never again. It was dry. I thought it tasted like it had been warmed up. I'm used to other, much better, pizzas.

We were only there to play mini golf. Two adults and one 17-year-old paid €11. The price isn't justified given the poor condition of the course. There are only nine holes, and they're very uneven. The pond, where the fish live, is in danger of tipping over because the liner is damaged. The restroom windows were blocked, and the masses of air fresheners masked the smells, but it was still very unpleasant. We didn't want to eat anything there. They're trying very hard, but a lot still needs to be done to award more stars. It's a shame.

We've had much better food...not good value for money...I ordered a vegetable soup, but I got a tomato soup that I thought was made with canned tomato sauce...my husband had a mixed grill that wasn't what he expected. The fries were almost cold and not great...I can't recommend it for the money...everyone has to work long hours to get food...there's still a lot of room for improvement...

Whenever we vacation in Füssing, we come to this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were ALL disappointed with the food this time. The pizza doesn't taste as good as it did a year ago. Hard and difficult to cut. What a shame!!!

We had pizza...it was extremely delicious...even the crust was perfectly edible. There was an extra sharp knife/pizza knife on the plate, so it was easy to cut. The service was very nice and friendly. The kitchen is open 24/7. We would come back anytime. We were back after 5 days and were once again very satisfied with the food (1 pizza, 1 pasta) and the service.

Unfortunately, the food was typed incorrectly and was then served lukewarm. Our starter “antipasti” was grilled but unfortunately ice cold and fresh from the refrigerator. Small but mighty. We were very surprised when we saw the little hut and almost wanted to leave. The atmosphere inside and the service were absolutely great. We decided on a pizza and baked goods. It was actually really tasty. Will definitely come back on our next visit🥳👍🏼.

A catastrophe. Have never experienced such an unfriendly young waiter. We were happy to go back without drinking or eating! Out of We will never visit the restaurant again. And I would also like to recommend this to every guest: give the restaurant a wide berth!

We ate at Pinocchio again today, this time with friends and were all very enthusiastic about the food, the beautiful terrace and the friendly service. We have been coming to this restaurant on vacation several times a year since it opened and can recommend it without reservation. Keep it up, you're just great. Today (April 28th) we went to our favorite pizzeria again and it was again incredibly tasty and great value for money. Today we had spaghetti puttanesca and Hawaiian pizza, simply delicious.

You can't get better pizza even in Italy! The Tagliatelle Verdure are also a dream. Good wine and attentive service. Highly recommended!

Nice service and good food and drink

Ordered for pickup on Friday. Were quick and friendly. Pizza according to the others was good. But instead of 2x risotto we got 2x pasta, which as a vegetarian I couldn't eat because there was ham in it. And according to others, the taste is not that good. I let them know by phone and they apologized and offered to pick up a replacement, which we declined because it was so far away. The noodle dishes also look less classically Italian and more like German ham noodles. If we eat there again because of the good pizza, I would like to try something else. And if necessary, adjust the rating. (Addendum: that was on April 4th, 2025 in the evening shortly after 5 p.m. and my children ate the noodles the next day and thought they were good, so now one more star)

Went there for dinner based on the good reviews online. The restaurant was already fully occupied or reserved at 6 p.m. and that was during the week. Just got 2 places. The friendly service was sorry to have to cancel several other guests. 2 young, friendly male conditions ran the whole place. Taking orders, serving them, handling street sales, collecting cash and keeping a close eye on the guests...respect for that. The food was super tasty, especially hot, which is how I love it, and it came quickly, despite the full house. Highly recommended.....keep it up. We will come back to try it out on our next visit. 02/13/2025......the time has come...we ate there again. It is still highly recommended. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and very attentive. We ate there on a Thursday and were able to conclude from conversations with other guests that the pizzeria obviously has a lot of regulars and that's a good sign. We'll stick with it and come back in the fall......keep it up👍🙋

Not overly motivated but nice. “It takes half an hour” - I don’t care. Better than starvation. The driver calls shortly beforehand and can't find me straight away. Still tip (around that time) pizza box doesn't feel very hot. Oh dear... open it quickly: AMAZING!!! I don't defrost my eyes: 3 mussels shine at me as well as various (high-quality) seafood. Perfectly balanced. Dough. Floor. Edge. Cheese. Tonatas. INCREDIBLE!!! It's been a long time since I've eaten such great Frutti di Mare. How does he do that? 6 stars!!! GRACE. Be sure to test it yourself and enjoy!!!!

We have been customers there for a long time and unfortunately we were disappointed for the first time. The olives were missing on the pizza (3 ingredients = tuna, olives, capers). At first we thought it was a cordon blue on the schnitzel because it was so thick. Unfortunately, the thickness made it seem tough and it was very stringy. The starter plate with the antipasti was too cold for us. This causes the flavors to be lost. However, the prices are very fair for the pizzas. We really hope that the performance will improve again and we will come back

We ate at the Pizzeria Pinocchio. When I arrived at the parking lot I was already thinking where did I get to? From the outside it looks like an old clubhouse. Okay, I thought, maybe it's better inside and the food is great. Unfortunately not. It was very cold in the restaurant and not exactly clean either. As far as the food is concerned, I have to say that the portions are quite large. I had tortellini with ham cream sauce that was totally over salted. My wife had spaghetti with scampi that was absolutely soggy. Briefly summarized. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. Never again.

Went there for dinner yesterday and since they have a small restaurant they still had room for two at 6 p.m. The food was very tasty, but we waited almost 1.5 hours for our pizza.

It used to be good, today it's a complete disaster! Vinegar in salad is not edible, far too acidic, so acidic that it burns your mouth. Pizza dry and burnt. Food comes every 10 to 15 minutes for each person, which means eating together is impossible! That alone is a no-go! Why has things gotten so bad here? We're definitely not coming back.
