Ristorante Pizzeria Luise in Königswinter

My favorite place for pizza in Königswinter's old town. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We visited there twice within a week. Food: Very good and lovingly prepared food. You can taste Bella Italia here 🌞 I absolutely love the house-made limoncello. Not even Lake Garda can boast such a delicacy. We were also very satisfied with the service. Very empathetic and authentic. We would love to come back. Greetings from Augsburg 👍👍👍👍👍

Far too expensive for what's on offer. No homemade pasta. Spaghetti carbonara with cream (a real Italian would turn in his grave). Tagliatelle with smoked salmon (fresher would be too expensive?). Portion sizes are manageable. Wine 0.1 liter €6.80. Cheeky!

Exquisite service, delicious food and spectacular area

A very authentic, small but fine restaurant. It was very busy, but the staff weren't stressed and took the time to listen to the children. The pizzas are, as you would expect from Italy, nice and thin and truly delicious. Special topping requests were accommodated, and questions about the various pasta sauces were answered immediately, so there was no need to ask the kitchen, as is often the case. The homemade gnocchi were the best I've ever tasted. It's worth a visit; the price-performance ratio is also absolutely fair.

We went there twice over the weekend with a group of six. Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Fast service and excellent food. I would go back to Königswinter anytime for that.

We were staying for a few days in Königswinter and had the possibility to visit few different restarurants during those days. I must say that this restaurant was by far the best we've visited. From the relaxed atmosphere, the polite and welcoming staff, to the fantastic versatile and delicious food, and all that for a fair and affordable price. So if you are in Königswinter and you're looking for a nice restaurant with great food, this is the place you want to visit.

We ate here for lunch. Great service, a pleasant atmosphere, and my tagliatelle pasta with fresh chanterelles was delicious. We'd gladly go back.

A very nice restaurant with a great menu and a very pleasant atmosphere. We had the sole and the tagliatelle al salmone. Both were excellent and very tasty. The food was accompanied by very friendly and attentive service and a very suitable red and white wine. We highly recommend this restaurant. Anyone looking for a nice dinner in Königswinter should visit this restaurant.

It's a real shame! They took too long to take our order; they ignored us. We had to wait an hour and five minutes for our food. Then they brought two dishes and left the third diner waiting. They brought the payment terminal before bringing the bill, and they charged for a drink we didn't consume. Yes, it's true that in the end we said the bill was fine because we were late getting home, and the bad experience was enough to keep wasting time.

We were there on May 1st, 2025. My wife had a pizza with arugula and absolutely loved it. As you would expect from a real Italian restaurant, very tasty thin dough, crispy edges and delicious toppings. I had tagliatelle with mushrooms and cream sauce - very tasty! The ambience could still be improved here and there.

Excellent hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in Königswinter. Reservations are strongly recommended. Be prepared for a noisy meal, the old walls trap all the sounds.

Yesterday I ate spaghetti carbonara in the Louise restaurant, which was really tasty, but today I actually wanted to go to Phantasialand. Unfortunately, during the night I suddenly developed severe symptoms of food poisoning, probably even salmonella. The unpleasant symptoms have plagued me ever since. I would therefore like to draw attention to this.

Very tasty pizza and nice service :)

We were there on Easter Sunday and the restaurant was well attended. The seating is very tight, which makes it quite loud. Unfortunately we had to wait an incredibly long time for the food. Regarding the quality and price-performance ratio: the Vitello Tonnato at a price of €14 was a bit low in quantity (unfortunately I didn't take a photo, but there were about 4 small, wafer-thin slices of meat on a plate of 20x10cm), the quality was ok (thin meat in a sauce that tasted more like mayonnaise than tuna). Unfortunately, the side salad wasn't very Italian: the salad dressing was sour and bland, in Italy it usually consists of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The pizzas were swimming in oil; The Diavolo pizza can be spicy - but here it is almost inedibly spicy. And the (wafer-thin) saltimboca swam in an indefinable brown sauce made of salt and flavor enhancers that would make every Italian's hair stand on end. We give the points for the very friendly, attentive service (despite the long waiting time).

When my girlfriend and I went to the Drachenfelsen for the first time, we were looking for a place to eat something in the evening and found it here. What can I say? We returned soon after - but actually mostly for the food. The Drachenfels was just a side attraction. In our opinion the best and most authentic Italian food - both pasta and pizza - that we have ever eaten. In addition, the service is very courteous and the ambience is very well done. If you consider all of this, the prices are incredibly cheap. I can wholeheartedly recommend anyone who ends up in Königswinter to go to Ristorante & Pizzeria Luise. You definitely won't regret it!

Spontaneous visit on Friday evening, what can I say, made 4 people happy. Great service, delicious, authentic Italian food, whether pizza, pasta or fish...delicious!!! Originally we wanted to eat at the Hotel on Saturday evening...we ended up back at Luise's and were thrilled again...if I head to Königswinter again, I know where we're going to eat...keep it up!!!!

Should be over in 15 minutes. When I was there I was only waited for 5 minutes leave and ignored then I was told to come back in 5 minutes the pizza was in the oven after I came back 3 times with a waiting time of 45 minutes I got my “pizza” the 3rd time a swimming pool pizza for 11 .50€. Not recommended

I was passing through Frankfurt and discovered this restaurant by chance. Hunger drove us in. My friend had lasagne and said it was the best he had eaten. I had pizza with ham, onions and pepperoni. Unfortunately the pepperoni was a bit too spicy but the rest was incredibly delicious. The dough wasn't at all mushy like many other Italians. I have my favorite Italian restaurant in Nuremberg, but I have to admit, this pizza topped any other pizza I had eaten. Except for the pepperoni 😅 they could have been milder. A top restaurant with friendly service. For us it was also nice and romantic and affordable.

