Delicious food, something for everyone. NB! Large portions. A bit uncomfortable inside. Relax on the terrace. We ate here 4 times out of the 5 days we were in Schweich.

Once again a very nice evening with great food and nice service... Always happy 😊

We were looking for an Italian restaurant near Longuich and found this one via Maps and were really happy about it afterwards. At the entrance we were greeted very warmly by the boss and we decided on a table outside as luckily the weather cooperated. We each ordered a pizza. We got a super tasty item the size of a wagon wheel for a comparatively small price. We will definitely come back here in 5 weeks when the next course is scheduled in the area. I can only recommend the shop, just because of the pizzas. Appetizers, pasta and many other dishes were still on the menu, so we'll try something out next time we visit.

For me it's clearly the best pizzeria in Schweich. Nice atmosphere, in summer you can sit on the terrace. Very good and friendly service, you immediately feel welcome. The pizza is a clear 10/10 just the way I love it. The only thing that could be improved is the wine. But we had already told the boss that personally ;) A very clear recommendation from me! I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Well I have to honestly say, I've been to many countries. In many places in Germany, and the food was nowhere near as good as in Schweich near Trier on the Moselle. This Ristorant LA FONTANA Pizzeria is amazing. People, you have to go there. The whole staff was very friendly. Like pure service. And that's not an exaggeration. It just tastes amazing, no matter what kind of food you eat and it's so much that you can't even pack it even though it tastes very, very good

The restaurant and the outdoor area are clean and well maintained. In winter you sit inside in a cozy atmosphere and in summer you can enjoy food on the terrace. The tables are always beautifully set. The employees are friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food is great, especially the meat dishes that we often eat there such as steak or cordon bleu, etc. We have been regular guests for years and can only recommend the restaurant!

After reading the menu online, we went there to eat. Surprise when you look at the menu on site, rump steak €7!!! more expensive than on the online menu and the fish dish was €6 more expensive. We paid for our drinks and decided not to eat there because that sort of thing is anything but hospitable. I explained our decision to the boss, but he became extremely cheeky and literally attacked me verbally: It wouldn't be right with the price increase (you could see it in black and white), I should buy my rump steak at Aldi and fry it myself, etc. Very unqualified and a no go for a restaurateur.

Last night we had dinner at La Fontana again. There were four of us and we decided to do it relatively quickly. A reservation request by email was answered very quickly. Our table in the next room (where the pizza oven is) was assigned to us as requested. The reception was very friendly. The selection of dishes is very large and special requests are also fulfilled. We had pizza three times, penne with gorgonzola walnut once and an appetizer to share. The food was very tasty and spicy. Again and again you are asked in a friendly manner if everything is ok and if there is still a wish...not intrusively!! We paid at the counter because we wanted to pay by card. There we got a digestif on the house as requested! We were given a friendly farewell and we would love to come back! Many thanks to the whole team! LG Siggi and friends.

Diverse dagen heerlijk gegeten met volwassenen en kinderen. Was om te smullen... Pizza, schnitzel, scaloppine, pasta's... Goede bediening en niet opdringerig. Een plek om vaker te eten.

Taste can be argued over. The pizza didn't hit mine and my wife's. Although they were large, they were occupied sporadically. The service was a disappointment for us. All the employees were annoyed and even the forced small talk when paying couldn't make up for it. Our children's fresh pasta was probably out of the bag and in general we were ultimately annoyed by the long wait of over an hour for our food, as one meal after the other passed us by despite there being little activity. We suspect that, as some have already written, the regular customers are given preferential treatment and the walk-in customers are put at the back. However, every new customer could also become a regular customer, right? Oh well. We won't. Regarding the ambience, I can advise anyone who comes here to ask for another seat if you are seated at the pizza oven. Something squeaked every 5 minutes that made your hair stand on end. For us it's just a visit. However, I'm already looking forward to reading the extremely nice response to my review, which the owner has often given here.

The food was very tasty and I think the prices are absolutely fair! The menu is well sorted and everyone loved the homemade pasta. You should definitely try the onion soup!

La Fontana not only offers a very nice atmosphere but also great service! The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. The food is simply fabulous. Top price-performance ratio!! We can only recommend it.

