Ristorante Pizzeria Nuovo Portofino in Schwalmstadt

We were in transit and everything looked very promising. Ambience was quite okay. The service was also quite quick for us and the food came to the table quickly. But that was all. The tagliatelle and my partner's were swimming in the sauce right up to the edge of the plate. It was unappetizingly prepared and unfortunately it tasted like some ready-made sauce from a bucket. We were no longer asked for new drinks, which were already empty by the time we ate. All in all, all very unprofessional. I then lay awake half the night because I kept burping up the sauce.

We have been here many times but have never eaten pizza here. Went here again recently and finally wanted to try pizza. Sat on the terrace, the waitress seemed annoyed. But I definitely won't eat pizza here again. It was nothing. The edge is hard, the rest is dry. They're much better elsewhere.

We went there one evening, there were a lot of wasps on the terrace which partly spoiled our stay. The dishes served were appreciated by the guests...

Food very good - salads absolutely great - service - great. Clear recommendation. The important thing is - the restaurant is right opposite the train station and that's practical - if you get a little hungry after a long train journey and value quality - the prices are also very fair.

Great food but should clean outside then 5 stars

Unfortunately, outside on the terrace you can see the dirty, torn fly screens to the kitchen. The gnocci were drowned in cream sauce and the pizza was average at best. Service was friendly but unfortunately not very professional.

There were a lot of wasps outside, the inside of the restaurant was unoccupied, all tables were free, and when asked politely they were not allowed inside. There was no insight from the staff, so no recommendation. Too bad.

Different sized portions of the same dish. Taste okay. The staff seemed annoyed and had to ask for something to drink and dessert. We left a lot of money there but weren't even offered schnapps or coffee. We were practically swept out at 9:30 p.m. Not again so soon.

Were there with a larger group at the weekend. The food was mediocre for the price. The service seemed annoyed and we had to keep asking for drinks, not good service for a restaurant! In the end we were told at 9.30 p.m. that we were now cashing in and we couldn't order anything anymore... There wasn't even a schnapps on the house with the sales we had. Definitely the last time we were there.

Ate very well, everything was fine.

Had a pizza "Treysa" today, base good, sauce good, toppings good, except for the asparagus topping, which was poor... See picture. Otherwise very friendly service

Hello and good evening, we wanted to order a nice pizza from you this evening. When we ordered a calzone and a four seasons from you, the waitress asked us so much whether we could even read the menu. These two wouldn't be on the card at all. I would advise you to dismiss this waitress who works with you without notice and we, as mostly regular guests, will no longer come to your place. A shop like that that you can forget.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, toller Srvice. Sehr gutes Essen, Kinderpizza auch auf Wunsch für einen Erwachsenen. Wir waren schon das 2. Mal im Urlaub dort. Gerne wieder.

Wir kommen sehr gerne hierher. Nette, familiäre Atmosphäre. Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und sind sehr lecker. Schön ist es, wenn man im Sommer auf der Terrasse sitzen kann. :)