The food was good. But the portion (was a mix of 3 dishes) was really small. They also charged me 3 euros "extra" and I don't know what was.

TOP!!!! Top chef, top service! The bread was brought without asking. The sauce is strong with the veal schnitzel and the fries are crispy and hot. The dough of the pizza fantastic, good size of pizzas. Even the broccoli that was on the plate alongside the fries and veal schnitzel was extremely tender and tasty!!! There was even an argument about it at the end ;P The staff is young and courteous and well managed! This on a Sunday🤩 So all in all 10 out of 10* stars!!!

For me one of the best, if not the best Italian in the area. The food is always very tasty, the staff is friendly and the P/L ratio is also great. Due to the renovation some time ago, the ambience has become significantly more modern, but without losing its charm. We have ordered and picked up many times, always without any problems. Overall, absolutely recommended!

Fantastic food and very courteous and friendly service. It was like being part of the family, the monkfish on the daily menu was excellent. Before the meal we had Prosecco and with the meal we had Pinot Grigio. Afterwards there was grappa, without any further questions there was excellent quality and an overall fantastic experience, characterized by friends and family, as well as the courteous service and extraordinary cuisine.

Ristorante Luise is now our regular Italian restaurant, which we discovered by chance while taking a walk in Königswinter. A great restaurant with a delicious selection of authentic Italian dishes that everyone can find, including vegetarians. The service is warm, the food is delicious and the atmosphere in the old half-timbered house is very cozy. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I visited the Italian restaurant and was very disappointed. The waiters' tone was unprofessional and they appeared to have received no customer service training. Even though I was the first to arrive without a reservation, I was told there was no table available. Shortly afterwards a group also came without a reservation and was served immediately, which I found very disrespectful. The pizza was OK, but the poor service really spoiled the overall impression. I hope the management takes this criticism seriously and improves the service through appropriate training. Best regards, Toprak

Nice little Italian restaurant with very good food and very friendly service.

We spent four days in Königswinter, including two evenings with eleven people at Ristorante Luise. We had five children aged 3-10 with us and were given a very warm welcome. Dishes that were not on the menu (Napoli and Bolognese) were prepared for the children upon request! Great! On the second evening the waiter (the owner's son) still knew what we had ordered two days before. You can see the passion for the cause! A great family business with classic, extremely delicious dishes! From scallops to pasta, salmon with asparagus, pizza, freshly whipped zabaglione and tiramisu, everything was there during our visits! No dish a disappointment! We can definitely recommend the restaurant and will come back next time we stop in Königswinter! Thank you for the lovely evenings!

We were there as a family and received friendly service. There were smaller portions for the kids. Had caprese, tortellini and rigatoni al forno. The dessert was super tasty. The tiramisu is freshly prepared. Overall we really liked it.

5/5 I'm a regular. Authentic Italian food :) No pasta with broccoli or chicken as you would otherwise find at other "Italians". Great ambience - Italian radio is playing in the background and you can tell the owners simply have an eye for aesthetics... (Italians just ;)) The restaurant is nice! Great food - price and performance match and ingredients always taste fresh... no flavor/spice is overpowering. One of the few restaurants in the area where true gastronomy is practiced.

The waiter leaves a lot to be desired. We wanted to have pizza with a friend and he arrogantly said that there was no table available and if we found one he would take the order. We waited for a table to become available and then this clown said that the table was already reserved. Listen buddy, firstly it's your job to get us a table without discussion and secondly I regret that I didn't grab you in the face and take you to the boss - maybe you'd wake up from your dreams, you narcissist .

For several decades it has been number 1 in the Rhein Sieg district when it comes to Italian cuisine. The Luise family is a brand in itself. It's nice that you exist guys

Very courteous service and the food was really very good. The restaurant is very cozy and inviting.

We were there with our 6 year old son. When asked about a children's portion, they said it was no problem. He got a mini portion of about 10 gnocchi, unfortunately my normal portion was also so small that it was more of an appetizer. We then paid €11 for the “children’s portion”, which is well over half. The bill was a good €50 and we left the restaurant hungry.

The perfect Italian! Bruschetta original with very tasty olive oil, garlic, tomato and basil. The pizzas are huge and very tasty, especially the sauce! Teramisu and chocolate soufflé are the crowning dessert which we can highly recommend! Clear recommendation!

I was at Luise last night and I was absolutely thrilled. The shop was completely full, but I was quickly assigned a table. I chose a pizza vegetariana with a glass of rosé. The pizza was huge and generously filled. Even though I was almost bursting, I decided on the homemade tiramisu, luckily! Because that too was simply delicious. The service was really quick, despite being at full capacity. I got everything within minutes, the pizza was hot, the wine and dessert perfectly cold. The waiters had everything in view. It seemed like it was easy to get all the tables happy. Everything was clean and tidy, including the toilets. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and, because there are several rooms, you don't sit close to each other at the next table. Thank you very much for this really nice evening that I was able to enjoy with you! Absolute recommendation!