My experience at La Fontana Pizzeria was extremely disappointing. The lettuce was wilted, the yogurt sauce seemed to come straight from a large bucket, and the pizza and all other dishes were tasteless and carelessly prepared. The staff was beyond unfriendly and seemed to lose all interest in customer satisfaction. The interior was more reminiscent of a carelessly designed swimming pool snack bar than of a cozy restaurant. In addition, the toilet was disgustingly dirty and neglected, which further worsened an already disappointing experience. It is unfortunate that Pizzeria La Fontana has disappointed so greatly not only in terms of its food and service, but also in terms of the cleanliness and hygiene of the establishment.

Unfortunately, the pizzeria has slacked off quite a bit: Service seems bored (at the same time not really attentive) and the young man's clothing was rather inappropriate. It looked as if he had been taken from the kitchen to help in the restaurant. Our pizzas had a thick base that became increasingly difficult to cut as it cooled. On the “Mare e Monti” there were significantly more mushrooms than seafood - and I still wonder to this day what surimi has to do with seafood and what they are looking for on a pizza. There wasn't a single caper on my husband's pizza - even though it was described as such on the menu. There was no hint or explanation about this either. No *further* questions about satisfaction when clearing the plates. :( The gentleman was obviously pleased with my “Okay.” It didn't seem to matter that our glasses were empty before dinner. The ambience was okay, at least the glass plates have been removed from the tables. 👍 We were happier here. Maybe the staff has the winter blues…

Very nice and fast service. Ambience was okay, but not comfortable. The three of us ordered a grill plate, unfortunately everything was very dry and the quality wasn't great. We ordered more sauce, which was better. At the end we got a cappuccino on the house...very nice! Maybe we would have done better with a pizza!?!? At over 30 euros, the grill plate was rather expensive for the performance.

Probably the worst pizzeria I've ever been to. I ordered a plate of Italian charcuterie as starter and then a pizza with paprika, salami and gorgonzola. When my starter arrived, they gave me a grilled vegetables plate. When I told them I ordered a charcuterie plate they angrily left and put it on the table, after having already given us our main courses. It was a plate of salami and ham, both of which came straight out of a budget pack in Lidl. Horrible. Pizza was bland and tasteless, service abhorrent, and temperature in the restaurant was about 27°C.

Were there for the first time with the leisure group, there are parking spaces there and in the surrounding area. Individual billing with so many guests worked very well. Drinks and food arrived promptly. Food was good and was consistently praised by the group, prices were relatively cheap compared to others. Clean toilets in the basement. We will come back.

Service mittelmäßig freundlich, Essen / Pizza schmeckte auch Mittelklasse, Atmosphäre fand ich neutral - kein hoher Wohlfühlcharakter auch seitens Personal, durch meine tolle Begleitung war das für mich allerdings zweitrangig. Bewerte ich nur die Pizzeria (wonach hier ja gefragt wird), würde ich nächstes Mal eine andere aufsuchen.

Pizza war schon mal besser, Schade.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben uns von den Rezensionen beeinflussen lassen. Bereits im Eingangsbereich war es nicht besonders ordentlich. Eigentlich hätten wir direkt umdrehen sollen, aber wir hatten Hunger. Die Bedienung hatte ein dreckiges Hemd an, das Restaurant war leer, aber wir hatten Hunger. Das Essen kam schnell, war aber eine Enttäuschung: Salat nicht frisch, Dressing sehr fad. Nudeln auch nicht besonders, wir hatten uns so auf hausgemachte Nudeln gefreut. Für das Geld war das „niente“!

Sehr lecker und ordentliche Portionen. Pizza, Nudeln und Salate haben sehr lecker geschmeckt. Preis Leistung passt dazu.

Superleckere Pizzen zu annehmbaren Preisen

Wir waren schon einige Male dort. Das Essen ist immer lecker, bis auf einmal, sind die Portionen auch immer ordentlich/fair. Die Preise sind mittlerweile etwas abgezogen worden aber noch ok. Die Kellner sind immer sehr nett. Wobei nicht jeder "italienisch typisch" nach dem gratis Absacker nach dem Essen beim Bezahlen fragt 😄 (was für mich auch keine Verpflichtung ist in einem Lokal). Was mich allerdings stört, ist das es keine Wickelmöglichkeiten für Kinder gibt und es auf den Toiletten immer ziemlich stinkt.

Bedienung sehr nett, Essen gut ... aber man könnte ggf. das Ambiente überdenken

Ich hatte eine Pizza Siciliana. Der Belag war gut. Der Teig war allerdings zu fest. Er ist überhaupt nicht aufgegangen. Nur am Rand haben sich Blasen gebildet. Kein guter Teig.

Das Essen ist super lecker. Wir gehen sehr gerne hin und lassen uns kulinarisch verwöhnen. Das Team und die Besitzer sind sehr nett und kinderfreundlich!

Heute Muscheln gegessen mit Pizzabrot 🥰 , ist sowieso immer lecker dort, aber heute besonders👍 großes sLob an die Küche

Essen ist wirklich gut! Pizza,Schnitzel,Steak Top Salat ein wenig klein wenn man richtig Hunger hat Service vollkommen in Ordnung und Lage auch ok! Durch aus eine gute und empfehlenswerte Pizzeria 😊

De bruschetta waren prima. Voor onze visschotel werd er een rechaud op tafel gezet, dat was zo smerig dat mijn eetlust nagenoeg verdween. De visschotel was oké, kwaliteit en prijskaartje niet in overeenstemming. Kan nog steeds op één hand tellen dat we geen fooi hebben gegeven, hier was het niet op z'n plaats.

Nette und aufmerksame Bedinung, Essen kam ziemlich zügig. Preise nicht überteuert. Toiletten sehr sauber. Immer wieder gerne kommen wir zu euch.

Das Essen war ganz Gut besonders die Pizza sehr lecker bis auf dem Beilagen Salat der sehr sauer war. Der Service war sehr schlecht, man hat sich alles andere als Willkommen gefühlt. Fast eine halbe Stunde darauf gewartet das die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Auf manche nachfragen wurde eher genervt reagiert. Ein tschüss und guten Tag wäre als Gastgeber angebracht. Ambiente war ganz schön man könnte sich nach draußen setzten sehr ruhig gelegen innen sah es auch sehr gemütlich aus.

Wir waren zum wiederholenden mal zu Gast. Das Essen war traumhaft, Die Vorspeise, nicht nur ein Augenschmaus. Als Hauptgang hatte ich ein Steak mit Kräuterbutter:es war auf den Punkt gebraten.Pommes waren sehr knusprig, der Salat schmeckte super. Meine Freundin hatte eine Pizza, die sah sehr knusprig lecker aus. Sie schmeckte ihr hervorragend.die Apperitivs, Wahnsinn" nicht nur von optischen. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Servicepersonals ist klasse, sie waren sofort am Tisch als sie merkten das z B. Getränke leer waren. Auch für einen Smaltalk nahm man sich Zeit. Top Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Von außen macht das Lokal einen positiven Eindruck. Bereits beim Reingehen wurde es ziemlich merkwürdig. Es saßen im Eingangsbereich 5 Herren in ungepflegter Kleidung und diskutierten lautstark über geschäftliche Dinge. Nachdem wir mit drei Personen gegen 12 Uhr mittags am Tisch Platz nahmen, mußte ich erstmal an dem mit Besteck und Servietten eingedeckten Tisch, die Tischsets von Speiseresten vorheriger Gäste befreien. Coronaregeln gelten nicht in diesem Restaurant, das Personal lief ohne Masken durch das Lokal, der Kellner mit seiner schmutzigen Kleidung, ohne Schürze setzte seinen Mund- Nasenschutz erst kurz vor unserem Tisch auf. Wir saßen so, daß wir in die Küche sehen konnten. Unsere Pizzen wurden ohne vorheriges Händewaschen in einer Maschine ausgerollt und mit einem Industrieteig gefertigt. Teigrohlinge, die dann wie hate Pappe schmeckten. Der Belag war sehr spärlich und die Pizza einfach nicht richtig gebacken. Vermutlich war mit diesem Teig auch nicht mehr zu machen. Der Salat war einfach nur Grünzeug mit Industriesauce. Hätten wir nicht eine schwer behinderte Person dabei gehabt, wir hätten das Lokal schleunigst verlassen. Das ganze Lokal ist total unappetitlich, hygienisch eine Katastrophe und hat mit einer italienischen Pizzeria nichts zu tun.
